Just about all the clothes I have won and received have been too small regardless of their being marked large. I am a large for all the clothes I buy so something is wrong with the sizes you received. Other than that, I love the items I have won on your site.
I hadn't been on in a while so I thought I would try it again. It's still exactly the same. No fair rulings back and forth. The same people win all the time.
I accidentally purchased $70 worth of bids. I thought my charge card was going to be "on record" if I wanted to purchase. I have never done this before, so I don't know how it is supposed to work. I asked for a refund and it was promptly returned with a very polite email giving me $X amount of bids to try the system to see how it works! I haven't had time yet, but I am looking forward to bidding. I think I might like it and save $. I will most likely join then. Thank you for your generosity.
I am writing this to anyone who enjoys penny auctions there are a lot of scam auctions out there DealDash is not one of them. They have so many auctions going that I was able to scoop items up for only a penny my first day. Also after an auction reaches 5.00 no new bidders can bid so no one can jump in at the last minute and steal an item you have been bidding on for an hour or more.

Cancelled my account without warning and never refunded money for purchased bids. Spent over $60 opening the accounts by buying bids. No additional support was offered. When I attempted to call to resolve the issue the representative used profane language and hung up on me.
I love Deal Dash! When they make mistakes they inform their customers and apologize. I was very impressed with that. The only thing I wish Deal Dash would do is offer more quality products (other than electronics) for auction, ie, bread pan, canned air, and desk fan to name a few. But, I am sure they make some people happy.
I just checked out deal dash for my 80 yr old mother because she kept seeing the commercials on TV. My experience was ridiculous! It ended up costing me a lot of money that I do not have! Luckily I was the one who did this and not her, considering she is on a low income! I was consistently shown as the higher bidder but my points would run out and you would have to buy more! This is we're a person could get ripped off because it continually keeps adding on ten seconds and never ends! I will NEVER use this site again!
Hi Jill! Sorry to hear you didn't have a good first experience. We have a 90 day money back guarantee covering your first bid pack purchase, so if you're unhappy with your experience you can get a refund - no questions asked! This gives customers like you the chance to try the auctions without having to risk losing your money!
Please get in touch with our customer support staff if you'd like us to process this refund for you.
DealDash is really an entity of its own. I think they are behind all the products on the site but they do seem to be well designed and thought out.
Who's to say what is a brand and what is not? Prices to buy bids go up and down so try and buy at 12 cents (at time of writing, that's the best deal). It is a game and like all games, it has rules. Do your homework and don't just jump in and start bidding. Make sure you keep count of your bids. Price goes up by a penny but that bid costs you money and it adds up fast.
All that said, while there was stressful moments, I certainly had a lot of fun and Dealdash customer service was great and made the experience better. GL!
Everybody loves auctions. It's fun to bid on items you want and try to figure your best plan to win them. Deal Dash offers you a wide choice of item types, prices and plenty of tips and training blogs to get started. Whatever your interests and whatever schedule suits you'll find a match.
Further, if you have a question or a problem, their customer service will amaze you! They respond as if they were waiting just for your contact and the sincerity and openness of their response displays a level of effort that is all too rare, nowadays.
There are way too many rude people who use this site, if you're smart don't even start using this site. Look at it this way, if u buy an ipod for say $30 u'll be like "omg look how much i saved!" but in reality those $30 equal 3000 bids which each cost 60 cents. Dealdash makes 1,830 bucks for something they bought for like 100 bucks. And in my experience for the past month there are now way too many people to win anything for cheap prices that make sense. If you want my advice, don't even start or try this site out.
Hi Zach, thanks for your feedback and sorry to hear you don't enjoy the site. Each bidder has a bidder bio which they can update to share something about themselves. Although the majority of people use this in a kind and friendly manner to share hobbies, etc. there are some that use the bio to try and intimidate others - for example say. That they'll bid forever! Most people however just try to ignore the ridiculous or rude bios and then report it to our customer support team so we can remove the bio and request the person to use the bio as intended.
As for the price items get sold for it may seem that someone from outside the company could calculate the money DD makes using your calculation example, however these calculations don't take into account all the free bids used in the auction, the fact that bids are purchased on sale at 15¢ instead of 60¢ and that most people that don't win the auction get those bids back for free to try again after the auction is finished because they Buy it Now. With that said, of course we want to make a profit and we do so in order to exist so that we can continue providing a fun place to shop and get some great deals. We are the longest operating site of our kind in the USA since 2009 and there have been hundreds of PA sites come and go - one reason being they could not sustain supplying the deals therefore went bankrupt. All in all, we have about the same profit margins as an average retail store and it's our mission to continue providing a fun, fair and honest marketplace for people to come together and shop. Anyone interested in giving DD a try can do so completely risk free as we offer a 100% money back guarantee on your first purchase within 90 days - no questions asked.
