I think Gazelle provided quick service and a fair price for my devices. I would use them again. It was easy to use the prepaid mailing containers which were sent ahead of time. Upon inspection of one device they even upped their offer and paid me more! Extreme honesty.
Stay away from gazelle my phone was flawless they told me it wasn't. I asked for my phone back and they deliberately put scratches on it I use a screen protector and spend a lot of money to keep my phone safe. I am so disgusted and aggravated that people could actually do this they ruined my phone now I can't get the full amount I should be getting from another site.
Quoted me $85 for 16gb iphone 4, adjusted offer to $35. Said I had a different model than I said on the quote, but the when I looked, it was right model. It even had the quoted model and "actual" model right next to each other & they were the same. The are incompetent & I rejected their shamefully lower offer. Cut out the middle man & sell it yourself, or prepare to be disappointed by their adjusted offer. Wish I could give 0 stars.
Sent a perfect Iphone 6 to them. The offer was $118.00. They emailed and said that it would not power up and lowered the offer to $30.00. Called them and said to send it back. They then said it powered up but had blemishes and kept offer at $30.00. I sent them pics I took of phone showing no blemishes and they then said it was locked. I proved to them that it was not and then they said that they had emailed me and since I didn't respond they now owned the phone for FREE! I have all emails and suing them.
I bought a phone that came to me with a scratch on the screen and it had electronic problems in less than a weeks time. When I called the company they wouldn't take the phone back, they said I must have done it because they check out every phone. Next, I originally bought the extended care for the phone. They told me the scratch and electronic issues would have to be ran through the life program, less than one month later. I had to email the company for life program, because no one would help me over the phone. It took the company three days to call me back and then they just left a message with nothing to help me. I've had nothing but electronic problems with my iPhone 11 Pro Max since the day I bought it and it was scratched. I will never buy another phone from these people again!
This was my second time to deal with Gazelle and they were just as great this time as they were the first time! It is so easy to go to Gazelle.com and let them know what device you have to sell. They handle everything for you!
Found the phone on Gazelle's identifier, rated the condition of the phone, agreed to terms, waited for the postage-paid box to ship the phone in to arrive in my mailbox, packaged phone, put package in the mailbox, waited a few days for Gazelle to receive it, payment sent the SAME day it was received. Turn around time approximately one week. Repeat customer.
I've dealt with Gazelle several times and my experience with them have always been an easy process. From checking on their website to shipping my product to them to receiving payment from them has always been seamless.
I sold my second iPhone through Gazelle and the process was easy and seamless. I wasn't sure how to rate this one, used looking or like new. I took a chance and rated it like new... because it really was. They accepted it and paid me promptly. Very happy.
After I looked at the price on the internet, I agreed and sent in my phone. When they got it, they said it was in better condition than I thought. So, they voluntarily increased what they gave me. Very honorable on their part. I will certainly us Gazelle again.
I bought an iPhone5 about 8 months ago. The battery was failing, so I ordered a new one. Following the instructions in the battery kit and an online video, I pried off the screen. Access to the battery was completely different than it should have been. So what did I actually buy from Gazelle? I have no idea.
Send perfect iphone6s; once they got the phone they devalued it by over half of their offer. They said "more than the acceptable amount of scratches". There isn't a single scratch on the phone. WASTE OF TIME. I did not accept it and they will send back. Better not have a mark on it. Took photos of the phone prior to sending for my protection.
I am thrilled with Gazelle and glad I did business with them. I was honest about the condition of my phone and iPad. I received my offers and when Gazelle received my phone they gave me more than the offer. Responses were very quick and money was received promptly! Love Gazelle!
I sold my device, a Samsung S23 to Gazelle. After shipping my device back, they told me incorrectly that my device was a S23+ and had scratches and lowered my offer. I know for a fact that it was an S23 (I know what I've been carrying around) so believe they must have mixed my device up with another one. I also know that what I sent in didn't have a single scratch. I accepted the offer anyway as to not have to deal with them any more (I figured if I asked for my device back, they would just send me the wrong device). I did call customer service to point out this isue and they were fairly indifferent about it.
Sent two phones in mint condition, they lowered the offers because of "damage" then tried sending me a picture of a damaged phone that wasn't even the model I sent them. Both phones were mint condition and packaged in bubble wrap. The fight has just begun!
I received exactly what I expected from Gazelle. I rated my iPhone6 honestly, and they agreed with my assessment. I received my money promptly and without hassle. I would recommend them to anyone. Gazelle gives you more money for your iPhone than Amazon or Apple, and it's service is just as easy (easier, in the case of Apple).
