These days shopping for the best price is "ultimate". Quality...you just have to trust. So far...I have been satisfied. Cost has risen enormously. Hidden fees? This is a popular one for ALL of the contact lens companies... Availability? I have not run into issues here. Shipping time has been reliable, I'm good here.
I ordered a pair of sunglasses on 6/20 and I'm still waiting for it. They told me a week after I ordered it that the shipment would be delayed 2-3 weeks. It's now been over 10 weeks since I placed the order and they won't even respond to my emails asking for an update.
3 weeks no contacts. No messages about shipping delays. Sent 3 emails, opened 2 chats and requested a refund. Only one response 3 days later telling me that they should ship in 3 to 5 more business days for free. That was 4 days ago. Never will I do business with Ezcontacts again.

My experience with EZContacts started off normally, easy website to navigate and loads of selections for glasses. However there was a back order for my frames and seems like it kept getting pushed back and back. I used to support chat function on the site to speak with Mark who was very understanding and even gave me a discount. I was in contact with Mark multiple times as my frames kept getting delayed, he was always helpful and spoke honestly about what was causing the issues. His service made a negative experience a better once. I do admit Ezcontacts needs to work on their ordering and shipping strategies, in all I waited about two months for my glasses but the service did really help that experience.
I ordered Spy Carson. I received Spy Braden. Very similar but not the same. Wont say ill never use EZ contacts again but will double check and triple check my order. Im sure its a big pain in the $#*! to send bac k and wait another month for what i asked for.
Originally I was a bit upset because based on the information online I was expecting my glasses to arrive in 2 weeks. I reached out to your customer service chat and the agent I spoke with was really exceptional. He looked into when I could expect my glasses and once knowing I was not happy about the 1 month time frame as opposed to 2 weeks he had them rush delivered and they arrived very quickly. I did not need or expect any exception to the rule just wanted to mention that I was unhappy with what appeared to be misleading information however he went above and beyond. Unfortunately I do not have the transcript any longer to verify his name but thank you. I also am very happy with my new glasses.
A major retailer quoted my prescription glasses with insurance for $190 - I was able to purchase my fantastic Versace specs at EZContacts for $150 without even using my insurance money. Plus the polycarbonate lens upgrade was included in that 150 price. Now I can save my insurance for contacts. I'll definitely be back for more glasses and maybe look to but my contacts here - great company, service, products... triple win!
The sun glasses arrived with correct prescription. Very nice quality saved hundreds as I could find them online elsewhere for less. I take care of this pair and wear my old ones for working outside. These are too nice to drop or scratch, so I am keeping them in the little bag to keep them new. Very nice looking and the extra cost for the polarized lenses is worth it.
Very disappointed with the actual product because the prescription didn't feel right. The service I received was poor too- the glasses took over 1 month to arrive and no updates were provided, the customer service email inbox is full and can't accept new messages, I waited on hold for 20 mins, and the agent was unhelpful when I finally did reach someone
I have been trying to find contacts at a more affordable price. After countless websites I came across ezcontacts. They have the best prices, even better than club store prices. In addition they have a great selection on eyewear. The process is quick and easy. If you ever need help, they have a great chat available that will answer question. Highly recommend.
I ordered a pair of sun glasses with 3-day shipping for them to be there on time before a vacation... little did I know that 3 day shipping apparently also include processing time at their convenience... so 3-day shipping = 3 days + X days... so glad I paid extra for that!
When asked about whether they could speed up the process, the suggested that I myself contacted FedEx... well thanks for nothing then...

