These days shopping for the best price is "ultimate". Quality...you just have to trust. So far...I have been satisfied. Cost has risen enormously. Hidden fees? This is a popular one for ALL of the contact lens companies... Availability? I have not run into issues here. Shipping time has been reliable, I'm good here.
I ordered a pair of sunglasses on 6/20 and I'm still waiting for it. They told me a week after I ordered it that the shipment would be delayed 2-3 weeks. It's now been over 10 weeks since I placed the order and they won't even respond to my emails asking for an update.
I had to kep after them to validate prescription and then contact them for shipping status. No apologies for not earning their money. 8 days now and still no tracking info. Requested cancellation of order and they ignored my request. Worthless
Only purchase if you are willing to wait 2 months. There is no communication with the status of your order, you have to call customer service and wait an hour to reach somebody. I had to change my order to a different style of glasses after I got tired of waiting 9 weeks. I definitely won't order again.
The website doesn't work well. During an order additional features/custom lenses were not clear and hard to understand/find, even for someone who isn't a novice. I had to follow up with customer service which wasn't so expeditious, but they did resolve my issue. I still had to pay extra money for something i didn't know until after the purchase was completed. The ONLY reason i used this company is because i was looking for a specific frame that was on this site. I dont know if i would do business with EZ Contacts in the future unless they have a frame that i cant find anywhere else. There are other websites that will get the job done. Nothing special about this one. However they did get 2 stars from me because they did deliver what i ordered, it was in good quality, and it was a bit cheaper than other sites. You get what you pay for though.
I regret not reading the reviews before I decided to purchase from this company. Same experience Its still processing (since January 19th). They sent one box and owe me for two more.
They were sure quick to charge my credit card for the entire order, I emailed, called tried the messaging only to receive a standard reply. They didn't even bother to read my email.
Never Again will I use this company. Now I am trying to get the remaining balance credited. I cancelled the other 2 boxes...
Fast shipping if you order contact lens but will rate very poor on eye frames and other stuffs. Beware, don't send an email for updates of order, I waited for a month, decided to call them after no reply. Ordered March 8th updated me that Gucci eyeglass prescription will be available on August... Then why make it available in their website and no follow up email. Ordered cleaning solution and eyeglass for laptop Gunnar optics, inquired for updates via email, as expected no reply. Decided to call them after a month and inform me where the hell I got those items and yet I got charge from my credit card.
They need to update their website and improve their customer service. But I don't have problem ordering contact lens...!
Price and quality are good, but thefirst pair of glasses I ordered in November never arrived in a timely fashion. Called customer service repeatedly to track down order. Finally, someone assisted and had the order shipped. Haven't received subsequent orders yet, so I can't comment except to say that it takes a long time to complete orders.
About to start, I honestly was a little reluctant to buy an expensive pair of glasses online. I bought one which was a name brand, progressive and transitional. Real Ray-Bans. It took a little longer to get namely 10 days but ezcontact's be staff responded immediately to my inquiries even upgrading the delivery method to 2 days as a courtesy. Most of all they look great. I feel like people are looking at me and I am an old Dude ( Strikes and Gutters).
Upon recieving my authentic Ray-Bans as cited, I discovered the frames were made in China... were you just trying to get rid of your trash? Is that why these were at a 'discount' of 60% for prescription glasses so you make money on the lenses and more off the cheap frames? I'd really like a reply back to this. Upsetting to think you came across such a deal. 2 Stars because Frames are still clean and get compliments.
Order never arrived. Noone answers phone for customer service. Been trying to call for weeks. 6 emails no answer. Sent messages via website. No response. Will never order from them again. 1800-contacts is more $ but atleast their reliable. EZ-Contacts is a scam. Crumb company.
I've ordered glasses from EZ 3 times. This time I was having trouble ordering online so I called my order in. Bad idea. The lady was very nice, but wrote down the prescription wrong. Called and they immediately resolved the issue and send me an RMA. Good customer service. However, when I called to check on my replacement glasses, after 10 days they told me that it would be at least another 5 to 7 days before they ship them. All they had to do was replace one of the lenses. A total of 3 weeks to replace a lens when it was their fault. Not happy about that part. Great prices and great selection, but not good on redoing an order.
The first pair of glasses I ordered took about a month to arrive and they arrived scratched (possibly were a refurbished pair because they also fit looser on my head) so I had to return them and order a new pair. The second pair I ordered with expedited shipping but they still arrived later than expected. The second pair seems fine but I would likely not order from them again due to lack of quality control. The glasses themselves are great though and I like the style.
Will make a longer story short. Placed an order for an item that appears to be in stock. Fast forward a week, I email EZ contacts for a status and timeline. Going back and forth over several emails, I they finally inform me that it could be weeks before I receive my order, as it is shipping from their manufacture. Really, ordering from this website/business is a waste of time unless you can wait for weeks, even months. The only good thing is, that is was fairly straightforward to cancel my order. Never again!
The good: my goggles eventually arrived, they were what I ordered, and they were a lower price than other sites.
The bad: I was told "it's about to ship" numerous times when it didn't, the estimated arrival day was wrong, it was hard to get a straight answer from the company about what was happening (took three different conversations before I got one), and the 5-7 day shipping didn't actually get me my item for multiple weeks.

