I actually ordered from Pizza Hut, but the delivery was from Doordash! If I had known it was being delivered from Doordash I would never have placed the order. The driver sent me a text message saying he would leave the order in a safe place. What? The order was an hour late and stone cold. I also did not receive a receipt.
For the second time today, I had a door dash driver deliver food to the wrong address. When I tried to report it in the app, all they wanted to do was give me a $2 credit. That's not sufficient. I let the driver know it was delivered to the wrong address and he blamed it on the app. Hello?!? The app has the correct address. All you have to do is look at a house number when you pull up and make sure it's the right one. After I filed the complaint, the driver continued to text me saying I was lucky because I didn't have to go pick up the order and the place I ordered from was 20 minutes out of his normal area, like I knew that. Hello again!?! I pay extra plus a delivery fee plus a tip for you to go get the food, which is the whole point of this service.
I tried forever to figure out how to let door dash know that the driver continued to be unprofessional. Finally I got on the chat. I started to type and the person wrote back 'this has already been reported' and closed the chat. Never again am I wasting my money with them
I wanted some food from a place that uber doesn't go to. First time using doordash and never got my food but was still charged almost $40 and when I call the person on the phone was really rude and said in other words to bad! Never using doordash and telling all my friends how horrible they are to customers!
Had 2 orders, 1 was delivered and the dasher used the photo from the first order as "proof of delivery".

I made my first time order and LAST - to pay triple the amount i would usually pay - and not get my stuff - When i tried to contact doordash - CAUSE THEY DONT ALLOW YOU TO CONTACT THE STORE just to rate it - AND -- your review wont go on for the store if too many negative reviews -they WITHHOLD reviews- After i explain that 1/2 my order was wrong and the other 1/2 was missing - Also trying to tell them instead of using the closest KFC near me - they used the farthest - (food would of been colder)... THE CHAT AGENT shut the CHAT EARLY not even listening i have the screenshots below for your review! Horrible NO REFUND - NO DINNER - NO MORE DOORDASH AGAIN!

This company has been rude and misleading! Within the last 24 hours I have had 5 representatives disconnect my online chat without even a word to say they were disconnecting. This is the equivalent of having someone hang up the phone on you while your filing a complaint.
The issue is the dash pass. Let me start by saying that the last time I ordered through doordash, I added a second card for payment of THAT order. The app auto-selected that I wanted this card for my dash pass. I intentionally changed that, indicating that I did NOT want to use this card for dash pass. I didn't get much use out of doordash and wasn't sure if I wanted to continue. On the 23rd, the original card on file was processed and declined. Two days after my original card on file was declined, doordash used the second card to process it. Even after I indicated that I did NOT want it used for dash pass. Why give me the choice if you're going to process it anyway?!
It is implied that I have a choice in the matter when I was given the option to indicate that I didn't want it used for dash pass. However, they gave me no choice when they ran the second card. If I hadn't big given the choice in the first place, which made me believe it wouldn't be used, I would have removed the second card immediately. Why not email stating the card was declined and you'll be running the second card? Then I would remember that I forgot to cancel the account and either cancel or update the card! They want to trap you into their service! I now have a $34 nsf fee for the $9.99 dash pass charge. Why would I want to pay a total of $43.99 for one month of doordash?!
AWFUL SERVICE & HORRIBLE COMPANY! Every representative has been rude, even the supervisor I called in and spoke with today. She said she couldn't do anything to help, so I asked her to escalate it to her supervisor- she said she would. When I asked when I'd get a call, she said, "To be honest, I can't escalate this issue so you won't get a call back." I was shocked and disgusted! She just said she'd escalate it! That means she lied by saying that to me and was just trying to get me off the phone. If I'm not getting a call because you can't escalate it, how are you escalating it?! DISGUSTING!
I ordered chicken wings from Ralleys through the DoorDash app and they delivered to wrong address and refused to give a refund. So I canceled the service and tried to stop payment to them. Waiting on answer currently.
I had an accident that door dash stear my money by adding heading miles without prior notice causing me drive 16 miles with out prior notice in houston tx i lost too much money,,,,,, some of customer assist said that they dont have super visor to talk to i plaim the city of houston that allow them running without office in houston
I never got my money back or my food and when I talk to them they told me I'm not getting it and when I cancel it and it said I was getting my money and now I'm not crazy

