I ordered a refurbished Ipad Pro from Decluttr, and even got a 10% discount. That being said, I received it today. Now, they said it was in "good, refurbished" condition. They were wrong. It arrived in "like-new" condition. I am quite impressed. Included was a little lightening cable. Seriously, I was skeptical at first given all the negative reviews, but, now I'm very pleased. The only con was trying to check order status. It kept on coming up as in processing and yet I received it today. Not knowing when it was being shipped was a let down because I waited to make sure the accessories I needed (longer cable and a screen protector) would be appropriate for this model. But, as I said it appears to be brand new except for a few very light scratched on the rear of the device. Good job!
Contacted them 7 days after the "expected delivery date" when a book did not arrive. (BTW: I received no notice that shipment had actually occurred.) Their reply was that I was contacting them beyond their "within 30 days of expected delivery date" and that "Due to the length of time that has passed, we do not have access to our records". Sounds like this "company" in not on the up-and-up. You may also note that in trying to contact this GA vendor, email goes to an address in the UK. Be aware before you deal with this group (or individual.)

I submitted a trade-in order (2 separate orders across 3 different boxes/packages). Originally, I received an email stating that 1/2 of the large order was missing. I replied letting them know it was in another box (they provided both labels). After the other box arrived, they told me that one of the items was still missing. I responded and told them that it was wrapped in the packing materials, but that I know for a fact it was in the box. The entire purpose of creating the two separate orders was because they do not allow 2 of the same item in one order. I had 2 Dualshock 4 (PS4) controllers to trade in, thus I created two separate orders. The company basically called me a liar and stole/misplaced one of the controllers that was in the box that I traded in. After several back and forth emails including me including all documents requested (proof of ownership, proof of shipment, and delivery confirmation of all 3 boxes), I was fed up and gave them a choice to pursue it further and make it right, or to pay me for the rest of the order that was in the same box and get negative reviews posted everywhere. Rather than support the customer, they chose the pay out and negative reviews option. Hope it was worth the $7.
Tip for consumers:
It amazes me that the company and there rep (Lucas) chose to not pursue it and make the payment and receive the negative reviews.
I gave used them three or four times and each one of them was a rip-off shame on me...made an offer got 10 cents on the dollar when I was all said and done...shame on me!
They will use a vague reason to massively reduce their offer without presenting evidence of the issue. My Xbox was in full working order, they offered over $100. It arrived with them and I was told it had a "significant software or hardware issue" with no further details despite my requests.
Scam set up to sell on your hardware for a profit.
Update: I finally received my console back after 6 weeks of waiting. And surprise surprise, it's working fine. Currently updating itself as I factory reset before sending (as they request)

I sent them $40 worth of CDs. First, they claimed that one was missing. Then they kept saying that payment would be sent in 2-3 business days. It's been 2 weeks, and still no payment! Each time I contacted their Customer Service, I got a different person who sent me a very obvious "template response." Please send us a copy of your bank statement to verify that the funds have not been deposited" I got the same message three times!
Do NOT send this customer your items. You will likely not get paid or only be paid an amount you never agreed to!

I sold two iphone X to Decluttr, both of which were delivered to them on 11/19/2020. My Decluttr account only shows them receiving 1 of 2 phones, despite the proof of delivery from UPS showing "Kelsey" received each phone at Decluttr's loading dock. I emailed customer service on December 28, and received a reply yesterday, Jan. 4th, basically asking me to send the order number, which I had already done last week. So far, they have only paid for one of my two phones. Use Gazelle, much better customer service!
I sold my Surface Pro 6 and still waiting for my payment (which is more than a month now). I hear the same excuse from customer service saying "my bank declined to honor their ACH" and it's a bull. I will never recommend Decluttr to my friends or family members.
Absolutely horrible terrible customer service and they will not pay you! Do not trust their reviews on their website, they filter them so only the 3,4 and 5 stars appear. I was never paid for my iPhone X that was is excellent condition. They gave me the run around about my phone and now say it is out of their 28 day window. They do not have a phone number or address listed on their site—-SCAM
Tip for consumers:
Do not sell on Decluttr

