I think Gazelle provided quick service and a fair price for my devices. I would use them again. It was easy to use the prepaid mailing containers which were sent ahead of time. Upon inspection of one device they even upped their offer and paid me more! Extreme honesty.
Stay away from gazelle my phone was flawless they told me it wasn't. I asked for my phone back and they deliberately put scratches on it I use a screen protector and spend a lot of money to keep my phone safe. I am so disgusted and aggravated that people could actually do this they ruined my phone now I can't get the full amount I should be getting from another site.
I Fed-exed a phone to them on 6/21/2018 on my dime thinking it would be quicker and now, a week later, they still can't locate the phone! I have called on at least 3 separate days and keep getting the run-around from them. I spoke to Shia on Tuesday, June 26, who I gave my Fed-ex tracking number to and she assured me she would reach out to the warehouse, which by the way, is 3 hours later than them; I was told I would receive follow ups within a 24 hour period, and still NOTHING! I contacted Gazelle on Wednesday, June 27 and spoke to a Senior person, Jeremiah, who, again, assured me that he would check again with the warehouse and that I would be contacted with a status within the 24 hour period... again NOTHING. So I contact Gazelle, one again, on Thursday, June 28 and spoke to a Senior person "Ryan" who was NOT very nice and again gave me the same run-around about being contacted within 24 hours; he assured me that I would receive an update from Jeremiah as it was now "Jeremiah's" case to handle. Well, guess what? Nothing, nada, zip from Jeremiah. So, today I call Gazelle again and spoke to Darlene; she gave me the same run around. I was told by each representative that I spoke to that I should NOT have used my own label as it can cause a huge problem; my comment was "how come you don't put that on your website?" No response. I truly feel like I am being jerked around with Gazelle and will NEVER use them again. I have done business with them in the past and never had any issues. I do not know what they have done but there service now sucks!
Very simple, very fast. Got my money quick and the process couldn't be simpler. That is all I need to say.
Easily completed. The check arrived promptly and was MORE than anticipted. They sent box to ship, who could ask fo more.
Something has gone seriously wrong with Gazelle. I previously sold them two iPhones and one iPad. I had no problems in the past with these transactions so I sent them my iPad Air 2. It was in perfect condition, it always lived in an Apple leather case and rarely left my desk. I just wasn't using it, which is why I was going to sell it. I inspected it before I carefully packed it and it was PERFECT. Then Gazelle receives it and lowers their payment by $41 because of a big scratch on the back. A SCRATCH THEY PUYT THERE! You could see from the depth of the scratch that someone pushed it away from them across a table top and some grit put a 6' long scratch parallel to the edge. Probably some summer help carelessly handled it and damaged something I shipped in pristine condition. When I refused their adjusted low-ball offer they shipped it back. Now, I have a scratched iPad. AVOID Gazelle at all cost. They've become careless, unscrupulous and didn't even apologize. They owe me for damaging my iPad, but I'll never see a cent. They probably had too many of that model and didn't want it so they low-balled me after they damaged it, or maybe damaged it so they could low-ball me- I'll never know. Very unethical company.
I have used gazelle twice now and my fiancé used them also, we had a great experience. It was super easy an got our money for our phone quickly!
They even gave me more for
My device because it was in a better shape that I had described it. That is very fair. An example in business practice
Gazelle has been fair with their prices and very prompt. I would not hesitate to use them again and I will spread the word to all of my friends.
Turned in MAC laptop in the box they provided- - they accepted my assessment of the laptop- and got an Amazon credit - all in a matter of days- so easy!
After posting my review I took out the iPhone Gazelle returned and turned it on. The SIM card was gone. How did that happen Gazelle?
Gazelle's policy appears to be to offer an inflated price online to lure you in, then downgrade the offer once they receive your device, usually to what you would have received had you sent it directly to the manufacturer. In my case I had an iPad that had been in a sturdy case with a screen protector since I bought it. Their online offer was $85. Since Apple was offering $70 I took the Gazelle offer. Within days I had received the shipping box and I sent the iPad to them. A few days later they reported back that they were only going to pay me (wait for it) $70. Apparently, it acquired numerous scratches in transit. Mmmm. It was used. I don't deny that. But it was also protected and well cared for. It had never been dropped and rarely left the house. I have sent devices back to Apple and always received what they said they would pay. I think, to get the $85 from Gazelle I would need to have sent my iPad in its original box, unopened, still hermetically sealed. Their response included a take-it-or-leave-it offer I could accept the $70 or they would send it back to me in which case I would send it to Apple and get $70. There was no option to appeal their assessment. Of course I accepted the offer. I subsequently wrote to customer service to express my dissatisfaction with this practice only to learn that I could have appealed the assessment except, well, gee, I had already accepted the offer so it was too late.
