Fine Art America's selection of products featuring images by artist Sally Edelstein is a shopper's paradise. So much to choose from and easy checkout, too. My selection was of excellent quality, shipping was swift, and I was very impressed with the packaging. Its innovative design guaranteed that my "Morning Moe" coffee cup would arrive in perfect condition. Bravo!
I signed up for Fine Art America hoping to boost my art sales but I'm a bit disappointed. It offers a huge range of products to sell my work, the visibility isn't great unless you actively market your work through your own channel. I wish the qaulity of the prints was more consistent. Some of my prints have arrived looking amazing while others haven't lived up to expectations.
Fine Art America is a master manipulator with respect to the internet search. As you can see they had horrible reviews here for a very long time and getting worst each month thats for sure. More and more artists and customers were calling them out. All of a sudden from the end of January till now, they are getting 5 start reviews buy the hundreds. Why didn't they get this before, if they were so great.
Because they email and use their built in forum to ask the artists to write 5 star reviews for them. They have done this many times before while I was a member. Site-jabber should be able to figure this out.

An artists perspective,
I have tried FAA three times now. The first time, I just felt uneasy and left, the second time I was banned for a year for confronting a moderator in the discussion forum about them breaking the there own rules consistently spamming every discussion with their images for sale.
Third time was the charm. I actually told myself to give it a real go and forget the past. I uploaded about 300 images. Sold a few from my Instagram posts, not from the FAA search that they brag about.
First of all, if your a new photog or artist that is coming there to sell, best of luck. The system they use is a pyramid structure. The more sales you have, the higher you move up in the search. So that means others who have been there for 3 to 7 years are on top, even if the work they sell is sub-par. *A lot of it is* What FAA and the frequent users will tell you is, if you want to sell online, you have to work hard at it. If you cant bring your own buyers here, your lazy. Where else can you get your own website for $30. They have this notion that $30 dollars is cheap to get your own site to sell.
First of all, you don't own anything or have a website there. Its a page that FAA owns that you use. Again, its not a website and its not yours. All the customers that come in to buy your prints are kept secret for FAA only. You don't get to have your own customers info, FAA does. They wont give you the info from your own sales.
Then they have promotions to help new artists and photogs sell. They don't work and haven't for years. In order to use the promotion, you have to put a link from FAA in a high traffic area in your blog or website, then they are suppose to reciprocate and have your image show on the third row in the first page of search results. For less savvy internet uses, you will say "it works, I see my images". Try signing out and looking. You wont show up, its a facade. They do however take your link. Nice huh. One of the moderators said for over a year that they are working on it, lol. They come up with new items to sell every week, but don't have time to fix important things that help the members. They do take your links though.
Customer service is null for both artists and buyers. FAA never gives any discounts, it has to come from the artists side. They charge a big flat rate because they have to pay a printer, then take their own cut. The artist is left with minimal payout.
The discussion forum is a bunch of groupies that sell pretty well. They will not let you know this at all costs, but eventually they cant hold back from bragging. They will suck you dry for any info you have about social media or other types of marketing that is new, that may help them other places. They will not give you any tips that are relevant, mostly will send you to their blog post from a link. It helps them rank better in FAA's search.
Another important thing to remember is that all those discussions they post can be made private, so only members can see them and anyone can make it private. Yes, so that means when a customer or artist has problems concerning bad workmanship or things not working right and makes a discussion, the regs make it private so no one outside FAA thinks they have problems. Everything is great.
I really don't blame them. Some of them sell a ton and don't want anything to ruin that.
I cant really say much about the printers, because I never ordered anything myself, or would ever. I do see customers that come in to the forum all the time complaining though.
Also, if you do join and pay the $30 for the year, you have to tell a moderator to cancel your membership before the anniversary date, or they will auto-charge you again. Their is no opt out. I'm sure that they hope you forget, because it was only $30 and many people do, until they see the new charge. Lots of those discussions too, but they turn private real fast, so you will never see them.
To me this place is a scam pyramid scheme with no regards for its members. I can only imagine what print labs they use.

FineArtAmerica was like finding a diamond in a pile of rocks. The selection was extensive and you can buy so many different things. Service was fast and my card arrived looking so beautiful and professional. I will not hesitate to buy from this company again. Glad I found them online as their unique cards are wonderful.

This company did not provide me with a delivery tracking number despite my request. After 3 weeks, I never did receive my order. I've since sent multiple chasers to this rouge company and my emails have gone unanswered. So if you are thinking of ordering your items with this company after reading the strangely overwhelming great reviews, think twice!

Imagine a seamless experience navigating custom merch web site. The actual artists and designers of images profit through your order. Inspired, I placed my first order as "therapy" during this health crisis in 2020; I highly recommend FineArtAmerica. Wonderful items now cheery and a good feeling to contribute support to the artists!

No issues, lots of selection, easily processed, quickly received. I've ordered two fleece blankets now from an artist friend I've known online for years. Blankets and the art on them is unique and beautiful.

We have recently purchased 10+ pictures from FineArtAmerica. All have arrived in great shape with the exception of one. Trying to get a replacement has been a frustrating process because you must work with their customer service by email. I began the process 6 days ago and I have received one email. This would take less than 2 minutes over the phone.

Absolutely horrible company. They do not print according to their schedule and cannot even get the shipping methods right. Both of my orders were completely incorrect and were shipped a diff method than I purchased. Do not trust this company they will totally screw you over every time!

