I've been playing this since 2012 and have won many items. It's a great way to purchase items at a low cost.

I HAVE BEEN ENJOYING DEAL DASH FOR TWO YEARS AND HAVE NOTHING BUT PRAISE FOR THE SITE. THE AUCTIONS ARE GREAT FUN AND YOU CAN WIN SOME WONDERFUL THINGS. THEY ARE REALLY PROMPT ABOUT SENDING THE MERCHANDISE. ONE TIME A ITEM WAS NOT AS DISCRIBED AND I NOTIFIED CUSTOMER SERVICE WHO BENT OVER BACKWARDS TO MAKE IT RIGHT. YOU CAN'T ASK MORE OF A AUCTION.

I decided to check it out tonight - was scammed BIG TIME. When you sign up, your credit card number is required and i thought it was just for security reasons, like ebay - i did NOT agree with buying anything and 5 minutes later, i had 36 bucks taken out of my account just for SIGNING UP. Thankfully I used a Paypal cc, so all I am doing is going to Paypal, explaining it and since my "purchase" was not authorized, I will get my money back. BEWARE. NOTHING sells for 1 dollar like they advertise - and apparently, even though you pay 36 bucks to JOIN, you are not allowed on any auction either - only some lame ones without the "no new bidders" sign. Stick to Ebay - these people are not honest!

Hi Ariane, you were not scammed. In order to participate in the auctions it is required to buy bids. You purchased a $36.00 bid pack, however don't worry. We have a 100% money back guarantee on your first purchase and a great support team to help answer any questions you may have. Just email customer support and inform them you would like a refund. Sincerely, Dave
I greatly enjoy the site. It'd nice to find a site that is "real" and you actually have a chance to win or you can at least buy it now to recoup. That is so important to me to know what is the price up front so I can know my exit strategy if I do not win or when to call it quits and just but the item that I always know I can do. I very much like the gift cards and would like you to increase the variety if at all possible. I'm telling everyone I possibility can about the site, but it sure would be nice to have something I could hand them to help them remember it and the web address when they get to their computer. Your prompt service on purchases is great! Maybe see if you can work out a deal to have gift certificates for travel, ie airlines, and US trains. Maybe even some hotel chains or theme parks. Have you thought of getting Geek Squad tech support gift cards or anti virus software? I may have missed it, but think about having just an area for a suggestion site to give you ideas. Keep up the good work

Hi Diana. I apologize for any inconveniences or delays.
I have reviewed your account information and can confirm that your refund was successfully processed n 11//28. Typically the processing time is no more than 3-5 business days, but if you have not received your refund I would recommend contacting your bank directly.
I have had surgery recently and DealDash has been my entertainment throughout it. I have gotten some very nice products and the thrill of competing for them was great.

Thank you so much for your 5 star review Vicki! We are wishing you all the best for your recovery and many more thrills moving forward!
There has Never been a time where I had to call Support Team and the Problem was resolved in ASAP or as fast that could be done according to the Problem, but they did their best. It's always a Pleasure to call Dash no matter how upset I am because with 5-10 minutes we are laughing while they are Working Hard to fix the problem. They are all a Great Group of Employees who I now call My Family.
Thank You Deal Dash for Pairing a Great Bunch, they are TRUELY Awesome.

Hi Kevin! Thanks for sharing your positive review! We're glad you're having a top-notch time. We're always here should you require any assistance. Happy bidding!
I decided to sit down one night and watch and bid on an auction. One lasted over 4 hours. The people that win must live on their computers. The buy it now price was $100,25%, over what I could buy if for. I hope this review makes people take a long hard look at the time and money needed to win. The math in time and money will not work out for most people. It's not a scam. It's just not worth it. I personally believe that many of the glowing reviews are employees. I'm glad I had not invested much money before I gave up. When it costs only. 60 or. 30 cents to bid you can have 100 people who bid using up $10 of their money at. 60 cents per bid that is 16.6 bids per person. Each bid adds 10 seconds. 16.6 times 10 seconds means each person adds 166 seconds to the auction. Times 100 people is ******* seconds. That is over 4 hours. Many more will bid and just give up before the new bidders are locked out. That will add more time. Do your math. I just can't see how this would work for the average person. Who has 4 hours to spend to save $10 on a $40 item. Look at the bids if an item is up to $300 that is 10 seconds for every penny on the $300. That's 30,000 pennies and 30,000 times 10 seconds. People at home with bots will kill you trying to win. A $300 item will take you 3 days to win. This is not for your average person.
Tip for consumers:
you need to do the math

Hi Kelly,
Thanks for your review. I'd like to clarify that people bidding at home are not using bots. What they use, is our bidBuddy tool. It's an automated bidding tool that's used by the most successful bidders on DealDash. In fact, BidBuddy's are responsible for the majority of the auctions won on the site.
The BidBuddy will places bids for you when the clock is about to hit zero - the best time. If other bidders are placing "single" bids, the BidBuddy won't waste any of your bids. It will only place a bid when the auction is about to get sold to someone else. And if you win the auction any remaining bids will be returned to you.
It's a great tool to use especially when you can't be at your computer (as you mention in your review). It's also the best way to stay in the auctions, and conserve your bids. By using the BidBuddy, you dramatically increase your chances of winning auctions! I hope you’ll find the tool useful.
Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
Good luck in your next auction.
I LOVE DEALDASH ITS IS FUN AND YOU CAN GET SOME GREAT DEALS. BUT WATCH WHAT YOU ARE DOING. STUDY A LITTLE BEFORE YOU BID. YOU CAN GET MORE IN IT THAN IT WORTH. KEEP UP WITH YOUR BIDS AND HOW YOU PAY. I FOUND THIS OUT THE HARD WAY.

