These days shopping for the best price is "ultimate". Quality...you just have to trust. So far...I have been satisfied. Cost has risen enormously. Hidden fees? This is a popular one for ALL of the contact lens companies... Availability? I have not run into issues here. Shipping time has been reliable, I'm good here.
I ordered a pair of sunglasses on 6/20 and I'm still waiting for it. They told me a week after I ordered it that the shipment would be delayed 2-3 weeks. It's now been over 10 weeks since I placed the order and they won't even respond to my emails asking for an update.
I would have given EZ contacts 5 stars were it not for their poor turnaround time. After numerous attempts at emails which received pro forma responses i was finally able to speak to someone and finally received an accurate status of my order and was assured my order would be rushed and express shipping would be provided and paid for by them. I am very happy with the quality of the glasses.
Items do not come with the timeline they have on there website. They give no explanation of why or contact you to let you know it would be late. The only good this site offers is cheap frames. I guess you get what you pay for.

They charged my card immediately after placing an order. They lied to me about shipping the order when they didn't even have the contacts in stock and still waiting for a refund after several demands so that I can get my order elsewhere. Avoid this site at ALL costs. I have notified all of my family and friends.
Though the site says 5-7 business days, they don't include that the it first has to be shipped from a warehouse to EZ contacts and then to the consumer. It took almost 3 weeks for me to get the glasses. I will say that I do like my glasses and trust they are authentic. Still recommend the site for inexpensive frames. Just factor in the longer shipping.
The Live Chat has been the most helpful customer service medium and I am thankful for the help that John Miller provided. Professional and to the point. Answered my question quickly and took some stress off my shoulders. Big thumbs up!
I have purchased both frames and lenses from this company and highly recommend them. Because you are ordering online, the frames will need to be adjusted but that takes a quick trip to an optician's. I will be buying more soon!

Took 3 weeks to get my glasses and received damaged/scratched glasses at the end. Had issue w coupon code from the very beginning that no one would honor. Would not recommend site to friends an will not order in the future.
I was apprehensive thru-out the whole process until I received my prescription glasses and they were perfect. Tech support Eddy answered all my questions & concerns to help me populate the online order form from the prescription provided by my optometrist.
Price is good, however, very bad customer service. I ordered glasses over two weeks ago, website implied a few days. Delivery changed 3x and still no glasses. Maybe find a more reliable delivery service or tell customers the truth about turn around time. If it was going to be over two weeks I certainly would have paid extra for quicker delivery.
Wont be doing this again second time ordering with late arrival but this time its later. Ordered a week ago contacts havent even been shipped yet so i dont know how long this will be now. Asked for a refund and kind of got an answer so we will see on that. Again definetly not ez or reliable. F n A
This site is a SCAM! They sent me 8 boxes of contacts that aren't at all like the samples I got from my doctor. I can't use them at all. I've tried all of the different ways to contact your customer service and I'm currently bouncing between caller #116 and #140 on the phone. Your chat functionality doesn't work (got kicked out of this 4 times today). No one responds to customer service emails, either. Thanks for ripping me off for almost $400. Ridiculous.
I ordered contacts two weeks ago. As other reviewers stated my credit card was charged immediately but I was given no further information on the status of my order. When a customer service rep finally replied to my emails inquiring about the status of my order I was told that they didn't have my contacts in stock and they would be shipped directly from the manufacturer. When I asked about tracking information I received no reply. After several emails to customer service the latest reply (today) stated that they have no tracking information and that if and when they receive it they will forward it to me. How do you charge a credit card without having the item in stock and without shipping the item. I am filing a fraud claim with my credit card company to be reimbursed for this order.
I have placed two orders with EZ contacts, and both times purchased priority shipping only to have my order take literally 4 times longer than anticipated lead times. Customer service stated that my order was "custom", which I find fascinating for 2 boxes of Accu-Vue 2 contacts... Even after wasting my priority dollars once they finally got them on the road the first shipping update was over a week later...? So even once called to attention they couldn't give me the priority shipping I paid for... You can't do that on something like contact lenses where no substitutes are available.
Bought the glasses on the 04/10 received the item on 04/25. Extremely slow order process. Ordered the glasses with AR coating; only one of the glass has AR coating on!? If they miss on this very obvious specification, let alone the other specs. Send the lenses back on 04/27, received by company 04/31, now 05/10 and no refund yet... what a professional company?!*
Ordered my contacts 10 days ago and have received no updates to order. I have tried to call customer service and have been on hold for 30 minutes. I am still number 18 in line, they need to change their name.
Super nice people. Great customer service. Glasses are perfect! I would highly recommend using EZcontacts. I ordered Dolce and Gabbana's for a great price. I got prescription lenses with all the perks and they are amazingly clear and easy to clean.
Not sure this company keeps any frames in stock and if I had to guess I would bet everything is shipped over from China which adds a considerable shipping delay. Their onlinecommunication related to the order status is pretty much non-existent. It took over week to get a reply after a month's worth of time with no delivery. Their website is misleading in that it says your credit card be charged until your order ships. Wrong, it was charged the second the order was placed. Definitely better online companies to deal with out there. I would pass on this one.
They glasses were super expensive. They didn't have much to choose from in my size. I didn't even get anti reflective coating or UV protection and it cost me about $100. I had the basic single frame lenses that cost too much. It took them about 3 weeks for me to get them. It was way past the 7-10 day mark because I needed them for school.
Placed my order on April 26 and today is May 14. I got part of the order and it is perfect with a good price. Problem is that my sunglasses have still not arrived. No updates from the company and no response to my email request. Called for update today and waited over an hour for phone response with no shipping date. I won't be ordering again.
I waited two weeks for the frames to even make it to the factory to get put in the lab. Must be so busy they forgot about my order. I had to contact the company twice bec I was leaving out of town soon. Glasses arrived within a month of order. I am happy with them though and everything came with a cloth and spray to clean the glasses also with extra frames.
The glasses themselves are great, fit well. The prescription works. Return policy and exchange took work. The only way I was able to send back glasses to exchange was to do a return then spend a lot of time trying to get a person (weeks no lie) to explain what I needed. Once I got a person it was easy as pie. Things do move slowly depending on what you want, though. I started this all on Jan 6 and between returning for exchange and getting them back took just under four months. A good 3 weeks was spent trying to get in touch with anyone to talk about the exchange and what I was looking to have done. When you do get a person they are very friendly and eager to help. So it's a mixed bag and you need to be patient.
When I ordered them I expected a month at most but it took almost two months to receive them. I'm satisfied how they came out and my prescription is perfect, just wish they got to my house sooner then they did.
The website said two days for processing and then the shipping method you choose. After two weeks of not having my classes I contacted them. They said it there was a back up and it would be a month before they could ship them out. Never offered a discount or anything. Wouldnt have notified me unless I contacted them. Next time I need glasses Ill go somewhere else. Even if I have to pay twice as much. Not happy at all with my experience!
