3 weeks into an order - nothing. No shipment tracking, no updates. Called the company to see where my 3 showers are only to hear "they have been discontinued sorry" really!? And nobody bothered to tell me? While I already installed rough ins for the showers (bough separately) They tried to resolve the issue by transferring me back and forth to: "sorry this extension was not found. Goodbye" Want headache? Perfect company for you...

Great selection, best price, awesome customer service.

I rarely leave reviews but I was recently so impressed by the customer service at Decor Planet. George L helped me source an item (that was otherwise out of stock everywhere else I called) and somehow managed to get it shipped to me within a few days! Other places said it could take between 3-6 WEEKS!

I've become so accustomed to mediocre customer service that I was so stunned when he called me back to let me know he found my items in stock. I had dismissed his comment that "he'd look into it" as polite talk without follow through... but I was delightfully wrong!:)

Thank you, George L, for showing me that people still care about the customer and providing excellent service. Thank you for saving my bathroom remodel so my family can move back into our home after an unexpected delay due to sheltering-in-place restrictions mid-renovations.

You could've just told me that the item was backordered (like the 4 other companies I called informed me), but instead, you saved my sanity and you helped make a sale for Decor Planet. The icing on the cake was that Decor Planet had the best price. Thanks again, George. :)

We are in the process of converting our house from 1.5 to 2 bathrooms. We worked with Vladimir at the Staten Island location earlier this year to purchase products for phase one of our project. He was very knowledgable about the various products we were looking into and helpful when we made our purchase. The vanity, toilet, shower head and tub shield we bought helped make our guest bathroom look very sleek, like something you would see at a hotel. That's one thing we especially love about Decor Planet - the variety of modern/contemporary bath products is simply amazing. Unfortunately, we did experience some issues with customer service when arranging for pick-up/delivery of our products. However, we got those issues ironed out quickly and efficiently. The "hiccups" we experienced can happen anywhere, and our opinion on DecorPlanet has not wavered. We soon beginning phase 2 of our bathroom renovation, and recently paid another visit to the Staten Island showroom to help solidify our design ideas. We are looking forward to working with James on our second round of product purchases and are very hopeful that we will have a smoother customer service experience this time around. We can't wait for our second bathroom - a master suite! - to become a reality!

I am doing a full bathroom renovation and ordered a number of shower and faucet parts from this company. While the prices are somewhat better than other retailers and manufacturers, you really pay the price in the wait time to receive your order. My first order was not delivered in what I would consider a timely manner at all. The second order, which was only two items, will take just a couple of days shy of 1 full month from order to delivery. They are in NJ, I am in FL, so it's not like I'm on the other side of the globe, or even the country. They do notifiy you with shipping dates, so you know in advance that's going to take FOREVER to get your items. I thought the first time was just a one-off. No... second order even worse and longer delivery time. Next time I will probably just pay the extra at other retailers or manufacturers to have the items shipped within a few days instead of almost a month later. Yes, you can save money if you have PLENTY of time to wait. I'm done with them.

Decorplanet carries some really modern and stylish vanities, sinks, toilets, etc. Beats the bog standard home depot/lowes fixtures. However, their service and willingness to stand behind what they sell is awful. We bought a toilet, a vanity, sink, faucet and a shower set. The mirror on the vanity was chipped when it arrived. When I called them, they said can't take responsibility because we didn't call them within 24 hours - the guy was actually pretty rude. They said they'll replace it for $85! The faucet for the sink was also defective - it was leaking. So, I went to their showroom in Brooklyn to get both things replaced. I got the vanity mirror. On the faucet, I heard a long story about how my contractor must not know what he's doing because he broke the seal on the lines going into the faucet. Anyway, he gave me new lines but the same faucet and assured me it will work. Needless to say when i got home it was still leaking. I ended up going to home depot and getting another faucet because I didn't have time for another trip to Brooklyn to get another faulty faucet.

Be very careful of this company. As I said, they do carry stylish stuff but they'll try to get rid of broken/faulty merchandise by sending it to you and then blaming you for it. One small example, the chipped vanity mirror that I returned wasn't thrown away. They mounted it on a display vanity in the showroom, no doubt for it be shipped to another unsuspecting customer.

I purchased 2 toilets and 2 vanities from decor planet. I looked online at different products I was interested in. At the store, the salesman helped us pick out a skirted Toto toilet with a dual flushing system. I like that I can easily decide whether to use 0.8 or 1.6 gallons of water per flush; I like that I'm saving water. The skirted design makes it easier to clean the outside without all the nooks and cranies that dust can rest on.

I like both vanities. One vanity has quiet self closing drawers with ample storage space. The other vanity is a piece of art with its glass counter and bowl. I switched the mirror to a mirror cabinet that has three storage shelves and mirrors everywhere.

When I had an issue with the faucet, the customer service in the store and online were both helpful. They e-mailed me photo instructions how to clear the clog in my faucet. After attempting to fix the faucet on my own without success, customer service offered to send me a replacement faucet even though my faucet is no longer under warranty because they stand behind their products.

I like decor planet for their design and quality of products, their customer service, and helpful salesmen.

Horrible!
Customer service sucks! Order mirror wait extra TWO weeks! Received WRONG! Picture and descriptions do not matching! Wait for too week before pick up! Week after still NOT received refund. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY!

We have been many times. We ordered our floors and bathroom tiles. Excellent service. Nina was very knowledgable and helpful. I highly recommend Decor Planet. Great place for kitchen and bath.

We bought two vanities - the Fresca Distinto Modern Bathroom Vanity and the Fresca Bellezza Espresso Modern Bathroom Vanity and we couldn't be more pleased. The delivery was on time and the products are beautiful. All of our guests comment on how nice they look and want to know where we bought them. We have a newly built modern home and they really compliment the look and feel of our place. The quality if very good as well. We have been in our home since January 2011 and they are in good working order. We are very pleased.

