I have been using this site for over five years and I consider it a lifesaver. I love the fact that I can wear new items all the time, and try different things and be more daring than I may normally if I were purchasing an item. I get lots of compliments on my new outfits and I love being able to change frequently.
I paid for my items, I cancelled my service and I got charged $142. Just a ripoff to suck money from your bank account hoping you don't notice. Never trust one of these companies unless you use a limited fund gift/debit card.
I love when the box arrives and each day is made more fun by having a great new dress to wear. I love all the options, colors, sizes and cuts that I can choose from. Shopping this way is great, it's like getting a preview and test period on everything.
GB is an amazing service that I encourage all of my size 10+ friends to use. I started using it when I became pregnant as an alternative to maternity clothes, and the service has followed me over 2 years and many different sizes. Now I use it for my work wardrobe (free dry cleaning, why thank you!), get daily complements and couldn't be happier. Best thing about it? Mailing your clothes back when traveling, leaving you oodles of room in your suitcase.
I joined after I started a weight loss journey. Having to change sizes frequently, I just love this! I can try new things and I don't have to commit. I've recommended the service many times and will continue. Actually, I am wearing a top today from them!
WTF! I cancelled my subscription in writing months ago, but all of a sudden, I am billed $114.00 on my debit card?... I had none of their inventory and thought we left on good terms and made it clear that their clothes were not a fit for me for the most part. The clothes are a little too young for me, I'm in my 50's and don't need the low cleavage, which seems like all they sell. Other reviewers are right, you want something, but it's not in stock, so have to wait. I would like my money back now!
I've been using Gwynnie Bee for at least three years, and overall I'm very pleased with it. I recommend it to friends and always get compliments on items from the site. My issue is that I've noticed a growing lag time from when I indicate that I've returned an item and when a new item was shipped out. It used to be that if I put an item in the mail on Monday or Tuesday, I could have a new item by the end of the week. This is no longer the case, and it's a little frustrating. I have to plan a lot more lag/lead time if I have an event coming up because I'm not sure if the item I ordered will suit and if I have to wait for a replacement. I'm glad that your business is growing, but you need to hire some more people to fill orders.
I love everything about this service. Sometimes the processing time to send out new items after I've returned items isn't as fast as I'd like, but the clothing options are great and overall I love this service! I work a professional job and it's really nice to always have a fresh look without having to think too much about it. It has also worked really well to be able to wear a different dress for each of the handful of fancy evening events I go to each year, without having to buy a new dress each time.
I was a huge fan of GB, but they really seem to be slippping. Turn around times are becoming worse and worse. I never get any of the newer items I closet. I am really quite disappointed as time goes on. I think I'll give it a little while longer. If things do not improve, I will cancel.
I subscribed to Gwynnie Bee for about 9 months. It SO fit my lifestyle as a medical professional, primarily wearing dresses to work. The Gwynnie Bee suggested sizes were helpful. They did have recommended styles for short people. This is where they aren't quite there. I'm about 5'3", and found the bust or waist on some of the suggested sizes far too low to be worn. They need to have short ladies try these fashions on before recommending. Easy to stop (I had bought so many of their sales dresses, I had enough!) and will resume when I need to
I love the clothes and my revolving closet but wish there was a better way to manage than just adding 20+items as priority. I don't get my priority items any faster than the others. There doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason to what is sent and often get things that are not the right season.
The worst. I have been charged by them for two months. When I call and give all of my email addresses, they say I do not have an account. Paypal is no better, they them say their hands are tied and allow them to continue to take your money. Dont do it!
Decent clothes, though not a ton of variety. Clothes are always clean and neat when they get to me. Shipping is painfully slow.
The service is expensive for the number of garments you get.
I don't appreciate being a guinea pig to prove concept by Caastle. I thought the CEO genuinely cared about plus sizes women and the lack of options in the marketplace. But it was all a big experiment.
I've tried gwynnie bee multiple times, when I've had a change in job etc and need some new clothing options. This time, I'm postpartum and needed clothing to fit at a slightly bigger size. I used the size guides and over half the clothes didn't fit that the guides said should have. I also returned items, and with the shipping time and then apparently lag in processing at their site, it takes days to get anything shipped back. When I emailed to ask about an over a week delay in getting 2 items, they said it's because I had too many items out that they hadn't processed as back. Now that they've processed them, I've still received nothing.
For $95, I received 9 items. Only 4 fit. I purchased the 2 that fit the best, but that purchase price is on top of the $95 I paid. I could have just bought those items at a store for a similar price. So really $95 got me 2 items to wear once each. I'll be cancelling and won't bother trying again nor can I recommend it to others.
