I saw the promotion sale sign on their window just outside of there checkout and I entered the store because of that promotion. Sale sign was spend $75 get $15 off, $100 get $25 off and spend $125 and get $30 off. I spent $125 for 2 pairs of shoes and they didn't give any single penny discount. I talked with them and they told me we don't have any promotions. I showed the promotion sign hanging in the window and sales associate told me he doesn't know anything about that.
I recently went to the Famous footwear store in Washington Township, NJ. I was truly amazed at the attention and service given to me by the Sales person, Kay.
She is definitely an asset to this company and I just want to spread the word about such a rare commodity.
The lady working the Huber Heights, Ohio location was very disrespectful. My grandmother needed help with a shoe, and she eventually decided to order them online, and the lady working walked away sarcastically and shrugged her shoulders. Also, this store didn't have a single shoe that fit my brother and he was a size 7. Whats up with that?
Ordered a pair of van platforms. Opened them and they had red stains and grass stains all over them! Luckily I was able to spray it off with Spray And Wash but they should have never sent them in such condition!
Selection of shoes is pretty good, got some nice brands to chose from. But all I was trying to do was exchange two pairs of shoes and waited for 20 minutes for it all to get transacted correctly. So frustrating.
I used to find great shoes, especially Nikes and loved getting the Buy one Get one 50% off but now they have a poor selection and exclude all of the actual shoes worth buying. Journeys and Foot locker have better prices!
I buy all of my footwear at famous footwear. They have a wide variety of everything and if they don't have my size they order it for me and it arrives at my house a few days later with no shipping charge.
I placed an order on famous footwear and they canceled it then told me I canceled, which in fact I did not. I've been shopping here for years and they have completely lost my trust and money. They suck the end.
My card says customer since 2016! I've purchased a lot of shoes from Famous Footwear both in store & online. There was only one order in all the years & tons of shoes that wasn't right. I ordered online but when it arrived it was the way wrong pair. I took it down to my local store & in no time my order was corrected & the right pair was in my doorstep in 2 days. I've never had to call customer service, but the employees in my local store are very helpful every time I come in. I love this store & love the points I earn for free shoes & accessories!

Runs snug which I like for snow without extra sox bunching up because of 20° below conditions & made tough enough, high enough expected in NH. Nylon w/ nice flat soles that would grip & last. Furry inside blk w/ brown details. Round toe so comfy in length for true to size narrow width w/ great loops & matching cute coated laces for snow, ice.
Worth every penny, yes but on sale for sure helps. Feels safe on snow or ice much lighter than workboots or leather that peels off after 1 season.

So unimpressed. I placed my first order for a pair of shoes that were on clearance but showed still available in my size. I kept checking back to find for almost a week that it hadn't shipped yet. A day later they email saying my order was canceled due to low inventory. I complained and they said I should place my order again. Then I see thesame shoes advertised on their website for $2 less so I ordered again and it showed stull available in my size. Kept checking again and emailed because it hadn't shipped yet. They told me it hasn't been canceled but the shoes are on back order so it may be a couple weeks before they ship. No email saying they would be linger to arrive until I complained. Then 2 days later they cancel the order for the second time. When I complained again they just sent a discount code. Definitely not buying from them in the future. If I could leave zero stars I would have. I would have waited for the back order to ship.
The customer service is terrible in the store and on the online. This is not the first time that I have ordered boots and they have canceled them without notifying me. The boots on the internet are shown as available but they said no longer have them in stock.
In 8/6/2023 we went shie shopping for school they, didn't have my son's size. So the sale lady recommended to order them for home delivery. So we did that as soon as we went to the cashier. She made me a ugly face because of my home order. I guess she didn't know how to put one so she had a hard time. She had me waiting until I told her if she was going to take care of me, if not to go somewhere else. So she made another ugly face and she didn't honor my coupons because I didn't have one but thats how I received it. I couldn't buy it with the coupon. She didn't even thank me or anything. I felt very disappointed because of the coupon and the customer service. Next time they do me something like this is. I am going to talk to the manager right away. I feel so disappointed. I couldn't get the coupon.
I ordered Cliffs women's espadrilles in black a month ago. They looked great upon arrival, but once I wore them, they cut up my feet to where I was in tears from the pain. Right where my feet bent. It took 4 days of band aids and antibiotics to heal them. I thought that maybe they'd have to break in? For $70 this should not have to be. They did seem to loosen a bit, but now one shoe has about four pleats in the leather, while the other has two? Looks like two different shoes. Would never buy this brand again, or recommend it to anyone.
This is one of America's worst businesses! There is zero customer satisfaction and managers are not interested in resolving problems related to quality, shipping, returns, credit, or refunds. Do not do business with Famous Footwear!
Will never order again from famous footwear! Horrible customer service. Package was supposed to arrive in 5-7 days but literally took 27 days. Arrived at usps depot 1 hour away in 5 days and sat in warehouse for 22 days. After 10 days I called usps to see if I could pick it up they said call sender to authorize pick up. After 4 phone calls getting hung up on and transferred over and over famous footwear said they can't do anything even though they just need call usps or change authorization online. Finally received package after a month even though the package was less than an hour away in perfect weather.
I will NEVER order from famous footwear again!
So I ordered 400.00 worth of shoes for my sons. I've never done that in my life. I receive an email saying sorry we missed you and then an hour later it shows delivered. I look outside nothings there. I call customer service and now it's a waiting game. I will never ever do this again.
If I could give zero stars I would. I will never buy another thing from them. I am trying to get $70 returned to me and they refuse to return it, says my bank has a hold on it. For over a month now! Don't buy or deal with these people, very unprofessional
Went to the Salem center mall in Salem OR and asked the manager if they sold champions and he told me he would not sell any shoes to me because I was a woman. I am very angry and am thinking if sueing due to sexual discrimination. This is unacceptable behavior for anyone let alone a manager. You need to reconsider who you hire. I will make sure everyone knows the discrimination your managers have.
I made the mistake to order boots from famous footwear online on 9/9/21, it says 4-7 business days for delivery but it is now 9/28 and nothing! I track the order and it's been in Chino since 9/18 and hasn't moved! I wish I would've looked at the reviews before making my purchase! I will make another review on the boots when I receive them.
Answer: I don't know what the most popular shoes are, but I can tell you that if you order online, you should order a brand you already have, so that you know how they fit you. I know that Clark's shoes are very popular. I already had a couple pairs of Clark's, so I knew the right size. I ordered 2 pairs online, and they fit perfectly. If you can, go to the mall and try on a brand you like, see how they fit, and then order online if it's cheaper that way.
Answer: I Actually had a good experience. Ordered from 3 companies the same day the same shoes only in different colours. Ordered from 3 companies the same day the same shoes only in different colours Belk and Pennys did not have the colour I really wanted. I never had heard of famous footwear so I ordered because they had the exact colour I wanted. Sadly I read these reveiws and thought I had been cheated. But their order came in 1st and was exactly the same shoe. I am not sure if it was a fluke but it was some of the best purchase I've ever made!
Answer: Yes this company does allow exchanges and returns. But the one thing everybody should know if you order online and get a receipt it says how much you have to pay to return them. So yes this company does but you have to pay. For wide feet I feel like they should have more options, my mother has wide feet and it is really hard to find shoes she can fit into but also her size. What I would do if I were you I would buy Puma's, they work on all different lengths of feet and they are really comfortable.
