Sellers beware. This service has really poor support for Sellers. First of all, they an unprecedented 20% of your sales, (including shipping costs if you sell tangible goods. So you have to charge more in shipping to recoup your costs) The customer support is non-existent. Most of the time they'll tell you it's not their problem. I actually had one customer support guy respond to the question in my help ticket with a "we'll see."
They'll screw you at of your money any way they can. Instead of letting you collect money directly through Paypal, like Etsy or Ebay, it goes through their system, and they hold on to your revenue for 3 weeks while it "clears." In this day and age of high technology, there's no real justification for this. What are they processing the transactions by hand? What this really allows them to do is keep your money for any reason they come up with.
The quality of most of the gigs are pretty low, and Fiverr seems to poor quality, blackhat SEO and backlink gigs in order to rake in more $. This is going to hurt them in the long run though.
Hi,
There is no arbitration team who sattle matter between buyers and sellers the world worst support team said to freelancer that you will not get paid because client did not want to release payment.
EXCUSE ME freelancer did what he hired for align with all terms and conditions also ready to pay to fiverr 20% of the payment from his hard earned money?
If freelancer waste their time and do work for that client and lastly client said that they have change their mood? Whats the mood freelancer dont know if they approve the work of freelancer and released 5 start reviews after that what $#*!ing they charge back? Whats the $#*! of chargeback? The deal was done from that point when client get everything what they need.
SO WHAT FIVERR SAYS DO WORK FOR LIFETIME FOR A BUYER WHO HIRES YOU AT ONLY 5$?
IS THAT NOT A $#*! PLATFORM? THEY DO NOT TOOK ANY SINGLE STEP AGAINST BUYER SUPPORT ONLY SUGGEST SOME NULL COMMENT AND ABLE TO REACH ANY SOLUTION.
Thank you so much for your contact,
Work with you soon in future. Amazing work... really appreciated... rating 5*. Highly recommended for. Got exactly work that I requested...
I tried to sign up for three different times, three different projects and none of them were completed. I wanted a scraper completed for a website and the vendor never did anything. I was forced to cancel the job. No, big deal, it was only 5 days wasted. So, I tried a different developer and the job was estimated at 7 days. On, day 7, the vendor said, the job is worth more then $5, so he declined the job and it was canceled. A waste of two weeks trying to get this job completed. I tried to hire a voice over professional and I listened to all the talent and the talent was not bad but the system would not process my credit card, or at least I thought. Apparently the system did take my money and return it there shortly after for some reason. I got a receipt saying I paid for it but I could not find my order. I emailed customer service and they told me they would look into it. Fast forward 7 days, I get an email, "Our system has marked this ticket as Solved automatically. Your comments have been noted in case you reopen this request again," wow, worst experience ever.
I order a logo and had some revisions and never received the fixed logo. There is no number or way to contact staff. I wish I had gone to 99 designs. You pay for what you get.
I DESPERATELY want to like FIVRR; theoretically, it would be a great way to try out graphic designers before you make a commitment on a bigger job.
First, I think it terrible that someone is forced to even think about making a product for the cost of latte in NY. Seller should open communication with buyers so that they can sell up. I gave very specific requests, neither of the 2 designers made the marks. Instead, they returned something they probably already had on-hand with the addition of a few revisions.
My sellers had great sense for the beginning of "customer service". One had fantastic counter-manner, however,
Seller #1: gave me a logo that "would be perfect for Affliction" (a feedback from a friend). He insisted that all logos would be done based only on his style. The sample logos were a lot more elegant; mine looked like a logo for a B-rated version of the Hunger Game.
Seller #2: I wanted a seal from this seller and had created the whole seal so that this seller didnt have to "think" too hard. He was easy-going, really courteous, but the seal came back nothing like I sent him. Our motto was incorrectly quoted, contained grammar errors, and our logo (within the seal he created) was replaced with something that looks like "double happiness".
I had been working deligently on my SEO work for my website myself and was doing pretty well. Then everything went sideways when I tried several "SEO" people on fiverr. I mean my rankings actually went DOWN! They did black hat SEO and could have gotten my website delisted off of Google! Complete waste of money. I also tried them for a logo and as it tuned out, the same logo had already been used by another company when I searched the trademark database. Fiverr is full of the lowest quality workers that have no real skills except for that they give themselves a title. It's full of beginners with no education nor qualifications. Fiverr accepts everyone and at any age and they don't care if someone is qualified or not. They don't check anything; anyone can give her or himself a title of whatever they want. The only thing Fiverr cares about is making money off of a bunch of stupid people, buyers and sellers, lured by super cheap prices. Sorry! But yes, I was one of the stupid buyers, many times over and each time I got crap. Yes, like you, I was lured by super cheap prices; but then I ended up being the real loser because I got nothing of value in return. It's like throwing money out the window and watching it float around and fly away. It's complete bologna. Complete waste of time and money.
