Really easy to navigate website and the cheapest prices. Booking was simple and confirmation was immediate, followed next day by e-ticket. I managed to lose my email, but Jim from Customer Services was really quick at having it reissued for me. All round excellent experience.

Why I should choose one star from them, they do not deserve. Standard approach is to take your money right after you handed in a booking, but do not make ticket for you! You spend a thousand attempts for communication, if you call, waiting in the busy line for hour, then they ask u to send an email only, if you send email, they either don't response, or keep lying (such as lying that they are preparing a refund for you this week/this month etc-which never cashed out). After several months you're tired of such invalid communication, they assume money is theirs. So easy. Commercial fraudster and criminal! Stay safe, don't try this 'Company'.

The company is a whole con. Charged for flights 6 months ago told us tickets would release two weeks prior to departure and at last week said tickets are unavailable

Inform trading standards? The matter should be looked into by an authority because it has been occuring for years. If enough people report, some justice shall be done, hopefully.

After airline cancelled my flight, my refund was supposed to be processed on August 2020. Sumera/sales consultant promised me my refund by May 8,2021 at the latest. Since then, still no refund. So after repeated attempts to contact them and being ignored, M Taha Khan from Finance Dept finally responded and said it was a problem with my bank. My bank said no attempt was made from them to transfer money. Bank asked for a transfer attempt receipt which dreamworld travel could not provide and ignored my request. This all sounds like a scam and a lie by Dreamworld. Since then, I've sent repeated emails and WhatsApp texts for followup with no response. I've offered alternate accounts, no response. They've even lowered my refund amount beyond the 35 GBP admin fee without explanation. This refund means a lot to my family. My family needs this money during these hard times. Dreamworld has been so apathetic and inhumane to my dire situation. I need them to do something! I've got no choice but to post this review and post other reviews on other sites. I'm so appalled I driven to follow the advise of others to contact every agency (US/UK gov websites, intermediary groups, CMA, N1 claim, etc). When the world is experiencing so much hardship, how can this company be so callous!

My £18,069 flights were cancelled at the end of March 2020. No communication from Dream World Travel to advise.
Placed a refund request and was advised I would be refunded in 4 - 6 weeks.
No further correspondence.
No refund
No flight!
Disgusting.
18 weeks later and still NOTHING!
WHAT ELSE CAN I DO BUT WARN ANYONE LOOKING TO BOOK WITH THEM. DON'T!

Anyone under the illusion that this is a company to trust your holiday with just try calling the sales line (not customer service) and say you are trying to sort out a refund for a canceled flight. Then see how long before they hang up. I got to refund and immidiatly was cut off.
I have waited since April for a refund. The ammount they want to keep goes up and the number of times the money will be in my account within 72 hours is still increasing. They even asked for the bank details again and admitted that they had got the money from the airline. Tried a chargeback but the building society would not push them when they refused it.
This company will probably soon be wound up. It is just a front with 3 employees, that takes money and holds onto it any time a flight is cancelled.
Before booking again I will check a companies reviews and avoid the nightmare companies.
I recommend Jet2 who give refunds without asking within 2 weeks. Chalk and cheese with dream world.

Tip for consumers:
If flights are normal then all OK but when things go wrong expect a whole world of pain and loosing your money. And don't forget the hours waiting for the phone to be answered or more commonly hung up after 20 to 50 minutes.

I have been waiting for refund since past 1 year + and still no refund. Always received false promises that they will refund money. It's a scam company.

I booked a ticket with them in May 2020 to travel in September 2020. I requested a refund 5 weeks after booking the flight as the government advised that traveling to this country is restricted and on amber alert. After contacting by E-mail for a refund I was told that I would get an E-mail to confirm the refund had been processed. Never got one! I had to contact this company by E-mail, facebook and WhatsApp to get a reply. Only to repeat myself in every single method of contact possible. No one knew or could tell me what was happening. Tried to call their number but their website has a wrong number as well as any other number which was always busy. I understand the High level of calls and E-mails you are getting during covid. However, the customer service is appalling. Only contact I get was Facebook messenger and had to deal with 2 members of staff on their too explaining my circumstances twice. I get told "wait" when enquiring about an update which left me shocked at the abrupt comment! Yes, cheap flight but i'd rather pay more for a better service and a reliable travel agent.