I agree with the other reviews on this site, gazelle is terrible. I have attempted to purchase 3 phones from them. The first one was an iphone 4 and it worked fine. The next was an iphone 5S and within one week of purchase it started having significant issues and I returned it (minus shipping on the original iphone and a 15 dollar restocking fee). The third phone was an iphone 6S that verizon told me was reported stolen immediately after I started using it. Gazelle charges prices that are much higher then ebay and craigslist and are so close to the price of a new phone, that it is not worth ever buying from this site. They do very poor quality control and you have a short window to return a defective phone. I gave up on buying used phones and just bought a new phone, but if I was still going the used route I would opt for ebay etc because there is absolutely no quality control that justifies the high prices gazelle charges.
I was told that there was some discoloration to my ipads and they were not as described? That is a big lie. And I just used these ipads last weekend and they work great! They are out of their minds. Now I see why my organization does not use Gazelle any longer to see back our ipads...
I was selling an iphone 5s in excellent condition. I
Completed the application down to my address and submitted it, only to be told my address was invalid. I have lived at this address for 38 years. How the hell is it invalid. I had sold a phone to these people just two months with this address.
I have used Gazelle multiple times in the past to sell back phones and have always been satisfied. However, this last experience has been horrendous. I sold back an iPhone 7 AT&T 32GB for an offer of $72 dollars. A few weeks later I see they sent me $9 dollars. Upon inquiring why the payout was so low, they indicated I sent in a different device and it was not in good cosmetic condition. Both of which are incorrect.
1. I sent in an iPhone 7 AT&T 32GB. They said I sent in an iPhone 7 AT&T 128 GB.
2. Gazelle indicated the phone was cosmetically not in good shape, which is false as the phone spent its life in an Otterbox.
Hence, I believe they mixed my phone up with another or are intentionally being shady. I contacted customer service again and they said they were going to go pull and re-verify the device sent in. Not surprisingly, they have not reached out to me at all.
I would avoid Gazelle at all costs and will not use them again.

I've sold two iPhones to Gazelle in past years with no issues.
This time, I sent back my iPhone 5 in damn near perfect condition (not a mark on the thing). They just adjusted the offer down by $105 because the screen was cracked. It wasn't cracked when I packed it in THEIR packaging, exactly as THEY instructed me to do. So either their packaging is substandard, or someone on their end cracked my phone, but either way I'm out $105. I'll never use this service again.
I sold my iphone 5s to Gazelle and I requested my payment be sent over through a check. I preferred this method of payment because I do not have a paypal account since my original accoutn was hacked in the past, so I did not want to open up a paypal account just for this transaction. Unfortunately, after I received an email explaining that my check was being sent over it never came. I waited about 2 weeks before contacting their customer service to let them know about the situation. They eventually contacted me but their service was not helpful. I eventually caved into making another paypal account but it took the company another month or so before actually sending over the payment. I've sold other items to gazelle in the past but this experience has made me hesitant to sell with them again. I give them 2 stars for their attempt at customer service, but overall it was minimal and mediocre.
I was quoted $85 for my iPhone 5 which was FLAWLESS and in perfect operating condition. Within days of mailing it to Gazelle I received an e-mail telling me it was only worth $65 because of "Undisclosed wear and scratches." I took macro photographic pictures of the front, back and all sides of the phone to document the fact it was in perfect, like new condition before I mailed it. Many other posts on other sites reference this same bait and switch scam and rip off by Gazelle. Beware, if you mail a cell phone to Gazelle, don't expect to receive the money they quoted you.
Sent in an Iphone7 with minimal scratches for an initial offer of $70. They claimed that the damage was excessive and offered a price equal to their "broken & does not turn on" grading of $10. They try to get users to send in their phones and low ball them. I am currently waiting for the return of my phone. I am glad i took photos and video of my phone before I mailed it to them.
I sent in 3 mini iPads. 1 had a cracked screen and 2 were in perfect condition. I was quoted $10 for the cracked iPad and $50 each for the new ones. All three are engraved on the back. Gazelle only allowed me to decline two of the offers the third offer I was told I did not respond quick enough. The email states I have 5 days yet I wasn't quick enough to open the third email. I have called, computer chatted and emailed requesting all three be returned to me. I have been denied. Very poor customer service in which they are not solution oriented. Very argumentative and child like.
This is the second time I've sold a Macbook computer to Gazelle. The first time, they increased the dollar amount paid because they felt the computer's condition was better than I'd described. This time they agreed that the computer was in excellent condition and paid me top dollar for it. I am very impressed with the timeliness of their operation. The shipping box arrived in just a few days after my order. But, what really impressed me, was that they received my computer on a Saturday and processed the order that day. I received three emails that day... first that they'd received my computer, second that the condition checked out just as I'd described it, and third, that a check was in the mail. I received the check by US mail on Wednesday and couldn't be happier. To be honest, I checked out the competition at Apple and Best Buy beforehand; but found Gazelle's offer to be competitive and appreciate receiving cash rather than a gift card only usable at a retail store.
