These days shopping for the best price is "ultimate". Quality...you just have to trust. So far...I have been satisfied. Cost has risen enormously. Hidden fees? This is a popular one for ALL of the contact lens companies... Availability? I have not run into issues here. Shipping time has been reliable, I'm good here.
I ordered a pair of sunglasses on 6/20 and I'm still waiting for it. They told me a week after I ordered it that the shipment would be delayed 2-3 weeks. It's now been over 10 weeks since I placed the order and they won't even respond to my emails asking for an update.
Just want to say that I had purchased last September eyeglasses and until my Doctor check them notice that are made from plastic and not Polycarbonate as I paid at the beginning. I was not able to write cause I had two major eye surgery and had to spend more money because of them. I had wrote to the company and I was told nothing can do because is 30days warranty but they don't take a moment and analyze the situation and consider the issue as a loyal customer. So disappointed and hope you understand me.Had to replace them with another material the one I really need it. I have them in the original box.

Package was sent to a completely different state even though I provided the correct address. Now I have to wait 20 days until my "claim" is resolved; I wish I had all day to talk about the incompetence of this company. Representative e-mails me back to tell me that I might have to wait 20 days, even though it was their own mistake, audacity...
Now I have to go out of my way, go to a store and purchase my contacts, total waste of money and time. I don't even think this claim will ever be processed, they will most likely make up a bunch of other things to not have to deal with all that, so basically lost $80.00. They suck and lack organization, my advice to you is to just go to the store and spend a little more because there is a 50% chance that they will screw up your order and you'll end up paying for wasting your time. NEVER making the mistake of trusting EZContacts again.
This site has horrible communication! I placed an order for two items, only one shipped and I was told the second would ship separately. I did not received any further information even after I emailed and asked for my item, I called and they didn't answer. Finally I was able to speak to someone and they said they were waiting for more stock of a frame (which I was never informed of!) Till this day I still have not received my item nor have they shipped it. Never ordering from this site again.
Ordered my husband a pair of single vision prescription frames that were in stock on December 23,2022. I understand about the holidays, but even with time off & 1-3 business day work then shipping, should have had then the 1st week of January. It is now Jan 26th and no glasses. They don't answer the phone, and won't always answer email. Don't order from them!

I'm really pleased I got my annual contact supply through EZ Contacts (Dailies Total 1). Not only was the price over $100 cheaper than the next cheapest option (Costco) for the same product, but they also submitted the claim for my insurance for me and that gave me an additional $150 reimbursement. So overall, the cost was under 50% the usual list price and about $400 cheaper than going through my ophthalmologist's office.
RX lenses & shipping took a little bit longer than I expected about 3-4 weeks. Customer service is great and my boyfriend loves his frames! We actually reorder a pair for 4-5 years ago. Same quality as the Persol's with half the cost.
Found Rx sunglasses I was looking for at a great price. Ordered 3+ weeks before a vacation, not knowing company would be closed for FOUR business days over a 2-wk period for various holidays. Chose free 5-7 day shipping, but they upgraded to FedEx 2-day ground shipping for free bc of processing delay. Something went wrong between package pickup and actual shipping. Glasses shipped out on a Friday (supposedly), didn't receive until Monday 7 business days later when I went to FedEx center to pick them up myself on the way to the airport for my trip. Also, customer service phone line is terrible... typically on hold for 25-45 min before a human answers your call. Overall nice glasses, but don't order from them unless you are not on a time crunch.
UPDATE: The next day EZContacts.com attempted to call me twice, but left no voicemail. They also sent me an email. I emailed back and forth with a CSR Mary. She was very understanding and pleasant. She assured me that she had escalated my concerns to the appropriate supervisors and that they are working on making their customer service better. Because of her communication, I will give EZContacts.com one more try. We'll see if her comments are really true.\
BTW: my contacts arrived via UPS later that evening. All of this could have been avoided, though, if their site just provided shipping information.
I placed an order for contacts over a week ago. I have not received them so I tried an online chat. I typed my question and promptly (within 15 seconds) was told that Daryl Grimes joined the chat. Then, I sat there for over a minute and a half before he typed, "How can I help you?" As I was retyping my question, he ended the chat due to inactivity. This was less than 20 seconds ago that I received his response.
Then, I tried to call customer service and was told, "You are 26th in line." 26th! What? There seems to be a lot of customers needing service. I would steer clear of this company. They were sure quick to take my money. Who knows if/when my contacts will show up.
Glasses were professinally made and in great shape but order took much longer to process than I thought it would take. Not a big deal buy should probably give customers an estimate of how long it's going to take.
Went to check on an order that hadn't shipped yet and the associate John MIller helped me out big time. He relayed to me it would be shipping today which is great because I leave for vacation at the end of next week. Two thumbs up!

Ordered glasses on Dec 7th never heard anything for 3 weeks. Called multiple time was told they were in the lab did not receive my new glasses till early jan. If I had known it would take over a month to get these I would be gone somewhere else. At least you got the prescription right.

