These days shopping for the best price is "ultimate". Quality...you just have to trust. So far...I have been satisfied. Cost has risen enormously. Hidden fees? This is a popular one for ALL of the contact lens companies... Availability? I have not run into issues here. Shipping time has been reliable, I'm good here.
I ordered a pair of sunglasses on 6/20 and I'm still waiting for it. They told me a week after I ordered it that the shipment would be delayed 2-3 weeks. It's now been over 10 weeks since I placed the order and they won't even respond to my emails asking for an update.
The company received my returned glasses over two weeks ago. I had to wait on hold for 52 minutes before connected to a customer service representative. They confirmed receiving my glasses back but have not issued a refund. I'm starting to feel like I was ripped off and may not get my money back. I will never order from this site again.
I should add that the reason I'm returning my glasses is because one lens was larger than the other when I received them.
Ordered a pair of glasses which were advertised as 'ships in 4-5 days'. Actually took over a month, and required two followup phone calls. Nice folks, though. Next time I'll phone in the order and check availability up front.
Correct prescription filled on sunglasses, and order came faster than expected. Frames arrived crooked at the temples, but nothing defective about the product (can be corrected by optician). Much more cost effective than ordering glasses at the optometrist's office.
Ezcontacts exceeded my expectations! My glasses fit perfectly and my vision is very clear. The many extras included with my glasses was something no other eyeglass company I've used before received. Excellent customer service! I will definitely be back!
So today 4-24-2018 after calling 3 times and being in a que of 30+ callers, I am now again on the line with an 'un' EZ contacts rep (Mike) to request a refund and am being told I have to wait for the 'Redo' department to respond reference my refund. 12:56 pm I was assured that I will here from someone today. No sense of urgency or regard for customer care. Negative 100
I had to constantly follow up. Was never contacted to say there would be a delay. Very disappointed. Use them before but will consider other companies going forward. Additionally, customer service hours aren't conducive to people who work.
I ordered prescription frames for the first time from EZContacts after years of getting contacts from them. The frames arrived with both lens frames cracked and the eye pieces free. In order to get a refund, I had to pay my own shipping costs to ship back my defective lenses. I did not want to do that so I called the service center, spent over an hour waiting on hold, and to get a prepaid shipping label. EZContacts defective merchandise protocol is ridiculous. All this to gain nothing but headache from EZContacts. I'm still without glasses and time lost I won't get back.
I am very pleased with the glasses. However, the customer service and delivery time was awful. I was not informed that what I ordered was on back order, so it took nearly a month to ship. It would have taken longer had I not called and voiced my displeasure. After talking to 2 different representatives for over an hour, they at least offered expedited shipping once they got the glasses.
I have ordered 2 times from them and the delivery for my contacts took over 10 days... I was caller 28 and waited on hold for 34 minutes! I questioned them about their 1-2 day shipping and notifying you within 24 hours if their will be a delay; she had no answer for me! Just OH we are out of stock and I will have our vendor ship them directly to you today and you should have them in 2 days... this has happened with both my orders... I am done!
Clara the customer service rep I talked to took me through the whole process and answered every single question I had she was on the chat with me for a good 45 minutes if not more. I highly recommend EZContacts. Now hopefully I get the right product and Ill love my new glasses. Thank you!
We paid an extra $20 for 3 day shipping for my husband's glasses. That was 10 days ago - still no glasses. Supposedly this is because they consider the 3 day shipping start point to be when they leave the lab - although this is not specified when the order is placed. Also they don't include weekends in their delivery date at all. Why trick your customers? Seems like a shady company.
Bottom line: "You get what you pay for" bad customer service. I placed my original order and a few days later got an email the frames were discontinued, but with no option or assistance to order something else. I had to start a new order all over again, but my discontinued order remained listed in my previous orders. Ordered another frame and that order took almost a month. Buyer beware: prepare to wait a long time for your order to arrive, but don't expect these guys to provide you customer service.
The complete lack of customer support and the length of time it took for them to ship my items ruined my entire experience. If you think this is how you will want to be treated, then shop here. If not, there are plenty of other retailers that will do exactly what EZContacts does, except better.

