I tried to buy one of the deals and when i submitted my order it says "failed transaction" then I tried again it gave me the same message. Then I found that i was cherged twice and I cant track or find my order.

I've been doing business with these people for some time with no problems... until now. I ordered a space heater several months ago that arrived totally smashed. Apparently this was a common problem. They sent an email with a return label... I had a friend follow ALL instructions, called UPS to pick up the package, and now there is no record of it. So, I'm out 100.00, I seem to have no recourse, I'm 3000 miles from home (taking care of a parent on home hospice) and have to deal with these idiots. I will never do business with them again and I highly recommend no one else does either. At the very least, only order inexpensive trivial items.
They sent broken non functional charging cables. No help from customer service. Oh well..
Absolute junk. Purchased two "refurbished" electronic devices, a Samsung Tab and Logitech 1000 remote. Neither was anywhere near the condition indicated. Both were very well worn from use, had barely even been dusted off let alone cleaned, shipped with no manuals or documentation whatsoever.
The battery shipped with the Logitech doesn't fit the device and both the Part# and Serial# were scratched off.
No refunds whatsoever. Never. Again.
I am not now or ever been paid by anyone to write my reviews in favor of anyone unless I personally found them to either be a good company or a bad company. I write from personal experience. I am telling you that this is a good company. I say this because every time I have ordered anything from them it came quick and always in good working condition. I have spent over 150.00 and every penny was worth it. They always seem to have what I need or want. It's been 22 days since I ordered from this site. After 2 weeks, my item did not show shipped, so I contacted them. It took 3 days and 8 contact requests before someone responded. It is now 8 days since I first contacted them. They have updated my item to shipped but the tracking number gives me no information and if I go to the UPS site it shows that the tracking number was delivered 3 months before I ordered it, and went to the other side of the country. Instead of simply sending me one or refunding my money, they are dragging it on and on saying that it was forwarded to a manager but this manager doesn't seem to exist? I have given up on getting a resolution. I feel they stole from me and am allowing my bank to deal with them. STAY AWAY!
I have been pleased with daily steals in the past, but recently ordered 2 of the Roku XS's on Nov 7. I was informed on Nov 23 that the XD' s were sent out by mistake, and I was given 3 options, I chose option 3, to return the products(shipping costs covered), and get a full refund. I received an email today(Nov 29) with my return shipping label, so I can ship my roku's back and finish the order. I am sure that Daily Steals was swamped by the error that appeared to have been Roku's in origin, and has been trying to catch up with the mass of annoyed customers.
I have ordered a dozen products from this site and all has gone well. BUT I do not expect timely shipping or good customer service from a site whose return police is "All Sales Are Final." I order name brand items that are deeply discounted (90%), and my order NEVER exceeds $25. I carefully search the web to verify the value of their merchandise and order only items that meet my criteria. I would not recommend this site for medium/expensive merchandise.
"DailySteals.com is a total scam. Purchasing from this website has been not only a headache for me but for the thousands that have shopped there. On Nov 7th, I purchased a Roku XS from their website for $59.99 I recieved AN item on Nov 23. The Item I recieved is a Roku XD, an inferior model. I have came across a few other customers online that recieved the inferior product.
On top of sending the wrong product their shipping takes a very long time. But it's stated it take 6-10 business days to ship, in which it did. But having to wait so long to find out that the item wrong is very frustrating.
I have contacted their customer support on friday and have not heard back. They have been contacted again today. In terms of customer service I haven't seen any.
If the seller would like me to re-evalute their score they need to rectify this situation with no cost to me."

