Very unprofessional team! Never report back! Spoke with 7- 8 representative, no one take things seriously. I have to pay from my pocket for connect flight at last minute! No one even notify for delay When you call... put your on hold... looking for supervisor... who is always on break! Look for other better options
Stay away from Explore Trip. I too was charged 2 AGENT FEES of $710 each and I'm unable to find anyone to take to at Explore Trip Customer Support - they don't answer. And Bank of America - my credit card hasn't been any help. These charges are more then the actual tickets. Seems like fraud pure and simple.
I booked a flight on exploretrip.com because it is cheap. But I realized how worse it is after making the booking. There is no option to cancel the booking online. They don't pick up the phones and they don't reply to our emails promptly. It is a pain to cancel a booking. I never had such a bad experience with any airline booking company.
Called air canada about my flight this week to Istanbul, where they haven't flown in quite awhile. They informed explore trip which had never contacted me, but evidently had changed my flight to Frankfort. Unbelievably unprofessional. Air canada has been amazing!

I received e mail that my reservation done on line wasnt completed( I am guessing credit card from soreign country/ security issue) so when I called back, person eas really unhelpful and kind of rude, so I cancell all together my reservation. Really bad customer services.
We were excited to book flights to Australia in February when we were seeing $260 one way flights! We were using Skyscanner, which showed that ExploreTrip had the cheapest ticket ($240). What a deal, right? Well, we booked our flight, then two days later we received an email telling us that they hadn't booked our tickets, there was nothing they could do, good luck finding new tickets. Of course, during those two days the prices had shot back up to $700. We had to delay our trip by 5 days just to find reasonable tickets again. Why did they wait 2 days to tell us? We could have booked with someone else. Instead, they screwed us over.
I booked a flight to the UK and received e statement showing the booking number, so everything was good. Later that night I received an email stating that they needed a copy of my credit card, a copy of my ID and a signed authorization form sent within one hour or my flight will be cancelled. I did not respond, but did get ahold of the airline and confirmed the flight had been booked. The airline assured me that the flight could not be cancelled, unless I give authorization. The airline seem to be well versed in dealings with ExploreTrip, as it was mentioned that if they try to cancel, I should be on the conference call with them to the airline to deny the cancellation, otherwise I could be dealing with them for days.
It annoys me that ExploreTrip requested those documents. Not professional at all.

The staff from Explore Trip employees to upper management are unprofessional and dishonest people.
I have cancelled my flight within company policies. I was told that it would take 3 to 4 weeks to receive my money back. Explore Trip delayed my refund for 2 months. I had complained to resolutions department at Explore Trip *******@exploretrip.com. They didn't have a courtesy even to reply back to me. I have contacted the airline I was booked with. British Airway replied to me that Explore Trip have never contacted them to submit my cancellation. Leiers, crooks and thieves.
There is no place for Explore Trip being in customer service period.
They have to be shut down and put out of they business misery by the authorities.
Great service. I purchased to tickets from Vancouver BC to Phoenix Arizona. The price was in CDN dollars but I got charged in US dollars. Phillip brown was very quick to fix the situation and was very helpful the entire process. Great customer service at exploretrip.
Very smooth very easy. Tried some other websites and it was more confusing. Said booking was one charge for leaving and returning but it wasn't! Almost double charged me! Like how clear everything was!

Air China is issuing full refunds for all flights booked within the next year, and ExploreTrip is NOT honoring this. Don't believe them when they say that the refund is only for tickets departing on or before 2020.
Ticket was canceled because billing address didn't match the passenger's address. When was trying to explain that it didn't match because I used my Dad's credit card, they wanted to fix it for another $240.
Shame of operation. Poor business
Ordered two tickets this morning for my husband and myself. They sent an email confirmation of the payment for our tickets but the e-tickets hadn't arrived. We called twice, and they told us it was on its way but we still hadn't received anything and just to wait. Finally, when we called back and the representative told us, they couldn't give us the tickets because explore trip had sold out the flight in the meantime and that they would only sell a new ticket for 300$ more.
They cancelled my ticket 2 days after I booked it, saying it was a problem on my banks side. When I called the bank, they said that the money was already taken, the bank did not block nor cancel the payment. There was no reason for why I shouldn't have gotten my ticket, other than the fact that as soon as I called the costumer service representative they tried to sell me a more expensive ticket. I asked if they can reserve my ticket until I figure out another way to pay (since they already took the money, but did not refund me yet), and they said no, it will be 200$ more expensive. So I went ahead and got it from another site. I am requesting a 200$ compensation.
Absolutely the worst experience buying a ticket with these scams. Please do yourself a favor and never book with them!

Suffice to say, that if you book with this company, not only are you wasting your money, but you are signing yourself up for utter frustration and anguish at the hands of their unsurpassed incompetence and indifference.

