Placed an online order last week, nothing on the website told me orders may be a week or so for shipment and the email the next day told me they shipped with a tracking # but for 10 days it said label created so I called and my order was just sitting there and told me it would be another week for delivery and gave me an excuse that they only get pick ups once a week or every other week... that is straight bs, every carrier normally stops in to businesses at least once a day or every other day to see if you have stuff going out... if there are delays the email for my order should of said so not telling its on the way with an eta of the next day.
I ordered a pair of Nike sneakers online. They were sold out in stores. The order was placed on June 20,2020. They took a weeks or so to arrive. They were not as described. The color was off & they were too big. I shipped them back via my USPS with tracking & a receipt. They have gone around & around to several post offices & several cities. I have tried multiple times to call customer service. On hold for over an hour then disconnected. I sent an email. Was told it will take 16-21 days for them to even respond! It will be over four months before I see my refund! If any. This company is not very professional. I will not shop with them in the future.

Used to shop here but they now close even earlier since the Xmas season started (now that's logical). The one in Leominster is open til 6pm. Unless you are a kindergarten teacher or retired - most of us are not even out of work yet! Ridiculous. What are we 5 yrs old? Probably a Covid thing - no staff as no one seems to need to work anymore. Sadly I do … I like to eat now and then.
Men's offerings not 20% of floor space, shelves empty, no medium sizes available, staff non-helpful if you can find them. Not a viable company long term, at least not as a retail store. Complete opposite of say Sketchers locations.
We normally love Famous Footwear, but I was in two weeks ago to purchase ONE pair of $70 shoes for my son. The employees were trying out a new handheld device to process payments. Swiped my card, transaction never finished on the handheld (or so they thought), so they switched me over to the regular register. Now it's two weeks later (and I've called their customer service twice), and I still have two separate charges on my bank account for the exact same amount on the same day. And now I'm told they can't find the second charge in their system. So now I'm off to call my bank to submit a dispute. AGGGHHH. So frustrated.
My credit card was disabled by Famous Footwear even though there was more than enough money for my purchase. When I called customer service, I was told then to purchase a gift card and use that instead. This is the dumbest, most inept business. Stay away!
I have tried purchasing three pairs of shoes online at Famousfootwear.com and they take all of your promos, certificates and gift cards without sending you a product. Customer service is so hard to get a hold of on phone and told me the products were unavailable after I purchased three times! No response when you email customer service. I just wanted to use a gift card they gave me for an earlier problem I had with company not sending my shoes. I just want to get shoes for my son. Now all of my coupons, promos, certificates and gift cards are gone and NO shoes. My order status says delivered but not one pair ever came to my house. Reported to BBB already. I don't want other people to get ripped off either.
They discriminate against you for mistakes made by the company. FedEx delivered my package to the wrong address and as a result they told me I can no longer receive orders to my address. Will no use this company anymore, I rather pay full market price.
I would give them a minus one star if I could. My order currently is lost. I've tried contacting customer service. They will not reply to me. If you call them they tell you to wait because shipping is backed up because of Covid. How long do we have to listen to this excuse. They are the worst Buy from anyone else. Don't buy from famous footwear.
This was a great experience! I originally went into the store and located the shoe I wanted to buy but they didn't have my husband's size. The store manager directed me to order online, that it was free shipping and that I would receive the shoes within 5 days. The site was easy to surf and very user friendly. I found the shoes easily, ordered them and actually received them in 2 days!
I used to love famous footwear. But their company is so $#*! backwards they do not care about their customers they do not want to make your order correct, they have no problem taking your money and then telling you tough nuggies if you don't get your product horrible company would never recommend them to anybody ever shop anywhere but here
I had an absolutely horrific experience shopping at famous footwear due to an employee that works at the st. Louis premium outlets in Chesterfield.
The incident happened Saturday when I was shopping with my neice and I overheard an employee named Jennifer, who later said she was the manager of the store, use the N word and also absolutely reeked of marijuana.
I don't know what sort of employees they hire there but I need to find where I can report this incident because I imagine this is not the kind of behavior that's tolerable at this place of business.
