I ordered pillow and tried to return it. My receipt stated that a return label was enclosed, but it wasn't. I ended up having to pay 34.46 to return it. Then Cuddledown subtracted 22.46 from my refund. Total out of pocket is 66.92 and I have nothing to show for it. On top of that they refuse to acknowledge the problem. Watch out! You could be out a lot of money with nothing in return.
At various times, I ordered bedding from this company but the last purchase in April 2019, I was automatically entered into their monthly membership program at $14.95/month. I have no idea what this encompasses but I quickly called them when I received my Chase statement and saw this as a purchase. I was livid. I called their customer service number and was rerouted to an overseas Asian customer service contractor. When it was established that I wanted this purchase reversed, the phone went dead. I had to call back, and again, I had to be transferred twice before the third attempt to be rerouted back to a US customer representative who tried to say that I signed up for it. She was so caustic and sarcastic it was all I could do to stay civil. She told me I would be issued a credit so if I don't see in two days, I'm calling Chase. Be very vigilant when dealing with this company... they are scammers!
I bought the featherbed that I slept in at Miraval Spa after I researched who made it, etc. it has been the worse experience I have ever had! After I purchased it, I got nothing from them, then within a day I received a receipt, 2 weeks later, I called them because it never shipped. I was told it was back ordered, I tried to cancel it then I was told it would be in snd shipped in a few days. 2 days later I received a giant box, with the wrong size feather bed in it. I never took it out of the box I called them, drove it to the post office with either label and mailed it back. It's now 2 weeks later they know nothing about it. Thank god I have the tracking information and I used American Express! Do not purchase from this company you can spend your money anywhere, use Parachute! They are honest and trustworthy!
After sending back a pillow, Cuddledown did not credit my account for about two and a half months. During that time, I had to call the third party "customer service" only to be told that once the warehouse receives the merchandise, my account would be credited.
They had the merchandise and for whatever reason withheld the refund. The cost of the pillow, the cost of the shipping and handling, and having the return held back for almost 6 weeks is the reason for this poor review. Disappointment all the way around. I would not recommend this company.
Be very careful purchasing from this company! Their customer service is not interested in helping the customer! They charge an outlandish fee to send an item, which will then take 2 weeks to arrive. If it is damaged or not the correct item you will then pay another fee ($10) to return the item, and that action will take 4-6 weeks before your account is credited! It is very possible that the reviews on their website are invented! Reviews don't seem to have any relationship to the item. And it is impossible to find a spot to review on their website.
I noticed a charge on my credit card on July 5 for $14.95 labeled "Cuddletown VIP". I purchased a blanket months ago and never, never agreed to pay for a VIP account. This is blatant fraud. Don't buy anything from this company.
The VIP membership plan is a joke. I enrolled in it to save 10% & get free shipping. I received confirmation of my order but the 10% discount was not included and shipping was charged. Three phone calls later I was finally told that I had to submit proof of my order. Proof of my order? - they just sent me a confirmation.
The online site would not let me put any items in my cart so I called customer service to order. After 25 minutes I gave up hope on the clerk understanding English so I ended the call and phoned back to get a different clerk. 15 minutes later I had my order in. I was able to get 2 out of the11 items I requested. A day later I got a notice that my credit card was wrong and I need to call again. No thanks. My daughter went to a different company and had my order done in about 10 minutes. My $500. Order and all future orders through them are gone.
Never use these people again. Dishonest is the nicest word I have. Fedex misdelivered the package, said to make a claim, customer service says order again (and we will bill your credit card) and we will waive shipping. Nope. Never again.
The ship the order in 2 separate shipments, but in the website order status, it only shows one (with the tracking), the 2nd one was not on the website or in the shipping confirmation email, so I got worried and call them because I only received partial order. The staff gave me the tracking number 23 of them without a single stop, I asked her to repeat the last 4 digits, the only one time I asked her to repeat things, she got so impatient, I thanked her and she hung up without even saying goodbye?
This is a order almost $500 dollars and she cannot even stop once for 3 secs and being polite? There are so many good companies that provides better services with this price range, I am willing to spend more to not deal with them. Stay Away.

I've been hung up on after being a confused and polite customer who had questions about a return due to Cuddledown calculations.
