We recently visited Applebee's in order to take advantage of the Top Gun movie ticket promotion. For every $25 spent, you would receive a movie ticket. We spent $58, therefore earning 2 tickets. I submitted necessary info and they claimed my receipt was missing info. I submitted a photo and they sent my info to another department for further verification. I kept emailing to find out status of my tickets. Never a response from their customer service until my email today, again asking. I'm now being told that the promotion is over and they don't have to honor my fulfillment. This is poor customer service any way you look at it.
Sold us tickets to Beetlejuice - Spanish version, but it wasn't labeled that. Then refused to refund them b/c it had already started. (Theater was not full.) No way for us to know it was in Spanish until it started. We support the bilingual offering, but don't speak Spanish!

I purchased tickets, had an unexpected conflict, I tried to call to change/refund my tickets, the phone line hung up on me twice so I had to wait until after the show time to attempt to resolve my issue. They refuse to refund or exchange my tickets. I'm stuck with the $78 charge.
This middle man site is useless every seat I choose it says another guest has already selected. Yet it didn't show it was reserved and when I called the theater they said it was empty. Jeep in mind I'm purchasing 3 days out
I spoke to Steve the customer service supervisor and he would not refund our money for a movie that did not state it was in another language. Highly disappointed in fandango and I will never purchase from them again. We had purchased 4 tickets
On 03:22/24 before the movie started I called Fandango to get a refund on one of four tickets that I erroneously purchased. When I called and by the time the person answered it was a few minutes before the movie had started. After I explained the situation to Veronica and she looked me up after putting me on hold it was 7:00, the time the movie was scheduled to start. When she got back to me she told me that she could not reimburse me because "the movie had started". I explained that the movie had not started and it was showing previews. I hoped the Fandango representative would understand the mistake made when the extra ticket was purchased but she did not. I asked to speak to a supervisor and after a few minutes on hold, I explained the situation and he "put me on hold", only to hang up on me. I called back and asked to speak to Zack (supervisor) and I was transferred to him only for him to tell me that he could not refund me "as the movie had started". I hoped that Fandango would understand the innocent mistake, but instead they chose to rip customers off. I am not buying any more tickets from Fandango anymore and do yourself a favor and avoid any problems by buying your tickets directly from the theater itself.
If I could do a zero star rating, I would! This company is a fraud and should be investigated! I filed a complaint with BBB but the case was closed without any resolution. They claimed that my gift cards were expired when I tried to use them which was not true! They refused to replace or issue new gift cards for the ones I was unable to use. What a terrible way to do business!
Deeply disappointed with Fandango—bought tickets, but the movie shown was entirely different from what was advertised. The manager recommended contacting Fandango, emphasizing it was their issue. However, my refund request was denied due to timing. After years of loyalty, this experience has left me disheartened. I'll be exploring alternative methods for future movie tickets. Not recommended!
I purchased tickets through this site, and unfortunately I had an emergency come up that night so I couldn't make the movies. Weeks after remembering the tickets I tried several times to redeem and change the movie and couldn't I tried calling and speaking with reps but after holding on the phone for 45 mins I gave up. I learned today that tickets that I purchased couldn't be redeemed or refunded. Its better just to purchase your movie tickets from the actual theater and cheaper.
Once you purchase the tickets you cannot get a refund if you cannot attend. The theater will not help you or support your booking through Fandango. Very frustrating!