It took a couple weeks longer then the website said it would. I contacted customer service and I was told they were waiting on frames from manufacturer. But to make up for the would ship priority at no additional charge. Which was nice. The glasses were 66% cheaper then at the Dr. Office so it was worth the wait. They came with lense cleaner and tiny screw driver and case which was really nice. The only thing I think could have been done better is if they would have emailed me about the delay instead of me having to contact them twice to find out, but I will order from them again.
The shipping problems are due to the fact that is made and shipped from china, all of it. They have been terrible for months now, the funny thing is they keep telling me its coming from italy, omg cmon just give it up. Beware people their are plenty of sites like this run by bozos who prey on you all.
Prices are the lowest I have found... but shipping is SLOW! Ordered 7/30 and received 8/13. It showed available and still took a week to even ship out! This is my 2nd order from them and BOTH were extremely slow!
EZContacts has a wide range variety of glasses and sunglasses at a very affordable price. The website is very easy to navigate. It does take 3-4 weeks from purchase date to receive your order in the mail. If your order contains more than one item they may ship seperately. Definitely worth the wait.

I called customer service 2 different times which I had to wait both times 1.5 hrs for a call back and both reps said yes info was updated but nope it wasn't.

First time purchase from EZContacts. I was contacted by a tech named Eddie regarding a question with my prescription. He treated me like a family member. Took a little longer than I expected to receive my glasses, buth they are beautiful. The package came with a beautiful case and extra cleaning supplies. Wonderful Thanks again Eddie for going that extra mile :).

I ordered and paid for my contacts on January 23rd. It's March 5th and still no contacts. It said 5 to 7 days... I have contacted them twice a week for the past 4 weeks they say the same thing every time. They are just waiting on a tracking number for their supplier. They did send me an email asking if I was ready to reorder more contacts! But they have not even sent my first order, it has been that long! Stay away I think its a scam.
Eye glass order. I was told 4 to 5 day delivery. It took a month. Tried to get customer service by phone and online. Very poor service and had to wait a number of days for response and was on hold for hours... I will not buy from EZContacts again...
Ordered my glasses, did not get them until a month later. I called for updates and repeatedly was told two different stories. The only reason I exchanged is due to EZContacts being the only available carrier of the brand and frame that I wanted. Only reason they have my money.
They say they price match other competitors but when you submit a claim with a valid retailer, it goes into a black hole and NOBODY ever contacts you or does anything about it. They hope if they ignore you long enough that you'll go away. A totally fraudulent business practice.
It took 3 months for my order to show up. By the time my order actually showed up, they were cheaper with another company. Do not believe them when they say an item is "in stock" on the phone or on the website. Something is definitely "sketchy" about this company.
EZ Contacts does not stand behind their product nor will they repair. They offer a 30 day warranty. I would hope they would not break within 30 days, seriously? They do not respond to live chat. They will put you on hold and never come back (hoping one would give up I assume). Well- I gave up. I ordered the same glasses for less on Amazon Prime this morning. I will received them TODAY. They offer a one year warranty. Thanks Amazon. Shame on you EZ Contacts.
