I've been playing this since 2012 and have won many items. It's a great way to purchase items at a low cost.

Deal Dash allows me to be able to give gifts to friends and family all year long for little out of pocket expenses. I am truly glad I joined and I am always recommending it to others.

I have won a lot on this site as well as spent hundreds on buy it now deals... my issue though is you can only purchase the amount of bids. They want you to buy... sometimes I would just like 25 or 50 bids... your not given that option... also bid stomping is outrageous on the site and a lot of people have no info listed so it makes you wonder if they work for deal dash and are just trying to increase the bids to get more money and lets not forget those people who think paying $16 for a $10 gift card is a good deal... hello... since when is spending $6 more then the actual value of an item, not to mention the $2 or $3 you spent on the bids you used a good deal? I once bought an item to get my bids back and the item advertised its value at $8 but when I went to check out I was being charged $12. They said it wasn't their fault but that of the merchandiser... isn't it their job to make sure they are advertising the right price? I once saw a $1000 Walmart gift card go for $2200. 00 (it was free week so the winner only paid. 01 for it plus what bids they used) but if you multiply that ******* bids by the least amount of what a bid cost say. 13 cents deal dash made $28,600 off that one card just in bids. Once they got you hooked though you are done for... you can get some good deals but you also spend a lot of money!
Tip for consumers:
consider what the item will cost you by including what each bid cost and also be respectful and don't stomp others bids... give everyone the opportunity to get free bids..

My son made charges on my credit car without my permission. He didn't realize what he was doing on this site. Thanks to your support team my charges were reversed within 5 minutes. Tina

Everyone I spoke to was very nice and helpful regarding my issue. It was a little hard to find any information regarding who to contact in order to make some changes on my account.

I was shipped a faulty pressure washer and needed assistance for the return of the item and it has been returned for a correct unit to be sent back to me

Do not enjoy website. Cannot win. People spend all their time buying bids so they can outlast and outbid people who buy bids at regular price to buy items not bids

I made a mistake in the bidding process and pushed the wrong button by mistake that could have cost me $$, and it was taken care of by the support team.

Enjoy the winning. It's to bad we can't text the other players. I recently had a problem with a delivery and customer service was very helpful and the issue was resolved

I have discovered that DealDash is very helpful. Especially for someone who feels at a loss. I didn't check their answer as soon as I should have. I will keep trying.

Love the site just hope that a solution can be found about the jumpers, some sort of penalty, because the rest of us are being penalized. Other than that awesome site!

I really don't think this is going to work out for me. It has made me extremely nervous. I thought I would enjoy it, but I find myself grinding my teeth.

Hi Diane. Sorry to hear you did not enjoy your experience. Here are some top customer voted bidding tips:
1. Bid only on items you like.
2. Focus on one auction at a time.
3. Decide in advance how many bids you will use in the auction (keep to this limit).
4. Use Buy it Now if you don't win to get your bids back and the item
5. Keep to a budget
Please let us know if there's anything else you need. We'll be happy to help.
The email was full of information that was very helpful and helped to clarify what I had read... and provided further understanding. Navigating the Bid Buddy was made to seem easy!

Since I am new to the experience I really appreciate the help I received. I have never been on a penny auction, just saw the ad on the tv and thought I would try. Thanks again for your consideration.
Date of experience: April 9, 2014
About five years ago I tried a different penny auction site and after reading all the information I decided to give it a try. Well it just was NOT a good experience so as far as I was concerned I was done with penny auction sites taking my money with nothing in return; not even fun. But then after seeing an ad on TV for dealdash.com my husband and I decided that I would just check it out but we weren't really expecting anything good.
First I read everything available on the site including information about the BIN (Buy It Now) option and always no charge for shipping. Then I watched the bidders for a couple of days before I felt comfortable enough to actually buy some bids plus there was an item I had planned to purchase for retail from another online site coming up for bid so I figured maybe I could win it for a lower price than I was planning on paying.
Well since that first bidding experience in July 2013 every time we've wanted to purchase an item the first place we've checked is dealdash.com. If the item was available we've either won the item or used the BIN option. Oh yes and when we lose an auction and use the BIN option we receive all the bids we used on the lost auction back into our account. So how great is that! All those bids are ready to be used on the next item we hopefully want to WIN but if not we will very joyfully BIN.
And last but not the least good thing about our experience with dealdash.com is the staff that we have experienced have been very responsive and willing to make the situation right.

Nice message! Thank you for the great review. We wish you a happy Thanksgiving and all the best in the up-coming auctions! Sincerely, Dave
You can spend hundreds of dollars or even thousands buying points to compete with others for a win. Be cautious!

