I think Gazelle provided quick service and a fair price for my devices. I would use them again. It was easy to use the prepaid mailing containers which were sent ahead of time. Upon inspection of one device they even upped their offer and paid me more! Extreme honesty.
Stay away from gazelle my phone was flawless they told me it wasn't. I asked for my phone back and they deliberately put scratches on it I use a screen protector and spend a lot of money to keep my phone safe. I am so disgusted and aggravated that people could actually do this they ruined my phone now I can't get the full amount I should be getting from another site.
I used Gazelle a few times before. It's been a couple years though. It was always so easy and fast. I loved them and would recommend them to everyone. Not anymore. I recently sent in an old laptop that stated it would be $79 for it. The laptop had a couple minor scuffs on the outside but worked perfectly. I cleaned it out, set it back to factory settings and sent it in. I got a "revised offer" that said I would get $0 for it because it was an "unsupported model" I emailed asking what model it was and was told they weren't sure but that I could request a re-inspection. I requested one and asked if they could let me know what exact model they think it is. Got no response till I followed up and was told again it was just an "unsupported model". No answers at all. If they are going to deny giving me what was promised, they should give more of an explanation than that. I will never use this site again.
I've had family members who had great experiences, but not me. I sent in my 2011 MacBook laptop in mid-June, hoping I would get my promised Amazon Gift card in time for Amazon Prime days in July. My emails were not returned from customer care. My only way to get any response was to call 1-800-GAZELLE and the information under my case number was never up to date. It's my bad that I locked my laptop, but I provided the code multiple times and was still receiving nastygrams from Gazelle threatening to rate my laptop as poor if I did not respond... despite the fact that my responses were immediate. I am not using them again. Communication is terrible.
I was sent the incorrect iPad from the one I ordered and instead of sending me the one I ordered, I have to ship it back and wait to buy another one? Also, with modern inventory systems, how was the incorrect iPad even sent?
Every step of my Gazelle experience was very nice and smooth. Even though I sent them an Iphone which I assumed was an 5, they emailed me stating that it is not an Iphone 5 but an Iphone 5s and instead of $30 they would pay me $50. I trust this company and I am recommending them to my family and friends.
Purchased an iPhone 5c, which stopped working 31 days after the company delivered the device. I was told too bad, I was outside the 30 day window. I actually wasn't outside the 30 day window based on delivery date. This site might be good if you are a seller, but it's horrible if you are a buyer as it does not appear that they even check the devices for working condition.
I sent my Iphone5 to them in the original box and with all the accessories, I then declined their revised offer and requested they return it. They did... my bare phone in bubble wrap! No box, no accessories, no nothing! I am livid!
I ordered 2 phones, only one was shipped. I called right away and I was told that they would overnight deliver the 2nd phone. 2 weeks later I still do not have my phone and when I call I am told that they are still checking with the warehouse. And of course they have my money too!
The process was really easy. They made me an offer, sent me shipping boxes, I sent it in and once they recieved it I was sent amazon gift cards. It was as easy as that.
I read some of the bad reviews... they have to do with newer iphones, etc. I had nothing to loose sending my old devices in so maybe that's the way to go with this site. Only send them in older products?
But all in all, I had a great, smooth experience.
Sent 2 phones in (in Like New Condition), they received them on January 31 (per FedEx tracking info), website states they still haven't received them. I get no response from e-mails, voicemail and chat keeps telling me tomorrow (they are behind... same excuse the last 3 days in a row)! Who can I contact besides the BBB, possibly the Texas Attorney Generals office fraud division?
My husband and I submitted our phones (the exact same model, in the exact same condition, at the exact same time, in the same box.) His phone was received immediately, acknowledged and within a few days he received his offer (slightly less than they initially quoted us) and his payment. My phone took over 10 days to be received. It was a low ball offer w/them stating it wasn't the model I said it was (yet their quote listed the exact same model) and that it had numerous scratches (it had ZERO scratches). Using their form, I requested they re-evaluate. Never received a response. Tried calling (sat on hold multiple times for over 30-45 minutes each time). Tried chatting (worthless). Tried emailing. Declined the offer finally and asked them to return. Long story short. 3 weeks later, no tracking information, no idea where the phone was, multiple escalations. If I was rating my husbands exp, it would have been 4 or 5 stars. My experience says we will never use them again.
