If you decide you must buy from Duluth Trading avoid online orders. My most recent experience was that an order was delayed then changed because they did not have items that were indicated in stock when ordered. Above all do not use Duluth gift certificates. The order that was changed was paid with a gift certificate that resulted in an overcharge when changed because of an out of stock item. As of yet the gift card has not been credited. BOTTOM LINE - If you must buy go to a Duluth store and make sure you have what you want in hand before you pay!
Ordering is difficult. No email confirmation received and then with no notice my order was cancelled. When I contacted customer service they said I had not confirmed my address. No one asked me to. Now they won't process my order and say I have to reorder. How do I know that one won't be cancelled and how can I get the same sale price? I live in Australia, calling is not really an option.
A salesperson named Betty was the most helpful person and is perfect for her job. She is definitely a keeper. She was patient with me, helpful, showing me the differences between sizes and offering her opinion which, by the way was correct. Not all salespeople are so willing to take the time to be so helpful. Thank you Betty. Also, everyone in the store guided me through setting up an account, telling me what I will be receiving and definitely making me want to go back soon!
Previously, I had been pleased with Duluth Trading. My latest order, however, was shocking. Two of my ordered items were simply cancelled outright. Other items were subsequently placed on back order when that was not the condition when ordered. I think their customer service has taken a steep nose dive.
Can't believe 1st order ever and Duluth can't get it right. But hold on! That's right you'll pay for their mistake! They make you pay for return shipping or the wasted trip and fuel to return to a store! What a 1st class company to deal with.
Never again!
Since posting my original review, the customer service rep I dealt with was able to get my order expedited so I'll now be wearing my new coat on my trip up to Minnesota. I give that rep 5 stars out of 5, but the company's online process still gets 1 star. Overall a 4 thanks to customer service - I only wish I had gotten her name so I could give her the kudos properly.
The strap clasps are a terrible design. They have a small metal clip that keeps the strap clasp from spreading and coming off the button. If you lose it, which has happened to me twice, the clasp becomes useless. I wrote Customer Support and they said they do not sell or have them and that I should go to my local fabric shop. In other words, they do not support their products. Since nothing like this is on Amazon, I doubt if my local fabric shop has anything. They want me to become a seamstress. Without that small clip, the bibs become unwearable.
Terrible customer service on- line. Ordered 11/21/2020 received 12/25/2020 at 9:30 pm. I wanted them to cancel the order because I was unsure if they'd get it here, long story short, they wouldn't, told me none were available in the entire US. Hung up and called the local store and they had them... a lot of them. Picked it up called Duluth, they didn't want to credit the account. I pitched a fit and hung up. They finally credited me by email with no apology.
When I finally received it and sent it back as had been originally instructed and it was returned to me with a note saying I had to pay 8.70 to return. They notified me that I had received it and more or less wanted to know what the situation was. They were on top of that right away! I'm returning it to the store(20 miles away). But I will never order from them again.
" No bull?" I say nothing but bull!
Paid way too much for the briefs ($30+ per pair) and no recourse through Duluth Trading. Can't wear them, so have to throw out. Not happy. Since they do not stand behind their products, we will not be buying ANYTHING there again.
I can't review the product. I don't have it. I ordered 12/12. Order confirmation said product was in stock and would ship in 1-2 days. I chose the 3-5 day delivery option. On 12/21,9 days later, I received an email saying product had shipped and would arrive 12/28. Needless to say, Christmas will be late. When I called to ask why it took so long to ship an in-stock item, I was told that the item was back-ordered and that they had notified me on 12/17 of said status. Nope. I received 12 other messages from them it that time frame, but no notification of delay. Even if they had sent an email on 12/17, that was 5 days after the order that they said would ship in 1-2 days. I was told two days ago that I would receive a call from customer service. Nope. This was my first experience with Duluth Trading Company. I'm not convinced they care about their customers.
Answer: It is a scam. They don't follow their own policies. Buy elsewhere.
Answer: They profess to have a NO BULL guarantee. That's it, no fine print. But there is fine print, well hidden on their site.
Answer: It was not difficult getting Customer Service. My return was denied twice by email, twice by phone and once by a supervisor. It was the 5th effort that finally got me through to a supervisor who gave me the credit.
Answer: My order has taken over SIX WEEKS AND STILL NOT DELIVERED. Most ALL PRODUCTS ARE MADE, STORED AND SHIPPED FROM CHINA. You always get what you pay for!
Answer: You should call them and explain. They should replace them. Last year, they would have replaced them. They are different now so I can't say what they will do. If they refuse, call back over and over again until you get a reasonable agent on the phone. Ask for a supervisor also, if needed.