So, I give them two stars because they were prompt but that's as far as it goes. Everything else about my experience with Gazelle says to stay away. Apple delivers what they say they will deliver. You will probably get the same deal from Gazelle, but they will mislead you and offer you more to get your business. If that doesn't bother you go for it, but I won't do business with a company that treats people like that.
I purchased an iPhone 11 Pro Max in 'excellent' condition. I paid $679 after taxes and express shipping and the only good part of this transaction is that it arrived on time. Upon opening the box, everything looked great. The phone turned on fine and everything seemed to be in working order. Except the rear facing camera. This is why I spent more money for an 'excellent' phone, so I did not have to deal with this. Nearly $700 is a lot to have any type of issues for a USED phone. I emailed their customer service multiple times, and when I got a response was told to send the phone back. I explained to them that I use it for work and also have a child and would like to get it fixed locally, I had provided proof. Now, understandably I could have sent it back (what they don't tell you is that there is a restocking fee, and you'd have to repurchase and pay yet again for shipping) but I had just started a new job and it doesnt look too good saying "hey sorry I missed the meeting because I did not get the text you sent". Anyway- they offered me a $20 refund. That is all. I professionally declined and was told that my case was "escalated" and that I would be hearing from a senior executive within two days or I could email them directly at a specific email address. A week went by, nothing. I emailed the address provided and this person had no knowledge of my case, etc. after going back and forth for days on end they offered me yet again, $20. Weeks later, and explanation after explanation to this person and that, I was finally offered a whopping refund of $40 with proof that I got my camera fixed. Ridiculous. I missed milestones and events photos of my child going back and forth with these people for f o r t y dollars. So, don't do it. Save your money and go somewhere else.

I wish I could rate this scam company less than one star in reality. My wife and I went on the site and agreed to send in her IPhone 6+ which they offered $62 for. I also agreed to send in my IPhone 6s which they offered $42 for. Both phones were in new otter boxes the entire time we owned them from the moment we bought them. They were well cared for as everyone knows these things are expensive. We sent them in and they emailed my wife saying the phone has several scratches and the backlight didn't work... we were shocked to say the least. They stated they could not pay her for it and would either return it or recycle it for her... unbelievable! We were dumbfounded. When we got it back and opened the package we went right to inspecting it as when we sent it to them it was absolutely perfect, damn near just like new and we figured it may have been damaged in shipping but nope, it was absolutely showroom perfect when we got it and everything works as it did from day one. I wish I could post pics or a video to show. So then came my iPhone 6s. When I received an email from them they said the same damn thing almost... several scratches except they would still but it for the lowered price of $19. What a joke this place is. I immediately requested it to be returned and again... it was in pristine condition, no scratches AT ALL, near perfect new condition as my wife's. This place is a crooked scam. They give u an awesome initial offer to send it in and then hit you with a low ball or try tell you they cant buy it but offer to "recycle" it for you. They know at this point most people already have a replacement and will likely just take what they can get or just give them the phone to "recycle". What a bunch of scam artists crooks. This place should be ashamed of their tactics and business ethics. I nor any of my family will EVER do business with this company or any associated company of theirs.
I was offered $247.00 in the form of an Amazon gift card for my Ipad Pro 1st generation 12.9" device. It was in near perfect condition, in which the only issue was that the battery was old. This was mentioned in my submission, which resulted in the total mentioned. Well, it seems that I should have visited this site and BBB first, because just like other people here, they sent me an email stating that they lowered it to a whole whopping $9.00 dollars for discoloration of the screen that did not light up fully. I know for a fact this device didn't have that issue, as I had it looked at in an actual Apple store beforehand to get their trade in value. I decided to go with Gazelle because their price was far better, (at the time), but that doesn't discount the fact that it was already seen as great condition prior.