THEY HAVE SHILL BIDDERS (PROBABLY EMPLOYEES) ON THE SITE. THEY'LL LET YOU WIN OCCASIONALLY. BUT YOU AREN'T GOING TO WALK AWAY WITH ANYTHING SIGNIFICANT I GUARANTEE YOU! NO MATTER WHAT STRATEGY YOU EMPLOY YOU CAN'T BEAT THEM. I BET NO ONE WILL SEE THIS REVIEW. GO TO FACEBOOK, YOUTUBE ETC. DON'T GET TOOK LIKE I DID!
Date of experience: July 14, 2017
Hi Don,
We get proactively audited by Ernst & Young to ensure that there are no shill bidders, employees, or bots in the auctions. We guarantee that all bids are placed by real users.
We can provide the audit document if you want to take a look. If you want it, feel free to email me on adrian@dealdash.com
I look forward to hearing from you.
I've been using them for a week or so. First night, I won some cheap auctions (slightly less value than my buy in) but nothing since. I suspect the first wins are to draw you in. Overall, it's still been fun, just don't fall for the commercials; you aren't going to "win" big without spending bigger.
**Update 4/10/14: I have "won" a couple more auctions since my last review; and flat out purchased a few other things. I've still been more financially beneficial to them than they have to me, but I've come close to breaking even. I'm still waiting for most of my wins/purchases to show up (only gotten 2 out of 13 so far), so I'll update if there are any issues on that end. I don't feel like the site is a scam or rip-off, but you are not going to come out on top. Just like in Vegas, the house always wins. It is fun, though, and worth giving it a shot on a limited basis if you have money to throw away. Just don't expect to win anything expensive if you don't toss hundreds or thousands of dollars into it. I'll probably drop another hundred or so over the next couple of weeks to see if I can get something better than a 10$ gift card or 40$ fryer, and if I do, I'll eat crow and update my reviews.

Deal Dash is NOT an auction, because an auction does not charge you for making a bid (unless you are the highest bidder). Deal Dash is like a raffle, where you have to PAY to buy a chance.

Hi Saralyn, thank you for your review. We're truly sorry that our service didn't meet your expectations. We highly value your feedback and are eager to address your concerns. We do not hide the fact that we are a pay-to-participate auction site, and our business model is a rather unique twist on auctions where you pay to bid. We're audited yearly and have done several 3rd party audits of the auction bidding itself. However, we understand that it may not be for everyone, so all customers are entitled to a 100% refund on their first purchase of bids. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out to us directly, we are available 24/7!
I started on Dealdash a couple years ago and they were very busy and I did not receive my winnings for a few months. But when they came it was neat. I know now you are better.

I have not purchased or won an auction in a while but do go in to see if there is any thing that I am interested in. I enjoy deal dash. I would give it 4 stars.

Great site... the bidding is fun. Items come quickly to your door as described and shipping is free... even on big things. Great deals to be had if you are a smart bidder. I love the site.

I my first 2 auctions for 1 cent. Since then I haven't even come close to winning. I think I was hooked into believing I would win often. That's not how it is

Hi Sue,
When looking at your bidding history we see you’ve won $85 worth of gift cards plus an outdoor grill set. Based on your recent bidding history we think you can improve your chances of winning more auctions by changing your strategy just a little bit.
The high majority of the auctions you are bidding on, you are only placing a couple bids, therefore reducing the odds of winning. One tip would be to have more focus and concentrate your bids on one particular item rather than a few bids on multiple different items. By doing this you’ll increase your chances of winning and if you don’t win, you’ll have set yourself up for a good option to buy it now and get your bids back.
Sue, we hope this bidding tip will help you out. We would love to talk with you more and learn how we could improve your experience and see you win more auctions.
Sincerely,
David
Through no fault of the shipper I often have problems. This is a rural area that does not have street delivery. I appreciate the way this matter has been handled, with direct contact.

My experience turned out bad. Not the fault of Deal Dash. I lost 63 bid when someone clean out my checking account. I had bought something
From the Internet and they did it.

Your auctions are easy to understand, but when accidents or mistakes happen, it is great to get help to fix them. I do wish you had a customer service phone to help quicker.

Bid on auctions and save. All auctions start at $0 with no minimum price reserve. Everything must go! DealDash is the fair and honest bidding site. Founded in 2009, millions of bidders have enjoyed Deal Dash auctions since.
Established in 2009, DealDash is the longest operating site of its kind in the United States. Before DealDash was founded, millions of Americans tried out 1st generation bidding fee auctions. These first generation auctions left many people with a poor experience.
After one such letdown experience, spending $50 on a pay-to-participate auction site with nothing to show for it, our founder decided to create a fair and honest alternative to bidding fee auctions, where losing bidders don’t have to lose the money they spent bidding. That is how Deal Dash was born in 2009. Today, over 1,000 brand named products are discovered and won by customers every day!
Bid in our online auctions to catch a deal and if you don't win the auction, you can buy it now and keep on bidding!
Thank you Carol for the great feedback!
