Coinbase support is like talking to a brick wall. Can't wait for AI to replace them. They are the worst.

My single wish in life is that I could give NEGATIVE stars! I never write reviews, but I truely pray this company goes under! For about a year, I have been getting malicious emails stating my account has been acessed in various locations from across the world each one on a new device. After struggling, I successfully deleted my account. However the frequency of the malicious emails increased. Upon my calling in, logging in, getting virtual support, etc., to help confirm my accounts deletion, any and all Coinbase representatives refused to assist me. They demanded card numbers I never added to my account, claiming it was for verification. They refused manager/supervisor contact of any kind, claiming, "they dont exist". Coinbase is a fraudulent company that specializes in being unhelpful and scamming their customers. They have zero regaurd for costumer support, buisness ethics, and they commit fraud. I am still getting malicious emails daily, I remain unable to stop them, and Coinbase continues to refuse confirmation of my accounts deletion.

Coinbase violated it's identification policies and allowed someone to access my account, steal 28k of ether out, then access my bank account and transfer 28k as well. Sad part was i received a notification from both my email and phone companies at 11:00pm that this fraud was being executed. I immediately called the "hotline to suspend the account. At 5:10am after ignoring my stop Coinbase transfered my money to the thiefs. It took a month for me to access my account. Coinbase's response was basically tough luck, complaint closed. All done by email. I my opinion, their view is "too bad try to sue us."

Then with death of son tried to transfer his account. I uploaded all information. I got back email to provide information. 48 hours later got email that request was closed without them fulfilling transfer. Eventually resent same information and got transfer. But what a joke. Find somewhere else to manage your crypto unless you want to lose your money. This company should not even exist and definitely should not be public. Good luck investors.

I was a long time customer that joined back in 2014 when I was a crypto miner. Then Coinbase was the easiest way to convert crypto to cash. Since then it has tried to expand to offer other financial services. Part of this expansion involved adopting the KYC (know your customer) guidelines that banks and other financial institutions use. In my case, it was the verification feature where you send in identification documents. New requirements meant that to perform all of the functions that I had been able to perform previously, I would need to verify my identity... FINE. I did.

The problem was that they had a bug in the process and it didn't work. After that my account was rendered unusable because any transaction of value required a verification which would not work.
I fought with them for 3 days talking to support staff and so-called administrators. They were all very friendly, but all totally worthless. When I finally asked them to liquidate my assets and make them available to transfer back to my bank account, one support tech actually offered me the opportunity to forfeit them (to Coinbase) to make a clean break.

For me, only a trivial amount of money was at stake but for them to handle my situation so terribly, I cannot imagine trusting them with any substantial sum of money. As of this writing, my account is still unusable and I am still working on ways to send my assets elsewhere to empty the account before I close it. The bottom line is that their "support" is completely worthless even when the error is theirs. I wish that I could give them zero stars.

Today there are other players in the industry. You would do well to investigate alternatives to Coinbase's services... at least until they 1) fix their verification software and 2) drastically improve the effectiveness of their customer support.

My money was held for over 2 weeks. Absolutely useless! Don't waste your time! Customer care was a joke IF u could manage to get to it.

Stay as far away from this company as you can. Horrible customer service. Not willing to help at all.

Horrible company and that goes along with their cudtomer service. I have messaged the CEO cia twitter and the bull$#*! support. My account was frozen on Febr 13th. After several e-mails all I get is nothing, and I mean nothing. Head all the warnings! Coinbase will take your money, not resolve the issue and continue taking other peoples money. I will be reporting them and now I'm super pissed and willing to do whatever I have to. Digital currency is supposed to be the future but Counbase is your typicak bull$#*! company. DONT BUY ANY COINS, THERE ARE PLENTY OF OTHER SIGHTS. ALSO, THE ONE GOOD REVIEW ON HERE IS A FAKE. How can one person be taken care of while the rest of us are robbed. SHADY SHADY! Froze my inaugural account for 45 days for no reason, with No customer service operators AT ALL. A real crap show.Stay off this platform

They will lock you out of your account and take your money. Coinbase is unreliable! Also no callback

I have $25K on deposit with Coinbase. $22K in cash and $3K in Bitcoin. I opened the account in July 2021. I traded small amounts of crypto between July and October 2021. In April 2022 I thought I might buy some more as crypto prices were down. When I accessed my account, it said I could not trade and it would also not allow me to withdraw or link an account to enable a withdrawl. I have spent hours with their help chat and on their help line. I have not been told why my account has been frozen. I have been told that the case has been escalated to a specialist team and they will email me. No emails have arrived. I've tried to speak to people with authority and get a bunch of canned responses "no supervisors are available right now", "they are all in a meeting", "someone will get back to you via email". I've read and seen many stories on ponzi schemes and financial frauds and it seems to me that Coinbase is making all the same excuses that these fraudsters make. I hope I can get my money out. My advice is to avoid Coinbase.

I give five stars to reflect my satisfaction of the professionalism I received fixing my credit with XAP Credit Solution. I hired "XAPCREDITSOLUTION at GeeMAIL dot COM" because of the amazing reviews; my only goal in this arrangement was to get some late payments off and to remove a collection account. I was amazed; XAP was able to remove all of my inquiries and the collection off the credit bureaus as well as the late payments. The goal was to get them removed in two weeks like I saw on YouTube. He did it in less than five days. Not entirely what I expected but I am happy he did it before the expected date and my score increased 380 points using XAP. I got approved for a $258k FHA loan just after fixing my credit.
