They screwed up my order and refused to send new product before my event- leaving me without awards! Tried to to contact them for a week! They did not return calls and emails as promised! DON'T LET THEM RUIN YOUR EVENT!
The printing on the mugs is merely stickers that wash off very soon. If you place them in the dishwasher, the logo will be gone within 2 months. If you wash by hand, the logo will be gone in 6 months. This company is offering a scam with a subpar product. DO NOT BUY FROM DISCOUNT MUGS! I would have provided a picture but the mugs that I possess (the others were given for promotion), are just blank mugs with nothing on them.
This company is the WORST! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM, THEY LIE AND NEVER CALL YOU BACK. The offer "guaranteed" in hands dates and then dont fullfill. THEN DO NOTHING TO MAKE IT RIGHT. JUST SAY NO and save yourself the heartbreak.
I placed an order for a very important client project. The completion and arrival of the project was supposed to be in time for the due date of the project. I checked on the project four days before it was supposed to be in-hand, only to see it not even being in production yet. I called customer service to find that they were out of stock when I ordered the item! I talked to several people at Discount Mugs when I initially placed the order to make sure the art was correct, and surely, someone could have notified me then that the item was not even in stock. Over a week went by, and no one notified me that my items were not being made because the items are out of stock. I would have had time to order elsewhere if Discount Mugs had one competent person working for them to notify me that the item was not even in stock! Now, I am left scrambling to find a solution that will work instead for the client's project. How does this even happen? They don't know how to keep track of their own inventory? Yikes! Run, don't walk from this company. They obviously have no idea what they are doing! Supposedly they are refunding our money for their mistake. We'll see.

I returned to this website to place a second order for glassware. Manuel (Manny) Motaduval was extremely helpful and guided me through the process of selecting the appropriate glassware.
TERRIBLE COSTUMER SERVICE!
I called and talked to a rep there and she assured me that my product would not be shipped without a proof. I get an e-mail today telling me that my order had shipped. WITHOUT ME SENDING ANY ARTWORK IN.
So now Im paying and getting a product without a logo.
And when I called to inquire she NEVER apologized, and just kept telling me that their policy was NO REFUNDS.
I paid $95 to have this rush ordered on 9/18, you know because their website specifically states, "On Time Delivery", welp on 9/18 this shipment was still in production, when I brought it to their attention on the website chat I was told please wait 24-48 hours to call about the status but that they were looking into it as I was adamant that I needed this by Friday 9/21. Well on 9/19 I get an email that the shipment is being shipped and is expected on 9/25 - the earliest would be 9/24- too bad I said I needed it know later than 9/21. So when I said I wanted a refund they originally weren't even going to give me the full amount, not until I got irate with them did thy offer to refund the money - mind you the amount does not include the $95. They need to take "On Time Delivery" OFF their website - asap.
We placed an order with Discount Mugs to be used for an upcoming trade show. Even though we ordered weeks in advance, they kept changing the shipping date, so we called several times to make sure the order would be there on time.
The kept pushing the arrival date closer and closer to our show, so we went to great lengths to ensure that an order would be delivered the Friday before our trade show (it started the following Monday), even though it should have been there before given when we placed the order.
We kept asking for a tracking number, but they kept telling us they would give that to us as soon as it shipped.
Friday came around and we knew nothing of where the order was, so we called. It turns out that--despite our calling and checking in repeatedly--they hadn't bothered to make our order at all. They said they could rush it and have it there by Monday, but that was the best they could do. We kept asking if they could overnight it so that it would be there on Saturday seeing as how it was supposed to already be there, and the show was scheduled to start that Monday, but they simply shrugged their shoulders and said there was nothing they could do, sorry.
Our order, which we had placed several weeks before our trade show, got there on the first day of the show and with very little concern from Discount Mugs.
We asked about compensation and they agreed to get back to us, which they never did.
Will not be using them again.
Answer: The imprint will wash off in the dishwasher, or if hot liquid is in mug for a few minutes may come off on your hand.
