I've been playing this since 2012 and have won many items. It's a great way to purchase items at a low cost.

I don't know what specific experience I experienced on 12/7, however, I have, over the years filled most of my gifting needs through my Deal Dash wins. The quality of the products have always been very good and there is something here for everyone. I have only had 1 or 2 hiccups over the years.but the staff is always very simpathetic and quick to make the situation right. I will continue to be one of Deal Dash's biggest fans!
The same people win all the time! They appear to have unlimited bids, and enter multiple auctions at once. Do not like the new format and doubt I will continue playing once my bids are gone. It's just too hard to win these days!
I love the excitement of the auctions, your able to bid on as many items at once as you like. It's AWESOME!

Trust me when I say you will never win. The items you think your getting a good deal on are not true. Consider this you buy bids for $. 60/bid. You then place 200 bids on an item that mean yous have spent $120.00 to win. Then you pay the final sales price. I tell you this because I was betting on a thin king credit card holder. I used all 200 bids to win the item. The price of this item on their site is $45.00. I spent $120.00. And the item cost me $8.00. So now I am down $128.00. Lol they are scammers and we are idiots for thinking that is a good deal. Beware this site isnt what it seems. If you want an auction find a site that only makes you pay when you win.
DD- $20.00= 2,000 bids* $. 60/bid= $1,200.00 for an item that retail value is maybe $100.00. This company is making so much money.
The free auctions are an even bigger scam. They say they will pay the final price for the winner. Well an $800.00 Walmart gift card sold for $1,600. That means that idiots bid 160,000 bids for this card. 160,000 at $. 60 cents/bid = $96,000. After Dealdash pays the $800.00 for the gift card the company makes $95,200 from hard working Americans. If you win you lose and if you lose; you lose hard... Hmmmm Sounds like a Gamble to me. This site should be illegal.
And they respond to your negative reviews with suggestive ways of spending more money on their site. This company understands the scam it is pulling. I hope the Government smartens up and realizes they are allowing American citizens to gamble online, which I thought was illegal. The buy now feature is an even bigger scam. They want you to buy the items that are marked up higher than amazon prices to get your bids back. Its a joke the 5 star reviews are from the people that were lucky enough to get a really good deal on an item. I bet if they were to tell you how much they spent on the bids and the items they purchased; they could've bought a few of them. Also look up the retail price of each item online, DealDash increases the item price to make the gamble more enticing.
I like good deals and I am cheap but save your money and buy the items. Learn from my mistakes. And Deal Dash employees stop email stalking me to take down my posts.

Maybe Christmas isn't the best time to try Dealdash and I wasn't a savvy bidder, but I spent $36 and didn't winy anything. Waste of time and money.

It is one of the coolest app where you find good items, though the bids are chargable but you can get the bid cost at the very begining.

Love DealDash. I like bidding on things I plan to buy anyway so if I lose I get my bids back or get product cheaper when I win.

I have a hard time dealing with bid stompers. I usely leave the auction because of them. I think everyone should use bid buddy!
Date of experience: January 31, 2014
Thanks Roger for the feedback! Have you read some of the articles on DealDashReviewed.com? There's some good articles there which I recommend checking out when you have time which address bid stompers.
BidBuddy is a great way to go and always places your bid at the last second so is highly recommended to use. I'd like to help improve your experience. First step I would recommend is to start bidding on actual items instead of Bid Packs. Perhaps we could get on a phone call to talk further. Please send me a private message or contact me through support. Sincerely, Dave
A Little confusing for computer illiterate people / I understand a little more and may try again when I have time for their products.

Love the site, but I end up buying more than I win! Items are top notch. Will continue to use DealDash and try to WIN rather than BIN!

I started with DD a year and a half ago. Honestly, I won a total of 30 auctions within that time frame. Now, like a few others have stated, after doing the math, I only broke even. I was FORTUNATE! I put in $965.00 and won exactly the same amount in prizes. So, I don't consider myself a complete sore loser, but that goes to show that you DO NOT get the "deals" you think you are getting. Looking back in hindsight, I actually paid full price for all of the items I did win once I added up paying for the bid packages, the amount of auctions I lost, (YES, THAT'S MONEY, TOO) and the auction prices to pay on the auctions I did win. The money really adds up. Ok, so they have the "buy it now" option to get your bids back if you should lose the auction. My beef with that is: 1. I have reasons to believe that the retail price stated on most of their items are ridiculously overpriced. 2. If I could afford to pay the retail price, I would NOT be participating in the auctions to get a good deal in the first place. DUH! 3. Last but not least, why do people have to pay that CRAZY and astronomical BIN retail price in order to get their bids back? If you lose, why not get half your bids back or the value of the lost bids could be put toward the retail price of the item and you could just pay the difference like Quibids does? Look, think about it folks! This is a well thought out SCAM. Someone came up with this brilliant idea to scam people out of their money with the illusion they could get great deals in the convenience of their homes through online auctions. Well, I got PUNKED. I no longer participate in DD because I finally came to my senses! All I had to do was sit down and do a little mathematics to realize that I was being CONNED. I've said all I needed to say and now I will dash away.

