I think Gazelle provided quick service and a fair price for my devices. I would use them again. It was easy to use the prepaid mailing containers which were sent ahead of time. Upon inspection of one device they even upped their offer and paid me more! Extreme honesty.
Stay away from gazelle my phone was flawless they told me it wasn't. I asked for my phone back and they deliberately put scratches on it I use a screen protector and spend a lot of money to keep my phone safe. I am so disgusted and aggravated that people could actually do this they ruined my phone now I can't get the full amount I should be getting from another site.
Who is running your customer service? On hold for 38 min, no response to twitter message, no response to email. Phone bought in excellent condition needs new battery! AVOID THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE A SCAM SELLING INFERIOR USED PHONES AND MISREPRESENTING THE CONDITION #customerservice #usedphone #gazelle

after all the work to upload data to phone -- discovered battery is defective. no response from customer service/
It's a ripoff! My used iPod Touch 4th Gen was only quoted at $45, and it has no cosmetic defects or working problems. They're selling on Ebay and Craigslist for over $100. Just a complete ripoff.
I have used Gazelle several times in the past and had NO issues. They receive the phone and pay you fast. Easy and done no problems. Well I think either they have fallen on hard times or decided to see how intelligent the end-user sending the phone in actually is. I sent in two phones recently (iPhone 7 and 6s) that were in excellent condition. Neither ever dropped and always from day one protected in Apple smart cases. The reply back on both phones were they had excessive scratches and in poor condition (the guy that reviewed them must have left his jam jar glasses at home that day). They reduced both offers on phones by 50% almost. Look, I am not one hard up for the cash but do not like dealing with tire kickers on selling items like this on FB... etc. It is easier for me to send them in take a little less and move on. Well this time I told them just send them back and they can sit in drawer or I will let my son try and sell them on FB marketplace. I really did not care! Amazing within 24 hours I now received full price and an email stating they were exactly as I described. I would suggest looking at other sites on the net next time.
I've sold a number of phones to Gazelle over the years. But in the last year or two their customer service has gone downhill and their operations have become shady. We sent in a phone in good condition and once they received it they claimed it was "heavily damaged". We rejected the offer and asked for our phone back. It has been over 3 weeks since then and we still haven't received it. We've contacted them multiple times and got different excuses. The latest is that USPS picked up the package but decided to stop scanning any of them so no one knows where the phone is. We are just supposed to wait and hope it comes back.
I even had one customer service agent that wouldn't even look up my case. Just said we'd have to wait longer because they are busy. Today, Dec 3,2020, USPS shows the package was picked up (Gazelle said Nov 25). I've already sold the phone to Apple for more than Gazelle ever offered. Stay far away from this company. They have shady business practices and poor customer service/experience.
Battery suddenly dies. This is a screenable defect. What a waste of my time and effort. Will never buy from them again and recommend you save yourself the irritation.
Gazelle is a great service. So easy to use and access. It is a pleasure working with them to sell old junk that otherwise would have been thrown away.
Very very easy to send my old iPhone. Gazelle basically does everything for you and in under 1 week the money was deposited into my Paypal account
Thank you!
They screwed up my first order by sending a pre-paid phone which won't work with my carrier. They apologized, sent me a second phone with 10% discount and free overnight shipping, but since it was a weekend, it took until Monday to receive. Same mistake: sent me another prepaid piece of crap, EVEN THOUGH THEY ASSURED ME THEY WOULD CHECK THE IMEI NUMBER! What a bunch of mo-rons. They agreed to overnight a new one, but not until they had tracking numbers for old ones, which meant another 2 day wait (and that they were still on my credit card!) Screw them: I just ordered a better pre-owned phone directly from my carrier.
I bought an iPhone from Gazelle in December 2022 that was supposed to be unlocked. It wasn't. I paid extra for an unlocked version but Gazelle cheated me out of my money!