Service. Long story short, I couldn't make the movie, my kid got sick. I attempted several times to cancel/get a refund PRIOR to the start of the movie. Fandango kept refusing my login. It allowed me to login to the regular part of the site, but when I had to submit my email address/conf #, it kept saying my info was invalid. What a sham! The show started eventually and the Fandango said, we can't refund you because the show started….crooks. I opened a case against them with the BBB. In case you haven't realized from their low review score already, let me confirm…DO NOT USE FANDANGO!
We tried to purchase movie tickets with three different Fandango gift cards. None of the card ID numbers were recognized, so they denied the purchase. I complained to the point-of-purchase retailer who apologized, reimbursed the value of the card, and told me that they receive more complaints on Fandango cards than any others.
Paid almost $5 extra for Fandango and got nothing for it other than a ticket. No reserved seat. This is another rip off.
Told me they would replace my movie certificates that expired during the pandemic and are now refusing to do so. They do not respond to emails or messages via social media. Waited on their chat feature for over 2 hours and was never connected with anyone. AWFUL customer service. Will avoid using again at all costs.
If there is any mistake made while ordering tickets you do not have recourse to get your money back. My young granddaughter ordered tickets online to a Cinemark 14. Unfortunately, it was in another state, so when we got to the theater we had to order new tickets. I tried to get a refund but they don't give them once the show starts. We always try to miss previews and don't worry about it because our seats are saved. The fact that there are no exceptions makes this a loosing proposition for customers. There is no customer service to speak of if you try to contact Fandango, you will wait on line for an hour to be told that their contracts do not allow refunds. I hope that Cinemark and other vendors rethink their alliance with this system.

Proctor and Gamble gave me a $5 reward code that Fandango refused to honor after multiple reviews. They don't even treat their clients with respect. I am sure they got their money from P & G. They didn't give a reason because they know they are wrong. Dishonest business model across the board.
Please don't use Fandango for your movie tickets. They are a rip off and terrible customer service. I cancelled my movie tickets and there was some type of glitch because it didn't go through. They would not refund my money although I did not attend the movie and they will not get you in contact with management or anyone other than whoever you get on the phone or by email. They would rather lose customers who have been using them for 10 + years than giving a credit. After now losing $30 for no reason, they had the nerve to say thanks for your understanding and I hope you continue to use our service. Definitely never using them again and I will be more than happy to share my experience with everyone else I know that has been using Fandango. Total RIP OFF. Go to Cinemark :)

I had an issue with trying to refund my ticket due to a misleading communication on their app, I tried so hard to get in touch with customer service and by the time I was given the time of day, the movie had already started, a movie which was an hour away from me that I did not attend. As a result Fandango would not refund my ticket but instead pocket my money.
They treated me so poorly over the phone and gave no consideration to extenuating circumstances regarding my ticket purchase. I Will never use this service again. I doubt this will be seen, but it seems I'm not the only one they have wronged, given their 1 star overall rating.

What a rip off! You buy the gift cards which you can ONLY use online, but you get charged a convenience fee? I will never purchase or even receive another Fandango gift card under any circumstance. Highway robbery!
Bad/non-existent customer service. Impossible to get refund. Buy at the theater. They are lot more likely to give refunds and be helpful than Fandango. I use the app only to look at the show timings but never for buying tickets.
Bought tickets through Fandango. I got to the movies late due to traffic. Theatre, Alamo in downtown Brooklyn, would not admit, because they said after 15 minutes, no admittance. Theater was willing to refund, but tickets were purchased through Fandango. I called and spoken to 2 representatives, including a supervisor and none were willing to refund 6 purchased tickets. They were very rude and unfriendly. Please do not buy tickets for movies or anything else through Fandango. Customer service is reprehensible and they steal your money.

Had a similar issue of multiple charges to my account. I panicked after reading reviews on this site and others about them refusing refunds. Especially since it was the next day.
I was on hold for an extremely long time- over an hour and a half. Within this time I explored disputing the charge with my bank and other options.
Got a hold of a customer rep- explained the situation to her and she got me a refund on all the duplicate orders without issue. Was shocked when the emails came through that they would be processing a full refund. So maybe I just got lucky?
I am stupid and have bought the wrong tickets multiple times. Each time they have refunded me completely even if it was 5 minutes before the movie was about to start. They always have my back and have supported me through my stupidity. Thank you for your service. I love you<3<3<3<3<3; 3; 3; 3
So I've trying to get in contact with corporate bam. A friend who works for Fandango haven ot to me. Yes they are located in New York, Orlando, California and Colorado *******243 I finally found corporates number.