We ordered a bathroom vanity. When it arrived, the countertop was missing. After dealing with customer service, they agreed to ship the missing piece. When the replacement countertop arrived, it didn't match the sink. When we questioned them about it, they said that's the way it's supposed to be. So now we have a bright white sink, with an off-white countertop.

UPDATE: After I left my initial review here, DecorPlanet.com contacted me regarding the problems I had with our order. It took a lot of phone-tag, and email exchanges, which was a bit frustrating.

The vanity itself is not bad quality. In fact it's really nice. I'm leaving my rating as is for now.

UPDATE #2: DecorPlanet did get finally get in touch with me, and offered to give me a partial refund of the purchase price. It took a while for things to get resolved, but they DID actually do it, which was nice. I'd like to change my rating to 3.5 stars, but since I have to choose between 3 and 4, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, and give them 4.

1/8/2019: (scroll down for updates)
It is unfortunate but I will never purchase from DecorPlanet.com ever again. My product was shipped damaged and for the last 6-7 months I attempted to call (left many many voice messages) but the phone was never answered and the voice messages were never returned.

I finally used their "live chat" and was able to get a hold of a representative only to be told I waited too long for an exchange. I was informed I had 48 hours after delivery to get an exchange accepted.

I am now fighting with the manufacturer for an exchange.

1/28/2019 Update: Decorplanet has reached out to me and are now working to make everything right! In about 2-3 weeks I should have a replacement! I am feeling very refreshed to make progress!

2/26/2019 update: I have successfully received my exchanged product! Yes it was more than their promised 2-3 weeks but none the less I am very happy that it was settled. Pete Melendrez was the extremely attentive and responsive. He does more for the company than they probably know. My review is now a 4 star. It used to be a 1 star.

Bought a bathroom vanity (Fresca Modello Espresso) - extremely unhappy that the unit I received has a big ugly "FRESCA" name-brand badge on the front outside of the top drawer, which was not shown in any of the online pictures (and still isn't). Called to complain and was told that it is a "variation in materials", so it would be subject to 25% restocking fee plus my cost to ship back. How many pieces of furniture in your house have a name brand badge on the front? Don't buy it unless you are happy advertising in your home for the random Chinese company that manufactured it. It seems the positive reviews I saw occurred before the hood ornament was added. No chance of removing it without damaging the finish (see below).

Quality is less than expected - most of the finish is something shrink-wrapped onto what I assume is particle board underneath.

Wish I had checked this site or other review sites before ordering - it looks like they filter their site reviews to remove the negative ones - I submitted the same text above to their and I doubt you'll ever see it.

I am writing here that I just had a terrible experience with decorplanet and I am sorry I have purchased product from them. My item arrived broken and it started not functioning after 5 days as you see on the picture. If the item is defective, they won't give you replacement or accept the return. This past a week and half I had to deal with their customer service and talked to manager yesterday. They put all the responsibilites on customers and they shifted the responsibilities to the manufacture warranty even though I initiated the process within 30 days. They said you reported too late. It is really bad business model. They maybe a little cheaper than other competitors, but buy from the place where it has more reputations and quality of customer service, because you will regret. I am totally regret purchasing from them. You will end up with dispute and despairs. My bathroom construction was already finished, but because the toilet was broken, the project was not completed. Now we have to wait 3 more weeks from manufacture for repairing and rehire our plumber to reinstall the seat.

Tip for consumers:
Check the review of their customer service.

Products used:
Because they refused the return and refund, I still have defective piece and now I need to send it to manufacture for warranty repair.

I would NEVER purchase a thing from Décor Planet again and I will recommend the same to everyone who will listen. We purchased a sink from Décor Planet that literally exploded (a glass sink - not uncommon we learned for glass sinks!). Décor Planet was not willing to refund us for the value of the sink. They offered us a (yes only one option) replacement sink (probably their cheapest one) of a color that would not fit into our design and they wanted us to pay for shipping! When we asked about other options, they were unwilling to help us out. Again, I would NEVER purchase another thing from Décor Planet. Customer service and poor and they do not support the customer once the sale has been made. I CANNOT EVEN GIVE THEM ONE STAR.

HORRIFIC or NO Customer service, 1st delivery was delivered, outsourced to R&L carriers, broken. 2nd order of same vanity was delivered a week later... to NORTH CAROLINA... 500 miles away. After 12-15 calls, NO ONE from this company returned a call. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

Placed an order on 11/13, it was supposed to be delivered 2-5 business days. I called multiple times left voicemails and to no avail! I will call my Amex and get it resolved through them i guess!

I ordered Ronbow vanity (Ronbow *******-W01 Torino 36" Freestanding Single Bathroom Vanity Base Cabinet in White) in March 2018. I received only sink, top and back splash. Base unit never came. I waited five months and cancelled the base order and purchased another vanity. I could not return the parts according to "return policy" they had. Now after my construction project is over, they would not take the parts back. They are still selling this product but are not willing to give me the credit.
My comments to Decorplanet team:
Take full responsibility that you could not deliver the whole unit in five months time I waited. There is no one looking at these orders to see how customer is suffering. I could have waited another year without them noticing. Why you notice only "return policy" and what customer goes through is not acknowledged. This is a bad business practice. I don't care what return policy states.
These practices should not be encouraged. I would not purchase any product from Decorplanet or Ronbow because they should share this shame as well.

Bought a double bathroom vanity with matching mirrors and side cabinet from the Staten Island location I am very happy with my prodUcts and service in the store costumer service was very helpful also a year later I broke the glass to my side cabinet and they were kind enough to help me replace it without a problem check out the show rooms they have very nice stuff
