I ordered a refurbished Ipad Pro from Decluttr, and even got a 10% discount. That being said, I received it today. Now, they said it was in "good, refurbished" condition. They were wrong. It arrived in "like-new" condition. I am quite impressed. Included was a little lightening cable. Seriously, I was skeptical at first given all the negative reviews, but, now I'm very pleased. The only con was trying to check order status. It kept on coming up as in processing and yet I received it today. Not knowing when it was being shipped was a let down because I waited to make sure the accessories I needed (longer cable and a screen protector) would be appropriate for this model. But, as I said it appears to be brand new except for a few very light scratched on the rear of the device. Good job!
Contacted them 7 days after the "expected delivery date" when a book did not arrive. (BTW: I received no notice that shipment had actually occurred.) Their reply was that I was contacting them beyond their "within 30 days of expected delivery date" and that "Due to the length of time that has passed, we do not have access to our records". Sounds like this "company" in not on the up-and-up. You may also note that in trying to contact this GA vendor, email goes to an address in the UK. Be aware before you deal with this group (or individual.)
On July 9 I sent my MS Surface in for the promised $60 payment. A few days later they claimed that it had camera damage and they would only pay me six dollars. The surface had hardly ever been used except as a desktop, so I don't believe that claim was correct. I asked for my Surface back, and after over a month I have still not received it. Not happy with them at all.
I purchased a phone in good condition expecting wear and tear on the sides and maybe some light scratching on the screen. Instead the the entire phone looks like it's been kicked and thrown around. Back front and sides are chipped. Screen looks like previous owner tried to sand the screen down and left swirling scratches all over. There is also a small chip or crack in the glass on the screen. There is no usb type c or wall jack to test the phones software. There is a sticker on the back of the phone that says it was still awaiting testing /grading. Looks like they just threw whatever came in right in a shipping box and sent it to me without checking it. I also paid for 2 day air delivery, which they charged me for but then sent the phone ups ground. Customer service only responds vaguely to half of what you say in an email and getting that half a response takes days. I've been waiting 3 days for a response about a return label so I can be done with this "company."
Same scam you're hearing from others: they quoted me $237 for an iPad Pro in great condition. I sent the iPad in (carefully shipped) and they claimed the screen had "pressure marks" and lowered their offer to $27.
I rejected the offer and requested my item back. It took them 10 days to ship in the location is only 10 miles from me.
I've since sold the iPad on eBay for $200.
Don't waste your time with Decluttr

iPad sale.
The xbox and controller I purchased was in extremely poor condition. I emailed them to send it back, only for them to send a blank return label and then ignore any following emails. Would not recommend doing business with this company.
I sent in a gently used iPad Air 2 for sale. Decluttr was willing to pay $125 for it. After inspection they claimed the headphone port was non functioning and tried to counter offer with $12.50. I was immediately suspicious since I had never once used the headphone port on this iPad. I requested the item be returned to me. I have it back now and the headphone port works just fine.
Worth noting as well - Decluttr emphasizes that you pack and ship your items very well when you send to them to avoid any damage. When my iPad was returned to me it was squeezed into a standard yellow padded envelope with very little protection.
Overall this process took over two weeks. I could have sold my item on eBay in that time. I thought selling my iPad to Decluttr would be more convenient but did not count on their dishonest inspection process and attempt to defraud me. Seller beware.
I am not sure how I missed these reviews before making a purchase from this company, the
Customer service is the worst. Run run the other way pay full price do anything else but don't make a purchase with them.
If you have equipment issue even with items that state is refurbished pristine (crap) there is no one to speak to, you email and someone responds at 4am they are looking into it. There. Is no one to help resolve anything if there is an issue, take your money anywhere else you will regret it, then are not even worth 1/2 a star.
I was quoted $135 for my Google Pixel 3 online (order *******). I sent the phone and received an updated quote of $12 due to my phone having "software" issues. My phone worked just fine when I sent it. I requested my phone be sent back to me, which they did. Now my phone will not even turn on. I cannot charge it and there is not indication it is alive at all. Decluttr broke my phone and bamboozled me. I am not a happy camper.
I sent my iPhone back well within the warranty period and they did not honor their promise. The phone was in pristine physical condition and developed an internal issue and they said it was damaged by us with zero explanation.
Make sure you click through the entire website until you find the actual warranty information. Decluttr site itself leave misleading and not full information about the policy and if you end up with a faulty product like I did you won't be pleased. Service rep Marc C refused connecting me with a manager.
Got an email that my order was received on a Wednesday, and that technician will be checking my device. Got another email that Thursday stating the same thing. Is there one person working on the warehouse? My phone was fully charged when I sent it. How long does it take to turn on a damn phone and make sure it works? Are they using the force? Is a toddler checking the phone, or a monkey with downs? I don't get it. Use a local market app, you will sale your stuff much faster.
I had my IPad tested before sending it to decluttr and they fail it trying to offer me $200 less than originally offered. It's been 2 weeks and I still haven't gotten my IPad back and nobody answers my messages to them. Id be real careful sending them anything of value. They'll say they are going to pay you good money then say oh the LCD failed $20 is all it's worth. I'll be lucky to get the IPAD back. Rip Off

I bought iPhone that was advertised as a Verizon phone, but it was still locked by another carrier. I went through their chat and sent them a bunch of pictures of what I was seeing on the phone, they told me to return it and they would inspect it further. When I told them I was really unhappy about that (because I needed the phone immediately) they removed me from the chat and put me back in their queue. I eventually took a stab myself and went to AT&T to request an unlock — and I guessed correctly that it was AT&T previously. Within 5 minutes I unlocked the phone myself! The decluttr chat was completely useless! Their ad was misleading. The whole experience was terrible. Strongly discouraged to ever buy from decluttr again. We aware, they are VERY risky to purchase from.

