I've been playing this since 2012 and have won many items. It's a great way to purchase items at a low cost.

I just signed up with DealDash and was browsing through the website unknowingly I bid on something. The charge went through my account I called Customer Service and was helped by Matthew D. Who was very understanding and gave me a refund. He also gave me a quick review on how things work on DealDash and let me keep the bidpoints that I bought by mistake. He also sent me some useful information with my refund notice. It was a pleasure dealing with him.

When first joined it was fun but now its turned into a greed circus with some bidders just running up prices was off site for a long time and once bids are gone gonna stay off until its made a little fair and threating bios are gone

For the most part, my experience has been good. The most irritable situation is when people insist on sitting on the bid button, eliminating our chances for free bids. They may not win but they cost us more for our bids, the cost of winning and make the experience tedious and wasteful. Sure, we can buy our bids back but that is not the reason for the auction. As you can see from my record, I don't bid online much because of this situation, it takes the fun out of it.

First time attempted to use and another auction website popped up (AtAuction) which I did not even notice until after I purchased a tablet from them and they sent me am 'email". Your customer service rep. Mimi was excellent with her help and response to the email I sent to you. Tlhankyou

If you are into penny auctions DealDash is the best! If you use common sense while bidding you can get some really good bargains. I have won TV'S Stand mixers, tools, toys you name it; I love the way they get the items out to you in a hurry and the shipping is free!

Congratulations on your auction wins and thank you for the 5 star rating, we greatly appreciate that. All the best in the up-coming auctions. Sincerely, Dave
It appears that those of us who made it a mission to close down this scam have been successful. It has been down for about a month, and it looks permanent. It should be. These are the worst of the scammers, with the worst fellow bidders in the universe - mean, nasty people with obnoxious screen names who have nothing else to do but push overbidding (we've always suspected these are bots - inhouse shills bidding you up). Stay far away. We hope it never lives again!

Deal Dash products aside, it's a good deal of fun. You try to develop a winning strategy and start bidding on the items that appeal to you. Sometimes your strategy works and other times it doesn't but once you start and commit to win it gets exciting. The great thing is Deal Dash will return your bids if you Buy it Now if you lose the item. That's incredible and it keeps you engaged hoping to win the next time.

Hi Jay,
Thank you for your kind review. Developing a winning strategy and using our Buy It Now feature are some great tips! We are happy to hear you are enjoying your DealDash experience and if you need anything, we are here for you 24/7! Happy Bidding :)
Dealdash is a great site for bidding on products that you want. If you don't win them, you can buy them at a reasonable price and get all of your bids back. It is a lot of fun and gives the opportunity for some great deals!

I have not won an auction yet using bid buddy. I have ended up buying a ton of gift cards using the BIN option, so I haven't lost my bids. Not sure yet if I like it or not. Takes a lot of time to participate.
Date of experience: January 31, 2014
Hi Karen, sorry to see the bad rating. The majority of auctions are won with the BidBuddy and we recommend using this because it places your bid at the last second and reduces the risk from manual bidding.
When looking at the last five auctions you won I see you won those using the BidBuddy so I'm a bit confused about your comment. I'm glad to see you're playing smart and only bidding on items you plan on buying anyway in case you don't win so you can get your bids back. I'm sure if you continue shopping this way you'll continue to win more auctions and hopefully will have a better experience. I'd be more than happy to set up a call with you to answer any questions you may have. Please feel welcome to send me a private message or contact me through support. Sincerely, Dave
Best bid site i know, i have won quite a few very good products, including a canon t3i camera for $8.80, luggage, 2 safes, printers, that i would never have bought because of the cost. Your siste is amazing.

I was unhappy about the bid buddy as it seemed to be bidding when not necessary. And I had chosen to use it expecting it to optimize my bids. Deal dash explained how the bidding works and I am happy for the quick response and now understand how it works. Very prompt response to my issue. Great customer service

I like this sight, I win all the time. I watched it a few hrs. Before trying it out, because only common sense tells you winning without research or learning the practices of the players, Is like jumping into a card game with a bunch of money when you have never played it expecting to win allot your first night. Before I finish this comment i will have won yet another item far below cost. I won a 369$ item last night for ten dollars total. 9 days into this month i have won near 3000 dollars with a 400 dollar investment. Watch the players like myself that win, without spending alot, a few minutes a day for a week or so BEFORE you try, and play against the ones that don't. Start small and let other players see you win and they are more hesitant to play you again on larger items(keep in mind lots of people watch!) can't tell you all my stategies but you learn your own. Good luck!

Deal dash has beginner auctions masked as regular auctions. To me, the intention seems clear. Have newbies win a few super easy auctions so that get a rush of excitement and adrenaline... buy a bunch more bids and waste them trying to repeat the first successes.
There is fine print about special auctions. Something no new player, or most other players, would see or comprehend.
To me, it's fraudulent that deal dash does not specifically identify these beginner auctions to its new players. It's much worse than simole bait and switch.

