So my mother ordered me shoes for christmas we open our presents early every year so i opened my shoes and i got two left feet shoes and to make matters worse they were different sizes and when we called so we can try to have someone explain she was very rude and didn't even try to help in the background of the call we could hear employees talking gossip about customers.So please if you get shoes make sure they are they right ones.
Simply put, I ordered two pairs of different style hikers from the site (not the US site) and never got them. Waited and waited for weeks, order status said processing and then when I emailed them and waited yet again for a response, was finally emailed back and told my order was cancelled due to some auditing check, whatever that means. Ridiculous customer service. Spend your money with a far more reliable company. I will say I got my money refunded however they will not get my business again. Nothing famous about this company. LOL
I ordered a pair of shoes from famous footwear paid for it with a credit card accidentally put the wrong mailing address they refused to give me a refund or to change the address so my package could be delivered to the right address please do not buy anything online at famous footwear they will steal your money and rip you off
I bought a pair of shoes from famous footwear and one of the shoes was badly damaged at the back and was un wearable. So if you buy any products from them, be prepared to have to ship it back. They did email me a pre paid shipping label and I will be refunded, but I'll never buy anything from them ever again. I'm just not willing to waste my time when I can buy from other places that sell good quality products!
Train customer service representatives to be helpful in any way to resolve issues. If you have to buy from them just do it in store because if you have any issue with shipping they are unable to change address, cancel or amend an order at all. Spoke with two reps over the phone and both were rude, unsympathetic to the issue, and entirely unhelpful. I used to buy from them a few times a year and this was my last purchase.
I purchased two pairs of sneakers in a size 8.5 wide instead of my usual 9 at the salesperson's suggestion, as there were no size 9's in stock. After wearing each pair exactly one time, I had a blister and pain on the right foot.

I placed an order, waited a month with no ship notification, contacted support, received return email saying my order was cancelled, contacted phone support, waited for 30 minutes on hold, service representative hung up on me.
I ordered a pair of shoes through the store to be shipped to my house. The wrong colour arrived after 2 weeks. The lady in the live chat was very unhelpful. When I complained that her solution to "go return it and reorder the same pair" was not good enough. She kept trying to end the conversation. At one point she tried to end the conversation with "bye bye", and when I asked a question, she stopped replying.

The policies here are ridiculous. I don't know who came up with the idiotic idea to not be able to help the customer change addresses and shipping details. They can't change your address, they can't cancel your order and they are programmed to say "unfortunately" this, that and the other. The company leads are incompetent. With much disrespect y'all online service is trash!

These people are idiots. Ordered a pair of shoes over the phone but apparently they don't know the difference between a ship to address and a billing address. This is my first experience with Famous Footwear and is also my last! Apparently they don't need new customers and after reading their reviews I 'm shocked anyone shops there. In addition their stores are filthy.
I bought 2 pair of shoes and sent back one. They were unprofessional with the return and took almost 5 weeks to find the order and start the process on the refund witch saddens me because I liked the company before that. I would not suggest anyone do business with this company because if you cant get the business aspect right it's not cool at all.
I remember shopping at Famous Footwear many years ago as a young person. But I recently found some shoes online that I ended up purchasing as they had the best price. And I checked probably 7-8 places at least. What a pleasant surprise.
This is a fake site. I purchased cotton suit from this site on 17th Oct 2020. However suit was not delivered. I sent an email to them to which there was no response. I even raised a compliant on their site. I did not even receive an acknowledgement of my email or complaint which normally all business sites do. Hence think this is a fake site
I ordered a pair of shoes for a wedding the 7th of this month and I still haven't received them. Going on a month and the customer service seems to have no concern! Everyone gives me a different solution. Call back this and that. All because they were quick to take my money but they fell to say they use FedEx Smart and they don't deliver to PO Boxes! So now my shoes lost in the system!
Famous footwear is holding my refund hostage AND tried to adjust the price of the item AFTER the return reducing the ammount to be refunded. They even tried to tell me they keep the sales tax. It's been 15 days since they received my returned item which I sent back immediately because it didn't meet my expectations. I'll update this review when I receive my refund, but I doubt I will shop online with Famous footwear... if the refund is complete and correct I might still shop brick and mortar... it's not looking good though so as of now no way do I recommend Famous footwear
Horrible customer service they are not Informative and been waiting on my shoes for a month they use fedex tracking is slow and not accurate they won't even let me cancel my order do not buy here so frustrated with Famous footwear
I ordered 2 pairs of adidas sneakers on August 6. They were both deeply discounted at BOGO 50% off plus another 15%. They came out to $60 including shipping. One pair arrived on Aug 8 and the other pair arrived on August 9. This was my first time buying from Famous Footwear and will definitely be coming back. Thank you for a great service and absolutely unbeatable price!
My 4 year old son and I love going into famous foot ware. FFW always has great deals where everyone in the house walks out with at least 2-3 pairs of shoes they Iove! We'll be going back again!
I would give it a zero star if I could, just got off a phone call with their customer service. I purchase two pair of shoes online and one pair arrived last week, I wear it one time to work and the other in light snow on the ground. The color on the shoe ran off on the shoe, I asked for a exchange and the customer service lady said I would need to mail it back to the corporates office at my expense and repurchase the shoe. I asked why I would have to send it back at my expense since this is a defective on the shoe. The cost of the shipping and box just to return it is about half the cost, she then said that is all they could do. Let say, lesson learned.
I would never purchase anything from them again. Famous Footwear, you have lost a customer and believe me I will tell everyone not to buy from you again.
Answer: I don't know what the most popular shoes are, but I can tell you that if you order online, you should order a brand you already have, so that you know how they fit you. I know that Clark's shoes are very popular. I already had a couple pairs of Clark's, so I knew the right size. I ordered 2 pairs online, and they fit perfectly. If you can, go to the mall and try on a brand you like, see how they fit, and then order online if it's cheaper that way.
Answer: I Actually had a good experience. Ordered from 3 companies the same day the same shoes only in different colours. Ordered from 3 companies the same day the same shoes only in different colours Belk and Pennys did not have the colour I really wanted. I never had heard of famous footwear so I ordered because they had the exact colour I wanted. Sadly I read these reveiws and thought I had been cheated. But their order came in 1st and was exactly the same shoe. I am not sure if it was a fluke but it was some of the best purchase I've ever made!
Answer: Yes this company does allow exchanges and returns. But the one thing everybody should know if you order online and get a receipt it says how much you have to pay to return them. So yes this company does but you have to pay. For wide feet I feel like they should have more options, my mother has wide feet and it is really hard to find shoes she can fit into but also her size. What I would do if I were you I would buy Puma's, they work on all different lengths of feet and they are really comfortable.
