These days shopping for the best price is "ultimate". Quality...you just have to trust. So far...I have been satisfied. Cost has risen enormously. Hidden fees? This is a popular one for ALL of the contact lens companies... Availability? I have not run into issues here. Shipping time has been reliable, I'm good here.
I ordered a pair of sunglasses on 6/20 and I'm still waiting for it. They told me a week after I ordered it that the shipment would be delayed 2-3 weeks. It's now been over 10 weeks since I placed the order and they won't even respond to my emails asking for an update.
I rarely leave negative reviews and will try to keep this one more positive than negative. I am satisfied with the glasses/lenses themselves but the estimated ship time was incorrect even after paying for the next level of shipping it was twice as long for arrival as estimated. I emailed the company a few days after I thought they would have shipped and got ZERO response for several days until they had already shipped.
The price was good. My glasses came in earlier than expected. I'm not going to lie I was a little concerned. The glasses came as described and they included a cute little bottle of lens cleaner. I'll definitely be doing business with them again.
My sunglasses said 2-3 days delivery. It's been: 3 weeks. I still don't have them. Every time I call I'm told give it another week. Then they said they will over night then. None of the above happened. Hope it was worth the wait
Expect your contacts about 2-3 weeks after ordering them. I ordered mine, received no information. After a week I called and they said they had to order them from some central distribution center. My contacts had not even been shipped yet and it will still be at least another week. Who knows if they will ever arrive. I'm out of contacts so I have to go to a local store to buy contacts anyway.
Very little communication, had to try and push for the delivery date. Just not a great experience. I would of preferred more of an explanation on the production of the product. I felt as though they had taken my money then forgotten about me.
I've been waiting and waiting. Then got an email without any number to call them and it states that my prescription was not approved. I called customer service where I was caller 47 and waiting on the phone for three hours to find out they were closed. Then called the next day and I am caller 29 where I wait and finally after three hours holding I talk to someone who says it was a computer glitch and she manually fixed my prescription and I will get an email once the item is sent. 5 days later nothing. I normally order from Lens.com but EZContacts had a great price. Not worth the problems to save 20. I'm calling them now to stop the transaction and order through Lens.com. They already charged my card and Lens doesn't charge until the item is sent. I hope I get my money back. I'm mad and I can't see.

My expensive contact lenses are never delivered to my door step. The website itself has some "survey" for shipping, and when I wrote in about the lost package, the website promised to send me another package. All of this sounds good until months later, the new package was never delivered. This empty promise is very upsetting, and considering how much money they are charging for the contact lenses, a little better customer service is definitely needed.
I ordered contacts from EZ recently and did not receive an email confirmation immediately (but did later in the evening), so I did some research and found a lot of negative reviews. I was worried so I cancelled my order. I now believe this was a mistake and unwarranted. They might not be as responsive as some companies, but they have good prices and my knee-jerk reaction was just that, and I feel bad. They are obviously a smaller company. I won't hesitate to order from them next time. Both the person I spoke with and emailed were very pleasant, courteous, and professional.
Shipping was much slower than expected, shipping updates stopped for a long while. When I reached out to customer service with EZ and the carrier- I did not get any answers. Long after I expected them, they finally showed up.
Ordered a pair of glasses. Took 3-5 business days. Then had to initiate contact with them 4 or 5 times. Waited on hold for 20+ minutes each time.
Kept being put off. Finally after 4 weeks of their lies they told me the manufacturer didn't make these frames anymore. Waiting on the refund. PayPal dispute opened.

Happy customer. Easy to order glasses, saved a ton compared to getting the same glasses in a store. Shipping was very fast, included some extra items like spray and eyeglass repair kit which will come in handy. Will use again!

I bought several pairs of prescription glasses with no fear because the return policy states they offer a 100% refund. Only 1 of the frames fit me so I requested to return the rest of them. Now they are telling me I'm responsible for hundreds of dollars in restocking fees. Ridiculous. Going to fight this. Hopefully with the help of PayPal I can get my money back.

