“Been here since the beginning and highly recommend Deal Dash!”

Vicki L.
12/17/24

I don't know what specific experience I experienced on 12/7, however, I have, over the years filled most of my gifting needs through my Deal Dash wins. The quality of the products have always been very good and there is something here for everyone. I have only had 1 or 2 hiccups over the years.but the staff is always very simpathetic and quick to make the situation right. I will continue to be one of Deal Dash's biggest fans!

The same people win all the time! They appear to have unlimited bids, and enter multiple auctions at once. Do not like the new format and doubt I will continue playing once my bids are gone. It's just too hard to win these days!

They make it impossible to win without spending more than the product is worth. Don't do it!

Hello All,

This review is for the site... not just customer service as a bunch of these reviews are for. Customer service is nice... seem like nice people... will give you a second chance to lose your money... but remember... smiling faces can hide the evil inside.

I, Like many of you, have been deceived, lied to, and cheated by Deal Dash. Their fraudulent ways have hurt many of us. It is easy to get caught up in the "auction like" atmosphere and purchase way more than you expected trying to win an item. Many I'm sure, my self included, have felt that you must stay in that auction because you have already committed so much of your time and money into it that you feel it would be a waste to "get out" now. And finally when it comes to a point that you realize you have gone too far and must stop... the second you do 2 others drop off and someone else wins. It is not a coincidence. Deal Dash anticipates and hopes this is what will happen from new bidders in order for them to fraudulently make their money. A coincidence is a remarkable concurrence of events or circumstances which have no apparent causal connection. Once a connection has been made... it is no longer a coincidence. It seems that others along with myself have made that connection and want to stop Deal Dash before they can hurt more consumers.
I have been trying to be cordial and seem polite in this post. But to be really honest... not like Deal Dash... I'm pretty upset at what has happened to me and others. All we/I wanted was a fair shot at getting the things we bidded on and that didn't happen. It's so funny that Deal Dash says it does not allow re-selling of their items won... but yet one can bid on and win six size 8... 7 size 10... 3 size 12... 4 size 11 shoes... and wear each pair? I think not... you can only use so many sets of knives... but when you buy 30 of them Deal Dash just says it's probably for gifts... nope. Don't think so. It's amazing the people they have... I can only wear 2 watches at a time if I wanted... one on each wrist. But people can buy one every week for 12 weeks... I want to see their arms! When someone wins over 1.5 million dollars worth of merchandise in less than a year... something is not right... beside the fact that I sure would like to see where they put it. Gotta be a mansion to hang up 43 large pictures worth over $2000 each! People are just buying things so they can sell them and then take the money and buy more bids to buy more stuff that they really don't want and somebody who actually would like to have the item gets duped. The site has become such a scam and fraud it is just incredible... So to me... It's time for Deal Dash to pay the piper!

Take my advice and stay away...

That $15 dollar T. V. set is in NO WAY, SHAPE OR FORM $15... It's going to be around $900.00 by the time you're done! Secondly, this site uses ELECTRONIC SHILL BIDDING (ie BOTS) to hike the bids up to ABOVE RETAIL.

But for some reason, they get away with it. They are OUTRIGHT SCAM ARTISTS, who are completely MISREPRESENTING EVERYTHING about the prices that you pay, the phony "bidding" system and everything else. When you "win" an item for $15 and it really costs you $900.00... well, that is a BIG, FAT LIE, A CHEAT, A SWINDLE and most importantly -- it's a MISREPRESENTATION.

The sad, SAD truth is, most of the bidders are elderly and feeble minded. They think they "know what they are doing" and are basically like over-sized children who cannot be told "NO!" They throw away their life saving on junk they could be buying FOR MUCH LESS, right down the street for retail price.

This company makes it's living off of fleecing people who don't know any better. They exploit people's weakness because they know that if they don't, someone else will. They have no conscious and no soul.

And the funny thing is, they are too short sided to understand the FACT that THEY will be on the RECEIVING END of this "deal" in just a few SHORT years ;) Tick tock... you're running out of time DealDash employees... If you're so stupid that you think you can get away with swindling people out of their life savings and get away with it, well, I have news for you. You're stupid enough to be the next in line...

Pat yourself on the backs for the soulless world that you have worked so hard to create. One that takes advantage of our parents and grandparents when they get old. A world that is going to RIP YOU WITHOUT CARE in just a little while... almost as badly as it RIPS your children and grandchildren.

And you thought you were getting a DEAL? HA! HA! HA! More like a "deal" with the DEVIL. LOL!

Enjoy those overpriced Chinese trinkets now... while you still can.

Deal Dash has been ignoring it's customers by not returning emails regarding missing won/purchased auction items. There is no way to reach them by phone. Their phone number directs you to email them. IF you do get an email response, it's usually weeks later and then all you get are empty promises and canned auto replies when you inquire where your missing won auction items are that you were due to receive WEEKS or MONTHS ago, based on the dates they gave you when you won the auction. They set the status for the items as "shipped" as soon as you pay them, yet in my case, when a customer service rep finally responded to my email, admitted that they had never been shipped, and wouldn't BE shipped for another week or two. They ruined my Christmas, and I still haven't received my won items. I won them in mid-November. They were due here by December 5,2012. That's the date Deal Dash posted on those items. By late December, I finally filed claims with Pay Pal, and my credit card company. Pay Pal has a 45 day time limit, so I didn't want time to run out. When Pay Pal sent my claim to Deal Dash and asked for a tracking number for the shipped items, Deal Dash provided Pay Pal with FAKE USPS tracking numbers. For every item. My claims are currently under review with Pay Pal and my credit card company has issued Deal Dash (via Pay Pal) chargebacks for my claims. I also have posted reviews on sites like this everywhere, have filed with the BBB, and my next step is the NY State Attorney and my local police department. IF you need help with similar issues... or even have other problems, such as you've noticed strange or unusual activity in the auctions (such as constant freezing, etc), you're a victim of bait and switch (you won something but they sent you something that was of lesser value or refurbished, for example), or if you received an item that was broken and they won't allow you to return it... go to this site on Facebook. There are people there that will try to help. You are not alone. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Dealdashripoff/**************?ref=ts&fref=ts

Sitejabber for Business

Gain trust and grow your business with customer reviews.

From the business

Bid on auctions and save. All auctions start at $0 with no minimum price reserve. Everything must go! DealDash is the fair and honest bidding site. Founded in 2009, millions of bidders have enjoyed Deal Dash auctions since.

Business History

Established in 2009, DealDash is the longest operating site of its kind in the United States. Before DealDash was founded, millions of Americans tried out 1st generation bidding fee auctions. These first generation auctions left many people with a poor experience.

After one such letdown experience, spending $50 on a pay-to-participate auction site with nothing to show for it, our founder decided to create a fair and honest alternative to bidding fee auctions, where losing bidders don’t have to lose the money they spent bidding. That is how Deal Dash was born in 2009. Today, over 1,000 brand named products are discovered and won by customers every day!

Bid in our online auctions to catch a deal and if you don't win the auction, you can buy it now and keep on bidding!