Don’t book it’s a hassle to speak to anyone. Might as well get scammed!

After ensuring my money was in their account they emailed to say the price was no longer valid and I could pay more or ask for a refund. I asked for a refund which did not come in the original timeframe of 10 days, they then emailed me to offer a voucher instead then when I phoned they said it would be paid in 72 hours. A week later no sign. So rang again, more verbal assurances the refund would be paid then emailed with screen shot saying it was paid into a bank account giving last 4 digits of bank account which WAS NOT MY BANK ACCOUNT! To which I replied telling them it was not my bank account and warning them I will report them for fraud if money is not paid. I won't hold my breathe for my refund!

THEY ARE SCAMMERS! KEEP AWAY! We bought air tickets from them and on our way back the flights got cancelled due to Covid. We travelled back by another airline emergency flight additional full fare. After reaching to UK, we applied for the partial refund on our tickets with this company run by crooks. They kept promising that they are waiting for the refund to process every time we make enquiry. It is now coming to almost 2 years since we applied for the refund. Now they have even stopped responding to our emails and complaints! I had another relative who bought tickets from another company and travelled with us and they got their refund in a month's time of applying for it here. Dream World Travel are literally unscrupulous scammers, cheaters and an unethical company! And when it comes to service, there is none and if you try to claim money back for some reason, even if it's your right, you can forget it. There is no regulatory body, no airline help and no government help to get it back, unless one takes them to the Court.
I would be very, very sceptical of good reviews here, they appear to be written more to offset negative reviews and do not talk about any specifics. Look at the majority of negative reviews, they speak for themselves!

Ordered a plane ticket through them. Never sent the the e ticket, told me to wait for it. Checked with the airline and a booking had been made but they hadn't made a payment for it. Have requested a refund and getting nowhere. Will be using Section 75 as I purchased it on my credit card. Very, very bad service and it takes a long time to get through on the phone. At which point they try and fob you off saying they need more time. These positive reviews seem very off, please listen to all of us who have actually experienced this company. Avoid, and just pay a little more. It's not worth this hassle to save a little bit of money.

They called who I had purchased the ticket for. Said they wanted to assist with the booking. Once they heard we want a refund quickly ended the call and didn't offer any more. Think only the credit card company can help me. Never known such a dodgy company.

They rang again to say they have given the money to their supplier who gets them cheap tickets, and they are the ones who can send the money back and we have to wait on. And that I have to email the refund department again and they'll get back to me. They never reply to the emails. As usual, going around in circles. Once you get to a deadline with this company they add more to their story and make a new problem preventing them sending you a refund. No supplier had been mentioned to be until now. So poor.

I booked the flight and departure date was 2nd May 2020 but the flight cancelled but they haven't notice me and I knew that I got the information my flight website.so I contacted the company and I hurried book another flight and paid much money by booking urgently. Even they hadn't given notice me, they still haven't refund money yet. So I don't know what should I do. They must refund within 7days after cancelled my booking by them. Even it's not my mistake, the company haven't refund yet. Can you believe that? I strongly not recommend the agency. They have no responsible at all to the customer. They must compensation to me as well.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. I did a pre-pandemic booking and it took me countless of calls and emails and only did I got back my money after like 7 months. They even levied a couple of charges on me despite they cancelling my flight. Everything kinda feel like a scam to me.

Will keep this factual. We bought our tickets in January this year for flights in August.

We tried to cancel the flights shortly after due to the poor reviews but were told the tickets had already been purchased. We requested on many occasions over the last five months. We have received a range of different reasons as to why we had not received the tickets, the most common being that it is in an issuance queue and cannot be retrieved. We have not even been asked for passport numbers. We asked for the airline reference number on many occasions but were not provided with this, hence it is not possible to get much detail from the airline as to the status of the flights. We have asked for proof from dream world that the flight has actually been purchased but have not had any evidence. After posting a review of our experience recently we were contacted soon after (this is the first time we had received a call in all our enquiries in the past 5 months). An answer phone message provided us a reference number. Unfortunately when inputting this into the airlines flight status checker it says that the flight cannot be found and may have been cancelled.