I had to return my eyeglasses and the customer service representative (Galvin Fein) was very helpful, friendly and nice throughout the process. I did not even had to call them but use the Live Chat option! Galvin was really patient as we figured out a way to resolve the issue! He even gave me advice on how to proceed. I am very glad I made business with EZContacts. I totally recommend this store and, of course, I will totally continue doing business with them!
I wish they would've kept me up to date from order to when they were shipped, but there was no communication in between and it took a while. Also, I do not like the glasses on me and would appreciate receiving my options on how to return... will I get an email regarding this or will they just sit on my review?
Ordered (& paid for) my lenses 4/25; they arrived 6/25 after being misinformed about the method of shipment twice. I requested a refund after waiting for over a month, but was denied because the lenses were 'in transit'. Not exacted the "fast shipping" advertised on the website.
This was my second bad experience. First time, I waited a month for the package. When I complained, I got an apology so I tried again. BIG MISTAKE on my part.

Ordered contacts in may may of 2018. They were sent to the wrong address. I am still trying to get my contacts sent to me or my money back. I cant get nothing done. But they took 119.99 from my account and will not resolve the problem, even after talking to a so called manager. They need to be prosecuted. What can we do about these scams.
I'm trying to return my contacts lenses to them due to a recall from the manufacturer. I've been going through this for two weeks now. First week: I started by calling them... phone calls don't work. I did get through once and was told someone would respond to me within 24 hours. HA! What a joke! IT took 8 days to get my first response from them! I finally heard from someone, they gave me a return label for me to send my contact lenses back to them and asked me if I had any additional questions. I did have some questions, wrote to my "assigned rep" Diana, and three days later, I still have not received a response. What a surprise... NOT! I think I made a HUGH mistake returning the contact lenses. Like Jon D. Said... Stay away from them! I will NEVER use EZ Contacts again.
Shipping/delivery time frame is not really customer-oriented. Had to wait 5 business days to have EZContacts get the frame from the manufacturer, another 4 business days to put the lens in, and they use DHL/USPS as a delivery courier (probably the slowest combo and I still don't understand why they bother to use DHL when they only ship within the US and Canada). Free prescription lens provided is a joke. I thought they carved the prescription lenses out of demo lenses. Strong dust magnet and highly reflective which causes instant dizziness. I ended up returning the item as it was unusable. I am still waiting for the refund, which they said it may take up to 10 business days. In addition, as I opted to use "free prescription lens" option, they will take $19.99 off from the refund. If someone has about a month of spare time and willing to venture such unforeseen quality prescription lenses, this is the vendor for you.
Don't really know where to begin. Wrong glasses sent, broken glasses sent, glasses not in stock but charged anyway. I still do not have one pair and it has been a month. Every single thing they could screw up, they screwed up. And then they simply are incompetent or just do not care to fix the issue. Online CHat? Nope, they do not answer. There is an online chat that no one has ever answered. DO NOT BUY FROM EZ!
I ordered 2 pairs of glasses in February. The first pair was shipped and delivered within 2 weeks. I inquired about the other pair and was advised that there was a 3 week delay. I finally received my second pair more than 2 months later. It would have been nice to receive periodic updates on my order status. I'm happy about the quality of both though. Thanks.
I ordered my glasses on June 1. On June 10, my order was still processing which was way longer than their website said it would be. So I emailed customer service, took several days for a response. Once getting a response, I got told they shipped my glasses but for the next 3 days USPS had a message that just said they had made the shipping label but not shipped anything. I did finally get my glasses over 3 weeks after ordering and I am happy with them.
My overall experience was that at all, but the communication was definitely lacking. Instead of EZContacts notifying me of measurements I had to contact them to see what was the hold only to find out that they needed my PD. As I'm still waiting no email, no calls... I call again only to find out that there was a back order on my lens. Simply no communication results in bad customer service to me. And when I called checking the status, the agent tells me that there is back order on you frames, and they should be in by the end of the week. And since it's been a while we are going to ship your glasses through priority mail so you can get the quicker... umm that's not doing me any favors since priority mail is 3-5 days and it was my original shipping option from the beginning.
The glasses have good quality for the price but they took 1 1/2 month to get the frame. I had to call several times and the representative stated that the glasses were coming from Italy which was not true. When they glasses got here the glasses said china. In their website it stated they will be shipped within 2-3 days and they took too long. Overall very slow process.
I easily ordered a pair of glasses with my optometrist's rx. Only missing information is the pupil distance, but the directions on this site for measuring at home worked perfectly. Price was great (1/3 of the optometrist's office price) and it arrived with a nice hard case, 2 cleaning cloths and even tiny screwdrivers on a key chain. Very happy with my purchase and will use this site again.