I always check my personal info multiple times before booking a flight and never had made a mistake writing my name but for some strange reason in this first time using ExploreTrip via skyscanner my name appears as Katerrine instead of Katerine. 3 weeks before my flight I notice this and call them only to find out that their representatives speak poor english and are trying to charge $150! To remove that one letter. I called the airline directly and they said it shouldn't cost anything but unfortunately they can't since it's a private fare. Explore Trip has not offered any solution besides paying the ridiculous fee. This is straight up abusive and will not use this service ever again.
Hey guys I got super worried after reading all these bad/scam reviews. Unfortunatly I bought my flight with them before checking. So far they have send their own confirmation code, wich does'nt match with any of the companies I supose to fly with. No e ticket! I asked for a refund and I am going to contact my credit card soon to try to block this transaction. Did you get your tickets at the end? Or a refund?
They did not honor the airline's 24 hour cancellation policy. I tried to cancel my flight within 24 hours and they told me I would be charged $100. They said it was because of the airline's policy even though I read their cancelation policy from their website.
I purchased a ticket with this company and received a confirmation. Hours later I was told that my credit card was declined. I emailed them asking them to try again and never got a reply. I sent them 3 emails on the next 48 hours, finally when I called them they told me that my reservation was cancelled, the reasons given were confusing and ambigous making it sound like the representatives were lying. At the end they offered me a new ticket (at 3 times the price of the original one, which I considered an insult). I gave up and decided to look elsewhere. All of their Costumer Service is based in India.
If I can give it less then one star I would. I repeat do not give them your business. Get in touch with your Mastercard, AMEX or Visa holder and make sure there are no odd transactions with Explorertrip. They dinged me two penalty fees for a cancellation made prior to 48 hours. I get that and I was cordial during our first conversation. They called me back again, wanting to reverse one, and charge me full for a flight, even though I have two confirmation emails saying I will be dinged 100 dollars x 2 for the cancellation. You will not be able to communicate with them at all. I promise you nothing will get done over the phone. I will be going to as many sites as I can to issue a firm warning. You get what you pay for an I will never book with them again. I'm posting this to as many review sites as I can. This is a wheel you do not want to spin.
Let's start with how horrible their customer service is. They'll keep you on hold forever and then they barely help you with your issue when they finally do answer. The only thing that kept me from rating it a 1 was the fact that their tickets were a good price. They spelled my middle name wrong g ont ticket so now it doesn't match my passport and claimed they weren't able to change my name. I'm not even sure if I'll still be able to fly. DO NOT USE THIS SITE unless you're willing to take the risk of them messing everything up.
I had to make a reservation for work to fly from San Francisco to North Carolina on short notice. I had to make sure the flight was booked and confirmed. When I realized my flight had not been confirmed I immediately called to cancel and made a reservation with the airline directly to ensure I would make it to my work location. This happened in the space of five minutes. When I called to cancel they told me that it would cost me $108 in tax fees. And on their website they say free cancellation within 24 hours and this was five minutes from the time I made the reservation. These people are CROOKS! CON ARTISTS! Book directly with the airline that's my advice!

Booked United airticket to Japan through them for cherry blossom in April. Now the Covid 19 pandemic make United cancelled a lot of flights which affecting me as well. Instead of following the United cancellation policy this travel agency refused to do so, they only want you to rebook the ticket with them and pay the different for their higher price ticket and you must complete the travel by the end of 2020. In one email, this agency said United approved my refund, but a week later said United is not approving refund. This explore trip website is a scam business without any integrity. Do not spend your thousands of dollars hard earned money with them.
This was my first time booking with ExploreTrip and I was definitely weary from all the reviews. However, when I booked my trip, the customer service was very quick with responding to my inquiry about making sure my ticket was confirmed with the airline. I've had bad luck with that in the past with other booking sites. But due to the Coronavirus, we had to cancel our booking. I was on hold for quite some time, but totally understandable due to the crazy amount of cancellations due to the virus. Being on hold was better than the busy signal from China Eastern Airlines. My boyfriend was able to get them on the first try a week before the outbreak. I eventually got Roney on the phone and he helped me and my boyfriend get a 100% refund for our flights, no questions asked. I was worried that my money would gone from all these reviews, but ExploreTrip made it right and refunded us our money. I am overall happy with my experience and would consider booking again for future travel.
We had booked our tickets from India to Toronto. However, due to COVID we couldn't travel. Explore trip promised to give us new tickets for different dates, however they are not staying true to their word. On top of that, on each call they give false hopes, blatantly lie each time on deadlines, donot transfer the calls to their seniors. They are basically a bunch of cheats, unethical professionals who have unfortunately received a license for business. Non competent, liars, and high grade cheats.
