I've been playing this since 2012 and have won many items. It's a great way to purchase items at a low cost.

So easy to see the dealdash is the Sucker land of online bidding sites. I ran from this one after going through the process of watching, bidding, and losing bids after seeing items being bid up above retail and the bidder spending more on bids than product. Paying Twice! Some bidders spend more on the bids rather than the item.

I at first did not understand the results of an answer I received until it was clearly explained to me by in the original message, so it is clear that people should NOT make an unrashional decision until they read the response received from the help people at least one good time, or a second time to make sure it was understood. It only takes a few extra seconds.

Not bad. Too many people overbid, so even if you are patient and play it right, you end up paying full price. It would be nice if you did as Quibids does and cut people off when their bidding exceeds the BIN price.

I've had a wonderful time winning things I know my family would like and it's a lot cheaper to win them on DealDash than to go buy them in the store. It's also warmer sitting in my house and winning the prizes!

I really enjoy the fact that I can Buy It Now when I don't win an auction and then get all my bids back to use to attempt to win again. I also enjoy earning free bids when the clock runs down and wish everyone would let that happen. I also enjoy the free shipping.

I have been using Deal Dash for over a year now. It is a legitimate site. You have to use your head and bid on things you want. I have gotten so many great deals from them and if it is something I didn't win, I can decide if I want to buy it now and get my bids back or walk away. Give it a chance before you know it. I love Deal Dash! And so do my grandkids. They benefit most with all my wins!

Thank you Tammi for the great feedback. If there's anything we can do to help improve your experience even more please don't hesitate to get in touch. Sincerely, Dave
First time users win easily and products are shipped quickly. However, once you pass your "first time bidders only" auctions, it is impossible to win. There are people (or bots) on there bidding for days on end. If you want to gamble the site is fun. If you want to gamble and buy the item at BIN the site is fun. If you are looking for a deal and to save money... nothing is as good as it seems :)

My experience has been that people seem to over bid on everything you put up for auction.
I have looked at APA and seen where a person bid well over 1000 bids on a 1000 bid auction. It seems that winning regardless of cost is the name of the game.
I do like your new bid auctions with BIN at 20 cents.
Would there be a way to limit the number of wins in a day., much like you do in a week? Say two wins a day and 3 a week with the higher value items and 3 a day and 6 a week with the others
Thank you

I had set up my bid buddy on a product. I then had computer issues and had to put it in the shop. When I got my computer back a month later, I realized that I had won that bid. The issue with that is that you have 2 weeks to p a y after you bid. I sent a request to customer support and they allowed me to pay for my win and receive my product. Phillipe was very helpful. I will continue to deal dash.

You have to realize you are paying for bids and they may cost you around 10 or 12 cents (taking into account free bids) so if you have to place 200 bids to buy something for $5.00, you have paid $25 to $30 before you are done. But it is clear in the rules. The problem is everything has an inflated buy it now price. The lady did not get a $5100 coffee table for $20, she got probably a $500 coffee table for $20 and maybe $100 of bids. Still some get lucky. You can't win bidding 20 bids for most things. Need to be in it to win it and you need to watch the jumpers and cheaters.

I was checking out site and bought by mistake bid points. Email Deal Dash right away letting them know I made mistake, and shortly after they emailed me back letting me know they refunded my full amount.

Glad we could assist Kevin!
Deal Dash is my first penny auction experience. In less than 4 months I have won over 40 auctions and have received some very good deals. The initial bid pack cost $36 for 60 bids. I always wait until the bids are on sale for 15 cents and buy them at that time. Deal Dash has a Buy It Now option, which allows you to buy the item and get all your bids back. It is very addicting and a lot of fun. If you are new to Deal Dash it is best to observe the auctions for a few days before bidding. Beware there are some bidders who overbid frequently. I actually have a list of bidders I avoid. Deal Dash customer service is great! Shipping is free and most items are delivered within a week. Gift cards take a little longer.

Taking the time to observe the auctions and being prepared to use the Buy it Now are great points of advice! Thank you Vicky!
DealDash is awesome. I had mailed my niece some items and forgot to change the address. I then had some large items for myself, and guess what they were being sent to my niece. I contacted DealDash and within minutes they corrected the shipping label and save a lot of anguish in getting it back to me in Michigan, before it got to Indiana.

I've been a member of DealDash since 11/12/13. I won some and lost some but always have fun and learn something new every day. Customer service is top notch. The quality of the items is A1, the FREE shipping is FAST, safe, capable and accurate, and there hasn't been one mistake made by DealDash yet. They make sure you're satisfied or they go above and beyond to fix whatever might have disturbed you. My partner first told me about DealDash after having seen one of their TV commercials. I was skeptical to say the least but after about two weeks of researching the site I decided to give it a try and boy am I glad I did. I've won some amazing items at ridiculously low prices, like my very first win just before Christmas: a 50" LED Samsung HDTV that we are just thrilled with and we got for less than $72.00. If you haven't tried DealDash yet, what are you waiting for?!

I have used DealDash since October and have not yet won a bidding contest, which causes me to wonder whether to proceed. For what I have spent thus far I could have purchased at least one of the items I bidded for. I have not been able to bid all through the night 24 hours X 3 days in some cases. I need to sleep, eat, work, etc., which places me at a disadvantage. I've used the BidBuddy, but that just uses up my bids in a pre-determined bid cycle with other players... and does not do the job either. It's fun to bid, but it would be more fun and would sustain my interest if I could win periodically. For the hundreds that I have spent thus far, it hasn't been much fun to continually lose bidding contests.