If you'd like to learn more about our business please feel welcome to contact our support team via email or chat. I hope I was able to address some of your concerns and provide some useful information in this message. Sincerely, David
I've been using Deal Dash for about 7 months now & just love the site!. A couple days ago I won a totally tricked out electric scooter worth well over $500 for about $160. I was so excited when I won it, that I put my wrong address down! Not a problem for DD, with a little help from Customer Service, Bam, they had it corrected before it shipped out. I am one happy bidder:-).
Customer service notified me about a product I was buying it now that was not going to be available from manufacturer. I was given the option of choosing something else or cancelling. Deal dash is always great to work with.
Hi Bryce, thank you for taking the time to leave a review for us! I'm happy to hear that our Happiness team was able to resolve an out of stock item for you. We are always here for you 24/7!
Very fast response for this time of year. I am sure they are very busy at this time. I have been doing penny bidding with DealDash since 2010 and if I ever had a problem big or small they have always been quick to respond back to help me solve the issue. I just didn't expect being so close to Christmas and all I would hear back from them so quickly ( less than 24 hours) and take care of it. Thank You
Thank you Ron for your customer loyalty. We're glad to hear you've had a good experience over the years and we look forward to making the service even better in 2014 and beyond. Happy New Year!
I never thought it would be so much fun bidding and playing on deal dash. I have won at least 12 things in such a short period of time. The best part is some of the items were for only. 01.The other items did not cost very much. Just need to set your limits even though if I really want the item I will bid more!
My gift cards arrived within a couple of days. The other items came in about a week. The quality of the items were just as they stated, very well made and not cheap.
I am a fan and will keep on playing, thank you Deal Dash.
I enjoy deal dash for most products. I've won a few products with the most expensive being a $500 headphones that cost me $20 + bids for a total of about $40. There are however a few players in here that have made a name for themselves as "don't bid against me or you will lose". Basically their strategy seems to be to bid to infinite, just eliminate the competition. Even if the price goes above the retail and buy it now. When I see those names, I just drop out. They make it less fun or need a limit.
An example would be a $100 item. Buy-it-now would be $100. The action would go to $130 until they win. Taking a loss but I guess building up a reputation and overall profit.
It's basically the economics of eliminating your competition by taking losses.
I still play as long I avoid those players and really high prices.
Hi Carlos, thank you for your review and I am happy to hear about your recent wins! We have auction limits (once per 30 days and once per user auctions, 50 weekly win limits, no re-entry auctions) to provide a fairer auction platform and if you have any feedback on how to further level the playing field, please let us know by emailing support@dealdash.com. Happy Bidding^_^
When I first joined, it was great fun. Now, there are complete junkies on the site that will bid for more than the item is worth.
For that reason, I usually only attempt to 'win' gift cards. At least when I don't win, I can BIN.:)
Great site, love the idea of it all, and love the items you list (things I've never seen or even thought of before sometimes), just wish those insane 'I will win, by God' people would find another place to play.
So far I've saved about $30 buying from Deal Dash. I don't really have a need for electronics, so I mostly try to win gift cards, and, occasionally, small appliances. I use the bid buddy exclusively, and am sure happy that's a feature. I've won some free bids, and will keep bidding.
Long delays on shipping and receiving products won or bought. Bought gift cards end of November it is now the middle of December and I still have not received them. Also have been searching for a customer service phone number and have not found one to find out we're my items are.
I found it was HARD to "win" any auctions without spending a LOT of bid money in the process. I found it VERY interesting that I "won" 3 auctions within about 10 minutes of signing up. That got me hooked and I've wondered ever since if those "wins" were rigged. I am out of bids now and don't plan on bidding again. Luckily this experiment only cost me a net of about $80.00 and my curiosity is satisfied. Best of luck to the company and to all bidders.
Request for refunds were made several times and there was one item outstanding. Finally a transaction number was provided and I contacted my Bank and they resolved the issue. Mahalo & Aloha, Ray Gallant
I have had nothing but amazing experiences with deal dash. Customer service is knowledgeable and friendly. I've won many awesome prizes, some for only a penny. The prizes retail for atleast fifty dollars and they ship fast and free. I'm addicted and you will be too. Thanks DealDash for all you do!

