The company is great and customer service was top notch... my only issue is there were no instructions on how to put this thing together. Luckily I am handy and had quads and bikes my entire life so it went together in about 2 hours... a. video or manual would have come in handy. Other than that... very solid bike!

Our gokart lasted 1 month then stopped charging. It seems like an easy fix…but because they have the actual worst customer service, we don't know how to fix it. Like all the previous reviews…we too do not get called back. Do not buy from this company. They are Terrible. Still waiting on my call back after emailing multiple times and calling for the last 3 days.

Customer support is zero. Free shipping consists of an access fee, a fuel surcharge, a residential delivery surcharge, and a liftgate surcharge that total almost $200. They do not provide you with a certificate of origin so you can title and register your scooter. Instead you must email them and ask for one, then wait 3-5 weeks for them to get off their asses and send you one. Meanwhile you have a vehicle that you cannot use. If you ask to speak to a supervisor they rfuse to let you speak with one.

When I first spoke with them super nice and helpful. I ordered A Tforce quad from them got it no issues. Gave it to my son for his birthday got about a ten minute ride out of now it won't start. All in all there costumer services sucks. Won't return phone calls and no help with getting it fixed yet. So please buy from someone else

I placed an order on 11/20/2020. I immediately called them and confirmed that they would be delivered by 12/21/20. Today is 01/20/2020, All I have received from Family Go Karts is excuses and the run-around. They have NO TRACKING info for my order and do not know when my 2 ATV's will be delivered. I am also told that I cannot talk with anyone regarding my order, all I can do is submit a request for tracking by sending them an email. Of which, I do not get a response back. This is unacceptable. These were Christmas gifts for my children and they understood that they may be late. However, at this point, the entire family is angry and disappointed in the unAmerican spirit within this company. I will never purchase from them again and would recommend that no one else does either!

First I received a call that the item I ordered was not available and they asked if I would like a different item. I asked a couple questions and they were supposed to get back with me but instead they just shipped me the other unit. Ok I will go ahead with that but then the unit arrived and it had no instructions and was missing parts. When I called to see if they could be sent they told me I would have to go online and complete a form to request them. You have to print out the form to complete it and then scan and email it to another place. According to the reviews from others chances are you will never receive them. Now let's talk about delivery, the man was so rude and wanted to charge me an additional $70 just to take it off the truck. I paid for shipping with the order and when I called the company they told me that they are not responsible for the delivery truck people. Don't order from this company they are a rip off!

I placed an order for my son's ATV. The original color we ordered was not available. The owner emailed me and asked what my next choice was. I responded with my choice via email. I received the receipt and Tracking information with the wrong color. I emailed the owner within 5 minutes of receiving the tracking info and he is doing everything he can to dodge responsibility. I have it all in writing and he refuses to call me or answer the phone. I just received the tracking information and he is demanding that I take pictures of the box (that I don't have) and send them to him. Then he wants me to have the shipper send him the picture. This is his responsibility, his shipper ad he's trying to put this on me. I literally just want the right color, not a kidney! Something is just not right about this. Calling my bank and filing a fraud claim. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!

Purchased an electric goKart with charger. Charger worked one time. They would not talk to me about me problem. Said I had to file complaint on line with pictures. After doing so was replied by Family GoKarts that buying a replacement was out of their hands since the manufacturer had to respond to them about my request for a replacement charger even after I said I would pay for a new one plus shipping. I ordered a Tao DBX-1 dirt bike a few weeks ago. I did receive the unit within 2 weeks of placing my order; however, when it arrived, the box was severely damaged. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and accepted the package. When I opened the box to begin the assembly process, I discovered my bike was damaged. The swing arm was damaged and the front fork plastics were damaged. I contacted them and informed them the unit was defective. They emailed me requesting I send them photos of the damage, so I did, but they never responded. I paid $1,200 for a damaged bike, and I'm stuck with it. See attached pics.

Never shipped, never shipped, so we cancelled and have written confirmation from them that they cancelled. All of a sudden we received notice it shipped so we called. They only have less than half of our money back. Thieves! Fraud!