I had a really unfortunate experience with EZContacts. I ordered glasses for my father as a birthday gift, only to learn weeks later that they would arrive in two months given an extended backorder that the website did not provide visibility into.
Waited three weeks for my order to ship. Only my 2 boxes of contacts were sent out. DHL as the only shipping option shines a light on just how poorly this company operates. Waited another 3 weeks before my glasses shipped -- "expedited shipping" because I complained still took 5 days in transit -- and they arrived sized so wrong as to be unwearable. Being 20% cheaper than much of the competition was NOT worth the headache. Never again.
I placed an order for contacts on Dec 31,2018. Beginning on Jan 14,2019 I emailed them 4 separate times. Each time I received a "canned" reply (they will ship between 24-48 hours). Twice yesterday( Jan 31,2019) and twice today (Feb 1,2019) I tried "live chat". I waited 45 minutes each time, but when my queue was up THEY disconnected and suggested I send an email. Today, Feb 1,2019, I called the toll free number and waited on the line for over 30 minutes to cancel my order. Now, once again, I wait to see if they follow through with my cancellation request. Never will I order from EZContacts again!
Terrible customer service when handling my situation with a late delivery. I was aware the frame needed to be order which said would take 1 week but it took 4 weeks to get my frame DELIVERED. Spoke with upper management and they just kept saying "sorry" but in no way shape or formed tried to keep my business. Couldn't care less about me no longer shopping or recommending their site. I rarely leave bad reviews but terrible service. Won't shop here again and friends stopped ordering from here as well. Amazon ships faster and has the same prices.
Well i received the wrong pair of eyeglasses aside from the the lenses are made like $#*!! Tried to return them and they want to charge me 6 bucks to ship them back when it was their mistake than when i went to order the ones i orginally wanted they told me they had them in stock then the next morning i wake up to an email saying its not in stock... god forbid you call customer service no one speaks clear English, they dont understand what your saying... great website for good prices on designer sunglasses but dont order prescription $#*! from them though... unless it actually contacts... ive been using this company for 12 years and never have i experienced anything this aweful with this company. Mind you im legally blind. You'd think they would try to make things right for a half $#*!ing blind person
I looked at a number of sites to find sports googles for my daughter and came back to EZ. There were many choices in frames and lenses but less expensive than many other places. Could use more frame colors for school teams. Black isn't my daughter's first choice. She was not thrilled to have to wear them but after getting hit in the face with a volleyball and having one nose pad indent into her skin and bleed, she was glad we had ordered them. They took a bit longer to come than I would have liked but am grateful she now has the eye protection. No complaints of fogging and says it is like looking through her regular glasses. She will wear them for basketball as well.
Website was easy to use, accurate and available types of lenses for my specific prescription which many big box stores couldn't offer. Super fast shipping of custom order doesn't get much better! A+++

We have used this company in the past with no problems. We recently cancelled an order because they charged our card before shipping. We re-ordered and were assured by customer service that our card would not be charged until the item was available and shipped. Our card was charged the same day. Four days later we received notification that the item shipped along with a USPS tracking number. But now, a week later, USPS is showing that the item has not left its Brooklyn distribution center. How could that be?
We are beginning to think we are inadvertently in the business of providing short-term loans to this company. They have our cash and we get it back three weeks later when we realize we are not going to receive anything for it.
This was my first and last time ordering prescription glasses from EZ contacts. It took over a month to receive my order and the glasses weren't wearable. Luckily the local eyeglass shop does free adjustments. I realize they can't fit you virtually but they were so bent out of shape that it wasn't even a basic starting point. Very odd. Poor experience overall. I tried to return them and just keep getting an error message.

After writing this review and sending off another volley of emails, I was contacted by someone in the company who said my lenses were on their way. They were not due to arrive for another week but I did get them and the Rx was correct. Lenses are in good shape. After my experience with them, I'll stick with ordering my lenses from my eye doctor instead just to avoid the hassle in the near future.
I REALLY really wish I had read reviews of this place before ordering my lenses. They state that they don't charge you until the order is shipped and they took my money and a week later, it still hasn't shipped out. I am so angry right now. If I don't hear back from them, I am calling my credit card company and seeing if I can dispute the charge and have it reversed.
Stay away from this place!
I will adjust my review if I manage to get my lenses soon and if they are the correct Rx.

If all calls made to inquire about specifics on a large purchase was handled with this much care, I would never have to shop outside again. Judy made this experience so pleasant and delightful that we were almost going to purchase these Cazal frames from another site because they were significantly cheaper, Judy put in the work, got us a great price match and we said why not do all are business with EZContacts! Judy should be given some type of commission check on our purchase alone. Great Job... we will back and tell everyone we know!
Sent me the wrong prescription for my contacts. Someone was supposed to call me but never did. Several emails and calls still nothing. Feel like I've been ripped off. Horrible experience. Don't waste your time/money! Reporting them to the BBB. Scam!
To Start, both my prescription glasses and sunglasses arrived weeks late. This was mostly due to COVID-19 closures so it was understandable at first but the communications from EZContacts was what made it difficult. Numerous times I was given shipping dates that came and went with no follow up or further clarification. I received emails saying packages shipped and even arrived weeks before this was actually true.
QUALITY: Luckily insurance covered 100% of the costs so I made sure to get nice frames and lenses with multiple upgrades. So far lenses are great. Very clear and helpful with screens (blue tint applied). The Ray Ban frames for the sunglasses came loose and don't fit securely to my head. They are the proper size but the arms loosen each time I put them on. I found myself adjusting them constantly on the first day of use. For such an expensive pair of sunglasses I'd like them to just work. Aside from the lenses, I've had $12 glasses off Amazon fit better.
Ordered my prescription glasses on 12/31/22 for $362. These frames were in stock and according to their website would ship within 3-5 days. I have emailed them 3 times now and the response is always the same. Supply chain delays...another 1-2 weeks...sorry for the delay. It's now 6 weeks and still has not shipped and still no updates. I wish I had read all these reviews before ordering from this company. One would think that their customer service reps would get tired of sending excuses and apologies. Lord knows I wouldn't continue to work for a company that can only offer lip service. I'm dangerously close to canceling my order and contacting Consumer Affairs.
