I've been playing this since 2012 and have won many items. It's a great way to purchase items at a low cost.

I don't know what specific experience I experienced on 12/7, however, I have, over the years filled most of my gifting needs through my Deal Dash wins. The quality of the products have always been very good and there is something here for everyone. I have only had 1 or 2 hiccups over the years.but the staff is always very simpathetic and quick to make the situation right. I will continue to be one of Deal Dash's biggest fans!
The same people win all the time! They appear to have unlimited bids, and enter multiple auctions at once. Do not like the new format and doubt I will continue playing once my bids are gone. It's just too hard to win these days!
Deal Dash has the business sense to know the importance of direct feedback from their customers. For the betterment of the customer, and in the best interest of the company, they make smart business decision. The process can be a valuable tool if managed properly.

I had, to me, a major concern about the site and found that I just did not understand how it worked (I'm old, pre-computer sort of). They took great care in explaining everything to me in a very timely fashion in a way that I could understand, letting me know that they really do care about customer service.

I need to learn to be better new to Deal Dash. It's different from other sites that leave u hanging. They r helpful and friendly. Nice things to bid on Other sites don't try to giving a chance to get a few free bids. They have a better customer service. Better chances to win

Be forewarned... you may not actually get the item you pay for when selecting the 'But It Now' option.
I was bidding on an Apple iPod Touch, 5th gen in blue but did not win. Decided with the number of bids I had invested that I would use the 'Buy It Now' option to get the bids back, save on taxes and shipping. Well, well... to my surprise I received an Apple gift card in the mail (does not state this is an option anywhere on the website) for a NANO and stated the card stated the taxes were covered. Now, I was skeptical on how the taxes would be covered if the value was $399. They were not. I ordered the item I thought I purchased online and paid an extra $35 in taxes. I should have just done this from the get go and would have saved myself the aggravation and rise in blood pressure.
I have no intention of using this website again. An old-fashioned bait & switch tactic.

While checking out the website for DealDash, I inadvertently ended up making a purchase on my credit card. I really didn't know what I was doing and emailed their service department to request a refund. Within 2-3 days I received a positive response to my request and the refund. Thanks for your prompt service.

I signed up for an account just to see what it was all about. I got the confirmation email at 8:13 saying your account is active. I received an email at 8:14 as a receipt that I purchased 600 bids for $72 even though I hadn't even had the chance to view my account. I did reach out to customer service and they did a transaction reversal since I never actually made a purchase and they were fast to respond and then sent me an email with our chat transaction. So that so far is the only plus. I still have not received the money back but as soon as I do. I will be deleting the account ASAP and watching closely on my bank account to make sure no more money is taken from me.

Hi Ashlyn, I'm happy to hear our Happiness team was able to cancel the accidental purchase for you. Our team is available 24/7 for all our users :)
I am annoyed with myself for not having looked at these reveiews before buying the pack of bids for $36. After trying for a few items and not winning any, all I have to show for my efforts is a loss of $36! You will save more by being a smart shopper and buying what you want from a reputable merchant.

Deal Dash is a great way to pick good products. Over the years I have won a number of different actions. I even won a Bike. There are a number of ways to win free bids. Just logging in each day and placing a bid will earn you bids. If you give a review you earn bids. There is a timer at the bottom which keeps track how long you are in first place and when the bar is full you earn bids. You can also exchange items you have won for bids. Best Action site I have seen online

I don't really believe in this form of online gambling, but if you are going to play the slot machine bigdeal is a little more fair I think that most of these auction sites. Read about them on techcrunch

I don't like buying bids, not wining anything, It's not fun if you can't win something, A big waste of money. Good for you, Bad for me! You do n't even have that much to bid for. I use to win some times, now I end up buying the thing I bid on. Tried of that.

This site couldn't be better managed, A customer service that makes you feel loved and appreciated. And the most impressive is a website, long in explaining how great they are and how they would never take your money... Don't know about you but my life experiences tell me this website is all the bad things it claims not to be. Why would they even take the time and money to battle all the bad news up front? Simple. This is a site that is dedicated to drawing you in and sucking your money either through the enormous amount of bids that you have to pay plus the cost of the product.
DO YOURSELF A SIGNIFICANT FAVOR - DON'T GET EMBROILED WITH DEALDASH.COM! Your life will be much happier and your wallet much thicker.

Hi Albert, thank you for your review. I'm sorry to hear of your feedback about DealDash. We offer a money back guarantee on the first bid pack purchase along with a second chance guarantee, in which the bids are returned from your first bid pack if an auction has not been won. Please reach out to our support team at support@dealdash.com so we can further assist you if you have an account on DealDash.
Deal Dash is a fair site and I like your fast free shipping. However you should change the name to Deal Crawl not Dash. Most of your auctions take a long time to end. Some sites end the bidding for people that make enough bids to reach the retail price. Letting people pay more than retail is bad for them and unfair to the bidders. I say once to make enough bids to buy it then cut them off. Base the price of bids at 17 cents or even 15 cents because of free bids that are earned.