As of 11/5/12 not item and they will not responed to emails. They took my money when I ordered and not there is no phone to call, have to rely on email and they do not respond. On thier site they pat themselves on the back for how whey they are shipping after the storm. BS

Almost all items are way over priced when showing the original retail price. Most items are just a few dollars better than other sites. From personal experience, if an item says recertified it seems that someone wiped it down with a towel and sent it out. Scratches, dents, dirt and all. The site says it usually takes 6 business days to send out the item. Of the few items i have ordered, they've all taken about a month to receive. And don't expect a tracking number. When you look up the order status it doesn't show any updates even months after you have already received the item.
AWFUL. HORRIBLE. BEWARE. They have good prices but beware. Once I ordered a "refurbished' digital frame. When it finally arrived after two weeks it was chipped, something was loose inside. Basically it was damaged junk. My next order, well, I don't know what I'm going to get. It's been 15 days and still no product. The people who run this company should be arrested!
Got solar post lights on eBay, 8 out of twelve Batteries doesn't hold charge, send to me 8 Alkaline batteries (non rechargeable) after that offer credit for $2.75 to bid for batteries on an auction that ends up on $30.50 plus $5.68 shipping, after that apologies and end of communication.
Prior that, got two Bluetooth headsets, one with no volume and the other never got batteries charged, got to return at my expense.
Should've read these reviews before dealing with these con artists. Here's my experience:
Dailysteals... the key part of their name is 'steals'. Stay away AT ALL COSTS. The products they sell ARE NOT in inventory. Their business plan is based on fraud: they are selling you something they don't have. The instant you 'buy' from them, they charge your credit card to get the money so that they can go to their suppliers and only then do they buy'the very product that they already 'sold' (and charged) to you. They confirmed this shady practice multiple times to me by email... reputable companies have inventory and sell you what they have or, at the least, do not charge your credit card until they have something to ship to you. Of course, Dailysteals shady business model means you wait "up to six business days" before they even have your merchandise to ship. Of course, none of this is disclosed to customer prior to buying... it's only in their order confirmation email do they disclose the six business day wait. Even worse, you are paying $5 shipping for each and every item you buy. I ordered three very small items for a total of $33 and the shipping ran another $15... I was charged for the FULL amount and here we are a week later and part of my order has been 'cancelled' (no refund posted to my credit card yet) and the other part still hasn't arrived. Other similar online daily deal websites charge much less in shipping, or charge you a flat shipping rate for your entire order. My personal experience involved incorrect shipping information, part of my order being cancelled (after waiting nearly a week), and stubborn and incompetent dealings with their customer service.
Basically, shop somewhere else, anywhere else, unless you like being stringed along and/or you like dealing over and over again with utterly incompetent customer service
Purchase was not shipped for 14 days after payment. There is no Customer Service telephone number. Contact to customer service is via email only. They took 4 days to reply to my email. They are the ABSOLUTE WORST internet shopping site I have ever purchased from. REPEATED PROBLEMS AND THEY DON'T SHIP ON TIME. Long waits for everything!. STAY AWAY!
If I could give them a -10 rating that would be too good, I order the Wii outdoor adventure game with the controller pad for my grandson, recd it without the game inside told them about i, no one responded. I wrote several complaints, finally someone asked me to take a picture of my order and email it to them, so I emailed the empty slot where the game should have been, on response, complained again, they asked me to send it back to them with an authorization no. I have never recd another response from them, I have complained, no answer, this company is a ripe off!
This website is horrible. They sell the item that doesn't exist in their store. I bought router from them and it has been 3 weeks. When I send an email its hard to get response and finally they said they don't know when the item is going to ship or cancel the order.
"I recently purchased an Emerson EVC1800 digital video camera I was very disappointed when it arrived to my home and it did not work. I tried plugging it into 2 different computers trying to charge it and I got the same thing both times absolutely nothing. The Emerson would not turn on at all. I also discovered the lock on the battery side doesn't work so this makes this camera useless since it is suppose to be waterproof. All I wanted was a digital camera I could use, but instead I have a broken camera and so far all my money out the window for nothing. I just want something done to correct this it seems like bad business to me to sale products that don't work. So after writing my first review about the broken camera they call me once, but when I was unable to answer because I was at work they never returned any of my calls when I called back to the phone number and extension I was given on my answering machine. What is the point in giving a number for the customer to call back on if you aren't going to answer or return the calls when messages are left. This is the worse business etiquette I have experienced. I just wanted a camera I could use and instead I have $30 down the drain and a broken camera taking up space."
