These days shopping for the best price is "ultimate". Quality...you just have to trust. So far...I have been satisfied. Cost has risen enormously. Hidden fees? This is a popular one for ALL of the contact lens companies... Availability? I have not run into issues here. Shipping time has been reliable, I'm good here.
I ordered a pair of sunglasses on 6/20 and I'm still waiting for it. They told me a week after I ordered it that the shipment would be delayed 2-3 weeks. It's now been over 10 weeks since I placed the order and they won't even respond to my emails asking for an update.
It took over a month, ordered March 7 and delivered April 26, and countless emails to receive my glasses, many excuses were given and the customer service was not great. They were not forthcoming with information, I had to specifically ask a direct question to get an answer, and even when I requested that they keep me updated, I would still have to send an email asking for an update to get any information. Was it worth it for the glasses when they finally showed up? Yes, but only because I've been wanting this specific pair for months and it was a good price. I won't be reordering. I had no issues with the glasses themselves, they arrived intact and just as pictured.
I read the reviews AFTER I bought my glasses. I only saw negative things, saying it was a scam and blah blah. I was nervous that I had gotten ripped off. But customer service kept me updated and after waiting a couple weeks, I did infact get my glasses which are great quality and the correct prescription. Can't beat the prices too! Only giving 4 because shipping took way longer than they said it would
I ordered some frames and lenses. It took well over a month to receive my order with no updates or explanation from the company. When I emailed customer service, I at first did not get a response. I then emailed a second time and finally got a response that the production department would be contacted. It still took a few weeks after that message for me to receive my product. The product is fine and just as I had expected; however, the communication lines were awful. I order my contacts through this company and havent had any trouble, so this was extremely disappointing.
Took over 3 weeks and 4 phone calls to get my glasses shipped to me and when I received them a lens is marked at the top, i am too frustrated to even call them to deal with it! Contacts are great but I will never order glasses again they sell frames they dont stock and custom service reps are rude and disrespectful.
The EZContacts site clearly states processing time for prescription sunglasses as 5-7 business days. When they didn't ship after 7 business days, I contacted customer service twice, before getting a response multiple days later. I was then told by customer service that processing time was 7-10 business days, which contradicts the information provided on their website.
I then showed them their processing policy on their website and they did nothing to rectify the situation. At a minimum they could have done overnight shipping, but failed to do so.
This is the second time I've used EZcontacts and will be my last due to atrocious customer service. I strongly discourage anyone from purchasing from them, they clearly have no regard for their customers.
Wish I could give negative stars! I ordered frames on 1/3/19 and still have not received them. I call weekly and I'm being told that they're going to ship out by Friday. I call today and again I was told they would ship by this Friday which will be March 1st. My order is still being processed. I've been ordering frames online for years and it has NEVER taken 2 months to receive my glasses.
I ordered my glasses on July 21st. They were supposed to ship in 1-2 business days with 5-7 day shipping. Nearly 2 weeks later and they're still "processing" at the lab. I've emailed them on 7/27 and 8/2 and have been told both times that my glasses are still in the lab and I'll be notified when they have shipped, which I suspect will be NEVER! I've twice requested to cancel the order and receive a refund, which they have completely ignored. I wish I'd seen the reviews before I ordered.

I originally ordered my classes in December. It is now February and I am still trying to work out my order with EZContacts. The glasses that I originally got had two sized listed on separate web pages instead of listing both sizes on one page. They are trying to charge me all kinds of fees for exchanging the glasses even though none of these fees are listed on their Return FAQ. Will never buy from them again.
It took a few weeks to get my prescription glasses but they were worth the wait. They came with a hard case and several cleaning pads with spray cleaner. Oh and a little tool to work on them. The anti glare coating makes everything look so much clearer. I will be ordering all my glasses here and have told all my friends how good a deal I got.