It literally took an entire month before they even shipped the glasses out. This is even after I emailed multiple times requesting a cancellation. This is a bull$#*! company with no customer service. Never again. I went to another online company ordered the same exact frames with prescription lenses and got them in 3 DAYS.
EZContacts you deserve a rating higher than 5. I am extremely satisfied with my overall experience and final product. I am obsessed with my new Versace reader glasses. My order followed with a phone call to approved my prescription. Everything was packed very carefully and professionally presented. They even added their own cleaning clothe and a repair kit. Need to say more? I will keep ordering with you again and again. I had a better experience placing the order online than when I went to a local store. Did I say this was my first time ordering with EZContacts? And it wont be the last.
I ordered from this site because the turnaround time seemed so quick. After waiting two weeks I place to call to find out when my glasses would ship. I was told they still had not arrived from the manufacturer, and then once they do it would take. 5 days to process. Overall my whole order took one month to arrive to my house. That being said once I did receive them, they were just perfect.
Ordered 2 pairs of glasses, 1 pair arrived fairly quick as expected, second pair was a month late. I received no notification as the product was going to be delayed or any update. Finally it was shipped about a month later. The glasses were sent by a third party shipper, it took more than a week to get to me after I had waited about a month to get them. Maybe in this case they should simply shipped by priority mail which is not too much to ask. I needed them for a trip I was taking. That's why simple things matter!.

Order my glasses expecting them to take 2 weeks it took more than a month. I email many times with no response then I try emailing one more time they responded 3 days later saying there was a defect on the first pair and had to be done again. I don't understand why the lack of communication, every day I would check on the status and nothing would change always said the same. Finally I had enough and told them I don't want them anymore just to give me a refund this was taking to long. Well tell why they responded all late saying they had barely seen the email and it was to late because they had already shipped them.
Ordering process was quick and easy... But receiving the product, from shipping notification to delivery was unnecessarily painstaking. I chatted with online customer service and phone customer service (upper management) before finally getting direct answers on my shipping date, 9 business days later. Beware, 5-7 days was not accurate for me.
Received my glasses in about three weeks for a great discounted price! My eye doctor was trying to charge me double for the pair I bought so I'm very pleased with this website. My order even came with an extra set of lenses and multiple cleaning utensils for my new glasses.
I spoke with Daryl Grimes via live chat and I'm very satisfied with the outcome. Not only was he friendly and patient-- but he moved my order right along and it should now be on it's way to me! Great customer service and the prices are fantastic compared to other sites.
We bought these for my 13-year-old, who plays baseball, and we are very pleased with them. My son loves the blue color, and the prescription seems accurate. They fit his face perfectly. Only complaint was that they took longer than expected to arrive, but perhaps because sports glasses are a little more complicated than regular glasses. But we're very happy now that they're here!

I ordered my glasses at the end of November thinking it would take only a week ti be delivered (mind you that was what it said during check out), but after like 3-4 days i got a message saying it was delayed and wont be delivered until dec 25- january something.
Placed an order about 3 weeks ago, charged my card and hasn't shipped. Sent two emails and no one responded. Called once and was like the 72'nd caller on hold. Got tired of waiting more than 30 minutes. Called next day 1st thing and again waited about 20 minutes before someone picked up and was told my order would ship in 3 days... been over 5 days and again nothing. Waiting on response again if not will do a credit card dispute.

Paid extra for expedited shipping and my contacts took 3 times that time to arrive. When I pointed this out, not only did they deny the shipping method I'd chosen (despite email correspondence that prove otherwise) but they refused to refund my my shipping costs. Hold times on the phone are also impossible. Bad customer service all around.