Fiverr is low-no quality work.
(I uploaded one of my receipts to prove that this is a real review).
Dont do business on fiverr. The company is a scam and sellers deliver gigs of incompleted work. When you complain, fiverr cancels your account and keeps your money.
I have not ordered anything and they took $ 10 out of my account how did they get to my account number? How google and microsoft allow this crooks to stay on the internet?
I'm a seller on fiverr and I have had shockingly bad support from admin. They support the buyers and don't support me, DESPITE the fact that they can read the conversations between the client and myself and they can see when clients leave dishonest feedback.
Plus, if you edit your gig, if someone in the office doesn't view your edits and release your gig, it won't show in the searches until you tell them to release it. This has happened to me so many times I can't count.
It seems that if you criticise admin, they do nasty things to stop you from earning money through fiverr. The admin are young upstarts who couldn't provide customer service if their life depended on it. Fiverr admin sucks.
When I became disillusioned with Fiverr, I searched for another similar site and found Fivesquid. What a complete and total difference. I get treated with respect and appreciation over there. No problems at all. Plus the British Pound is worth quite alot more than the US dollar, so I get to keep more of what I've earned.
Ditch Fiverr and use Fivesquid instead.
Can't expect long term work here, fiverr can finish your 6 years hard work anytime, so better to work on anywhere else then here if you are looking long term future..
I tried ordering a logo for $5.00. I placed the order, then it asked me to create an account. During that process, it froze up. My credit card was charged through PayPal for $5.50 (why is there a $. 50 fee if they keep $1.00 of each order?), but no way to get back in to the order. I was able to get signed in sometimes, but no orders pending. I wrote emails for help, and they told me they needed my transaction number. I didn't have one, because they didn't show my order anywhere. Back and forth emails asking me to sign in, me telling them there was no order, finally they told me to contact PayPal for a transaction number. Got that, they emailed me again to sign in and complete my order. I tried in IE and got locked up when I entered my username and password. (It just kept loading and loading and loading.) So I went into Chrome, got into signon screen, but the field for User name would not open up so I could type in it.
They said they will refund my charge if I can't get in... I'm waiting to see if that happens. It's been almost two weeks! So I never even got my order completely placed, but I've spent hours trying to get in and finish my request. So who knows how it would have worked out, since it's impossible to log in.

Excellent experience working with Fiverr. At the beginning the website was a bit buggy and crashed while loading. They have fixed it now and it works now.
I am a freelancer so tried to join i…
I am a freelancer so tried to join i made several drafts then they decided to accuse me of fraud and plagiarism for MY OWN WORK also claimed i was unqualified despite my history of work, my degree and that my work wasnt up to their standards despite having work listed in the same category that looks like it was made by a 4 year old. It randomly targets people for harassment and they refuse to correct their mistakes they never provided any proof of their claims i intend to pursue legal action
Fiverr is good only for loosing time and money, it's a place for scammers. DON'T USE IT! No refund policy, even if you don't obtain what you have bought, they won't give you the money back!
Horrible place. It charges money and gives nothing back and it's not improving. If I complete a $10 job it takes $2 from it and also I have to wait 14 days to redeem my money.
Fiverr is a total SCAM! DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR MONEY!
I paid a very high amount for a professional design. What I got back was beginner, basic design. I paid over $50 an hour for this work. I complained and tried to get a refund -- NO HELP AT ALL FROM SITE MANAGERS!
COMPLETE SCAM! They actually tried to get me to send more money to the designer - in hopes that he would refund part of my original fee. TOTAL SCAM!
I wanted a simple 1 page PowerPoint timeline. What I got back was not a timeline - not designed at all. Any beginer user (meaning an elementary school user) could have produced this design. I tried to get the designer to change. I sent samples of what I wanted. He then took his inital 2 page design (I requested one) and condensed it to one page and said he was done!
TOTAL SCAM!
Fiverr will banned your account without any warning before they banned it,
The worst is that you will not able to get your fund instantly it was banned until 45 days or your fund is gone forever.
They will take your money and run. Customer service is only geared to helping the sellers and therefor protecting the earnings of the seller and fiverr.