Got a quote and shipped my device. They received it and emailed me that my payment was on the way. All is going as planned. UNTIL. Money never arrives. Contact support, provide banking records (!) that show no deposit. Contact support (by chat because you can't talk to anyone) told my money will be there soon. Contact support again, told I will be emailed about it. Contact support 7 more times, same response. No money, no device, no email that they said they would send. They still have my device and haven't paid me. This company is unethical at best and mostly likely just a scam.
Sent in my iPhone 7 in perfect condition, I was offered $60 for it. They said when they received it, that the screen was broken and I could only get $12. I've ready from many other reviews that this is what they do. If you reject the offer, they will just send you your phone back broken. Total scam! Avoid!

I sell used items online and come across a lot of dvds and cds and started doing business with Declutter. The first 6 months went smooth. The following 6 months not so much. I have not been paid on 6 different packages I sent in. I have tried contacting them for 5 months now. They basically took my packages and that's that. The company is a complete SCAM. A bunch of losers ripping off the public. I really do not have much money so to rip someone off like myself you really have hit bottom. I sold 162 dvds in one package and was only getting paid $38 they took it. Any package that I have sent in over $20 they kept. Then you have a option to ask' when will you get paid'… if your having a similar problem such as myself when you try and utilize this option it takes you to a page that's says 'this page can not be found'
What a joke

I sent a perfectly fine ipad to them. Looked brand new as it had lived it's life in a case. I get a response that the LCD is bad and the microphone is bad and the offer dropped from $106 to $19. I contact them via chat and say "it was totally fine so it has to either be an error on your end or it was damaged in shipping." They are willing to open a claim with UPS if I provide them my proof of sending it. It was THEIR prepaid label! And they acknowledged it was received. How could I even possibly fake this! They insist "anyone can bring a package to us, we have to prove you sent it". I even checked the tracking number - I cannot fake a package with their tracking number showing it went from my city to theirs. I called this out and they disconnected the chat. FRAUD
My husband ordered phones from this company which were supposed to be unlocked, but only mine was. He ended up having to buy another new phone for twice the price from our wireless provider, and there is no obvious way to return the phone from Decluttr and get our money back. I'm pretty sure they purposely sent a faulty shipping label so that they would never receive the phone back and they would have an excuse to not refund our money. They are unreachable by phone. Email response is minimal. In fact, I'm also pretty sure they block email addresses so they can claim you never tried to reach out to them. We will never buy from Decluttr again and I urge anyone else who is considering buying anything from them to go elsewhere.
I've only written maybe 3 reviews in my life, however this company really needs a wake up call considering there are many more just like them! I needed help removing some extremely heavy items. It seemed like a fair price, however, after keeping me on the phone for literally 25 minutes telling me stories about other customers and then basically getting into a debate on why family people should work Saturdays like himself? I didn't care about his personal choices, I only wanted to
Know if I could have a Saturday or I would need to go elsewhere and he his response was to Hang Up on me?
So I immediately called another company, same price, great customer service!
He's needs to change careers or something.
This place is a complete scam. I sent 2 boxes. Both boxes were delivered by UPS same day however Decluttr claims they lost one. In the second box they claim there are missing items. Do not send anything to Decluttr unless you never want to see it again.
Tip for consumers:
Do not use Decluttr as they do not pay what they promise

Sold and sent them my tech items
Was quoted over $17 for 10 items, received $2. They claimed a brand new book & game were unacceptable. When I told them I had pictures of everything before I packed, they stopped communications. Absolute fraud! Sell your things elsewhere.
I offered my Playstation 4 to them for $160, and shipped it. I received an email from them saying its inoperable offering 10% ($16) or send back. I want it back, it was in nearly like new but not like new condition. They sent it to me in a way that I now have to sue to get my asset/value back, & I'm willing to.
~Very unhelpful, very harmful
Tip for consumers:
Take a pic of your SERIAL# before sending electronics. And a VIDEO of its operation and what BOX you sent it in.

