I think Gazelle provided quick service and a fair price for my devices. I would use them again. It was easy to use the prepaid mailing containers which were sent ahead of time. Upon inspection of one device they even upped their offer and paid me more! Extreme honesty.
Stay away from gazelle my phone was flawless they told me it wasn't. I asked for my phone back and they deliberately put scratches on it I use a screen protector and spend a lot of money to keep my phone safe. I am so disgusted and aggravated that people could actually do this they ruined my phone now I can't get the full amount I should be getting from another site.
I am puzzled about how some reviews are so favorable and others so bad. My experience
Was in the horrible category. I sent in 4 devises in near perfect condition and they lowered the offer by a total of $165. I rejected the offer and requested they be returned in the Apple boxes they were sent in, but they responded that was not possible.
I will never consider using this service again!
I sent two phones in. Was told they were in great shape. Was told our payments would process. Over a week later, no payments. I've emailed. No response. I now don't have my phones and was never paid. I will never use this "service" again and have been telling anyone interested about this circumstance. Horrible.
Ive recommended Gazelle to friends for a way to get $& for used phones & tablets. Ive used you several times and always happy. This time I made a mistake & listed my tablet twice & it showed I was going to get twice the value. A quick email to your customer support & they corrected my error. Thanks a lot.
Everything went as expected with this transaction of trading in my old laptop. The only issue I had was not receiving the return box in a timely manner. But when I contacted them about the problem, the box showed up the very next day--and that was a Sunday. After that, everything went as they described.
I purchased an iphone from gazelle and after the 7 business days waiting for delivery was told the phone was not in stock. I was offered a second phone that was suppose to be in stock and ready to be delivered only to find out after 14 business days, without notice. That this phone was also not in stock after they assured me on the phone that it was! After a three and a half week odyssey they told me that the company did not have any phones to meet my order and would not upgrade me to another phone that they had in stock and would have to cancel my order. Gazelle is a terrible company that will not go the extra mile to please a customer even though it is their FAULT for promising phones that they don't have. Everyone who decides to purchase from them be aware that just because you find the phone on their site, confirm and pay for it, doesn't mean you will get it and more than likely will get the run around.
They received my ipad air. They state that payment is issued same day or next day but its been a week and no payment. Their customer service gives canned responses and seems genuinely like they can care less about them holding our money. They said they are extra busy and this is why they are holding our money longer than usual. Really? A hold? Maybe they should say that they are delayed due to large volume but a hold just sounds bad. Really, it should take no time at all to issue a payment. Really beginning to think this is a scam and way to generate extra revenue by holding our payments. I have dealt with elegreen in the past and the payment was lightning quick...
Gazelle is a unique online service that provides an environmentally responsible alternative for extending the life for numerous used technology devices. I have used the services of Gazelle for trading in my used devices and further I receive very fair remuneration every time.
After purchasing an iPhone X for $960, I had to keep calling them to follow up on my order and to get updates on my shipping (paid expedited shopping). Few days later I received the phone. Tried activating the phone and turned out to be a stolen phone! It was such a hassle having to deal with no phone since I tried to activate my line with the iPhone X, Verizon suspended my account for a stolen phone. Had to go to Verizon and had them reactive my old phone and give me a new sim. I will never deal with gazelle again. I just hope they'd refund right away!
I wanted to sell my Iphone 13 Pro to them. They offered me $704. I shipped it to them... they claim they received an EMPTY box. This means: 1) UPS stole it, 2) Gizmogo stole it.
Here's the best part: They only insure packages up to $100... regardless of the value of the phone. I was told I would only be paid $100 for a phone they promised to pay $704.
Absolute criminal frauds.
I sent two devices in. The acknowledged and paid for one. Not a peep about the other. Contacted them via the web site. The said we'll get back to you in 24 hrs. Never heard back from them.
NEVER AGAIN
I received a quote of $305 in December 2018 for a Pixel 2 XL 128gb in great condition. Once they received my device AND the original charger, they tried to say that my device was not as described and tried to low-ball me only $185. Falsely rated condition by this awful company, I refused the offer and requested that they send my device back. They sent back my device but kept my Pixel charger and cable. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this crooked company Gazelle!