Easy, fair, and fast! They sent the box & postage. Took 5 minutes to pack. Gave it to the postal delivery person. Couldn't be more pleased. Thanks Gazelle!
Couldn't have been easier. They ship the box and label just need to place your phone and drop off at the mailbox. Everything including shipping and receiving my check was completed within 10 days!
I took the extra Amazon bonus, which was nice, and it all happened so fast. I know I could have gotten more selling on eBay but not having to deal with the hassle was well worth it.
These 5 star people are just PAYED to give 5 stars. Gazelle is a scam. DO NOT SEND ANY DEVICE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! If you have an iPhone, they strip the SIM, AND if you send any other product (Headphones, Earpods, Chargers, ETC) they will KEEP them! What a scam. I don't trust them. Neither should you. I sent my old iPhone 4, with the box, they took it all. Scam, all the way. Quote was only 30 Dollars, I bought it new for about 150. Scammers.
My order has been cancelled by Gazelle and they never paid me back! They wrote it's refunded but never did it. Stay away from Gazelle! They stole your money.
Very rude customer service people when you call. I waited over 30 minutes to speak with someone and she was extremely rude and short with me. Will not be selling to Gazelle anymore.
I purchase an IPad 11 inch 3rd generation cellular. I paid 25 dollars to over night it. They told me that I can't exchange it only return it. Never again with this company
This the 2nd iPhone I tried to sell Gazelle where they made up the condition of the phone I sent and reduced the offer. The first time I asked them to send it back. This time they were the only ones accepting a 6s. They offered $6. It had a couple minor scratches and worked right before I wiped my info off it. They emailed me saying there were a lot of scratches and it wouldn't make calls. They offered $0. So I had them recycle it. I would never sell a decent phone to Gazelle. They lie. I have sold three phones to IWM and they have hit the offer every time.
I let the good price get me. Got a Pixel 7 Pro, which looked amazing when I opened the box, only to find out that the phone crashes every time you open the camera app. I spent two days doing every fix on the internet to no avail. The camera even crashes in safe mode. Seems to me like they didn't turn it on to test it, as a working camera is one of the 30 points in their inspection. They also don't do exchanges, which you will find out after you get your broken phone from them, you have to dig for that info in the FAQ section. Pretty shady if you ask me. It seems to me that they are expecting everyone to pay the $30 expedited shipping, send a broken phone out, pocket shipping money, get the broken phone returned, and move on to scamming their next customer. And remember a 30 guarantee is not a warranty. If you're like me, you'll be out a phone for a week or so while the phone is sent back and my refund is issued so I can afford a new phone. I use my phone as a social media manager constantly, so this is hugely inconvenient. Also, I emailed Gazelle customer support asking for any help with the issues with no response.
Tip for consumers:
Just be careful, it just seems like a gamble whether you'll get a good product or junk.

I sent them two phones, both of which were in like new condition. Rather than go through the hassle of selling them locally, we decided to sell them to Gazelle, The offers seemed somewhat fair, so we sent in the phones. The Galaxy S5 offer was settled after inspection, but for some odd reason, the iPhone 6 offer was degraded to less than half of the original offer. I was in no way going to accept this, but my wife simply didn't want to deal with selling it, so I VERY reluctantly accepted.
But I will say this. There were zero scratches, or blemishes of any type on that phone. If either of them were going to fail an inspection, it would have most definitely been the S5, but no, it obviously ended up being the most expensive of the two that somehow didn't meet their requirements. Neither of these phones ever spent a single hour out of their cases, protected front and back. Once they were taken out for shipment, they looked like they'd just been taken out of their original boxes.
I wouldn't trust Gazelle again. I'll chalk this one up as a learning experience. I won't do business with them again. My biggest regret is not having photos of the phones before I sent them so I could post them for everyone to see. Never did it cross my mind that I should do that, but I sure do wish I'd have done it now.
I tried returning the phone I bought from Gazelle exactly one month ago. It took them a week to send me the information on where to return it and once I got the email saying that they got the phone back they still have not refunded me like they said they would. I've sent in tickets but they refuse to respond. STAY AWAY FROM GAZELLE THEY ARE A BUNCH OF CROOKS!
I sent in a water damaged Iphone 6S 64GB that they said I would get $65 for. Gazelle wrote me saying it was only like a 16GB (which they don't even make in an Iphone 6) so now my offer is $20. I told them to send me the phone back and I have spoken to Sue, Thomas, Ryan - all senior reps and I still don't have my phone back! I will never sell to Gazelle again. Try Buybackboss. They were great the last time I worked with them! I will call them everyday until I get my phone back to sell to another retailer.
Easy as 1, 2, 3. This is the second time I used Gazelle for a total of four iPhones. I like the option of Amazon gift card... very quick and painless process.
The transaction proceeded as described in a fast, efficient manner. After inspection of the iPad the reimbursement was even higher than the initial estimate. Would do business again.
This is the second time we have worked with Gazelle. It is easy and quick! Great experience and everything happened just as advertised. Couldn't be happier.