Sold two brand new / unopened Microsoft Surface Pro's to Decluttr. Their website said they would pay $261/ea. Once they finally said they received them (4 days after UPS delivered them), they offered me $13.05 for the first one. Have read too many reviews about this practice at this company.
What a rip-off. Sure wish I read more reviews before sending off an iPhone. The screen protector had one simple crack, but the screen was A+...however, these folks took the position to report my "Screen was completely smashed..." Now, if I get it back (waiting now) and find the screen smashed, well, that makes them even more dishonest. I took photos and packaged the iPhone very well. I'd suggest dealing with a more reliable trade-in group, or service with a better reputation. When I finally got around to looking at their record, boy was it awful!
I tried to sell them my iPhone 7. It was, IMO, in pretty good condition, with no obvious issues. The speed and ease of their service was good, which is why they get 2 stars instead of 1. However...
I rated my phone as Good and might have accepted a Fair, but they classified it with a Poor (or Faulty) rating due to, apparently, the front and back mics being 'faulty'. Or rather their PhoneCheck test said the quality was muffled or distorted. I take issue with this since I've recorded audio with my phone and have used it for 5 years with no microphone issues. I might have accepted a Fair evaluation because of a mic issue, but Faulty is just too much. Frankly I think this is just them trying to increase their profit by reducing my phone's valuation. I'm really waffling on whether to have them send it back of just accept the offer. I would have been better off using Apple's trade-in option.
I bought 3 dvds from decluttr and it took roughly 6 days to get them. One was even brand new. I feel I got a pretty good deal for what I bought. I bought, Empire of the Sun, It's a Wonderful Life, and One Flew over the cuckoo nest. Unfortunately I already have empire but didn't realize it.
The reason I give four stars instead of 5 is two fold. First my order took longer than 3-4 days to arrive (which really isn't a problem) and second because the packing didn't have any protection. Not even bubble wrap.
The process worked exactly as described. Reviewed a quote based on my description, label for return and off it went. The received it in about 5 days per UPS. They acknowledged receipt and then told me they were reviewing my phone to see if it matched what I said. Within in a day the money of the price quoted was as in my PayPal account. I know others have noted differences here but that was not the case for me. This was so much easier than trading in through my carrier. I have a very good experience and got a fair price but more importantly this was so quick and easy! I'd recommend using them in the future.
I had a large dvd collection that I had been trying to sell off for a while and this site was a life saver. This site gave me the most money back for dvds and it gives a decent amount back for phones too. If they receive your item and they don't believe the quality is good enough they contact you and you can decide to take their offer or get the item returned. I personally have made over $400 selling my dvds and an old note 4 phone. I would recommend checking out other places to sell your stuff back to make sure decluttr is offering the highest price but over 80% of the items i have sold them have been the highest offer, usually by a significant amount.
Tip for consumers:
I haven't found anywhere that gives more money back for your phones. So I would recommend using decluttr but be aware if you say its in good condition and its only acceptable they will contact you with a new offer, for less money than originally quoted, that you can review and decide if you want to take it or not.
Tried to sell a phone and dvds. Took the dvds then looked for any reason not to pay out the phone offer. If you look hard enough you can find any reason not fo pay. Then offered a ridiculous 37 bucks from over 200. I'd flush it before I gave it fo them for that price. Says passed every test but sounds a little muffled when you try to record your voice on the phone. I never really use that feature so no clue furthermore it's a used phone. Will it work better now or when I bought it 3 years ago use common sense sane as any item like a car or appliance. The screen was not cracked no scratches and it worked. If I knew they were going to go Sherlock Holmes on it I wouldn't have sent it. It tied up my phone abs prevented me from selling it to a normal company like a GameStop. I only went ti Decluttr because they offered a little more. All in all a waste of time I'll be waiting for my item back fo sell it somewhere else