I have tried about six other penny auction sites and I am totally sold on DealDash as being the best penny auction site. DealDash bid price is very reasonable. It's BuyItNow option makes it totally risk free because it doesn't force you to buy the item plus a bunch of bids at regular price. DealDash has always, always, always treated me right. Word of advice to those who are not having success, winning requires a lot of patience and strategy. Set your limit, do the math and prepare to monitor and bid on your desired item patiently over possibly a long period of time. As a contest perk that DealDash runs on Facebook, winners can submit a photo for a chance to win a $500 gift card. Well, I was fortunate enough to be one of those winners, week 49.
Thank you DealDash for being a legit and generous penny auction site.
Sincerely,

Great tips of advice, thank you for sharing! Recommend to read this review for some tips to win auctions.
Not realizing that Canadians could not receive winnings on this auction I bought bids and they refunded all my purchases of my bids right the next day when I realized. They are an honest site and really fast and efficient when it comes to customer service and I hope one day I can participate on there site. Thanks M L

I have been lucky enough to win some great items on DealDash. A portable air conditioner that we have been looking at to buy. A beautiful picture for one of my granddaughters, an old timey clock for daughter, Bluetooth speaker for husband, backpack, jewelry, pillow and silverware for other grandchildren and great grandchildren. Thank you DealDash!

I say this because although my issue was addressed in a timely manner I am very displeased with the results. I bid and lost on a $379 messenger bag and after I purchased it the zipper broke. I am very unhappy with the quality of this item and after expressing this I was not able to return it since the "grace" period passed. I could spend the same on a top designer bag and if the zipper broke there would be no issue with a refund

It's ok but when it comes up to the ending second it like takes forever to until another bid where count down from 10 goes extremely fast, other wise very competive bidding not like another site I go on you need to advertise better different approach your losing customers not to be negative as soon as my bids are gone I'm unsubscribing. Sorry it was fun

I was bidding not knowing that each bid took money away from my card. I was under the impression that if i don't win the bid I still have money. But to my dismay each bid cost me. The meter at the bottom encouraged you to get a level or something. I was just kind of lost. And to pay 34 dollars and have nothing to show for it, wow. Never again.

Hi Rhuesel, sorry for the misunderstanding. Bids are purchased in packs of different sizes, and in advance, so each bid placed does not charge or remove money from your card. If you don't win the item, you have the option to buy it at regular price to get both the item and your bids back.
We'd like to give you a second chance therefore have returned 200 bids to your account to try again! If you have any questions just email our customer support team and we'll be happy to help you.
Kudos to DealDash on a brilliant and addictive product. As a fellow software dev I can appreciate that.
While *technically* not a scam, don't bother unless you have unlimited money and time to game the system because that's what happens.
Much like the ticket brokers, you will find yourself battling with players with unlimited resources who probably end up just relisting on the same DealDash site or eBay at best.
I just got suckered into trying it again after staying away for 2+ years and it's gotten even worse. You will see the same scoopers showing up in EVERY auction you get into and you just can't compete with their buying power.
Sure. Some great stuff goes for cheap. But unless it's something total crap, you almost certainly will not win.
Even if you avoid getting suckered into an auction early and refer to the minimum sell price from past history, you still usually get clipped at a price lower than what previously was the lowest sell price which in itself is suspect.
Bottom line. You have plenty of money and time fine. Drop at least 1000 bids on the item you want at 75% of the most recent lowest purchase price, and cross your fingers and probably lose anyways. But the manufactured suspense can be enjoyable if you have the time.
Tip for consumers:
If you have all day and unlimited financial resources knock yourself out, but scoopers going to grab all the amazing deals so don't expect that $2 MacBook anytime soon.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us Kevin. I'm sorry to hear you did not enjoy your DealDash experience. We have thousands of extremely loyal customers who have been with us for years, have scored countless incredible deals, and LOVE the intense, strategic, pay-to-bid auction model that we offer. Even when including the cost of bids and the final price paid, the vast majority of auctions are bought for less than retail price. How can that be true? Well, brands love working with DealDash because we can quickly liquidate their inventory without destroying their pricing power. You can view some of our great recent wins here:https://www.dealdash.com/winners and if there's anything we can do to improve your DealDash experience, please reach out to us so we can further assist right away!
The site has gotten really bad with to many overbidding the value of the item. Ex. 456 bids for a $25 gift card. There should be a limit when a person bids more than the value of the product, then it automatically cuts them out and make them decide wether or not to purchase the item. There is rarely any good deals anymore.

Bid on auctions and save. All auctions start at $0 with no minimum price reserve. Everything must go! DealDash is the fair and honest bidding site. Founded in 2009, millions of bidders have enjoyed Deal Dash auctions since.
Established in 2009, DealDash is the longest operating site of its kind in the United States. Before DealDash was founded, millions of Americans tried out 1st generation bidding fee auctions. These first generation auctions left many people with a poor experience.
After one such letdown experience, spending $50 on a pay-to-participate auction site with nothing to show for it, our founder decided to create a fair and honest alternative to bidding fee auctions, where losing bidders don’t have to lose the money they spent bidding. That is how Deal Dash was born in 2009. Today, over 1,000 brand named products are discovered and won by customers every day!
Bid in our online auctions to catch a deal and if you don't win the auction, you can buy it now and keep on bidding!
We're very sorry to hear you are not enjoying your DealDash experience. We do have a wide range of items available on DealDash including various gift cards, electronics such as iPhones, Nintendo Switches, and PS5s; and Kitchen appliances such as Mixers and Ice-cream makers; and even cars! Please let us know which items you would like to see on DealDash, and we will be more than happy to assist! We also offer a money back guarantee on your first bid pack purchase, so you can try DealDash risk-free!
