I think Gazelle provided quick service and a fair price for my devices. I would use them again. It was easy to use the prepaid mailing containers which were sent ahead of time. Upon inspection of one device they even upped their offer and paid me more! Extreme honesty.
Stay away from gazelle my phone was flawless they told me it wasn't. I asked for my phone back and they deliberately put scratches on it I use a screen protector and spend a lot of money to keep my phone safe. I am so disgusted and aggravated that people could actually do this they ruined my phone now I can't get the full amount I should be getting from another site.
They were very clear about everything: what to expect, what to do, and how to do it. The shipping box arrived immediately, I packed my phone in it, shipped it off, and within just a few days had my payment. It was speedy and convenient.
This is the second time I sell a phone to Gazelle. Each time, they paid what was represented on the sales page. And I received the gift card within a couple of days or three or so. So I think the purchasing service is great.
One excuse after another for not paying for my used iPhone7.1st: they needed to supply IMEi number so deactivate the ESN (so far, ok. Next: they claim the phone has an outstanding balance and want me to provide PROOF it is paid off. (phone was paid off two year ago). Finally: they say the phone has many scratches (there were none on this phone when sent!). They are obviously making up obstacles. I have requested they return my phone to me -- I hope they actually send MY phone. This company has some fraudulent practices. To contact by phone (which they request) require about an hour of wait time on hold.
I cannot believe this is even happening. I submitted my IPad Air 128 space gray flawless condition to receive a price of 240. They received this exact iPad and lowered my offer to 130 as they claim they got a 16g WiFi only. I gave pictures and emailed them to the powers that be hoping for an honest re-evaluation of the correct iPad. Somebody in shopping did a switcheroo. I am needless to say pissed beyond belief. PS who even buys a 16g for $#*!s sake;
The shipping was super fast. I ordered an iPhone 5c on Friday and received it three days later on Monday. I picked "fair" for condition expecting the worst but when it arrived it was in great condition. Would buy from them again and especially would recommend to a friend.
I have turned in a few phones and I love how easy they make it to ship the phones. The check comes a few weeks after. Great way to recycle your old phones rather than have them lying around the house collecting dust. Love the prepaid box they send!
So I bought an iPhone 6 16 GB and the home button wouldn't allow finger prints and a month and a half later gazelle forgot screws and the ltc broke and wouldn't turn on. 180 bucks later it's the condition it should've came in when already paying over 400 bucks for the stupid phone.
They promised $63 for my I-Phone the changed their minds and said $9 because it was scratched, A NEW PHONE? I took a video before sending it for this reason, these people are liars thinking we are fools... stay away!
This is my third experience with purchasing and/or selling on Gazelle.com and it was again an excellent, trouble-free experience. Highly recommend them for selling your old equipment as well as buying their high quality refurbished offerings. Have purchased iPhones and iPads and all were exactly as described ordered. Looking forward to my next sale/purchase with Gazelle.com!
All I can say is take multiple photo's of your phone before you send it to them. I sent mine and they dinged me 20% for "scratches". If there were scratches on my phone they were microscopic. It was ALWAYS cased. But I had no proof.
Take pics of yours before you send!
Rip-off
I have sold back an old iPhone and a very old MacBook to Gazelle and with both pieces of equipment, not only did I get paid promptly but got paid more for my iphone than originally estimated. The packaging they send is top notch and easy to use, great communications and immediate payment as soon as they receive the item.
Ive used Gazelle a few times before and once again they didnt disappoint! Once I shipped off my device I received notifications when it arrived, when they checked everything out, results of the check and that my payment was on its way. I received my check earlier than expected which is always nice to see! Ill continue to use Gazelle in the future as long as theyll keep purchasing my old tech!
This is the second time I have sold a device to Gazelle. Not only did I receive a great quote, but upon receiving my devices my payment doubled and was received immediately. I will continue to sell my old devices to Gazelle.
We were leaving town and needed a replacement phone for my wife. I spoke with a representative to assured me if I paid the additional charge for overnight delivery i would receive the phone the following day.
WRONG and not only that it didn't even come the 2nd day after my purchase as my neighbor, who picked it up off my doorstep, informed me.
THEN Gazelle would not agree to take the phone back for not honoring our agreement.
This was just a comedy of errors by Gazelle with virtually no effort to honor their word.
They stole my phone basically. I had an iPhone 8 Plus and sent it in to sell. It had never been out of the case since originally purchasing it. They had quoted $220 for it. When they received they changed the quote to $88 saying there were scratches on the phone and that the phone was actually not an iphone 8 plus. I asked for it back and they shipped a phone that was not mine back. I had taken photos before I shipped it in and the phone given was not the same. So... essentially they just stole my nice perfect phone and gave me something else back.
Used Gazelle for years but last experience was a scam: They made a high offer $100+ for a used iPad then reduced that to less than $10 claiming the iPad was scratched. It was the n exceptional condition. This company is a cheap scam
Tip for consumers:
Avoid this scam
I have a ipad air 3rd Gen Wi-Fi 64gb. They quoted me $187 then said after inspection there is scratches & dropped it to $63! I was like oh hell no & now I am worried for damage they did to my ipad! I took pictures before sending & have proof of condition So at this point making them send it back immediately & looking like I may have to sue them for damages to my Item that was in like new condition. I am beyond devastated, as I have been sick in bed for 2 week & no work Planning to cover my Phone & car insurance with the funds to now deal with this! Been in tears all day from the panic.

This is the greatest scam on the internet to date. I sent my phone in in perfect, yes perfect condition. No scratches, no water marks no problems. Its been a month and I have yet to receive any payment or confirmation of payment being sent. I am extremely disappointed especially since I usually sell my things in person on craigslist but decided to use this service. They promise to send you a payment within 3-5 days and and that is clearly not the deal here. I've emailed, called, tried to live chat and the button on the website is dud, doesn't go anywhere. It does not lead to a link. Unbelievable. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME USING THIS SERVICE.
Do not sell to them! I've sold two things to them and both times they tell me there is significant damage or scratches and there were none when I shipped it to them. Then they offer you half as much as your quote or they will return it to you.
I sent in a flawless iPad with offer amount of $107. It had never been out of its case prior and I thoroughly inspected it before sending it in. They responded with a reduced offer of $20 due to scratches which I declined. When I received the iPad back there was a large scratch on the back that clearly wasn't there when I sent it in. I believe this was done intentionally after I declined the low-ball offer.
I paid the extra for insurance and now the insurance company will not replace the phone but will refund my money for a $50 deductible. Gazelle set these terms with the insurance company to not ever replace the phone but always provide a refund. An obvious SCAM! Now I have paid for insurance, another $50 and have no working phone. Which requires even more time and money to do. I Will never be buying from scandalous companies like Gazelle.com again.
I really enjoyed my experience. They made it very easy to understand and I received my money very quickly. I originally used them for my phone, but then realized how easy it was and submitted an old iPad, too!
Gazelle makes the entire process easy and simple. I was able to bring my Mac to a FedEx shipping store and paid for the box and packing. And within a week I had my payment from Gazelle in my PayPal account. Easy simple and convenient. Turned my old computer into usable cash.
Gazelle sold me a phone that was frozen by my carrier because of the preveous owner not making the payments. Gazelle after many calls and a lot of time refused to take the phone back. Terible customer service, I have been buying from them for years but they seems to now be running a very sloppy business and will never shop from them. They seem to not check out the phone at all.