Answer: I used Fiverr for my company logo. The guy lives in Vietnam and speak minimal English. I paid for an upgraded package with an unlimited amount of revisions, 3 original logos, stationary and Facebook as well as Twitter page covers. What does unlimited mean if a revision takes 24 hours and each revision is correcting spelling mistakes or telling him you don't want a green dog in your logo, I want a natural looking dog. His response is "you choose font and gives you a pale old lady stockings colour dog" instead of a white Dalmatian with black dots or a brown German Shepard. In the end I used an online translator to translate my requests from English to Vietnamese. He told me to sketch something and he'd make something. If I could sketch something then I would do my own logo. The one logo that I liked was the one I gave him all my ideas for. All he did was put it together in the right format. I was so frustrated with his other two attempts that I said ok give me the first logo with stationary and everything I've paid for. I got the most basic design, no stationary or headers. Did I go through customer service? OF COURSE! Throughout this whole ordeal. I described every little detail. Each time a different person would reply and say "I can understand your frustration and I will contact him". Only to have him return with the same dog in orange or turquoise and every time customer service would spit out the same line "I can understand your frustration and I will contact him. We see he is responding to you within 24 hours so for us that means you are trying to work things out. I want my money back! Sorry we can't give you your money back. The seller has received his money and its up to him to give you any money back if he so chooses. It was a dreadful experience. I ended up using an online logo maker and I loved it. PLUS it actually cost less. I'm now doing my own website. If you have the patience then try to do it yourself. Do NOT skimp on your website. The way the world is run today you want your website and all social media presence to correctly reflect your quality. If at the end I'm not happy with my website I will go to a professional and pay what it costs. Hope this helped and good luck
Answer: I know I have to wade through a lot of questionable sellers to get a good one. Happy hunting. There are good ones out there though.
Answer: All I can say id Fiverr is the BIGGEST SCAM going. Had to dispute the charges through my bank to get the money back
Answer: Stay far away from fiverr. I paid a guy to do some work and proved with third party techniques they used bots for fake views to my site. Yet this guy had many many great reviews. You cannot trust this site whatsoever. Stick with paypal as you most likely will get nowhere with fiverr.
Answer: If you want a site designed to steal credit card data from hard-working, civilized people, please use Fiverr. It is designed for one thing: to take your credit card data and leave you to deal with a mess. More details, reply or search for my previous posts.
Answer: I can only imagine you got swindled and feel bad about the fact you trusted someone. Don't feel bad, you did nothing wrong. There are sites who take the time to vet their sellers and then there are sites like Fiverr who let's anyone to join with zero check on their credentials. The entry into selling on Fiverr is so easy that it borders on ridiculousness. Anyone can lie about their location, experience, education, and just about any credentials. Some of them are really clever and mask their fake profile pictures and gig descriptions really well. Fiverr is so secretive about their vetting process, which I seriously doubt there is anything in writing, that you can't trust it. The seller's level is a joke - I've gotten cheated by ones with thousands of reviews. How they received literally a thousand or more review is mind boggling. Go back and check again, you'll notice like 99.9% of the million or so sellers all have 5 star reviews. All legitimate businesses have a combination of good and bad reviews, most average around 3/5 or if they are a really great business 4/5 but for a large company with like a million or so freelancers with zero credentials having 5/5 pretty much tells you there is something wrong. Like I said, you did nothing wrong. I hope you didn't lose too much money. Their philosophy is "We don't care how crappy the delivery was as long as the seller delivered you don't get your money back."
Answer: The answer is plain simple NO! You will get your followers, yes! But they are all bots, so you will lose 90% of the followers the same week, might as well throw this 5 bucks in the air.
Answer: There is very little in the world that is unique. You have to trust or spend a lot more $$$ or do it yourself
Answer: I would suggest having nothing whatsoever to do with Fiverr. When things go wrong - and that happens a LOT - there is no customer support line to call. They make it very difficult (in my own case, impossible) to resolve any problems. Read the evaluation reviews- they are extremely negative. My advice: find another site on which to offer your services. DG
Answer: I've had 28 orders and all but two were very satisfactory. Most were PDFform building or business card templates, but I had s few design logos for me then used the one I liked. Buyers: it's cheap. Remember that. When the service is good I tip generously then use the same person. I get great service, often in one day. When I order, I add express service and have yet to be disappointed. It's a business model without customer service. Face it. If you want customer service, go to Nordstroms or Nieman Marcus. Do a better job selecting your service provider; be clear in the order, and overpay.
The company has garnered a mixed reputation, with some customers appreciating the affordability and variety of services available, as well as the potential for building long-term relationships with freelancers. However, significant concerns dominate the feedback, particularly regarding delayed payments, unresponsive customer support, and a perceived lack of accountability for both sellers and buyers. Many users express frustration over unresolved disputes and the platform's failure to ensure transparency and quality among its freelancers. This highlights a critical need for improved customer service and stricter oversight to enhance user trust and satisfaction.
