Long time customer finally had enough! Prices ridiculous. CEO could care less about the elderly. Had basic plan and internet went from 124 a month to 174 a month. Done, I'll save 1500 a year which is great for me on fixed income. Seniors should have a discount especially after being a long time customer. Plus the cancellation of newsmax and oan mad me mad. Tired of corporations forgetting how they got where they are! Adios direct tv! I'm out!
I do not receive my bills in the mail like I requested. My bill keeps going up. I never received my gift card for signing up. My main tower was put in the kids room when I requested for it to go in the living room. When I request for them to come move my dist away from the kids window as it's a fire safety issue they keep canceling the appointment. I've taken time off work for them to come out only to be canceled. That's time I miss from work to pay my bills and feed my kids. I work paycheck to paycheck. I can't keep missing work when they won't do there job. I can't afford for my bill to keep going up when it's on a locked in plane for 2 yrs. How they do business is beyond me. I'm ready to go someplace else for service. Our just get a ruku TV and not worry about my a provider.
Signed up for your contract redeemed my $250 Visa debit card followed all steps to redeem rewards a month after I receive service keep giving me the runaround it has been 6 months have not received my reward visa card and my bill has went up $100 they cannot explain anything to me once my contract is over I am done with DirecTV!

I had Dish for 14 years and wish I never left them. Direct TV is the worst service I have ever received from a company. They charge you for every single thing. It's very difficult to get to a live agent, when the chat box says Monday - Sunday 8-6 CST, and it's Saturday at 3:30 and it says all the agents have gone for the day. Unfortunately I had to check check one start, but would have rather checked none. I would never recommend this company.
Direct TV is a different company. I was with them for 20 years. They are horrible. Upper management is running the customers out! They don't know how to treat customers even the very loyal ones. Too bad there isn't room for common sense.
They used to be decent but i guess they are like everyone else in the world since covid began(want money for nothing) bill was $108/month then got a bill for $180/month so i told them to cancel everything and they said they could give us a special rate at $151/month. I told them that was still to high just to cacel everything. They told me to return my equipment in so i wouldn't get charged anymore. A week went by it was still on so i called them again and told them i wanted it turned off, this time they told me that i was still under contract(which i am not) but i would rather pay a little bit than to have to pay a lot for this crap. I will never have Directtv again.

Salesperson said we could get 2 years for a locked price. We had automatic payments and it was not till month 14 we noticed price almost doubled. Called Directv and they told us we had to call before the end of 12th month and cancel premium channels to keep low price. We asked to revert to the price prior to the end of the 1 year mark and "No can do." We cancelled service and $127.37 went to collections for several years. My wife's credit was damaged and just recently we paid the $127.37. No help from Directv whatsoever. Directv has the power to call credit companies and ruin a customer's credit with little or no recourse for the consumer. It would be nice for Directv to "Assume" some responsibility for lack of transparencies during sales pitch.
For the 2nd time as a customer Directv I have another building issue which is gonna lead me to cancel my DirecTV again. When I signed up with directv I asked for a set bill, well here we are a year later and all of a sudden my bill has gone up 20 more dollars, and no one seems to know what happened. And of course there's nothing anyone can do for me. So once again I'm gonna cancel directv. Beware that once you've been with directv for over a year they are gonna raise your bill no matter what they tell you and they're not willing to lower it back down to where it should be.
I started a free trial. In between signing up and the email being sent, the renewal date changed from Feb 17 to Feb 16. The menus were a pain to navigate on a firetv. Not impressed and now skeptical of when the service, I attempted to cancel. The online link to cancel the service did not work. I had to call and be transferred between multiple agents. Thankfully I have received confirmation that the agreement was canceled through Amazon.
I had to cancel my subscription as they cancelled all the shows my family liked watching. Will never sign back up with them as we can access via other platforms.

We had tried this company for our motorhome with a great satellite on top of it and it sucked. Now that they're getting political I am so glad we dropped them and will never go back. I hope they go out of business
Your job is to bring TV to the people and not pick and choose what they watch. News Max should never have to go through what they are because the CEO doesn't like them. CEO's are temporary, customers usually stay longer. You are profiling!
Rude customer service. My bill was supposed to be $107.00 a month and was always $70.00 more the. That! Would spend hours on the phone with them to find out they screwed up! Do your self a favor and AVOID this cable company!

Answer: It is a scam 100%. Just read the reviews. You don't realize it until they got your money and you need something! They are holding peoples money from them that doesn't belong to them. They may even tell you you'll get it back. Just keep waiting, you wont. Then you have to call back and go through the entire process again. I'm on 6 weeks now/Overdraft fees/No Thanksgiving/ and I have photo proof I cancelled 2 days before my free trial was up. They just didn't want me to cancel! Lol. They do things different here. You have been WARNED my friends!