Joined a year and a half ago. Initially fun but then became extremely competitive. Rated the site based on my feelings. Was very surprised when dealdash took the time to contact me regarding my review. We spent almost an hour on the phone discussing my concerns and suggestions for improvement. Very impressed that a company would take the time to do that. Made me feel like I matter, that I am more than just another number. Will definitely try site again!
I have won a few fast food gift cards and a grill utensil set but once my bids run down, I will no longer use deal dash. I do not see any way to gain an advantage by bidding on an item in the last seconds versus in the first 9 seconds! Either way it resets the clock so what is the game plan? No different than Ebay, in my opinion.
Sometimes there are issues - BUT they don't worry me one bit/bid. Why? Because DD customer service is always willing to listen and if possible rectify almost any problem. The response is timely, personal, professional and eager to help. I can't say that about any retailer. I hesitate to be specific at the risk of insinuating there are numerous or problematic issues. They may even be the fault of partners in distribution or packing, etc. All I know is that DD takes full responsibility, doesn't make excuses and exceeded any expectations of any issue I've
DealDash is a great company/product/idea. The company strikes me as being extremely honest which is the most important thing with something like this.
Plus their customer service is great. When you're new you can ask some pretty stupid questions and they are always nice and polite and fast!
This is a great app for entertainment and gambling and sometimes you win neat stuff. I recently won an Air Fryer for $. 84 since and about a hundred bids. They run promotions on buying bids all the time so you can get them real cheap (0.12). I've also won gift cards with only two or three bids. Customer service is great and very responsive
Elite bidders that have the money to spend and have done the research on each item's value when sold in various avenues (turn-key, social media, ebay, etc.), will win when it benefits them. However, persons new to auction style selling/buying will be eaten by the sharks with experience.
Hello Tucker,
Thank you for your most honest, invaluable feedback here and I'm sorry to hear that you feel this way.
Your feedback is extremely important to us and we ensure that it is heard by the entire company.
To address your concerns about frequent users and the possibility of reselling auction wins, we take these reports seriously as reselling is an unequivocal violation of our terms of service. I have forwarded this to our dedicated team moderating the auctions full time to look further into.
Your DealDash experience means everything to us so please don't hesitate to get in touch with us, we are available 247 and we are always happy to help!

Bid on auctions and save. All auctions start at $0 with no minimum price reserve. Everything must go! DealDash is the fair and honest bidding site. Founded in 2009, millions of bidders have enjoyed Deal Dash auctions since.
Established in 2009, DealDash is the longest operating site of its kind in the United States. Before DealDash was founded, millions of Americans tried out 1st generation bidding fee auctions. These first generation auctions left many people with a poor experience.
After one such letdown experience, spending $50 on a pay-to-participate auction site with nothing to show for it, our founder decided to create a fair and honest alternative to bidding fee auctions, where losing bidders don’t have to lose the money they spent bidding. That is how Deal Dash was born in 2009. Today, over 1,000 brand named products are discovered and won by customers every day!
Bid in our online auctions to catch a deal and if you don't win the auction, you can buy it now and keep on bidding!
Hi Aron,
Thanks for getting in touch. Please note that your two accounts were closed since there was a direct violation of our terms of use. You participated in the same auction with your two related accounts, which is strictly prohibited. Quoting our terms of use:
"Any kind of collusion or team play is strictly forbidden on DealDash. By definition, this includes, but is not limited to, two or more members working together as a team, or creating the impression that there are more people involved and competing to win an auction than there actually are, or placing bids until Buy it Now offers are earned and then switching over to another account to continue to earn further Buy it Now offers on the same deal.
DealDash does not allow two members that know each other to participate in the same auction. Two members participating in the auction are by definition engaging in team play, and automatically lose their right to purchase the Deal or receive any of their spent bids back.
We reserve the right to disqualify, in our absolute discretion, any users we suspect to be working in a team by voiding all their wins and freezing their accounts. No funds or bids will be returned or transferred into other accounts. If a user is found to have violated the Terms of use, any free bids provided to them and used, including those provided in the past must immediately be paid for by user at their current selling price."
You can access the full terms of use here: https://www.dealdash.com/terms-of-use
I´m afraid there are no refundable bids in your account, since all purchased bids have already been used in the auctions.
As far as the phone call where "profane language" was used, we record every single one of our calls, and haven't been able to locate the phone call you mention.
Our Customer Support team treats all of our users respectfully and kindly, this is our number one core value. However, if you could provide me more details about the phone call (phone number you called from, name of the representative, or any other relevant information), I'll be happy to double check.
I hope this explanation is helpful, and if you have any questions or concerns we'll be happy to assist.
Best,
Adrian