I love it, thought would be smaller but fits perfectly. Runs beautiful sounds nice. Was missing pieces, but just went to the auto store. I wouldnt want anything bigger or smaller height or engine size. Just what i was looking for

This has been a nightmare the only thing the company was quick about is taking my money I had 2 quads delivered for Christmas and it's January 3rd and my kid is waiting to ride it doesn't run they are garbage a cmplete waste of money and Jay is a fast talker that makes a lot of jokes about new yorkers and has yet to call me back... I want a refund or new quads or at the very least a phone call back asap

12/30/19 We purchased two four-wheelers from Jeff at Family GoKarts and what a nightmare! We received them damaged and called them upon us receiving them we were told to issue a claim which we did! Guess what nothing happened! We tried repeatedly to contact Jeff and were ignored. After numerous times of trying to contact them, we put a stop payment on the Credit Card! Family Go-Karts are notorious for doing this to people! We did get some of our money but they took $1000. 00 from Us! Their machines are garbage totally unsafe for children! DO NOT BUY FROM FAMILY GOKARTS

I brought a electric atv for my son costing me $450 total, when I receive it to find out it wasnt moving at all so contacted tech support through email only apparently for weeks back and forth. So o finally give em and wanted to send it back for refund. They tell me im responsible for shipping it back so i had to pay $200. Then wait weeks for a refund they tell me i will get back $369 for the item and when i get my refund it was only $283 they said because they charged me for the shipping fee when they shipped it out to me! This is a total scam! Do not buy from them i warn you! How they charge me for almost everything when the item they send me that was defective! Hope everyone learns from this. Worst customer service ever as well all they do is hang up the phone when your tryna get your point across.

Never ever consider familygocarts.com. This place has horrible customer service. Atvs arrived damaged. Did not run. I had to purchase new carburetors. Brake hub was cracked. This company would not help and made me feel like this was my fault. STAY AWAY FROM HERE!

Never go to this site! Buy elsewhere!

Ordered two jeeps in December for my boys added a protection plan for services and service parts my boys tried to ride them the first day neither of the jeeps cranked. One had a dead battery ( after I changed the batteries like instructed) I replace the battery myself The other one wouldn't start tried over and over when it did start it begin to smoke I was fearful it would catch on fire contacted the company said it was my responsibility to repair the jeep. I asked for them to exchange it because I felt like it was faulty. Said it was my responsibility I will never refer them to anyone. Terrible customer service. Multiple email exchanges. And eventually was screamed out over the phone by customer rep. $5000 flush down the toilet!

Tip for consumers:
Do not use this site to buy any ATV or Go Cart items for your children they are thrown together not assembled correctly and they won’t communicate with you through emails and trying to resolve problems with mechanical issues

I purchased 2 jet 9 4 wheelers, one was completely damaged at delivery and both units are missing a ton of parts! On top of all that, it was the wrong unit. It was obvious, the whole brake assembly was different from the other, and plastic guards were also different, not to mention that the rear racks were different also. I tried contacting them but there customer service is rude, not caring, inconsiderate "helen"... they never call back. I finally got an answer 2months after delivery and still not assembled. That they are not doing anything to remedy the problem! They basically said " you are screwed " and kept my money and didnt do anything. Im a single dad and was trying to buy 4 wheelers for my kids, now they are upset and sad cuz these damn ppl at this place. I dont have much, snd i dont like being robbed!

I placed an order for an ATV online which included free shipping. Once the order was placed and confirmed, they called me and said because i live in New York i needed to pay another $200 on top of the $500 i already paid claiming that shipping to New York is expensive. Meanwhile the website advertises free shipping. I canceled the order.

Worst customer service. I had originally ordered a Vitacci mini hunter but they sent me a Kandi 60cc atv instead. They look the same but they are 2 different manufacturers, with 2 different prices. If they were "the same" it would not be an option to choose between the 2 of them and there wouldn't be different prices. After bringing this to there attention they basically told me to deal with it. Now only 4 months later the atv is broken and my 4 year old barely and hardly rides it to begin with. I take great care of my stuff but this thing is a POS. Save yourself the aggravation and buy from somewhere else. This company "offers" military discounts but has no problem screwing over there veterans to make a few extra bucks. Stay away.