Hi Jean, thank you for your review! We certainly agree that bidding in the auctions does require careful planning, as it can sometimes get competitive and you might not always win the auction. That's why we have the "Buy It Now" option if you don't win an auction. This feature lets you purchase the item at the standard retail price, and in return, you get all the bids you used on that auction back, plus the item gets shipped to you free of charge! If you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out to us at support@dealdash.com. We're available 24/7 to assist you. Happy bidding and we look forward to hearing from you!
First, I did not really trust the process and I did not understand how people win on this app. From day to day, my love for this app grows. Currently, I see it as a hobby and I won many prices!

Happy Bidding!
This is definitely more like gambling than bidding in an auction. The house always wins and they're making a killing. Let me break it down for you. Bid's cost $0.60 each, and the bid for an item (lets say a $500 gift card and 250 bids) starts at $0.01. The item finally sells 6,620 bids later to one lucky individual for $66.20 plus $0.60 for each bid he\she placed. One individual wins, while all other participants lose. DealDash grosses $4,038.20 for the item ($66.20 for the sale price and $3,972 from the losers who bid and lost). Yeah you can get your bids back if you choose to pay the "buy it now" price of $650, but then all you've managed to do is spend another $150 in bids. That is of course if you have $650 to just drop on a whim. Not everyone was counting on having to do that or is capable for that matter. The real losers are the ones who were fooled into believing that they could win a $500 gift card for only $66.20 AND win their bids back in the process (Gambling). Poor fools believe they could win just like "rplace77" is advertised to have done on 12/6/2015 when he/she won the Walmart gift card and 250 bids for only $66.20. WOW what a deal right? Granted there is a trick to learning how to win, but the same goes for Black Jack and Poker. I had a feeling that this is the way DealDash worked, and I was right. I will be requesting my refund for the "trial period".

Hi Christopher. I am sorry to hear you didn't like our business model. While many people do save money it's important to remember this is entertainment shopping so most people shop here because they are looking for a more fun and exciting shopping experience. DealDash can't guarantee you will win however they do guarantee a full 90 day money back guarantee on your first purchase - no questions asked. Our support team has refunded your first purchase. Please let us know if there's anything else you need. We'll be happy to help.
Not good. Spent way too much money buying bids and didnt win anything good. Its just not worth it. The customer service on the other hand was good. But Dealdash isn't... sorry...

Hi Chirs, nice to hear our customer support team was good however very sorry to hear you did not win anything good. I'd like to talk with you to learn more about the experience you had and see how we can improve it. Would you be available for a phone call this week? Please send me a direct message and we'll set a time to talk. Looking forward to hearing from you!
David
I have enjoyed my interaction with DealDash. I like the way we can buy the item we bid on if we lose the deal.
I am staying away for awhile, because I spend too much money!

Anyone who thinks they are not legit is wrong. Not a scam just because you lose your money, it's gambling. Used to play on this site back when until it got so overrun with professional bidders you couldn't compete. Then DD changed up the merchandise they carry. They got away from the gift cards and useful home essentials. Advise, check amazon and such to price compare before you bid. DD buy nows are seriously over the top. Far East Oil painting for 1400. 00 when the same item is on Ebay for 299.00. Used to love playing DD in the past, had some great wins, now its just for ppl who want waste money.
Yes, DD your site is seriously over run with professional bidders. All one has to do is google the item they are looking to bid on and you can find the ebay and amazon stores that DD wins are being sold on. Why would I bid on a DD item retail of 1500. 00 when I can find that item someone won and is selling for 65.00. If you tracked them all down and deleted their accounts you would go out of business.

Hi Nancy,
Thanks for your comment. Please note that the value of the items is posted at the same price you will find on the official brand stores.
If you found another listing for the same item for a much lower price, it may be that someone is reselling items won on DealDash, which is against our terms and conditions. We have a full team in charge of monitoring and removing those listings. If you could send me the link, we´ll make sure it´s taken down.
Please send me more information when you have a chance. My personal email is adrian@dealdash.com
Best,
Adrian
Deal Dash really exceeded my expectations. Evrything that is listed is fair and cheap. I won a couple of items which were otherwise expensive for cheap. I am indeed a happy camper.

Bid on auctions and save. All auctions start at $0 with no minimum price reserve. Everything must go! DealDash is the fair and honest bidding site. Founded in 2009, millions of bidders have enjoyed Deal Dash auctions since.
Established in 2009, DealDash is the longest operating site of its kind in the United States. Before DealDash was founded, millions of Americans tried out 1st generation bidding fee auctions. These first generation auctions left many people with a poor experience.
After one such letdown experience, spending $50 on a pay-to-participate auction site with nothing to show for it, our founder decided to create a fair and honest alternative to bidding fee auctions, where losing bidders don’t have to lose the money they spent bidding. That is how Deal Dash was born in 2009. Today, over 1,000 brand named products are discovered and won by customers every day!
Bid in our online auctions to catch a deal and if you don't win the auction, you can buy it now and keep on bidding!
You are very welcome Tina. Let us know if you have any more questions or concerns.