We're probably just all corrupted by Amazon's 2-day shipping and freak out about anything slower... ordered on May 1, received on May 18. Tory Burch sunglasses were great and price was amazing. With my prescription and still only about $100. I'd order again, just with the expectation that it's going to take about 3 weeks. Worth the wait though.
Its like Russian Roulette trying to get your order. I ordered contacts that i requested be sent overnight, they charged extra and never sent me the package. Your on hold for hours for a customer service rep and no one will return your call.
They say your prices are better but you lose in the end!
I ordered custom prescription sunglasses and I was sent damaged frames that appeared to be refurbished. I sent them back and received a replacement frame with scratched lenses. It took my 9 follow up emails and several phone calls to request a credit on the scratched lens just to end the ordeal. This is still pending. Customer Service horrible and hold times are several hours to speak to anyone and emails go unanswered. Its not worth it!
I waited almost three weeks for my glasses to arrive (your website states that they should arrive in 3-7 business days). The Len's were not right when they arrived and when I was able to finally get a manager on the phone, he was very helpful. I've since sent back my frames and lenses to be corrected... hope that when I get them back (sooner rather than later please), I'll be happy with the service work too.
The glasses came after about 4 weeks. I sent 2 emails to customer service requesting an updated shipping timeframe to which I received no response. I ended up using the embedded chat function on their website to get a response and I do have to say that they reimbursed my shipping for the informational blunder.
The glasses themselves are nice but if I order another pair I will upgrade to better lenses. I think I ordered the 80 dollar upgraded ones and they are on the cheap side. Super light and the prescription seems just a tad off, not that it will affect my vision, just that my eyes have had to adjust.
All in all I saved about 400 dollars by NOT going through LensCrafters so I am happy. Just make sure to spend a little extra on the lenses.
I emailed customer service with some questions about the frames I was ordering. I was told, in writing, that my frames would come in a case and arrive promptly. Instead, they arrived unwrapped and without a case, and we're warped during shipment. This is the worst eyeglasses experience I've ever had, and I've ordered this brand of frames on several occasions. EZContacts is the first site to be such a disaster. I'd never purchase from them again.
On the website it says availability for my frames are 2-3 days but its been 5 days and paid for 1 day shipping so i emailed them when they'll ship out. I have sent multiple emails but all i get back is a lie and multiple of the guy saying the same thing. Why are you going to say they'll ship out later that day then i get an email later saying they're waiting to receive them? My lenses are ready just waiting on frames. If i knew it was going to take this long with bad service i wouldn't have even ordered from here.

Not enough options on sunglasses lenses for Smith frames I chose. Brown only. Told back ordered. Chose another frame with different lenses she didn't read text fully and quoted other lenses. Then the original frames came and they said no choice now. Product received is good however. She didn't read text fully when I offered to pay extra shipping to get them here on time for a trip. They just shipped them and they arrived too late. Very frustrating.
Unfortunately my experience was horrible, initially with Customer service, who asked me to wait to contact my insurance, 3 weeks later of waiting to get my glasses The rep didn't do anything! Well, I decided to do it myself and get a claim after the purchase with my insurance. Paid for faster shipping, my glasses didn't arrived on time, when I called they stated they were delay etc but shipped them right away! Really? If I don't call they won't ship them horrible service unfortunately but an amazing frame

You cannot beat the prices for what you get. Very good quality lenses and spot on prescription. Don't hesitate to purchase from this site, as long as you don't mind waiting a little while longer than buying locally and know that the frames are for you. It's worth it. I have purchased 3 pairs of name brand glasses from this site. All have been genuine and exactly what I would have gotten locally, but at a fraction of the price. I can't say enough good things about this company.
I'm happy with the quality of product but the time they take to respond to your email is way too long. By the time they responded I had already received a confirmation on my glasses being shipped. They should really keep an update for the customer to see when they will be shipping the item. Overall, I am happy about my purchase and how I saved more than I would have at an eyeglass store. They just need to be better about getting back to the customer through emails.
I ordered a pair of glasses on 03/15/2022 and the estimate shipment was 5-7 days online but still no glasses or update online (03/29/2022) so I decided to send an email, the response was it takes 4-6 weeks to have the prescription glasses so I changed for a pair that ships same day according to the website called a day after to inquire, Well the lady said they will be ready by 04/08/2022. I'm really frustrated. It's not a way to do business.
They took longer than I expected to arrive. They fit beautifully. They arrived with a wonderful case, three lens cleaning cloths, and a tiny set of screwdrivers, as well as a warranty. The bifocals are perfect! The lenses are too strong for me but I hope to get used to them. They are exactly what I ordered at a fraction of the cost that my local optical shop quoted me. I'm very satisfied and will not only order again, but will tell my friends. Thank you EZContacts, you are the BEST!
I bought persols to replace a pair that I had for years and lost. Unfortunately, after only a few weeks of wear, a screw has come loose that led to the sunglasses completely coming apart. The left and right lens are completely detached from each other. Nothing happened to spur this, just normal wearing. Since I had this exact repair for 3 years prior, I know that they are high quality sunglasses, so I am very disappointed that these did not hold up for the same level.
This site is great for cheap glasses. The down side was that they took over a month to finally come in, and when they did they were bent. I did have decent communication with customer service. I sent an email and approximately 3-4 days later they where in contact.
Needed these for my son asap and still waiting. It says they were shipped but when you pull up the tracking number it says waiting for the shipment to be received at the post office. What the heck does that mean. I better have them tomorrow. This is BS.
