They picked me up 15 minutes after i called and offered me a ride back home, after i returned the car. I've rented a car from this location five times in the last four month's.
Rental car refused due to credit score but this site never refund or give credit. Of course rental car company fully refund the money to economybooking

Hired a vehicle to be picked up from the airport. Received email and voucher with instructions on what to do at the airport. Upon arrival at the airport I followed the instructions and called the car hire provider on the number provided. The car hire firm easirent.com did not answer the phone. After frequent calling and getting no reply we had to take a taxi from the airport to our destination. Upon calling easirent the next morning I was firstly told that I did not phone the previous evening, told them I could provide evidence of calls, then they told me that no one would have been in the office at the time of calling and finally I was told that no car was available as one had not been booked and to take it up with the broker. I phoned economybookings.com and was told by the person I spoke to that I would have to send an email regarding my situation. Whole Easter break was ruined as my family and I were unable to book a hire car and also could not visit family. Five days later and I am still awaiting a response from economybookings.com plus refund of money.

No stars! Absolutely horrible!
Do not use EconomyBookings.com. The quote I received was incorrect by $180! The amount payable now (paid to Economy Booking when booking the car ($30)) was also not taken off the rental price at time of pick up. I contacted Economy Bookings; no available person or manager to talk with (any issues you have to send an e-mail – wait 7-10 days for a response). In the automatic reply (received when sending a complaint/issue), the e-mail gives a number to contact an agent ("We will contact you back within 7-10 business days for the future investigation. For more information you can contact our agents by phone: *******1133 (Mon-Fri, working hours: 9:00-18:00, EET)"). The number is not a working number. I contacted Economy Bookings for a correct/working number. I was told there was no number and that the e-mail I received did not give a number. The service representative was not at all helpful, hanging up the phone on me. Save yourself the headache, this company has extremely poor customer service. Adding to this is that what they quote you for a rental is not the price! Buyer beware!
If you don't mind receiving a notification that they have cancelled your reservation (even after paying), and being stuck without a car, then go ahead and book with them. We got stuck in Rome (and a crappy hotel -and the added expense) simply because they promised and didn't deliver. I will never book from them again.
I received the following message the morning I was scheduled to pick up my car:

If you did not request this, it may have been cancelled for a number of reasons:
1. Booked car is not available and we don't have any alternative proposal.
2. Short time prior arrival and we can not proceed with confirmation with our supplier.
3. Because Booking Group was unable to charge a deposit from your credit card and you have not logged in to change your credit card details - or something similar.

Skip the counter is the only way to go, when booking selected "Standard SUV" which later showed up as "Ford Edge or Similar" wasn't super excited about and edge being considered a SUV but when we arrive we had a Highlander available..
I had bad expereicne with this company booking and their customer service.
I had booked a car on 30 Sep 2023 at Toronto airport.
My booking is not included CWD insurance according to their rental agreement, as such, I have to buy the CWD from the rental car company when I pick up the car. However, the insurance of CWD offered from the rental car company is overpriced. The car rental for 29 days is USD1014, but the rental car company additional charge me the CWD insurance additional USD1500 for this period. I considered this price is not reasonable and refuse their offer.
I did not pick up the car finally and sent an email to report the case to the customer service and request refund. But I did not recevie their reply for until today.
The customer service till 30 Oct 2023 still do not provide any feedback and refund to me. It must be a scam and I will report my case to different media channels to avoid other tourists become victims.

The final page that indicate the final price does not reflect the price you owe the actual rental car. I called Budget rent a car and was told I owe way more than what the company quoted me. I called Economybooking and was told I should have read the final print since It says price does not reflect actual taxes and fees from the car rental company. This website is a scam! I told them I want to cancel and that their cancel policy stated it would only take 2.6 % of the prepaid amount. The customer service personal said the prepaid amount is non refundable and that they have changed their cancellation policy. I quickly took a snap shot of the policy before they could change it. I called my credit card company to dispute the charge since I have the screen shot. I will also call the better business bureau to report the company. They also tried to up charge me by changing the pick up time so it ended up being one day more. This company is a scam! Please spare yourself the headache by booking else where.
I actually reported this company to the attorney generals office for fraud as they used and stored my credit card without authorization making MULTIPLE UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES that I confirmed with the car rental agency that no payment from this website was made to the rental agency for a rental. I used momondo to complete a rental booking and this website intercepted my reservation. Thry used phishing to fraud me. They stole my money completely and should not be in business. I will continue to pursue this to the fullest extent of the law and have hired legal representation. This is disgusting.

I placed my reservation months in advance, when I got to the airport I was told to call a number and someone would pick us up in 10/15 minutes. It took 25 minutes and the driver had not been told to pick us up, he was dropping people off. When we arrived at Economy Bookings location, which was a tacky hotel lobby, we were informed they had no car for our reservation, but they had mad a reservation at the airport counter of budget for us and they where covering the $223.24 difference, but we would have to take the bus back to the airport. Needless to say they did not cover the difference and the budget rep had no information on Economy Bookings or partial payment. I have since heard many horror stories of this company and I am still trying to recover the funds they charged my credit card as well as the difference I had to pay. You cannot talk with a person you have to contact them by email... Its all a very large disappointment and not an easy company to deal with. Do Not Rent from them! I had to give them 1 star to post this review but I would not even give them on star! Update Aug 2016 They have never refunded or paid the money they owed us! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!

I use economybookings all the time and I have NEVER had any issues! They are strict about policies but they are all clearly stated! For example, I had a client change plans and I wanted to add a day but I would've had to cancel the entire booking (with a fee) and rebook. WHICH SUCKS... BUT ITS CLEARLY STATED! YOU GET GREAT RATES BUT THEY AREN'T REFUNDABLE! Not their fault it my client changes! :) Need flexibility? You may want to go elsewhere but if you want great rates, this company has saved me A TON! There have been times I will look to see if the car rental rates are the exact same. If so, I will always go direct to the car rental however, EB typically is much cheaper.

Together with a friend they took two cars at once! We found this search company, it was in the first place, therefore, we trusted in the search system
Answer: They do not just delay. When something goes wrong, they never intend to make good ony any of their promises: they do not call or write back, they do not follow up, and sure as hell they do not pay you anything unless you force them to, and that (in my experience) can only be done via the courts. This company is rotten and everyone should stay away from them.
Answer: Economy Booking is based in Europe and is impossible to deal with. I would never use them again. I got my money back (the down payment taken off at the time of booking) by using better Business Bureau and going after the US rental company.
