I bought some spray guns from Eastwood and they included information about pre-use cleaning that I haven't found elsewhere. Of course everything they mentioned was true and things worked just the way they said it would. There are other tools that are on my wish list.
I ordered a TIG welder and a few accessories. When I received tracking I found it was sent to a 10 year old address even though I provided a current one.
Now, the torch was on back order, a fact they failed to let me know about. When the box arrived I was unpleasantly surprised to find the torch and accessories missing.
I was offered excuses about database migration to a new billing system, but that the delay would be "weeks, not months" like that makes it better.
When it was shipped it was AGAIN sent to the wrong address. Even though I contacted them they did nothing about it and it was sent back. After being hung up on several times I got someone who SEEMED to know what she was doing. She promised it would be sent in the next day or two. Now, a week later, I find it has just been shipped and no tracking is available nor any verbal estimate on its arrival beyond 8 - 10 days.
I'm sending it all back!
Order a week ago. Eastwood took my money, but never received my shipping email. Emailed customer service. No reply. Called. Said order is processing. Asked to cancel. Said they cannot. I hope I get my order and this is not a scam. Usually companies only take your money once the order ships. Seems like a scam to me.
Hello Justin, Thank you for your feedback. I was not able to locate an order with just your first name. We do not bill until your order has shipped. What you are seeing on your card is an authorization. As soon as your order ships you will get an email with the tracking information. They need to learn how to communicate. When I place an order provide me updates. All I get are spam emails. Order was placed a long time ago. Have heard nothing from them and the status just says processing. Just going to assume they are a scam and chalk it up to do better research next time before I buy online with someone.

If an item is back-ordered it will tell you the current estimated restocking date in the details of the item in your chart and on the product page. If your order is 30 days old we also email out an extended backorder notice. Once your order ships, you will receive two emails. One email is a shipment confirmation and the other email contains the tracking number for your shipped product. We do recommend that you check your spam filter. The status of your order on your online dashboard will stay in processing until your order ships. They sent me the wrong item then when I contacted them they said that that's what I ordered. I sent him the packing slip with the right # on it and I get no response. So I paid $65 for some markers. The tool I wanted is for feeding Tig wire for my disabled hand.

Emailed them over a month ago, no response. I guess they know they sell Chinese crap. Tig 200 won't create an arc in either power input. I want a repair or money back, a response to email would be nice.

I placed my order and it was to show up on the following Saturday. It never showed and Eastwood had zero information including tracking. I filled out their form for support. I got a bot answer back with videos and a promise of a human follow-up. Never anything from them I filled out the form 3 different times with 3 bot emails back. I insulted them and still nothing. Three weeks later my order wonders in with zero communication from Eastwood. Do not blame this on covid as it is just that Eastwood doesn't give a crap about us. Be very careful doing business with Eastwood.com. The first and only time I've done business with them and they tried ripping me off, and I spent well over $500 with them. Charged my card and then didn't send all of the products that I paid for. Then they tried charging two more of my cards without my authorization. If you value your money buy from someplace else.
We have been communicating with buyer all along on this and we greatly appreciate his purchases. Buyer placed five orders in one day, all of which shipped in a timely way. In good faith, we shipped one of his products, which arrived to him on Dec. 9th that has not yet been paid for. The issue here is on the buyers' side, not ours.
Eastwood is one of those companies you should research first, they are notorious for high pricing, shipment gouging, and slow delivery. They will not allow cancellation of an order, on a $75 order there was an additional $25 for shipping. Most of their profit is made in shipping. I would say it's mostly my fault for being in a hurry, and not doing my research, I found the exact products on eBay for 25% the cost and free shipping.
Thank you for your review Richard, I do apologize that your experience was not up to par. I do see that your order did have a shipping fee of $25. This was the direct shipping fee from FedEx for your order. We do offer free shipping promotions through out the year. We did have free shipping on order over $150 but your order did not meet that threshold.
Have you ever ridden a marry go round? If not then this is the place to buy things from if you want to go in circles... The way they do the orders are horrible and tracking numbers never get sent to you. Also the overcharge is a hoot when they double up your $1100 dollar purchase and subdivide it into a few different withdrawls that add up to more than your original completed purchase price and then after that hit you for almost another $1000 out of your account by "mistake"... Horrible service!
Will never be a returning customer and never thought they would do this considering they have great product reviews and awesome how to videos on the web. I honestly should've went with another company for my welding supplies.

Answer: Hello Don, after the 3-year warranty has expired we recommend that if any malfunctions happen with your welder; the welder be taken to a local repair shop. At that point, a call can be placed to our customer solutions department to purchase parts to have the welder repaired.

Answer: Charles, Admittedly, we've had a tough time with a total system overhaul that occurred at the end of August 2016. We've come a long way since then but have run into other issues as Laura points out, where the black powders got mislabeled leading to glossy black being packaged as satin black.
