After reading so many bad reviews but decided to give them a try. I am glad I did. The items were shipped the next business day and I was provided tracking. Parts arrived and were exactly as expected. Completed assembly and went to the range. Everything performed flawless with over 100 rounds. I will buy from them again.
Incorrectly assembled a.458 SOCOM I ordered with a standard Upper Receiver.458 Requires an XL version with the larger ejection port. Reached out to them Three times to make it right with zero response.
The absolute worst company I've ever ordered from. Prices are competitive with others however once they take your money you will NEVER hear from them again. I ordered 9/28/20 and to this day no order. Simple "IN STOCK" item after I purchased is supposedly a 25-27 business day ship time. ABSOLUTE GARBAGE! Of the 50 plus attempts of me calling and emailing I have gotten one email saying it would ship 11/3 but it hasn't!
Shipping is horrible. Customer service never answers phone. Takes a week for them to return an email. Ordered an in stock item 10 days ago and it still hasn't been shipped
I've ordered alot of ar15 parts from Davidson Defense, and through Delta Team Tactical. Also, Omega Manufacturing. FA fcg's, chrome lined uppers. Some pre assembled, and some not. I haven't had one single, solitary issue with any one part. Shipping time has been atleast as fast as any large site selling similar parts. What is up with all these negative reviews? I personally have got to think they're all BS. Either a builder making mistakes blaming the company, or other companies competing with slightly higher prices trying to drive business there way. I don't get it. Betting most negative reviews can be attested to operator error or age. Order with confidence. Oh and btw. I've had more trouble out of bigger companies, such as Midw** and OpticsPlan**. My reviews never seem to show up on there sites, and I didn't get jack from there customer service unless automated counts. Just my experience, Kenneth Jackson
A few months ago, I did a Review on Davidson Defense. Now I am here to follow-up with a "not so positive" Review. Their Customer Service is absolutely horrific! They WILL NOT return phone calls, Voicemails, or emails (even though they state that they will). I have had several issues to go on and I have tried to contact them via both phone and emails ad nauseam. Mistakes can happen; that's not my issue. The problem is that they (again) WILL NOT COMMUNICATE. It's unreal! This last time was the "Straw." Only after I mentioned a contact with the State of Utah's Consumer Protection Agency did I ever get a reply from them. Oh, and they never will give the contact info of the President or CEO of DD. I have asked repeatedly with NO response. MY $1K per month is going elsewhere because they don't appreciate it here eat Davidson Defense.

I have placed three orders with DD and have no complaints. The negative reviews that I found here after placing my first order had me worried. Then I found a YouTube video from a prominent trusted Firearm Reviewer giving a very positive take on a DD's AR15. They also have such a varied inventory of small single items that other sites simply do not have. I was able to order what I needed without buying what I didn't need. Customer service so far has been good. They gave me a 5% discount because of a misunderstanding on my first order. Also, they DO give military discounts with easy to do proving. In addition, they offer Free Shiping (to the USA) for orders over $120. So...Great Inventory, Quality Product, Good Customer Service, Superb Pricing, and Qualified Discounts. Davidson Defense is now my "Go-To" place for almost all my firearms needs and wants.

I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews for Davidson Defense. Also, THIS Review Site needs to give some attention on why it doesn't "recognize" a certain document when attempting to upload. Absolutely stupid! This kept me from being "verified."

I ordered 2 uppers, 10-24-2020. Received them 12-19-20. They state 27 days to ship. But after 27 days there's no communication about the order, customer service is terrible.
I was very concerned when I first ordered my upper but when I had questions I emailed them and within 2 hours of the next business day they returned my email and phone call. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! All of the reviews are a little daunting, but definitely would recommend if you are willing to wait!
Upper receivers from this company fits as advertise and are a good price. Will shop again and recomend ordering enough to cover 10.00 flat rate shipping.

Ordered upper a month ago got stolen or lost. Called got put on hold for 30 minutes then they hung up. I have already sent a letter to UTAH AG about the stolen AR15 parts
Both the service and product from Davidson Defense is TRASH. Front sight posts were MISSING from the front sight bases of my upper receiver. Davidson Defense has not completed my order, and has not mitigated this matter when brought to their attention. I still don't have my front sight posts, and Davidson Defense has not offered to ship them to me.
Ordered a serialized lower on 3 March, tracking process in their facility is severally flawed. Customer service folks don't know status, FFL manager lost track of lower that I ordered that needed a part to complete kit. After 5 calls and getting the run around and excuses. Lower was found, put together and I received a tracking # on 26 April, waited a week no updates, called and the said USPC picked it up, and should call Route, called Route and USPS, that didn't have it nor had a status, called back to Davidson Defense and they discovered that it never left their facility sat there from 26 April to 3 May. Was offered 5% off next order...don't think I'll be ordering again, good news lower is in transit FINALLY.
Fails to respond to calls, emails and tickets. Order was lost and took them 2 months to figure it out and the entire time, made it seem like I was trying to pull one over on them.