Thought it would take about a week. After 3 weeks the first pair arrived. Now its going on 3 months and I have 3/5 pairs. They have never responded to an email I sent to customer service. Im wondering when the last two pairs of sunglasses will come. I have no idea. No response from ezcontacts. And neither of them are on back order according to the website.
Awesome, faster than waiting on the phone. Hopefully this will end well, as the online reviews made me worry about losing my $200.00, that I spent on my purchase. So far Daryl was great, hope the next steps are as easy as the chat. Thanks for your help!
The selection and variety is great but I had to wait more than 1 month for my order due to several delays - the first 2 pairs I ordered ran out of stock and shipment did not arrive as promised. I had to follow-up. Customer service was friendly though

The ordering process is simple enough. Ultimately, it took over a month for the order to ship despite there being a "Ships in 3-5 days" disclaimer on the product itself. I was later informed via email that it would be an additional 15 days for the order to ship. I emailed customer service and received no reply. I called to see if there was a substitute product or to change frames completely. The rep was friendly enough and emailed some other options, but they had two different delivery dates for the same product. I replied for clarification but received no response. I called after another week and was offered a discount on the frames that I purchased originally, to which I agreed. Then they charged me the original price. In my opinion, its not worth the hassle.

I have called twice to inquire about them. The first time I spoke to Alice who listened to my questions, and answered them accordingly. She even offered to expedite the shipment as a courtesy. Then, almost a week after I received an email showing that the glasses had shipped, I called again because the delivery date had changed to reflect another week out. That is when I spoke to a person who did not bother to hear my concerns (or just didn't care to address them, cut me off while I was speaking, and when I tried to get a word in to redirect him to the question at hand he so rudely asked "if you (I) would let me(him) finish. So, I patiently let him finish before giving him my opinions regarding his customer service skills. I chose not to direct my concerns to a manager since it is the holidays and only assumed that he was having a bad day (from previous callers) as we have all experienced at one time or another.

I ordered contact lenses and after two weeks of it not being shipped I asked for a refund. After waiting a week my refund was still not processed so I contacted them again today and they said I had to wait another 5-7 days because it's being processed. I didn't know refunds took 2-3 weeks to get through. Curious as to what happened when the first refund process was going through or if they even processed it. Just annoying. Go to lens.com they are faster

Item listed as in stock. A few days later I get an email saying it isn't but I will have first week of october. My trip to Mexico isn't until the 21st so I am okay. It is now 10/19 and still no glasses. I have repeatedly called them and they have repeatedly assured me I would have them in time. All lies. Don't order unless you give them a good 2 month lead time, or you will rue the day you learned of them.
Ordered two pairs of prescription sunglasses, order took more than twice as long as they said it would, nearly a month. Both pairs had the wrong lenses when they arrived, called to ask if they could just discount the glasses instead of me having to wait almost another month for the correct lenses and they said they would check with a supervisor and email or call... which they have done neither. Going to return the glasses and likely won't do business with this company again
I made 2 purchases in January. It's March, and I still don't have one of my orders which was "in stock and ready to ship".
I've called 3 times for an update and nothing. My glasses have been in the "lab' for over a month.
Terrible customer service
Not happy with your refund process. I returned a pair of Polo eyeglasses that were defective. It was delivered to you on 2/28/18, but no action on your part yet. I emailed customer service about it last week, they said they are behind and process it, but nothing since. These funds have to go back to my HSA account to avoid issues with the IRS. I already paid for a replacement for the Polo glasses on a separate order.
Haven't received my contacts yet, but the ordering part of the process was easy/efficient. Getting my contacts is taking longer than it indicated on the website, and I have been unable to get specific shipping information via the website so that I could track the order. Customer Service (Daryl) was very helpful via the online chat function. I am hopeful that after this initial order, the process will smooth out, and I will receive subsequent shipments in the advertised 5-7 days.
It's a great site to purchases glasses though it might take few week for it to ship (for certain item) i got mine within 2 week. Yes, for glasses it could take that long. Their customer services are very helpful and quick response to my email. Would purchase more from them in the future when my glasses give way. Recommended.
My order took longer than 2 months to process. I called a few times within that time frame and they said my glasses were in back order... which the website did not say that at all while I was purchasing the frames. They offered to cancel and send in a different color I declined and just continued to wait. Each time I contacted them they gave me a different eta. However when they finally came they were perfect, and the representatives were nice. That's why it's not a complete 1 rating.
The website didn't give me the proper discount which i give it 1 star for. If you are going to offer a cyber savings, make sure the website works. I had to spend time contacting customer service who i would give 5 stars too. They were extremely helpful and recalculated my discount. I should just never have had to contact them in the first place.