Hi, I ordered these fantastic prints because I could clearly see how high quality they are on their website. They shipped fast in protective packing. They arrived perfect. I was excited to see these as they are glossy/ super clear/ detailed / sharp photos of live in concert rock musicians that are also hard to find. Their are many more subjects to choose from. Concert prints were just what I was looking for. I am impressed that you can order prints in a huge variety of sizes. Which ever size fits your wall space or budget. I also had a good time scrolling through their entire site as they have many unique offerings to choose from, you have to see it, Craig.

While I don't do lots of business with FineArtAmerica, it's my go-to site for greeting cards and the occasional accessory. The quality of the art and artists represented on FAA is superb across the board. Their service and delivery times are excellent. The only downside to this organization is that my self-esteem suffers when I look at what so many others have created in comparison to my attempts at artistry.

Fineartamerica attracts many many artists with different levels of talent. Some successful artists are now weighting in on SiteJabber. Prior posters were very unsuccessful. Isn't that what America is about? People making their own way in life? I guess those who fail complain a lot about others. FAA is a very successful fulfillment site for all artists, but individual artists have to make it work for them on their own. Many do just that and become pretty successful in the long run.

Because of having to order mostly online lately, I am frequently disappointed when items arrive and are not as expected. This was NOT one of those times. When my wall art arrived, I was very pleased with the beauty and quality. A satisfied customer.

Excellent online shopping site to purchase fine photographic art prints. I also enjoyed browsing. Some of the photography can be described as rare. The purchase went very well. I purchased a beautiful print and it arrived just fine, on time, and looks better than pictured. The frame and mounting is good.

My son gave me the go ahead to decorate his bathroom in his new house. We spent all of our vacations at the Gulf State Park fishing on the pier. It is our happy place I was thrilled to find this shower curtain!

We are very satisfied with our purchases from Fine Art America. Our first framed photo took bit longer to arrive, probably because of the busy holiday season. We were so impressed and knew we needed another picture for our room, we ordered a second which arrived faster. It was really nice not having to worry about matching the frames. We ordered the identical frames but the second picture is larger than the first and they do look awesome. I was particularly impressed with the shipping and very secure packaging that protected the artwork. This was a good purchase.

From their website, they say, "We stock over 250 different frames which can be used to create museum-quality masterpieces from any print." They don't mention the cheap, wavy plastic they cover the print with. They do mention the "finish" but I did not recognize that as a word for the glass. The artist's painting is gorgeous and I may go to a real museum quality gallery to replace this awful, wavy plastic. FineArt Anerica is WAY overpriced.

Found exactly what I was searching for from an enormous range of pictures. Various size and paper options offered on a very user-friendly site.
Received a high quality print at an acceptable price and beautifully packed. Delivery was very quick considering it came from Netherlands. Highly recommend.

It is a very well done canvas and capture the magic between Steven and Joe on stage so far I have two of the set of four I want. I return to them to business because they are easy to get a refund if the pic does not reflex what you thought it might. It costs a little more than some site, but easy returns and work itself is worth the money

I ordered one item. Received notice that it had been shipped. Waited considerably longer than it should have taken to receive it. Contacted company, got an auto-response promising quick action. Instead, no action and no contact. The only thing they really did right was issue a refund in a timely fashion after I gave up and requested a full refund. And, they issued the refund, but never contacted me. They just don't seem to care.
Update: item finally arrived. If I had thought it was good enough to keep, I would have volunteered to pay for it. I found it to be unsatisfactory, so I contacted Fine Art America and offered to return the item. No response.
Tip for consumers:
I will not be using this site for anything.
Caveat emptor.

None.

I had a great experience with FineArtAmerica. First the artist I was purchasing from generously customized a piece for me. Then, when I received the framed work (after only a few days), it arrived damaged, but FineArtAmerica's customer service promptly responded to my email and quickly sent out a new framed picture for me - I didn't even need to send the original back. I was very impressed with how they handled the whole situation. I would definitely buy from them again.

When I moved into my apartment, I was trying to create a unique them of everything great about my home state of Michigan. I found some Bob Seger cover art throw pillows at Fine Art America. Materials were very good quality and padding was comfortable. Purchase arrived in a timely fashion. Still thinking about Bob Seger Live Bullet shower curtain. I know where to find it!

My experience with FineArtAmerica was wonderful. The ability to play with the mat colors and sizes up front and see what you will be getting is such a great feature. My print arrived in a very reasonable amount of time, looking beautiful and ready to hang. I will absolutely order from this site again.

It's easy to keyword search FineArtAmerica for photos of particular places. That's what we did, and then had twenty different lovely prints to choose from by different artists. That was much better than framing one of our vacation photos! Everything about order and delivery went smoothly, and the prints look fantastic on our wall.

I discovered Austin John Jones' artwork through FineArtAmerica. The site allows me to pick the size and background color for virtually everything. I can take any of the art and have it printed on a variety of mediums, apparel, etc. It's a fun way to get more art out in the world. Austin is an artist on the autism spectrum and it's great to see what he is creating. I check back often to see his work and also scan a number of other artists' pieces as well. Love FineArtAmerica for opening my world and my eyes to so many wonderful artists.

FineArtAmerica is a marketplace that connects artists and art buyers. The site sells on behalf of artists: art prints, posters, and ceramics, among other art forms.