Stay away from family go karts, if you do order make sure you look at what you recieved because they will try to pull fast one on you by sending you a different atv then what your ordered

Please don't purchase from the place. We purchased a ATV for our son for his 8th birthday. The ATV came late after we paid for expedited services. Then after we had someone put the ATV together we noticed that it was idling too fast and wouldn't stop. We tried to get in touch with the company as we paid for that service ( which was a extra fee) we had to email and call several times and still wasn't able to get the issue resolved and was pushed off. I had to call my bank and dispute the charge as this company has sold us a damaged ATV and decided not to assist us. Never even rode the damn thing. I refuse to lose out of my hard working money. Don't buy from this company at all...

I bought a Tao Tforce for my sons birthday. It had issues with rear brake caliper. Jeff told me to grind down the brake pads to fix the issue. It had nothing to do with brake pads. He wouldn't help me but told me to pay for a part to fix. Horrible experience. My son hasn't been able to use the ATV in almost a year.

Don’t buy from these guys. They don’t care about the customer.

I was given the run around for my Military discount plus my refund for a lift gate truck. It took two weeks before I received my package. I got a call at 10:45am on May 4 and was told the truck will be there in 1-hr. The truck didn't show up until 15 minutes to 2; 00pm. My package was missing the parts inventory sheet, had parts missing, cover for top of Go-cart had holes in it, Right turn signal I had to get it fixed, and missing instruction sheet how to put cart together.

This company is a sad representation of "family owned" and "faith based". We were lied to by every employee we talked to. We placed our order on 3/28 no reply or response or anything until 4/4 I contacted as to why I hadn't received an email or information in regards to my order. I was told because I needed to pay an EXTRA $184.77 in shipping even though it is advertised FREE SHIPPING. I paid the fee and was told that it was in stock and would be shipped within 1-3 days and the shipment driver will call me. It is now 4/16 no call from anyone, my order isn't processed and my son who has now been waiting 3 weeks for delivery has to start fresh with us purchasing elsewhere. STAY CLEAR! TO add insult to injury you cant cancel with a person you have to submit a ticket on line... who knows how long it will take to recieve our money back to be able to purchase a different one.

After I received my 49 cc scooter. Found out that I needed to have it registered where I live. So after contacting the title clerk. I received the paper work. WRONG. Papers. The bill of sale and title did not match. I have the title for a piece of equipment that I did not purchas. But the bill of sale was correct Contacted title clerk back. And my reply back was that she did not see any problem with the paper work. So I highlited the issues and explained that the title was wrong. So all she did was send me the bill of sale that matched the title. Not my order. Ant not my equipment. Still not right. I have now made 3 trips to the county clerk. And they still will not touch it So contacted back the clerk again. My reply back was. I do not know what you want me to do. How about your job. And maybe if you read the message that I sent you. Then there would not be a issue am about ready to make them take this back.

It took them 7 weeks to send the Certificates of Origin for for 2 scooters that I had purchased.
Unless you are prepared to wait this long I wouldn't order any motosports vehicles from them.
They do not issue the certificates themselves like other sellers but have to request it from the companies they buy from, then they sit and wait for it to arrive at their office and then mail them out at their leisure. Horrible service. I will never buy from them again.

They are unconcerned about improving their slow services and just give excuses instead of streamlining their processes

Customer service is a joke! Product received broke 2 days after Christmas. Sent an email. Was asked to upload pics. I did. Waited a month for a response. Had no idea I had uploaded pics and asked me to again. I told them I did. Waited and received questions like "why did you take this pic?" Ummm, it's a wheel in my hand that broke off?! Called today, lady answering the phone was one of the rudest individuals I have ever spoken to. Refused to put the person I was requesting to talk to on the phone and then hung up on me. A month and a half, no resolve, broken dune buggy. Was MORE that friendly when I was placing a 3k order... liar and used car salesman. STAY AWAY AND FIND ANOTHER VENDOR!

Do not buy from these people!
I ordered a quad from them and the next day canceled. Their site says no fees if canceled before processing. That's a lie! They tell you it doesn't process until they call you but I never got a call and the crooked owner made sure to take a bunch of money from me and call it a processing fee!
The owner is a complete pos! He's a thief and he's a liar