Hi Will. Thanks for your review. Beginner auctions have an educational purpose. They are useful for new users who just joined to learn how the auctions work and understand the bidding concept before stepping up against tougher competition.
They are indeed easier to win, since we don't have as many new users who just signed up at a given time.
I hope this helps clarify. If you have any more questions or comments, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Best,
Adrian

I was watching one of my favorite YouTubers and they had a sponsorship from this website. I entered the creator code, entered my card information (which is required to sign up I really should have seen it coming) but as soon as I reached the home page I got a notification from my debit card that $72 was charged to my account.
The creator code was 100 free bids
I'm a high school student working 8 hours a week as an apprentice, while trying very hard to help take care of my stepson.
I'm absolutely devastated to see next weeks gas money and entire paycheck just disappear from my account. $#*! these scummy bastards
I was signing up to check out the site because it seemed like a cool little website didn't expect to see $72 disappear from my account because I "purchased 1000 bids on signup"
I was offered no terms of service, it wasn't asked for, and I don't even recall seeing it on the page.
If you value your money stay away.

We're sorry for the trouble here. DealDash does operate on a pay to play model and the Youtube description should mention that the promo code adds 100 free bids upon the first bid pack purchase. Please send us an email to support@dealdash.com and we will be happy to issue a full refund right away.
Every issue or request I have made of Deal Dash, they have responded quickly and with excellent care. I am sure if they keep up this type of responsibility to the consumers, they will rise to the top of their market.

Nice to hear Jessie and thank you for the positive feedback. Great customer service and experience is very important to us and our customers expect it - and why shouldn't they. Sincerely, Dave
I have emailed Deal Dash on several occasions with general questions I did not know the answer to. I was very impressed with how fast I received a response. The responses have been very clear and easy to understand. Thank you.

I was trying to update my profile ad get a refund. During the process, i wound up being charged another 300 bids. DealDash gave me a refund for it as well as another credit I had on the books. Thanks DealDash

Deal Dash has always been very kind and fair and they help you in gaining more bidding points after you bid so long, giving you a chance to have a few extra bids for what you are bidding on. I have won a few bids and always received them in a timely manner.
Thanks deal Dish.

I purchased about 1000 bid in 200 increments. I feel I wasted my money over and over. I was so disappointed. I tried to use the advise of the support service member who contacted me but I still did not win anything. I just wanted to find good deals for Christmas presents for my grandchildren. I would have been better off if I had just sent my money at the store. I was told by the service representative "well its not for everyone" so it was a terrible experience for me.

Sorry to hear this Reta. A good tip when shopping with us is to always go for something you like and buy the item at normal price in case you don't win. This way you don't lose any bids because you get them back to try again. Plus you get your shopping done and a chance to get some really good deals along the way.
This is a very addictive site, so many products to choose from, with half price days, and free auctions, where you only pay 1cent for the item( plus the cost of the bids you used to get said item) and shipping is always fast and free! If there is to be a delay it is clearly stated on the item before you bid on it. Customer service has always been fast and friendly and fixes most problems very quickly. Can't say enough, love this site!

I needed to change my address. The customer service person was very helpful and changing my address was very easy. I also got information about the two items that I bid on, they have been sent in the mail. Since I have arranged a change of address at the post office that won't be a problem.

Waiting since 11/04/2012 for items, several items still pending several items now out of stock, don't understand out of stock, you posted the auction, I bid, I won I paid so I should get my item guess not on this site.
All are Christmas presents, and several past ship time that you post. Took from 11/24 to 12-03 to answer my e-mail and still didn't answer were are my giftcards

I was debited bids for auctions I didn't even bid on. Then there was another auction that said I bid over 50 times and I didn't. By the way they don't give clear details on the process before you purchase bids.
Okay if an item sells for $5 it takes 500 bids to reach this and at 50cents a bid thats $250 they pulled in for a $5 item, pretty sweet wouldn't you say? So I will stick with ebay where an item might sell for a higher amount but I don't throw a quarter away with every click of my mouse.

Hi M L., I'm very sorry to hear your disappointment. Whenever a BidBuddy is booked on an auction it places bids automatically for you. Could it be possible you may have unknowingly booked a BidBuddy on an auction to cause this? Please send an email to support@dealdash.com (attention to Dave) and I'll do my best to help improve your experience and verify what happened. DealDash also provides everyone with a 100% money back guarantee on your first purchase so we can also provide this to you since you are not satisfied. Thank you, looking forward to hearing from you soon.
After watching people who were not in before the 5.00 mysteriously appear (and look like they were there). I complained to the site. Now I am unable to use the remaining bids I have! Coincidence? I think not. Find another site people!... this is not as honest as it claims!

Bid on auctions and save. All auctions start at $0 with no minimum price reserve. Everything must go! DealDash is the fair and honest bidding site. Founded in 2009, millions of bidders have enjoyed Deal Dash auctions since.
Established in 2009, DealDash is the longest operating site of its kind in the United States. Before DealDash was founded, millions of Americans tried out 1st generation bidding fee auctions. These first generation auctions left many people with a poor experience.
After one such letdown experience, spending $50 on a pay-to-participate auction site with nothing to show for it, our founder decided to create a fair and honest alternative to bidding fee auctions, where losing bidders don’t have to lose the money they spent bidding. That is how Deal Dash was born in 2009. Today, over 1,000 brand named products are discovered and won by customers every day!
Bid in our online auctions to catch a deal and if you don't win the auction, you can buy it now and keep on bidding!
Hi Rita, thank you for the feedback and sorry to hear you're not having fun anymore. We try to interfere as little as possible as to how people can bid however we are monitoring bios more closely by screening all bios before being published so this should help cut down on any threatening bios. If you do see one that should be removed please feel welcome to send an email to our support team. We'd also love to hear any ideas as to how we can improve your experience. Sincerely, Dave
