They charged me twice for tickets that I purchased and was given the wrong information as their policy. Had my claim go to the so called "corporate team" with no credit to be issued! If they had 0 ratings that would qualify for them! Don't use them!

They charged my credit card twice, and I have been trying for 5 weeks to call them asking for a refund with no luck. They continue to say someone will contact you in 7 to 10 business, and that the process has been expedited, etc... no calls and no refund of my $45. Called my credit card company to dispute the charges. Never Again I will use this company

I received a Fandango gift card for Christmas. First off I made the mistake of trying to use it at the local theater, where I was informed you have to get the tickets on line not at the theater, my mistake. I went to their website, they show all the movies at all the local theaters, that's wonderful. Too bad when you try to buy a ticket, only a select few of the local theaters accept Fandango, And for me those theaters were not the most convenient. Then it is not obvious where you were you enter the ridiculously long card number and pin and to be surprised when you accomplish all that they tack on an in"convenience" fee of several dollars. It wasn't any more fun taking it to the theater and wait in line with the rest of crowd just to have them enter the code number, not very convenient. All and all the service is costly, inconvenient and pretty much there is no added value for the added cost. I have asked family not to buy me Fandango movie tickets. There is no value or convenience to using their "service".

Received $25 Fandango gift card. Bought 2 adult tickets for $11 each. At checkout, it was revealed that Fandango only allowed $9 towards tickets plus a $3 convenience fee. Total rip off! Cant believe they are still in business.

First of all, Fandango does NOT allow you to register gift cards into the system so you have to remember a 19 digit number plus a pin every time you buy a ticket. Then, God forbid, if you should misplace a card or need assistance; I had to wait 20 MINUTES to get someone on live chat and THEN she kept telling me she couldn't help me and finally just ended the chat while I was still typing information to her! WTF. She did, however, provide a phone number to call for customer service. Which I used and got SOME satisfaction. James, a very polite young man, took the information and said that that "Gift Cards" was a different department and it would take 7 - 10 days to get an email back to me to resolve the issue. We'll see in 7-10 days.

I tried to purchase tickets online for a movie. The Fandango site timed out and gave me an error. So we rushed to the theater and bought the tickets there. The movie was at 7:30. When I got home there was an email from Fandango stamped 11:15pm (well after the movie) congratulating me on my ticket purchase! I contacted them and they said there was nothing they could do because the movie was over and they would send it to corporate and they would get back to me... they never did. Luckily I paid with PayPal so I tried to contact them through PayPal. Still no response. I escalated it to a case dispute and they didn't even contact PayPal who proceed to side on my part. Here's the kicker... Fandango didn't even have enough funds in their account for PayPal to get my whole purchase back! Horrible, or really no, customer service. We will never use them again.

They have the worst customer service. I purchased two tickets online and wanted to cancel those tickets and buy different one at a different locations. They didn't have any options to cancel online, and when I called I was on hold for over 1 hour, not exagerrating, and didn't get anybody on the line. So, the next day I did the chat service, and they said they couldn't refund my money because it's after show. I had bought add'l tickets at a different locations through them, and that they could see that I couldn't make it to the other Theatre and after I explained this, the lady in chat service said No, as in very rude way. Please stay away from this company. They should be banned. The price is no different than purchasing from actual Theatre. They are a rip off company. Please stay away.

A warning so no one else is conned. Review your receipt thoroughly to ensure all is as you selected. This is the second time my receipt did match what was selected at time of purchase. Of course, according to Fandango, nothing can be done at that point. Just be weary.

I contacted customer service because an error page popped- Amdahl charged me but didnt give enough the method of getting my tickets. I waited customer service to answer my call but they never answered. I was on the phone for around 1 hour but they still didnt answer my call. I am pretty confident that fandango (I lower cased their company name on purpose) doesnt give sh1t about their customers. If they truly care about their customers, they would hire more workers so that the can take care of their customers/clients. Worst customer service. Dont buy movie tickets using fandango. I would give it negative starts if I could.

Purchased tickets on line. Didn't have a printer so I relied on the email containing my ticket as my confirmation page said they were sending. That is the only way movie theater accepts online tickets. Didn't have time to check (wouldn't have mattered anyway). Got to the theater there was no email. Email was NOT sent to me until 2:30am the next day. Movie started at 7:00pm night before. It was quite embarrassing... missed beginning of movie. I was able to prove I purchased it on my credit card and they did accept that finally. But $3.00 convenience charge for a total inconvenience. Called customer service support twice only to be kept on hold for 30 mins each attempt. Really? Lesson learned!

Like everyone else I hate this company. The prices were higher than buying at the theatre and they add a "convenience fee" per ticket. Bottom line is tell everyone you know to stay far away from this rip off company.
By the way, you can't redeem the gift coupon or purchase tickets at the theatre. You must go online and pay higher prices and convenience fee.

Paid for tix, did not get confirmation via email. Spent over 30 minutes on hold with Fandango customer service. The representative finally sent me confirmation and the abruptly disconnected me. Will never use Fandango again

I received a gift card on this, I tried to add it to the website, there is a convenience fee of 1.75 for each ticket, also my gift card started with 6006, and the website says that it cannot process any of this gift card starting with 6006! I went to the movie theater and told me that I can redeem this online only!

Terrible, waste of money.

I had to take my husband to the hospital and it was the day before when we planned to go to movie. I called 12 times and finally got up at 6:00am and got through. The lady was rude and obnoxious and would not refund my money. They steal your money and have horrible customer service!

Received a fandango gift card for Christmas for a movie and dinner. Firstly they don't have any option to check for discounts that I do qualify for if I were to purchase at the door, And secondly the gift card is a set amount of 25 dollars. On top of the price of the tickets they add a "convenience fee" of 1.50 per ticket. Which was just enough to push over the 25 dollar limit. I had to use a card to pay $1.96 I think it was. 25 bucks should have been more than enough to buy 2 tickets to a movie.
Fandango is a ripoff. And using their website was not convenient at all considering i had to re-enter all of my information 2 times before it went through. It would have been more of a convenience to throw this damn gift card away, gone to Cinemagic and bought it outright at the counter.
Will not use again.