I feel like this company depends on a bait and switch tactic with all customers, by giving an amazing price to out compete everyone else, before pulling the rug from under them with a huge discounted offer while lying about damage. Just look at these other reviews.
Anyway, I was contacted by a gentleman and was told it would be reinspected. I was also that the price would be discussed because he agreed that was way too low of a reduction. Well, he called back and I missed it due to being at work, so I called the number back and was stuck on hold for an hour before someone picked up and told me he would let him know to contact me, and that I should receive a call back within a couple hours. Well, its going on a week now and there's been no communication whatsoever. It was also reinspected, but now they ADDED something else, so I had it reinspected again and got a reply within the hour with ANOTHER NEW ISSUE that was added, keeping it at $9.00! At this point I'm pretty sure they're just waiting for me to give up and take the money or return, but sorry, not gonna happen until I get a REAL resolution.
This place is a scam, avoid it. I don't believe I will be using this company again. I have also reported this to BBB.

Ipad trade in for Amazon gift card
Gazelle was simple and easy to work with. I will use them again when I have an electronic device I no longer need.
Received payment promptly as promised. Free shipping was great and the price offered was the best I could find
Thanks, will use again
I had incorrectly chosen which model iPhone I had but they pointed it out and paid me the better price. Thank you Gazelle!
I was very happy with Gazelle. They made the process very easy and I ended up getting a little more money that I expected. Will definitely use again.
Love selling my old cell phones and the fast shipping of my payment check is quick and easy after they check your phone to make sure it's working..
We used gazelle to sell 3 phones. It was such a easy and fast process. We opted to get Amazon gift cards and earned an extra percentage back.
I sold my Samsung S7 Active and I was shocked how fast they processed the item and deposited to Paypal. It arrived on Friday per USPS and I had funds in my account that same day.
Complaint Details
Dispute for the following: First of all I only received 49 items instead of 71 from three separate orders. Not only that 13 of the cell phones are not functional either they have a bad LCD or no power considering the auction description of the item which is suppose to be grade B means fully functional cell phones. When I emailed the Bstock company which is the company that manages they told me that gazelle respond back to them saying that they are out of stock of the product they had on auction so my question is howcome they had Auction for cellphones and they are not in stock Therefore I'm requesting a full refund of my money in order to solve this matter ASAP hopefully this won't take long because time is money and I did wait almost a week for this item to be shipped to me and now here you go it's not even what I was expecting please get back with me and let me know when I'm suppose to do the shipping in order to return items to gazelle company. This is really a bad experience. I really hope that you can help to solve this problem of fraudulent sellers. This is really give them neg-ative feedback because they should live up to their obligations. This is really a scam.
I ordered a Samsung S7 when they were on sale, waited more than a week for it to arrive, only to find out that the wrong phone was sent to me. Right model, wrong carrier, despite being labeled as a phone for my carrier. Ok... no biggie, just means that their tech team that certifies their phones don't do anything besides slap a sticker on the bag and toss it onto a shelf, not actually testing the phone to verify it is what it is. Strike one.
Then when I call to have it fixed, I am informed that Gazelle does not have any measures in place for a mistake like this, that the only thing I can do is mail it back to them for a refund. Ok... except they mail their phones out in little one-time use baggies, meaning despite postage being paid by them, I have to buy a new container to ship it back to them. And to add insult to injury, Gazelle only allows returns thru the USPS... meaning if you actually HAVE a job, you can't take it in to a Post Office until Saturday... and I was calling Gazelle on a Sunday. Normally not a big issue except Gazelle won't issue a refund until they receive the phone, verify its in the same condition as when it was shipped to me, then process the refund in 5-7 business days AFTER they have the phone in hand. So i'm out my funds for 2-3 weeks until they send it to me... Strike Two.
The final straw was looking at the website a few days after I called to set up my postal return and seeing that the phone will no longer be on sale. So after I DO get my refund sent to me, the phone will be@$100 more then when I bought it the first time. And because Gazelle can't do exchanges, they won't honor the price that I originally paid... Strike Three.
The concept of the company is fine, the execution is horrible. Why pay more for CERTIFIED phones if they don't even do that? Stay away, save your money.