We had to end up using 2 drivers. The first one gave us the wrong order, because she didn't read the order number, and gave us some other Larry's 5.00 order. Then I called taco bell complained to them, then my husband called the doordash number and complained. They sent another driver to go pick it up, and that drivr was too damn lazy to find our house, so he (ben) decided to leave our correct order on a bench outside in front of the office at the mobile home park we live at. The food was ice cold. So my husband called door dash again and told them he wanted a refund and that we'll never use door dash again. The drivers we had need to be fired. The first driver should have matched the order number. So don't use this delivery if you can help it. So NO RATING! Piss poor servive!
With ANY service, I tip after service rendered. Please don't expect a tip from the start because it's merit based, and unfortunately for the Driver, it's based on quality of product. I will tip but it would be reduced depending on service & product
.Don't even mess with this company. They're crooks. We got off at work at 8:00 in the morning and ordered dinner before bed. Part of that dinner was two small ice creams. We're both allergic to cherries. We specifically stated not to place cherries into the food. I took screenshots of that request. They put cherries in the food anyway. I was tired after having worked a double shift at the hospital and wanted to go to bed. I decided that I would deal with Doordash when I woke up. I contacted them and I told them I specifically asked them not to put cherries on them. They put cherries on the ice cream anyway. Doordash refused to refund our money. We had to pay $10 for ice cream that we could not eat despite having specifically told them not to put allergens on our food. When speaking to Doordash they wanted proof that we requested no cherries. I said you're not able to access our order where it says no cherries? She said she wasn't. So I showed her a screenshot. Then they wanted pictures of the ice cream. Pictures of ice cream. Pictures of ice cream we ordered at 8 in the morning and at the time I was speaking to this person it was roughly 1:15 in the afternoon. They would not give us a refund because we didn't have pictures of ice cream that we ordered five and a half hours earlier. They refuse to give us our money back. We told him if you don't give us our money back we're going to do a charge back on our credit card. They finally did give us the money back for food we were never able to eat and specifically requested that they not place allergens. Doordash banned our account and we're not allowed to use them anymore all because we were insistent they not steal money from us for services they did not render. The services was delivered food without allergens in it. They did not do that they expected to not have to refund us for food that we couldn't eat.
Either you allow DoorDash to steal your money or you can't use their service. These people are disgusting. They are. Crooks
Beware of door dash. I have never used their service but was charged $9.99 a month for dash pass that I never signed up for. I contacted customer service 6 times in an attempt to correct the situation. After approximately 2 hours on the phone they could not find an account or the transaction. I was basically told that the charge that I had confirmed with my bank was not form door dash and they can't help me. When I requested to speak to a supervisor, I was told they do not have the ability to transfer the call and it would be 48 hours for a supervisor to return my call. I would not recommend this company.
Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Found a rock in my food and they would only refund part of my order, like my family wanted to eat food that came off the floor. DON'T USE THIS SERVICE IT IS NOT WORTH YOUR HEALTH!

False advertising, horrid service, atrocious accuracy, rude drivers and customer "service", unethical, criminal and just trash! They can steal your money in less than a second but somehow it takes a week to refund your money. I have zero respect for anyone associated with this dump.
I would give no stars if I could. I placed a grocery order and was able to cancel as the order hadn't been shopped yet. However, I was still charged $91.58 and they wouldn't refund me, no one would help me or do anything to resolve this issue. Normally, on other apps, if you cancel an order, it I'll say, you can cancel but you will still be charged (if that's the case), however it didn't say anything so yo my knowledge, there was no issue as nothing had been shopped yet. I just find it extremely unethical and disgusting. Very bad business. Do not support Door Dash!

Answer: First, DoorDash collects a tip BEFORE you get service. I always tip, so should you. Ubereats lets you tip AFTER you get service - better. Caveat - getting your tip back from DoorDash for bad service is almost impossible.
