The car we were assigned only had a quarter tank of gas, so they offered to switch it (but we decided to keep it). Car was in a great state, and the return process was super fast and simple.
He was poorly oriented in the suburbs of Nice, and when he rented a car there was even a navigator in it! This is a convenient thing, I don't know where I would call, but the navigator helped :))
I used Economy Bookings to reserve a mini van for our family of six when visiting San Francisco. Because I had read a few negative reviews, I called them to make extra sure there would be a mini van available. I was told there definitely would be. Then, upon noticing that only 100 miles a day were allowed on the car, I called again to ask how much per mile it would be once the 100 miles is gone over (we traveled to yosemite and Sequois so I knew we would go over the amount allowed). I was told 14 cents per mile. Well when we got dropped off at the rental site, FLIGHTCAR, we were told that not only was there no mini van but they had no cars whatsoever to fit five people. And because there were no minivans available at any other rental companies, we were forced to squeeze into a five passenger vehicle. My kids were not happy to sit four across on one seat, with one not buckled because it was a seat meant for three. We got no discount for our inconvenience, and were charged 45 cents/mile over the allotted 100 miles per day. We will NEVER use economy bookings again. I'd advise anyone reading this to not trust them either. Unless you are just one or two people and will be happy with whatever car they have for you... if you have specific needs, do not trust them!
After renting and paying 976$USD via internet for a rental car for a month in Costa Rica, when I arrived there with my voucher to collect the car at the airport of San Jose. I can not have the car
My voucher saids that include
Unlimited mileage
Theft Waiver
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
VAT
Airport Surcharge
But the local rent a car company ADOBE oblige to my to pay an additional 576 $USD, because they say that CDW is not included, as is stated in my voucher. Then they make a phone call to the Customer Service manager on duty in London Mr. Max, he told to me that I ought to pay this amount and they later will return this money to me
I make several complaints with no success, up to now, with the Customer Support Service at Booking Group Team, at Economy Bookings central team in London, at the beginning they told me that would reimburse that amount but now after a lot of E-mails I have doubts of that

They always have a car ready at the time you reserve (unlike a lot of locations) and they usually cut you a break if you go over the 24 hour mark by an hour or two

Last June, I made a reseravtion through economybooking and got a car when I arrived to Budapest airport. However, the car company was very bad. They put exstra charges after my booking deal. They told me they do not know anything about economybooking insurance policy also. I got very upset and had to accept their insurance. The other problem was my booking was for 4 doors car. But they told me you booked for 3 doors.
I told this problem to economybooking, I asked them to refund the prepayment I made to them, but they were absolutely unhelpful, they did not refund my payment. Actually car rental company told me that economybooking is absolutely unreliable and I realized later that it is ABSOLUTELY UNTRUSTWORTHY DON'T TRY.

Answer: They do not just delay. When something goes wrong, they never intend to make good ony any of their promises: they do not call or write back, they do not follow up, and sure as hell they do not pay you anything unless you force them to, and that (in my experience) can only be done via the courts. This company is rotten and everyone should stay away from them.
Answer: Economy Booking is based in Europe and is impossible to deal with. I would never use them again. I got my money back (the down payment taken off at the time of booking) by using better Business Bureau and going after the US rental company.