Beware! You'll still be charged the full price of the clothing you send back. I sent back 2 shirts that I never wore, and was still charged $154. Still waiting on my money back. Customer service sucks as well. Never recommending yall. And please stop sending me emails... I've tried to remove myself from the mailing list, but yet I still get emails?! Ugh. Could it be any more annoying.
I fell in love with Gwynnie Bee and told everyone about then. I loved some of the clothes and even bought and Item or two. Then there was those supposedly attempted charges... next thing you know I owe over $800 even with me returning everything. Spoke with customer service and was told they could do nothing speak with the ridiculous collection agency who told me it didn't matter if they received Gwynnie Bee received the clothes or not. So not only do you want the money but the clothes too. Soooo disappointed that they didn't even try to work this out and now screwing up my perfect credit.

Signed up for GwynnieBee. Added 35 items to my closet. About 5 days later, received notice that I will be getting my first item in 2 days. Got my dress which fit poorly. Sent it back. Cancelled my subscription. I can't fathom spending $39 on 1 item at a time which takes 7 days to receive.
Always an easy and delightful experience when (if ever) I have to call customer service. They are fast, Knowledgeable kind and very consistent. I am always very satisfied with the results of my request upon my reason for calling. The representative is very clear and understanding in my request. I highly recommend this company.
This is a subscription service, so buyer beware... you pay up front and than get clothes; not what you even asked for... than they charge beyond retail prices to purchase and yet continue to bill when you have not even received any value
Love the concept of gwynnie. Expected it to be more like netflicks. Send in an item get one back in a few days. Shipping is a disaster. Takes forever. If you get an item that you don't like its about 2 weeks to return and get new item. This is very discouraging.
The selection is also not as much as I would like. I don't wear dresses so I am somewhat limited to begin with. Shirts maybe updated once a month with maybe one or two new items. Giving one more month to see if things improve.
I am obsessed with Gwynnie Bee! I've had this service for a little over a year now and don't plan on leaving it any time soon. The dresses are great quality and there is amazing variety. I am always getting compliments on the dresses I get.
I was so tired of using the same dresses over and over. Now I have variety without breaking the bank and having to buy new dresses every week.
They won't let you cancel online, even though you can do everything else online. And if you call the day your subscription renews they won't refund your money. The clothes are very expensive to buy if you like them. The shipments are not sent as quickly as they could be and you will spend way too much on very little. Save yourself the headache I'm dealing with and go with Stitch Fix or something like it.
Tip for consumers:
No refunds and you can't cancel online.

I was in the process of trying to lose weight and Gwynnie Bee was a perfect choice for me. It gave me the ability to choose from lots of different dresses in any size that I needed. It was great! As the get nearer to my goal weight I've decided to take a little break from Gwynnie Bee, but plan to start up again this Spring. Thanks Gwynnie Bee for helping me look stylish at work during my transformation.
The free trial is just a rouse to get you to sign up. The second I hit enter my phone dinged and I had an alert my card had a recent charge. There it was $78 and change.
Customer service answered quickly I didn't have to hold at all. And my money was refunded right away. ( still pending refund. So we will see tomorrow)
When Gwynnie Bee first stared, it was the answer to my "plus-sized" clothing woes. Fun, fashionable, affordable options in an array of brands and sizes. Now, due to my slightly larger size and the shift in focus to clothing for women of all sizes (read "normal sizes", and read it with sarcasm), there are only a handful of brands that comfortably fit and the company is no longer a safe haven for me. What started out as a godsend and even a bit of a body-positive experience has morphed into something that is, again, for the masses, and which no longer provides me the high quality service I need. This is why capitalism is a failed model for meeting human needs. Given the opportunity to meet the needs of the initial focused clientele, where there is a veritable clothing desert, Gwynnie Bee, like many companies, sold out their loyal customers to make more money.
I love Gwynnie Bee. I've been a member for over 5 years. For the most part I am a happy subscriber. I have noticed that the pricing of the items are getting more expensive. My plan is 2 items $63. I don't think it is reasonable to want me to buy a summer shirt for $70. I think the pricing should be more in line with the fact that the items are worn. My second issue is the packaging. Can we please get rid of the boxes? As someone who has their boxes come to the job and also a commuter. The boxes are a hassle. Plus dealing with them afterwards. Please think about sending the items in the purple bags then have us send the items back in the bags. I do that with ASOS purchases. No problem.
It sounds like a great idea in theory but in reality the clothing are geared toward older women. Also the sizing is super awkward I got clothing that was super big on me because I didn't understand the sizing well enough. Just got my first package and will be canceling not for me, at all!