I had spent $400. Never received the VIP Packet. So I Never received my Shipping Charges reimbursed as promised. Three very nasty Customer Service Agents who kept repeating info I did not understand re: process. And I'm a former ASST. Atty. General who dealt w consumer Affairs for the Commonwealth of MA.
Lovely bedding. Worth the Higher price. But nothing is worth RUDE AND NASTY. Customer service agents.
I've lost approximately $100 thst now bc they won't help me, I am owed, but will never receive!
Go elsewhere for your bedding!
This is my third order. First comforter took 5+ weeks to deliver from MA to CA. Granted it was ordered on Nov 22nd, but was delivered first week of January. Love the comforter. Now instead of using FED Ex ground where a tracer can be placed, they are using FED Ex smartPost. Inferior if you want to see your package before week 3 or 4. This SHOULD be posted on their website! And four+ weeks shipping anywhere in the continental US seems absurd. Use 2-day and pay the $15, hopefully they will send your package 2-day!
It has creases sewn in it. Not worth 18.95 when l contacted them they said they couldn't find a record of my purchase. I recieved it An hour ago its got snags in it to these look like factory rejects l asked for a return label recently lve bought other bedding from cuddledown that was fine but £18.75 for a badly made pillow they say they are proud of the quality of their products and meticulous haha
I purchased some items for a few hundred dollars from my debit account. They debited another $225 that I could not get back. Their excuse was that is was to verify that I could pay the original amount, and that we would get it back in a few days! THIS WAS A DEBIT CARD, not a credit card. So now I am short on trying to purchase anything for my daily expenses, like food. Do not ever buy anything from this outfit
I logged on to the Cuddledown site on May 3 to order two sets of bamboo towels (bath, hand, washcloth) to ship as a Mother's Day gift. The site showed all were in stock, so I proceeded to order. I received an order confirmation on the third and a shipping notice on the 6th - a partial order ( so Mom got a partial gift). They ignored my e-mail inquiry. When I reached them by phone on the 15th, after a veeeery long hold period, I was told that the remaining items were in the warehouse but would ship 7 days from now. They said "sorry, that's all I can do for you". No gesture to compensate with a coupon or future discount. Very frustrating experience. I will not endure this treatment again.
I purchased very expensive Calida pajamas from Cuddledown in size medium. The bottom fit more like a large and the top fit like an XL or XXL. It fit like a tent. I could not even order a smaller size due to the mismatch. It also seemed like the pajamas had been used because they smelled of a very strong perfume or laundry soap.
I returned the pajamas and ended up paying $25 ($15 original shipping charge and $10 return shipping).
I will never order from this company again. I don't want to run the risk of something being wrong with the item (like these mis-sized pajamas) and end up paying for shipping to me and back to Cuddledown.

This company did not send my full order. When I called them, they put the blame on me and wanted me to jump through hoops to accommodate them. After arguing with them, they assured me they would send the rest of my order. Today I called to follow up. They lied to me. They hadn't mailed the rest of my order and again wanted me to jump through hoops to rectify their mistake. Lousy Customer Service!
I purchased a duvet cover, sheets, and pillowcases. They charged $45 for shipping. The duvet cover and fitted king sheet were not available so they canceled that part of the order. What the h*ll am I going to do with a top sheet and pillowcases and no bottom sheet or cover? Then they showed online they were available so I ordered again. I waited and waited until it was almost too late to return the items I had. They assured me the other items were coming. They did not come and they wanted to CHARGE ME to send them back. I returned the items on 4/24/2020 and today is 5/19/2020. They received the items according to shipping almost two weeks ago and still NO credit. I have been on hold for 41 minutes WAITING TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE. Everything is made in CHina and is very cheaply put together but priced at a quality price. DO NOT ORDER. I have wasted so much time on this it is ridiculous.
I had a run in with customer service back in May 2020 over a discount that I was going to get turned out to be a rebate which i wasn't interested in dealing with. I requested they cancel the order because i felt that the way the discount was being advertised and actually being paid out was 2 different things and in my opinion deceitful. Four months later my husband notices a charge on my discover card for $12.95 a month for a V. I. P acct that I never authorized. Seems the charged started right after I had my run in with customer service. I'm so angry about it that I've cancelled my account with them and I've removed them from my email.