Very BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE I paid online for my two tickets and they took my payment twice and after that not responding to my emails and calls. Staff is untrained they don't know how to deal with customer just lying about everything and transfer the call to different department then disappeared still I am waiting for my money. Disgusting company unprofessional very rude staff.

The flights i booked to see my sons after a year and a half, were booked and paid for on the 10th February 2022 for flights leaving London to South Africa on the 17th July 2022 and returning 28th August 2022.

Dream World Travel never made the bookings with the airlines concerned. Upon phoning the airlines on the 17th July 2022 for seat bookings we were advised that the booking was never paid for or confirmed by Dream World Travel – even though attached confirmation emails and tax invoices were received – see attachments.

I have been scammed as per link confirmation taken from google reviews reflects... sitejabber

I booked early in February 2022 in order to get the price, now with the scam/mismanagement from Dream World Travel, the last minute flights to get my sons to me is going to cost an additional R100,000.00

Bought a ticket on Dec 24,2021 and made payment via credit card immediately. Got a payment receipt from them and an itinerary from the airline. A couple of days later, I tried to retrieve the ticket on the airline's website only to see it was unavailable. I contacted the airline, was told payment was never remitted so my booking was cancelled. Was asked to followup with Dreamworld travel for payment. After several calls that went unanswered, mails unresponded, whatsapp and Instagram messages ignored, I got a travel ticket on January 10, more than 2 weeks after payment was made. Exactly 3 days after Dream world travel sent me the e-ticket, got a mail from the airline the flight has been cancelled. Contacted dream world travel with this update immediately and a refund was initiated since all other available ticket alternatives did not fit my schedule. This refund process was initiated on January 13,2022 and approved on January 17,2022 (See correspondence attached). According to the approval mail, I was supposed to receive my refund between 12-24 weeks. However, it's been 36 weeks and I am yet to get my refund. I have called and emailed to no avail. No response or feedback of any kind.
You do not want to do business with the organisation.
Avoid them at all cost.

Welcome to the world of Dreams where all your travel dreams come true!' This is in the About Us section on their website. What a joke!

This could not be further from the truth. What an absolute nightmare it has been to deal with this company. Their customer service is non existent and they do not care about their customers in any way.
I requested a refund for a cancelled flight 17 weeks ago. They informed me on 15/4 via email, that my refund would be with me in 4-8 weeks. 14 weeks later, I'm still waiting. This is despite the fact that I have found out from the flight company that they have already returned the refund to DWT. So, what exactly are they doing holding on to my money?

I have more than 10 emails from them, all of which are generic responding to my emails querying the length of time this has taken. Th emails give me no information about my own refund claim other than the one dated 15/4.

I have tried many times to ring them to discuss this, but I've either been cut off or after queuing for an hour the phone reverts to an answer phone. Frustrating isn't the word for this company. They are an embarrassment to the travel industry.

They have been made to look even worse by the 4 other companies I've dealt with over refunds, all have paid out within the given time frame and communicated with me throughout.

Dream World Travel would do well to employ anyone who know anything at all about customer service, as they clearly don't have a clue. I am now pursuing further action in order to get my money back.

Do not touch this company!

"AVOID" This is a scam company making unreal imaginary bookings with no tickets.
This is a scam. Avoid being another subject to scammers.

Booked our flight in10/2021 for July 2022. Received an email from this travel agency stating there is a problem and despite their efforts, my booking is cancelled!
Contacted Egypt Air to find that they have not even booked the flight in the first place, and the flight was cancelled automatically on 10/11/2021 as the travel agency has not booked the tickets till that deadline of the automatic cancellation. The booking was not completed and no tickets were issued.
They kept silent from November 2021 till mid-July 2022 to say your booking has been cancelled.

I wrongly chose them as their price was £100 less than the original price on the Egypt Air website. I really regret my choice of these scammers.

Total rip-off. This company needs to be shut down for public protection.
