Orderd threw doordash, driver only grabs half the order. When contact the driver she say with a attitude I'll bring you the other haft in about 30 minutes when I'm back in the area. 3 hours later still no order. Finally just canceled and refunded 3 weeks later undelivered food. NEVER AGAIN. Not worth the aggravation.
Make sure that if you cancel doordash and it tells you that you can use your benefits till a later date to check to make sure that they don't cancel it and refund you a pro rated rate and then tell you. You have to sign up again, to continue to use it even if you wanted it to cancel on the date that I said it was going to.
Basically stealing little buts of money unless you see it and contact them. Then they will tell you its automatic and they cant do anything. I had to figut and tell them they were stealing money from me since they auto refunded less than i paid, i was able to get them to refund the other bit but had to press for 20 min for.59 cents... that adds up
They steal your money! Every time I order something, either it wasn't delivered, or half of the order was left out. I called multiple times, they were super rude, and they never delivered my food or refunded me. I finally canceled my DoorDash pass. Please, please, please don't order from here, and use GrubHub or UberEats. Instead, they have much better customer service, and do not steal from you. Additionally, they have much more trustworthy drivers, who are not as creepy.

Please tip your driver with cash. If possible. In most instances, the driver will not receive your tip at all. We as drivers greatly appreciate cash tips... Please pass the word to others you know use the Doordash app. Thanks greatly.
They dont give you all of the credits in the money you spent, they will 9nly give you a part of your cash back. The drivers do not know how to read. The app will not place the order at the closet restaurant in your area and will have it being picked up in ohio instead of in ky if you live in ky you could be sitting outside of the restaurant and order and it would still send it to miles away so your food is cold. Worse app ever. I'll stick to going out and picking up my own food.
Said it was going to be an hour waited hour and 15 called the dasher said he hasn't even put in the order... Canceled and was still charged for the food.

Hello, I was ordering food from Mcdonalds at 1:28pm, the driver didn't show customer service was rude. To then deliver me stale donuts and flat undrinkable soda I did not finish because the quality of the product was unacceptable. My order did not arrive until 2:04am. It took 12 hours to get my food and customer service was not helpful. I have pictures of our conversation that they could not help me with as I was waiting 12 hours and still charged and not refunded. The lengthy wait and rude service still didn't give me a refund. I had been expecting a full refund. And would appreciate a stipend of appreciation for my time and consideration of association.
The Doordash in Springfield Va has gotten really bad. In the past month I have had 3 orders cancelled hours after I placed them, because they couldn't find a dasher. Today I had one order cancelled because the business didn't actually carry the products on their menu, and the other order I placed was delivered but missing half of the meals. Just really terrible service all around, on numerous occassions.
Got double charged after only receiving half of my order then said they didn't change me again and they added more on for the tip. I was on the messageing help service for 3 or 4 hours getting the whole round about for nothing because they don't want to resolve the issue. And still didn't help me resolve my problem they said they didn't see any problems after investigating then I called my bank and said they did double charge me and it if goes threw to call my bank again and they would get the money back for me. Absolutely rediculous. Would give 0 stars if I could.
I had some fraud made by some employes or clients in my bank account from restaurants around montreal. An employe of my bank tangerine was suppose to cancel the cards so I had more frauds from DooDash all that between end of January and febuary 02 2023. Tangerine still how me around 125$. Yesterday I made my grocery online with MAXI to discover that the delivery that was suppose to be free from an optimum promotion. They put 3 charges delivery 4.99$ fees of 1.00$ for? And to top it up 5$ for the driver tip! The drivers are from DoorDash! They decide to charge me 5.00$ tips on my card! And when I cancelled because I don't want nothing to do with that company much less give them a tip of 5$! I give 2.00$ tip because I don't work because I am sick and I have mobility problems waiting for my hip operation! MAXI AND DOORDASH decided to charge me 11.50$ for some other illegal fees!
I ordered my lunch with doordash and I saw that my delivery driver was nearby and then my order stated it was delivered I never received my food and that was today October 9th 2019. Im soo disappointed.
I am so sick of Doordash. This isn't the first time I've placed an order only to get no order updates, had to call the restaurant myself and get confirmation that the order has been sitting there ready, and go pick it up myself after waiting for 45 minutes-over an hour. Then when I call Doordash the line is either dead or "not in service" and the chat says it's unavailable. I AM BEYOND DONE.
My daughter ordered 30 dollars worth of pizza from door dash yesterday. The driver Dena delivered the pizza to a wrong address, when my daughter contacted door dash she was told that they wouldn't replace her food and that she wouldn't be getting her money back, they gave her 11 dollars door dash credits. It isn't my daughter's fault that Dena made a mistake. I feel like my daughter was scammed. I posted this on Facebook a few minutes ago and I've already gotten several comments from others that have been scammed. I think a class action law suit is needed
I stopped using this horrible service over a year ago. Their Dashers suck and their service sucks! NEVER EVER AGAIN!. They hire dishonest, unprofessional people who belong in a warehouse where they never have to come into contact with the outside world.

The only reason I used doordash was because the restaurant I ordered from used them for delivery. I never received my order and I'm being harassed by the driver. I called doordash after the order was an hour late even though the restaurant is literally around the corner from me. They suggested I call the driver and gave me his number (?!), so I did. He told me "it's not my fault that I gave the wrong address" and then hung up. I called back and the call was declined. Then HE called back and of course I was angry and had colorful words for him... and after him saying I can't talk to him that way and that I was being recorded and he was going to sue me. I called and reported him to doordash and the restaurant. He then called me again the following day. So I had to report him again. Doordash made another report and suggested I report to the police as well. NOW, I have a doordash guy harassing me just because I ordered food and expected him to do his job and now I worry for my safety.
You should be able to see the location of the places you are choosing from and they should send dashers to the location of the establishment closest to you. Also they need to keep food temperature appropriate. They are gonna poison people.
My order from Checkers in Detroit was taken, my card was billed, waited 2 hours, then my order was canceled with no ability to contact doordash. Eventually my card was credited with no other Communications from doordash. Lousy service, lousy product.
Doordash is a very very shady business. I just deleted my account even though I have Chase Sapphire Reserve which provide a free premium membership for Doordash. With all of that I deleted my account, this is how bad business DoorDash is
I downloaded the App as a driver, I have a primary job and downloaded the DoorDash app as a secondary source of income, however since I did it I have not had the chance to use it for the current workload I have, DoorDash called me 3 days in a row to make pressure on me to start doing deliveries and harass me asking for a commitment to start delivering next weekend... Are you kidding me? Hahaha, a commitment I replied to this guy on the phone, Do you pay me a salary? Do you offer me benefits? No? So I have nothing to do with you, get lost and stop harassing people! So I blocked the number and deleted the App, DoorDash is a horrible company with a lack of values. DoorDash is terrible!

Answer: First, DoorDash collects a tip BEFORE you get service. I always tip, so should you. Ubereats lets you tip AFTER you get service - better. Caveat - getting your tip back from DoorDash for bad service is almost impossible.
