These days shopping for the best price is "ultimate". Quality...you just have to trust. So far...I have been satisfied. Cost has risen enormously. Hidden fees? This is a popular one for ALL of the contact lens companies... Availability? I have not run into issues here. Shipping time has been reliable, I'm good here.
I ordered a pair of sunglasses on 6/20 and I'm still waiting for it. They told me a week after I ordered it that the shipment would be delayed 2-3 weeks. It's now been over 10 weeks since I placed the order and they won't even respond to my emails asking for an update.
This is my first time ordering from Ezcontacts and am very pleased with the experience overall. The customer service name Galvin Fein answer all my inquiry on time and with pleasure. Their glasses are very durable and are more my style than what I can usually find elsewhere. The Home Try On makes me feel confident in ordering and they are very helpful.

My item was missing a piece (the plastic nose part) and I believe they are FAKE. I held them up to a certified pair of the same glasses and they were completely different. I sent them back. Unacceptable. Will not be ordering from here again.
The glasses seem very nice, but it took a really long to get. Once you order you get an email confirmation and then you don't hear anything from them for weeks until you get a shipping notification. They should give weekly updates at a minimum.
I received my glasses quickly but found that there was a small chip on one of the lenses. When I contacted customer service, they informed me that I would have to send them back and pay a shipping charge to get a new pair. I believe this is poor customer service.
I really like my glasses but I think communication of order processing and shipping could be communicated a little better either via email or text. I was supposed to get text notifications but that never happened. After calling customer support I did receive information on when I could expect my order.
Glasses sent out 5 days after the maximum processing time stated on website. Tried to contact seller multiple times with zero luck. Phones were down. Paid for expedited shipping and received the glasses over 2 weeks after ordered - with expedited shipping and listed processing time should have been 1 week max.
Rex is always very prompt and helpful anytime I've email for assistance. I've emailed with him multiple times regarding different orders and he is always very quick, which is nice when you are worrying about a problem. My problems have always been resolved, I would highly recommend this company and Rex!
I am very satisfied with the glasses I received. I was hesitant at first to order them online but they are excellent quality and my prescription lenses are perfect. It did take a little longer to get them than I would have like but I would definitely buy from here again.

Tried to return my eyeglasses to get them with the right prescription and a week later still haven't received my shipping label. Just got contacted today and the person just said that I had already talked to someone else. What kind of response is that?

I really like the way Ezcontacts sell and ship their items. But buyers must be aware of the shipping time written under the product they are going to order. It may take 2 days up to 2 weeks depending on the availability of the item.
All of my orders have taken longer than the expected time frame that was advertised and the metal frames had a horrible fit and only lasted a few weeks before become extremely bent out of shape and unusable.
I placed an order on 09-17-20 for a pair of glasses with a simple prescription. It's now almost one month later and while I was charged the full price immediately I have yet to hear a single word from this company. I've sent emails and got an "out of office" reply that they were closed for a "holiday" the week of October 5th (what holiday?). The email said they'd be open on 10-12-20 and I've tried calling during normal business hours and only get a "sorry, we're closed" message. If I had known the turn-around time was this slow I'd have NEVER placed my order with them. They listed my item as "in stock usually ships within 2-3 days", never once was this long wait time mentioned. And now I can't get them to respond to me in any way so I'm pretty unhappy. I wasted almost $400. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
UPDATE: 11/11/20 Still NO glasses. Have been getting the runaround via email for the past several weeks.
TI purchased a versace frame from this site with Prescription lenses, my order was was easy and reasonably priced. Customer service was nice with answering the questions that I had before making the purchase.
I placed a order 2 weeks ago for 2 pairs of Sunglasses on Friday I received only one pair and still have not received an update on the second pair! Highly pissed because these were supposed to be a gift for my mother! Ezcontacts had lost my business!
Purchased frame and lenses. $450+. Received order in approximately 2 weeks. Vision was not good at all so I took them to my optometrist to be checked. They advised me that prescription was not correct. After advising EZ of the situation, I was told that they needed an affidavit sign by an optical facility to verify the faulty problem with my order. I got this done very quickly as I really needed my eyeglasses. I was told that my order would be verified after they received my return order and that it should be processed and returned within 10 days to two weeks. I reluctantly agreed to be patient and wait. After 10 days I called customer service only to find out that my order had not even been sent to the lab yet. To make a long painful story short, I was promised three weeks in a roll that my order should be " completed and shipped by next Friday". I finally received my redo order 6 weeks after sending it back to EZ Contacts. I would NEVER do business with EZ Contacts again.
I went to the store to buy the same pair of glasses and was told they would cost over 300 dollars. I then got them for less than 100 on EZContacts. It was a great deal and only took minutes to order! Would recommend this website to anyone!
I had placed an order with the incorrect card (forget to use my insurance card) and Daryl was able to help me cancel that order and re-do another in short order.
He was fast, very efficient and extremely courteous. Wish every company had customer service people like him!

This company grabbed the money from my account - nearly $200 - and didn't even ship - well it's been 11 days now and they STILL haven't shipped! I've called in twice and they tell me they are shipping soon and I'll be notified. Will never order from this company again.

Absolutely love the Jimmy Choo 106 frames, and the lenses came out great too! They shipped out fairly quickly too. In the past I've had more than one local eye center repeatedly get the lenses wrong, so it was a relief to get it perfect first time around.
My son loves his glasses. No complaints there. I ordered reading glasses for him 2 weeks before school and they arrived a week after it started. Annoying and had I known it was going to take two weeks to ship I would have paid extra for faster shipping
EZ Contacts had the best price after shopping around. They also had all the color/style options including what I was looking for. After placing the order they arrived lightning fast, I think I received them no more than 48 hours later. I am completely satisfied with this purchase.

The company should state if the frames are out stock. I had to wait well past their supposed turn-around time to get my glasses and only found out about the situation after I called to check on the past due order. I expect at least an email to let me know what's going on with the order instead of being told nothing about the situation until I call customer service.
