These days shopping for the best price is "ultimate". Quality...you just have to trust. So far...I have been satisfied. Cost has risen enormously. Hidden fees? This is a popular one for ALL of the contact lens companies... Availability? I have not run into issues here. Shipping time has been reliable, I'm good here.
I ordered a pair of sunglasses on 6/20 and I'm still waiting for it. They told me a week after I ordered it that the shipment would be delayed 2-3 weeks. It's now been over 10 weeks since I placed the order and they won't even respond to my emails asking for an update.
Having been disappointed with my prescription glasses filled here locally, I thought I would give online ordering a try. EZContacts' prices were very reasonable and the ordering details and options for my prescription were impressive. The process for selecting coatings etc. was very easy to follow and for me, educational. Typically when I've filled prescriptions locally, I've been rushed through the process with little explanation of each option and the pricing differences (always trying to up-sell me). I NEVER had to go through that with EZContacts! I will definitely be a repeat customer!
The glasses I receive are defected. However, every time I ask for return shipping label, the customer representative always say they'll send it, but I only received return form without shipping label. This is stupid and wasted me a lot of time. I will never ever use EZContacts again.
Ordered contacts 4 days ago and status still says "verifying prescription". Called to check status and was told they attempted to call and were awaiting a response. I was told I should just send a copy of my prescription so I don't get permanently banned from ordering. Informed him I do not have a copy and that was whole point of their option of verifying with my doctor. Agent refused to let me speak with manager and kept laughing at me on the phone when I was asking for his agent ID or to speak with a manager. Hung up, called my eye doctor, confirmed that nobody has even attempted to contact them yet. DO NOT SHOP HERE. Cheap but not worth it
Took forever to receive my first prescription glasses I ordered. I was very happy with the great quality of the frames. I ordered another pair of glasses with different designer frames. They said 7-10 days and after day 20 I contacted EZContacts customer service. They told me that my frames were discontinued and that they failed to notify me. So glad I called or I would still be waiting. So, if you are not in a big rush to get your glasses this site is great. Luckily I have a pair to wear while I wait for my new ones.
I had returned a pair of glasses for a refund and after more than two weeks after they were shipped, I still had not received the refund. Rex in the support center researched my return and notified me (on the same day) that my refund had just been processed and that it should be back in my account within 5 banking days.He was fast and provided great customer service.
When I first went to order my glasses one of the things I liked most about this site is that it said glasses shipped in 5-7 days if they were prescription... which mine were. I had a vacation and a few other events I wanted them for and it took over a month to get my glasses. Slowest site ever that Ive ordered glasses from. I was super frustrated.
My son is into name brand items so when I came across this site that offered coupons and discounts on Brands like Puma, I quickly ordered from their site. My son loves the variety of classes that they offer and every year his prescription has changed so I have ordered at least three times from this website. It is always efficient and within my budget. And the quality superb.
I saved hundreds of dollars by buying my glasses with EZ. Although the frames I had picked were not available, their team did take care of me in a timely fashion so that I could still find another pair very similar to the ones I wanted and they fit perfectly!
I have never had such a poor customer experience. They have been deceptive from the beginning, first charging me for my contacts plus expedited shipping knowing full well that they did not have the product in stock (and apparently had no intention of ordering it) and that they would come no where close to meeting the 3-5 day shipping deadline. I have spoken to customer service twice on the phone and received only vague replies with no real results. Today I received a brief email indicating that my contacts are not available. This came with no offer of a refund. I fear I will continue to be stuck in customer service limbo with this company which, judging from other reviews, I am increasingly convinced is a scam site. I plan to call them again tomorrow to continue to demand a refund for a product that I never received.