I places my order on Davidson Defense's website on 11/06/2020 and I still have not received my order. The Website says 23 days from order date to shipping but we are passed that now and now I cannot get a hold of anyone in customer service. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!
Great place to go and learn about your weapon and have great products and quality services. Have purchased many items from them and have never had a problem with them.
I received my upper and the takedown pins from my lower would not go though. I tried it on a total of 7 different lowers. I had a Sheriffs Office firearm instructor look at it, he had the same issue. Company would not issue a full refund. Read there BBB rating and ratings on their FB page. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!

Let me start by saying I never leave reviews cause I don't have the time but I felt it necessary to do so with this company. I have ordered things from many different companies and understand that things happen, especially when buying gun parts ext. However Davidson Defense has been the absolute worst company I have ever had the displease to do business with, if I could give negative I would. They started out by sending my gun build to the wrong freaking address! Thank god I purchased the insurance as well as it getting returned to sender. Then it sat around somewhere for about 3 weeks. Then finally it got back to them. Mind you all this been about a month a half now. Then the ask for addess, I give it to them, and then they argue with me for 2 weeks saying that's not my address. I don't care if it was or not, if i ask you to send it somewhere then you do it, its my stuff. They ended up making me show proof that it was indeed my address. Then get this, they send it to the wrong address again! It has now been over 2 months, I still have no product and now they are trying to tell me I have to wait until they get new stock to get my order. All the while I have been asking for a phone call. Not one person in over 2 months has answered the phone or bothered to call me to make this right. All they can do is respond with an email a week or so later. So to sum it up, IF YOU WANT THE STUFF YOU PAID FOR, GO TO ANOTHER COMPANY! Do not buy here no matter how good the price is!

Bought two hand-guards. Called to return... No damage to product. Called for return rma... They never pick up their phone. Emailed and they respond days later. After I returned product for guaranteed return. Got shipping confirmation that they got the product. They NEVER credited my account... but billed me full amount. Stay Away from Davidson Defense! This company is UNRESPONSIVE to the customer. THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN. Go anywhere else. SPEND IT AT DAVIDSON AND YOU WON'T GET YOUR MONEY BACK EVEN IF YOU HAVE SHIPPING CONFIRMATION THAT THEY HAVE THEIR PRODUCT BACK. THIS COMPANY IS COMPLETELY IRRESPONSIBLE! 3 MONTHS LATER AND STILL NO REFUND DESPITE THEIR GUARANTEE! RUN AWAY! I FINALLY GOT A HOLD OF A GUY NAMED BRAD AT THEIR STORE FRONT. HE REFUSED TO TALK TO ME AND HUNG UP SAYING HE WAS TOO BUSY AND THEY HAVE THOUSANDS OF ORDERS. I TOLD HIM THE CUSTOMER PHONE NUMBER HE WAS TRYING TO GET ME TO CALL NEVER PICKS UP AND IVE BEEN TRYING FOR MONTHS. HE JUST HUNG UP ON ME... NOT CARING AT ALL THAT THEY HAVE TAKEN MY MONEY! THIS GUY DESERVES JAIL TIME! CLOSE THIS COMPANY DOWN.

Purchased UNASSEMBLED (I do all the work) ar15 upper and it's been 18 days and still hasn't even shipped and no reply so far from the company!! Ordered larger quantities from 3 other companies days after placing this one and received those orders so far a week earlier and still counting. FIRST AND LAST TIME PURCHASING FROM DAVIDSON DEFENSE!!!

A month and a half and still no response and no frame they don't respond to calls emails nothing just take your money and it's all over
Been ordering gun parts from DD many years. Was complete neophyte when i started. No, they never did answer any of my 'uninformed' questions?... i had no idea where to start? I didn't even know the difference between an AR10 and an AR15? Did 308's require a different lower? What exactly did a 'lower' consist of? What was included in an 'upper'? I had NO idea!
So i ordered what looked like a mostly complete kit? And got started there.
DD never did respond to any of my emails? I had to figure it out on my own? So i did.
Even learned to polish, clean and shine cheaper mass produced parts like they were custom made! Not a single question i had that wasn't solved by serious reading and Youtube videos!
I've come to the conclusion? It would be impossible for DD to answer all the crazy questions like mine they must get?... be everybody's custom gun build consultant? And? Still offer the ridiculously low parts prices they offer? I think that's what local gunsmiths and local gunshop classes are for? DD cant, won't, didn't hold my hand. I had to do the research and figure it out on my own. Who knows? Maybe for legal reasons? They don't even send out any kind of instruction manual? Let alone have i ever seen a single assembly diagram? (unless i ordered a printed cleaning mat}... which i did! Several!
But it worked AWESOME! Over a dozen successful builds later! [incl AR9s, AR15s, AR10/308/6.5 Creedmore., 50 Cal. BEOWOLF! [WHAT A MONSTER!}, and even easy 22lr conversions of some of the above for cheaper range time?
Totally happy with DD's budget parts supply!