Good experience will use Gazelle again. The instructions were clear and easy to understand. Getting a quote was quick and easy. Paid postage is great. A quick response to my question. I got my check in a week has promised
I was promised $150 for my iPhone. After I sent in my phone, Gazelle notified me that my offer was updated to $50 (yes, $100 less than originally promised) because 1) my phone was not unlocked and 2) it had too many scratches. Both of these are false. My phone was indeed unlocked, and it had basically no scratches. I asked them to explain why they lied to me. They gave no explanation but still immediately updated my offer to $110, still $40 less but with the same two reasons. So now my phone is worth $110 instead of $50 even though the reasons for why it's not worth the original $150 is the same? What is wrong with them? Only when this happened did I search up reviews for Gazelle and realize that the same thing has happened to way too many people. I wish I had known that before, otherwise I would've never gone through with the hassle of interacting with Gazelle.
I received an offer to sell a brand new, unopened Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra 256 (Unlocked). When I sent the phone to the company, they sent me a note with a reduce offer stating my phone is other and not unlocked. The offer was reduced to half as well. I declined the offer and they returned my device removed from the box without the box and accessories the phone came with. I called the company and they refused to return. This company is a scam, and taking advantage of people. They give you a high offer to get you to send them your device, then they make up reasons to reduce the price, hoping you are desperate and will agree so they can increase their profit.
Tip for consumers:
They don't return accessories and they don't honor agreed amount of offer.

So many negative reviews, and I don't know why. My transaction with Gazelle was seamless -- they gave me the price I wanted, sent me the box and paid me the money. You need to give a fair assessment of your technology people, and you will get the money you deserve.
I've been waiting more than I should to receive my MacBook. I ordered a MacBook and added the overnight shipping which is $25.99 extra. Still haven't received a tracking number, just receipt. Haven't gotten any update since then. Customer Service is trash and it isn't a 24 hour customer service line.
I got payment on time and fast. I will always look for doing business with Gazelle. I sold my old phone and my daughter's cracked phone and Gazelle offered a very reasonable prize for them and I took the offer because really it sound too good to be true. I love gazelle.
Received phone but was for a different carrier. Notified them and received return info and sent back. They say they got it but they don't know where my refund is. Paid with paypal and can't get my money back $360 So watch out for Gazelle it will run off with your money.
Tip for consumers:
pay with credit card only
I received an initial offer for my old iPhone that was higher than what Apple was offering. The entire process was easy and quick. And once Gazelle received the phone, they increased their offer because the phone was in better condition than expected. I really appreciated that honesty. Would definitely sell to Gazelle again.
Bought a Samsung 4 had it less than a month phone kept going off. Found out WRONG battery,, has a gap that allows battery to move and disconnect. Gazelle doesn't DO battery issues just a refund AFTER you send phone in. So you lose all your contact info and the inconvenience of being without a phone for several days... Yeah Gazelle Blows
The craze of new technology is causing a huge build up of waste, but how do you keep up with the current needs of the world without feeling guilty about buying new products? You use Gazelle. Instead of putting your old phones/ipads/computers in a box in the garage, you can get on Gazelle's website and with a few easy steps send in your equipment and get money. The value that Gazelle offers is enough to keep me using the site.
Trading in my old iPhones and a MacBook Pro was so easy. The whole process went exactly as stated on the website, with clear instructions, great communication throughout, and quick cash back. I wish Id known about Gazelle a long time ago.
This is my second time working with gazelle after selling 4 devices to them and the money is great and comes quickly after they receive the devices. However, Im still waiting for my second check which I have waited a week for and still have not received. Its a hefty check so Im worried about it.
I ordered a Galaxy s7 and when I tried to activate it I found out it was on the non pay list and could not be activated. I returned it and got another same thing. I was dumb enough to try a third and same thing could not be activated because it was on the non pay list. I wasted a countless number of hours on the phone with both Verizon and gazelle and still no working phone. So unless your looking to sell a phone that you didn't pay for you would stay away from this website.
Tip for consumers:
sell don't buy
I sent my iPhone 6 Plus which was on my Verizon account (and I have only ever had Verizon as my carrier) and he phone had been in a case and was flawless. No scratches, no damage and in fantastic condition. Gazelle quoted me $180 so I sent it in. They then contact me back with an email of generic reasons (generic scratches, damage, etc) why they "adjusted" my quoted price down to $130 and they specifically indicated that the phone was an AT&T phone which justified the negative adjustment and certainly baffled me. I sent in questions about my adjusted quote and received no response. I will never waste my time using Gazelle again.