Hi Devin,
We're so sorry to see you go. Thank you for your note. We don't have fake bidders but the bidders who bid on the more expensive items are very experienced, have developed very good strategies and they have a lot of bids to use, so it's true that they are sometimes hard to beat. However, it is important to highlight that DealDash does not provide them any type of advantage at all, and even limits their wins to 9 a week. We really strive to maintain a 100% fair and honest site.
While many people do save money it's important to remember this is entertainment shopping so most people shop here because they are looking for a more fun and exciting shopping experience.
If there's any more questions I can clarify, please don't hesitate to ask.
Recently I was exploring some budget web
Sites and I came up on Dealdash. I
Thought I was setting up my account and Iaaccidentally

It is indeed a genuine website because I myself have won quite a few products. But again, as another reviewer said, you need to have a lot of time and a lot of money because there is an increasing amount of headstrong people with deeper pockets who's ultimate motive is to win and not have a deal, and they will go to any extent just to win an auction. And NO they are not ROBOTS, they are just impossible people.
I also have some doubts about a MacBook that I won (yeah! I won a Macbook for $35 and spent about $100 worth bids) and it was delivered to me promptly from BestBuy (no complains there), the product was shipped end of May and delivered in June 2013. However to my surprise, when I checked the Macbook's 1 yr factory warranty on Apple's website using the computers serial number, it showed that my warranty is valid till Jan 2014! Where did 5 months go from the warranty? I use quite a bit of Apple products and they are very accurate about their Product warranty information so far. What I am wondering is that maybe Dealdash placed an order for a "re-furbished" Macbook to Bestbuy, because the warranty did tell me that the Macbook was not as new as of June 2013. It doesn't matter to me now because I sold that computer to get a higher config, but just wanted to point this out. As for genuinity, this website is indeed genuine. Go for smaller ticket products and you will be happy, and NO!, buying a humungous Bid Pack worth $500 dollars doesn't guarantee you a stellar win. I have seen people who have won 5000 Bid Pack dirt cheap, and then loosing all of it in a single auction (foolishly enough). You will have to play smart, and that requires plenty of spare time and sleepless nights and yes Patience which I don't think a lot of people have (including me). A word of wisdom- if you can spend this much money buying huge bid packs then you should probably go to amazon and buy the product at full retail, you will sleep well at night.

Hi Robin! Thanks again for your kind review. All items featured in our auctions are required to be brand new and shipped with the manufacturers warranty. I recommend you contact customer support with this information if you haven't already. While I realize you no longer have the product, it is worth looking into so that we can take measures to fix any issues with this order.
I am sooo addicted to this site I have won over 5 par of beats and have recieved everyone. I have recommended this site to all my friends!

Bid on auctions and save. All auctions start at $0 with no minimum price reserve. Everything must go! DealDash is the fair and honest bidding site. Founded in 2009, millions of bidders have enjoyed Deal Dash auctions since.
Established in 2009, DealDash is the longest operating site of its kind in the United States. Before DealDash was founded, millions of Americans tried out 1st generation bidding fee auctions. These first generation auctions left many people with a poor experience.
After one such letdown experience, spending $50 on a pay-to-participate auction site with nothing to show for it, our founder decided to create a fair and honest alternative to bidding fee auctions, where losing bidders don’t have to lose the money they spent bidding. That is how Deal Dash was born in 2009. Today, over 1,000 brand named products are discovered and won by customers every day!
Bid in our online auctions to catch a deal and if you don't win the auction, you can buy it now and keep on bidding!
Hi Don. Please note that we are constantly discounting on bid pack prices, so it is usually possible to buy bids for less than $0.60. You can check out our promotional bid pack prices here: https://www.dealdash.com/buybids
As stated on our website, DealDash uses the sales generated by selling Bids to fund the highly discounted auction prices. However, we recommend our users to keep to a budget and bid only on items they really like. If bidders don’t win the auction, they can buy the same item for its Buy it Now price using the Buy it Now feature, and get all the bids they used back for free. The pricing is competitive and many times you end up paying less than you would at a typical retail store. Plus, you still have a chance of winning those great deals. If you have any more questions, we have 24/7 Customer Support and we’ll be happy to help.