I ordered glasses and paid. Two days after, I get an email that says the blue light coating, that was INCLUDED as an add on in the price of the glasses, cost an ADDITIONAL $100 more than I paid (already over $225). I told them to cancel the order. When you pay for something and get a receipt with the details of what you ordered/are paying for... it should be like a contract. Not an option to add money on two days later. I received confirmation that the order was cancelled and I would be refunded. But it's been over 7 BUSINESS days and no refund on my card. I call and it says the company is not taking calls. I wrote an email and no response. I did the online chat on their site and no response. It's 100% wrong and totally shady.
Tip for consumers:
Avoid it. Unless it's perfect and they don't call and ask for more money AFTER your purchase, you run the risk of losing the full amount like I did.

I'm very impressed with your company. When I called regarding my order I was accommodated so nicely and it was checked on and because I had waited for the frames on back order so long the rep sped the process up for me. Then emailed me confirmation of our conversation. When I received my glasses the were presented beautifully the best I have experienced.

I Placed an order for a new pair of prescription glasses a little over 2 months ago. I have been back and forth emailing customer service with no progress. Customer service has lied to me and keeps pushing back the dates as time advances. The latest news is that the factory in Italy "forgot to send the glasses." The employees have lied time and time again. My order still has not been shipped. Truly a bad company.
I placed an order for two pair of glasses one pair arrived within a decent time frame. The second pair took almost two months! The communication was always prompted by me to get the status on order. The response from the company/customer service, was seldom immediately the problem or issue was always due to a third party (the supplier). No remedy, solutions or compensation was ever offered or received. I would not recommend based on my experience!
I've contacted customer service 3 times. All the same answer, "give it a few more days". I ordered July and still have yet to receive my glasses. I have never had anything like this happen before, and I've ordered from several online companies. I hate to see what it would be like if I need to return them. Where are my glasses!?
Very good experience with a couple of little drawbacks. Good selection and price. Price better than store with my insurance.
Tracking order progress could be better. I'd suggest adding glasses found stage, glasses at lab stage and lab completed stage. Now we just see "processing" ANS shipped.
The second problem is no one to fit the glasses to your face. The glasses need adjusting but no one to do that like with an eyeglass store.
My glasses and prescription are perfect! My only complaint is the amount of time it took to receive the order. I understand sometimes things become out of stock. However, I wish they would have taken the initiative to let me know what was happening instead of me having to make several follow-up calls to find out what was happening. The agents were nice so it wasnt a complete pain. I would order with them again.
This is my first time ordering from this website but speaking to Jayne from customer service created a warm welcoming! She assisted me and gave me all the information I needed including when my contact lenses will arrive. Even though I took a few minutes to respond she didn't disconnect me.

Do not order from this outfit! You will get charged for the product with a order confirmation and then nothing from there on. I called them, then provided an email follow up with no response. The next step is to get my money back and based on these responses I have my work cut out for me.
I paid for a pair of sunglasses and paid at the time of ordering. The company sent the glass 3 weeks later and charged me again. When I asked for a refund they said they had no record of the payment being paid twice. I sent them a screenshot of my bank account showing both transactions and they they - without apology - said they'd send a refund within two days. That was a week ago. No refund. On a side note the glassEd arrived and are really beautiful, so I am very disappointed in their lack of customer service.
My son's glasses are great. I paid for expedited shipping (3-5 days) and it took 9 days. When I complained that thus was longer than free shipping (5-7 days), I got a meaningless response referring me to the shipping tracking number. Frustrating.

Glasses took longer than I expected but it was the holidays. Customer service was great when I called and had my order status right away. Glasses were perfect when they came just had to be adjusted a little tighter for my face.

I had an awful experience. Shipping took 10 times as long as they said it would and I had to continuously reach out for updates instead of being kept up to date on my order. Would never order from this site again.
The customer service was excellent and the glasses are 1/3 of what I would have paid for the same pair retail. They took a little longer coming that I had anticipated, but with those kind of savings, it was worth the wait.
Very high quality products. However, the delivery time was nearly 1 month even though the website listed in stock. Getting refunds also takes an excessive amount of time. Unsure if I will use the service again. The website is very user friendly.
I finally received my glasses after two months later. I didn't expect it to take so long because the site said it would ship within 5-7 days. I am please with the product and found it to be a great price though.