They was going to give me four hundred for my note ten it took me two weeks to hear anything from them first of all so they send me a email saying my phone was blacklisted or stolen so I got Verizon on the sent them a copy of our conversation and they claim they will be returning my device shortly. I use to deal with them all the time but for all the lies and trying to make me look bad they are done!
Avoid at all costs. Total fraud. About 6 months ago I sold my Samsung Galaxy S7 to Decluttr for $91 (Gazelle, which I had always used in the past, offered a lot less). When they received the cell phone, they claimed the screen had burnout and lowered their offer to $8. I work in IT Engineering. The phone screen was NOT burned. I told them to ship it back. They never did. I spent MONTHS trying to resolve this. Every time they told me they would escalate this to a supervisor the conversation ended. I finally got an $8 check in the mail months later.
I work in IT. I have never ever had an experience like this selling IT hardware. I should have stayed with Gazelle. What a mistake.
BEWARE! Do not trust this company. Decluttr is a complete scam. I sent my phone to them, they damaged the casing, and revised the offer price to pennies! I rejected the revised offer and got my phone back, only to find the phone was opened up and the casing is damaged. I sent them the before and after photos (see attached), but they do not accept they did any damage. Highly unprofessional. Do not recommend them.
I sent in my iPhone 6 decent condition. Was quoted $93. They said my microphone wasn't working and offered me $14!?! Rejected that offer immediately. I can't believe what a low ball offer! I've seen non working phones for parts for $50 or more on other sites! My advice: stay away unless you enjoy these type of shenanigans!
Just sent in my like new Samsung Note 8 that I have been using for the last two years with no issues. Decluttr received it and now says its faulty and gives me some low ball offer. What a joke of a business dont waste your time with them go to gazelle or buybackboss.
When I first started selling my used and (even several new items) on this site, they paid about the best out there. Now, it is hit and miss. It's really not worth my time and I've either trashed a lot of my stuff or sold it in lots on ebay. They will offer only 5-50 cents for many fairly popular CD's & DVD's. The case alone is worth 20 cents to me.
I was sending them new items and still not getting any more than used. They will refuse to pay you for items even if the UPC works in their system. This usually occurs if it from a music club. Their "customer service" people are lousy to deal with
And always make the seller out to be wrong. I doubt that I will do anymore business with them. Do yourselves a favor and give them to charity. You won't make any money here, because they just resell them on other sites.
Purchased a phone in Feb. Touchscreen stopped working in Aug. Returned for repair x2 and they voided warranty without fixing or replacing like warranty said. Worst customer service and business ever. Stay away.

Wish I would have known how bad this company was before this. Previous purchases were satisfactory until now

Sent them my phone for the quoted price. Phone is in pristine condition. However, they claimed that the audio playback was inaudible, but I have recordings from the day before it was sent to them and the audio is just fine. No issues with that phone whatsoever. Initially offered my $771 and then tried to counter-offer me $120 for an unlocked, 256 iPhone 12 Pro.
Tip for consumers:
Make sure you have proof of your device and it fully working. But they can pretty much say anything they want once they receive your device. I'd recommend just trading your device in with your carrier or with Apple. You'll get less money, but in the long run, you'll save yourself some frustration.

I was selling them my iPhone 12 Pro
You will get $0 for your phone while they claimed they would pay $100+. Upon receiving my phone, they claim that the phone is not authentic or has a non-US specification... while I got this phone directly from Verizon. I got my iphone stolen, which I could've sold for at least $50 at other places. Please look for other places if you are willing to sell your product, because they will take it for free.
Guys don't even try to have any business with them. I sent them phone in very good condition without scratches, like new. After, got email that button is not working and screen is cracked. They offer me $14 insted of &150. It is not big money, but could be worse. I can't reach tech support to find out why it is happen. Phone number isn't working. After all of it, I rejected my Oder. It already second week waiting for any respond or my working phone back. Don't even try guys, they getting your financial info too. Also, I assume they might remove working parts from the phone and send me broken. Any way please, be careful guys.
This is not a business it's a scam. The customer support phone number is fake and when you call it states all circuits are busy regardless of the time you call. They stole one of my devices after saying it had a bad ESN I contacted the cell phone provider and the ESN was clean. They do not pay the next day as they claim. Please avoid this place at all cost. I have an email stating that they would return my device and it's been weeks no device. Now I'm am forced to file multiple complaints against them. I also believe that they are doing this because of racial reasons. Avoid or risk being scammed.
I wish I had don't more research before doing any business with this unscrupulous company. They believe their terms of service gives them a license to steal. They will quote you a price and short you without any proof. We are just supposed to take their word that a sealed video game had damaged artwork. All I'm asking is proof. Otherwise you are stealing from the public and I hope the $20 was worth it. If you don't believe me - look at the low scores on this site and google. Dozens of examples of shadiness. BEWARE