Galaxy phone
I ordered a Galaxy S20 512gb phone from the company. Their website said the phone is available. I did not get the confirmation of my order for 3 days so I called them. The representative said they are out of the phone but they have exactly same phone in different color. I specifically asked him whether the phone is 512 gb and he said yes. So I accepted the similar phone of different color. I received the phone of different color, spent 3 hours to transfer the apps, data and activate the phone and then I find out the phone is 128 gb instead of 512 gb. I called Gazelle. They offered $ 70 rebate or return the phone. My request was send me the phone I ordered and you promised to deliver. They said $ 70 or return the phone. Take it or leave it. Not a good experience.
Ibought an iPad Pro 12.5 inch that was not to my liking and returned it within 30 days. No questions asked, prompt service and I reolaced it with an iPad Pro 10 inch which I love. I have previously purchased an iPhone 6 and an iPhone 7 Plus with zero problems. Why pay Apple full price.?
This is the second time I sell my phone back to gazelle and Im never disappointed with how smoothly it is to work with this company. Fast and efficient! If youre trying to sell back your phone this is the only way to go!
I sold a MacBook Pro and an iPad 2 on Gazelle. The transaction could not have gone more smoothly and communication couldn't have been better. I've been telling everyone about Gazelle. I may have been able to sell it for more on my own, but the downside risk is not worth the (possible) higher price. Gazelle is awesome.
Had an I-phone 4S.It worked Gazelle opened with an offer that would allow me some return on the phone. After they received the phone, they lowered the offer. Then they sent me another email advising the phone was worthless. Did I want them to throw it away or to be returned to me. I asked them to return the phone to me. I never saw the phone again. I never heard a thing from Gazelle, It was just a taking. Do not send anything to Gazelle
I sent them an iPhone 7 Plus 256 Verizon with minimal scratches for an offer of $123. They reported my phone was an iPhone 7 Plus 128 ATT with extensive scratches and offered $48. I rejected their offer.
I sold two iPad 2s. The quote they gave me was fine, and that's what they ended up paying after examining the condition of both iPads. They were very fast, and I loved the option of being paid in the form of an Amazon gift card.
They emailed me giving me 2 days from when they received my phone to send it back to me, I had no idea that they would recycle my phone & give me no money, I had no idea when they would actually get my phone. Some bull$#*! story about my esn that had been cleared through my provider
These guys are crooks and intentionally try to lowball sellers after giving them false information. I tried to sell my old cell phone and was told the screen would not turn on and that it had only 16GB memory. I rejected their ridiculously low counter-offer.
When I got the phone back it turned on fine. And its the 32GB version, not 16GB.

I sent in a literally brand new Samsung Galaxy S9, I won one and already had one so I took it out of the original box and put it into the Gazelle box and sent it in. I was quoted $215. Four days later I get an email that they could only offer me $120 because my device was not flawless but had signs of wear and scratches. I replied to the email that wasnt possible as it was a brand new device and was told they would need 3-5 days to reassess it. I checked the USPS tracking info and Gazelle didnt even have my phone yet! It wasnt delivered until the day after they sent the email low balling me. I emailed again with a screen shot of the tracking info and within a couple of hours I got an email that they had sent me the full quoted $215 via PayPal. Had I not been on top of it they would have gotten away with scamming me! Never again will I use them!
The hardest part of this very easy process was identifying which model of iPhone and iPad I had, and that wasn't very hard at all. Maybe - and I stress maybe - I could have gotten a few dollars more selling my gear through Craigslist or eBay, but I doubt it would have been worth the much greater hassle. This was so incredibly easy and efficient, and by selecting the Amazon gift card payment option, I even got a few dollars more.
Tip for consumers:
You may have to look online to identify the exact model you have.
I received the phone (An Iphone 6 64GB) and it wasn't responding to my touch so I called the company right away and they told me to check it with my carrier. The guy in there helped me and everything was working fine. The next day started again. I couldn't make it work. I kept on touching the screen and nothing happened. Now I will need to return it and get a new one. I know these are used phones but I paid with shipping and everything $350 for an item IT DOESN'T WORK. So disappointing.
I just sold back my iPhone 6s and couldn't be happier- got what I was promised and received the check in the mail in less than a week! This is not the first time I have used them- probably my 4th or 5th and every time was smooth and easy and I received back what I was quoted (or more!) in a very timely manner. I highly recommend and will continue to use them myself!
I purchaseed another ipadd from Gazelle. Sent my old Ipad to them via offer. I had used the Ipad since new. Just had the battery replaced at a cost of $100.00.
Shipped in their box, when received evidently was damged during transit. Keeps in a boot loop.
So they sent back to me. I now have a non working Ipad and eveidently they take no responsibility for the damage. Have not even answered email or request!