Hi William, thank you for the review and sorry to see you have not yet won an auction. After reviewing your bidding history it appears you've used the high majority of your bids on the most popular, high valued items like the Samsung Galaxy tablets, laptops and desktop computers. I would like to recommend utilizing your Buy it Now option to get the desired item plus your bids back. This helps eliminate the risk of bidding by giving you another chance. You may also want to try a different bidding strategy and go for some of the lower range items.
We can understand that if you don't win, it's probably not very fun either. There's a site called DealDashReviewed.com where experienced bidders are writing helpful articles about bidding. Check it out and try implementing the bidding tips. If you have any questions don't hesitate to contact our support team for assistance. I hope you will win an auction soon! Sincerely, Dave
Don't get hooked on this game. It's real easy to do, In the beginning they will let you win some small items($10 range) to reel you in, but that's about it. Once you win a couple of small items, they no even allow you to bid on them any more. You have to bid on the more expensive ones. I don't believe they present the factual history of what items are being sold for. When you look at the winning history of a certain item, the current auction prices for the same item aren't even close in price. It's a game of Bait and Switch. The site is good for some expensive entertainment, but that's about it.

Hi Jay. Thanks for your comment and sorry to hear that you did not have a good experience with us. Please note that all of our winners are real people with real deals. We have a maximum standing of A+ by the BBB, and are periodically audited by independent third parties. Please let us know if you have any more questions, we'll be happy to assist you. Congratulations on the 5 items you've won!
In the past you were able to find "deals", now as others have said I have used the buy it now option for gift cards as they are truly the value they say they are. I don't like the fact that the same bidders win over and over again! It would be nice if dealdashl limited lower item wins per month and still kept their weekly limit. It also seems like now there are more bid packs for auction and it would be nice if the Buy it now price reflected the current sale price on bids instead of the. 60 "retail" price. Most people just lose their bids on those, because in the end it's cheaper to spend the money on sale bids. Wish a few things could change to make it better for all gamblers!

Gift cards are some of the most popular items on the site and that's so true. You get a chance at winning one at a good deal but if not you can just buy it and get the gift card + all the bids used in the auction back for free. Most other items on the site come from our partners Best Buy and Sears so the retail price of the item is matched to them. Good feedback, thanks for sharing. Sincerely, Dave
A mistaken identity from a tracking number was made regarding a return. I questioned the email correspondence. I received a quick apology email reply, and a cache of free bids for the inconvenience it caused me. This was not expected and over the top.

I went to the sight and did not read how the process works. I bid and was charged for bids I purchased. I contacted support and they gave me credit back to my charge card. Now that I understand I may join the "fun"

Hi Greg, we'll be happy to welcome you back if you decide to give us a try.
This is one of the first auction sites that started this entire crazy penny auction movement. They are legit from the point of view if you win, you do get the item. You should still understand this is a form of gambling and not an auction.

Love the site. Great deals are possible if you bid wisely and only on things you are willing to buy if you don't win the auction. They give your bids you used back to you. I also love the fact that their bids you can purchase are at lower prices at times.
Date of experience: October 30, 2013
Good advice Carla. If people only bid on things they are willing to buy at normal price in case they don't win, it removes the risk of them losing their bids because you always get your bids back when using the Buy it Now. Have fun in the up-coming auctions. Thank you, Dave
I didn"t order and got charged. They are refunding this and the initial price that I paid to register with Dealdash. If I knew how to use it, I would bid and hope to purchase an item that I want. I am gonne check into it.

My experience with Deal dash was very good. I never had a problem when I won a bid getting my items in a timely manner. I have suggested this site to a few friends as it was suggested to me by a good friend of mine.

I sent an email in at 3:55 AM and certainly did not expect a reply until later the day or maybe the next day.
I was shocked to get a reply email at 3:58 AM agreeing with my request.
Certainly the quickest and easier Customer Service

I can't believe the things I have won on DealDash. My closet is filling up with the most fabulous gifts for birthdays & Christmas gifts for my 7 granddaughters. These items are things that I wouldn't ordinarily afford.
In addition, the service department is awesome for any problems you may encounter.

Bid on auctions and save. All auctions start at $0 with no minimum price reserve. Everything must go! DealDash is the fair and honest bidding site. Founded in 2009, millions of bidders have enjoyed Deal Dash auctions since.
Established in 2009, DealDash is the longest operating site of its kind in the United States. Before DealDash was founded, millions of Americans tried out 1st generation bidding fee auctions. These first generation auctions left many people with a poor experience.
After one such letdown experience, spending $50 on a pay-to-participate auction site with nothing to show for it, our founder decided to create a fair and honest alternative to bidding fee auctions, where losing bidders don’t have to lose the money they spent bidding. That is how Deal Dash was born in 2009. Today, over 1,000 brand named products are discovered and won by customers every day!
Bid in our online auctions to catch a deal and if you don't win the auction, you can buy it now and keep on bidding!
Hi Jim, if you have not won an auction with your first bid pack you can get those bids back for a second chance. You're also eligible for a refund on your first purchase if you're not satisfied. It's difficult to know what bidders actually spend because of the many ways to get free bids and chances to win bids. It's very rare to see the final selling price go above the cost of the item and if it does it's usually because it's a special auction where the winner does not have to pay the final price. If you'd like to discuss more or have any questions please send me a message. Sincerely, Dave