My daughter and her friends went inside to look around while they waited for me to pick them up. They were being polite and not loud. After a bit they decided to sit down. The worker that had been eyeing them the whole time immediately came over to them and asked if they were looking for anything in specific. They told him they were just looking around. He told them that they had to leave because they were not buying anything. He proceeded to kick them out and left them in the very cold weather. This was ridiculous.
I placed an order for 3 pairs of Nike shoes I received an email saying it was canceled due to limited stock so I go back online and they have the same shoes in my size online. I called customer service and they say I don't know why your order was canceled because it's showing we have those in stock you can order again. Now why would I want to do that you charged my card and you want me to do it again and take the chance it happens again... No Thanks! If I could give zero stars I would. They charge you than cancel the order for no reason..
I went to this store, due to the need of shoes for the Summer. They had a variety of very nice shoes, except none were in my size. I saw a sign posted stating, "Cannot find your size, ask an Associate for assistance." I did so, asking where are the wide width shoes. The Associate asked if that was shoe brand. I was in shock. I asked the person at the register and she told me they only carry wide width in athletic shoes. I was so sad and disappointed. Why do they discriminate against people who have wide feet? It's not something we can help. Aren't wide feet people customers too that needs suitable shoes? How can an Associate working in shoe store asked if wide width shoe is a brand? I would have laughed, but was too upset to do so. I just wanted to purchased a few shoes for myself.
You're the only company i have ever heard of that makes a customer, that is dissatisfied with YOUR product, pay for return shipping and you can't return to the store. I see multiple reviews on here about the same thing. WAKE UP FAMOUS FOOTWEAR! Will never buy from you guys again. You send your packages by Fed Ex and then print out a form for mail for returns? I checked the price for a mail return on my shoes... $41.85. One again, WAKE UP! Get with the program.
We ordered in store to our home (We live very far north) the service in store was amazing and we were assured the shoes would be shipped within a few days. Three weeks later I call and wait on hold for a half hour to be told that the order was cancelled and now that I had called they would refund me within 10 business days and then she hung up on me. I'm severely disappointed and quite frustrated with the customer service not informing me that the order was cancelled or unavalible because now all the colours are sold out and I have to start my search all over. It's a huge hassle.
I ordered a pair of Nike slides(sandals for the pool) in a size 12, well a week later they arrived showing a size 12 on the receipt and a 13 on the box but the shoes inside the box were size a 3,, seriously! This is just stupid, how can you make 3 mistakes with one order? I wont return them as the reviews state that it is a waste of time, but I will post this review in every place possible, Dont order from them they are a joke!
I enjoyed the service, even if I was being a handful trying to find my size but one of the workers Eric' helped me so much trying to find my size and then found a shoe that I was told they didn't have anymore but he found it for me and was very polite and tried really hard to find me shoes. He was one of the biggest helpers there for me.
I was at store 351 the other day, at 555 E Wetmore Road in Tucson. Everyone including the manager was professional, friendly and helpful. The manger explained that one foot was bigger than another whenI asked the question. My sales associate was Angel. He was great helping me find exactly what I wanted. They are lucky to have him as a sales associate. He even helped with training a new sales associate on the register to ring up my sale. I definitely will be shopping a lot at this location.
Answer: I don't know what the most popular shoes are, but I can tell you that if you order online, you should order a brand you already have, so that you know how they fit you. I know that Clark's shoes are very popular. I already had a couple pairs of Clark's, so I knew the right size. I ordered 2 pairs online, and they fit perfectly. If you can, go to the mall and try on a brand you like, see how they fit, and then order online if it's cheaper that way.

Ordered from 3 companies the same day the same shoes only in different colours Belk and Pennys did not have the colour I really wanted. I never had heard of famous footwear so I ordered because they had the exact colour I wanted. Sadly I read these reveiws and thought I had been cheated. But their order came in 1st and was exactly the same shoe. I am not sure if it was a fluke but it was some of the best purchase I've ever made!
Answer: Yes this company does allow exchanges and returns. But the one thing everybody should know if you order online and get a receipt it says how much you have to pay to return them. So yes this company does but you have to pay. For wide feet I feel like they should have more options, my mother has wide feet and it is really hard to find shoes she can fit into but also her size. What I would do if I were you I would buy Puma's, they work on all different lengths of feet and they are really comfortable.
