I can't review the product. I don't have it. I ordered 12/12. Order confirmation said product was in stock and would ship in 1-2 days. I chose the 3-5 day delivery option. On 12/21,9 days later, I received an email saying product had shipped and would arrive 12/28. Needless to say, Christmas will be late. When I called to ask why it took so long to ship an in-stock item, I was told that the item was back-ordered and that they had notified me on 12/17 of said status. Nope. I received 12 other messages from them it that time frame, but no notification of delay. Even if they had sent an email on 12/17, that was 5 days after the order that they said would ship in 1-2 days. I was told two days ago that I would receive a call from customer service. Nope. This was my first experience with Duluth Trading Company. I'm not convinced they care about their customers.
Bought my husband some work pants from Duluth and within 5 months, they split open at the crotch and the pocket split open. My husband is a foreman so he does not do strenuous work that would make these pants do that. I emailed the company and they sent me a return slip so I sent them back only to get an email saying I was not eligible for a return cause it was normal wear and tear. So I called and talked to a supervisor and she said there was nothing they could do. So not only we are out the $200 return, we are the pair of pants we sent them. So they do not stand by their guarantee at all and bad customer service.
I bought a leather belt about 10 years ago. It's clearly printed on the backside as Lifetime Guaranteed.
I'm still alive. It's my mistake that I would actually live longer than the belt... and the B. S. guarantee.
Really disappointed with the new version of the Firehose pants. Material feels like some sort of stretchy cheap knit. Pockets are now shallow, so when I sit or lay down, everything falls out. I've been buying these for years. Won't buy another pair. Carhhart pants for me next time.
Their advertising worked; I decided to buy a pair of firehose flex carpenter pants. Unfortunately, after wearing them roughly 5 times, I was building a deck one day, barely rubbed past a nail and tore a hole in the seat. I think literally every other piece of work clothing I have is more durable. Absolute garbage. To put the icing on the cake, customer service told me I'm out of luck (in friendlier and more political terms). No refunds or exchanges.
If Duluth Trading put some of their marketing budget toward product development, I'm guessing they would have much happier customers (albeit fewer of them... and we all know it's about the almighty dollar). Suffice it to say I will not be patronizing this company again.
First of all, after I purchased 4 pants (flaxpidition)the threads on the back pockets broke in the first 3 days.I don't even mention, I payed 90+$ for each,in few days price already 60+.If you going return something they will use new price. What a business(
Excellent winter wear. Excellant toys for Christmas.
I didn't care for the name brand underwear, weird fit, but their work pants can not be beat. Definitely try out the fire house and fleece lined products. Must have for cold climates.
Great add campaigns. Great returns.
I used to work for a Duluth Trading Retail store. It's one of the worst experiences on the planet. Customers are entitled and they don't read any of the signage in the store. There is a clear checkout line but they insisted on just walking up to any old counter. The managers were too busy feuding amongst themselves to get any work done. The clothing is overpriced. While we did inventory the actual cost to make $30 underwear was like $2.50. Ripoff. Also, customers, do not go into that store to pick up your online order if you did not get an email saying it's ready. Regardless of what the website says. Those poor part-timers have enough to deal with.
I have purchased the same pair of pants multiple times over the years at both retail locations and online. I have worn many of them until the bottoms are all frayed. The are a more expensive option than equivalent brands but I have been pleased in the past. Instead of contacting me to tell me the item that I ordered that was in stock when I placed the order- was no longer in stock and discontinued. The just cut corners to get the order out the door whether it was correct or not. It has gone from what I considered a top notch company, but now downgraded to a Buyer Beware! They no longer stand by their commitment to their customer and don't care about the consumer. I posted this same review on their website but conveniently it did not get posted -- so the reviews the do have on their website are probably fake.
I don't know what everyone's problem is but my family loves their products. I bought 2 pair of Flex Fire Hose pants for my son who drives for a living and he absolutely loves them. He and I both think these pants are very comfortable. They do shrink a little so keep that in mind. I like my Levi's, Wranglers, etc. but these pants are so much more comfortable and look good. Sorry I do not have my proof of purchase but I and my family are true customers. Denton TX store!
Answer: It is a scam. They don't follow their own policies. Buy elsewhere.
Answer: They profess to have a NO BULL guarantee. That's it, no fine print. But there is fine print, well hidden on their site.
Answer: It was not difficult getting Customer Service. My return was denied twice by email, twice by phone and once by a supervisor. It was the 5th effort that finally got me through to a supervisor who gave me the credit.
Answer: My order has taken over SIX WEEKS AND STILL NOT DELIVERED. Most ALL PRODUCTS ARE MADE, STORED AND SHIPPED FROM CHINA. You always get what you pay for!
Answer: You should call them and explain. They should replace them. Last year, they would have replaced them. They are different now so I can't say what they will do. If they refuse, call back over and over again until you get a reasonable agent on the phone. Ask for a supervisor also, if needed.
